Like imagine like a while later Damian just comes home into like the batcave or something after patrol and all the ex-robins are busy chatting with Aion, Aion being like “yeah, im like batmans child with catwomen, its crazy right?” and they like welcoming him because “look at this poor child, ignored by batman, he’s so strong and capable!” and Damian sees him and like, drops whatever he was carrying in a dramatic *clang* noise and the floor, and just points drammaticaly like “.... Today's vinyl of the day is raw, unadulterated, and timeless. I still recall the first time I saw Over the Rhine live. It I was in Kansas City with my good friend @melodylittlefield .... and more recently my dear friend @hewhoisfamous helped me rediscover what first attracted me to their music. They've created powerful music that draws your soul in ... they say it best, "It's unsettling when someone named Jesus keeps turning up in unexpected places on a double album..." Honestly, there isn't enough room here to write all of my thoughts about this powerful album. But one of my personal favorites is "Long Lost Brother" - "I wanna do better. I wanna try harder. I wanna believe down to the letter. Jesus and Mary can you carry us across this ocean into the arms of forgiveness." And then in the song, "Changes Come," the prayerful song perfectly states the way I feel during these days. The concluding lyrics say "Jesus come. Turn the world around. Lay my burden down. Bring this world around. Bring the whole thing down. Bring it down." So yeah ... it's deep. Many of you don't know I have siblings, this is a part of my life that is painful. This is my brother who called me last night for the first time in over 2years. He showed up at my work today and brought me a gift. I have been crying all day and yesterday I talked about people who i don't have relationships with or that's not in my life at small group and It hit me hard this morning.
