yknow what . i like you . shows you my exe ocs and also gives you little summaries of them underneath the read more cut and in the tags :3 ( desc in alt text 4 the 1st img ! ) - Nicky 🌊
in order: Rawr.EX3/EXD (any) imagine sonic.exe + 2010s sparkledog raver culture . that's Rawr. she likes waffles and is a virus exe who lives in a bootleg rom pack of the first 3 sonic games & a sonic crackers prototype Itazura, Guardian of Mischief (she/they/it/plush) first ever pc port oc!!! what it says on the tin. secret 8th guardian who loves nothing more than causing problems and playing life-threatening pranks on people. you can tell they're after you if you hear what sounds like jingling bells and giggling around your house in the dead of night. oh and plush's kyofu's kid 👍
Sew (any, no she/her) amorphous dimension travelling critter that uses sewing / crafting to make it's "skin" , typically based off of pre-existing people in the dimension. saw sonic and his super form and thought he was the COOLEST thing alive, so it chooses to resemble him :] Sink/Waterhog/Nicky (we use he/it but it doesn't rlly care /ref) literally just me lol , but from a 3rd person perspective he's a personal take on Mr. DJ's "Sink Sonic" concept . he's like 12-13ish and has way too much lore for me to summarise but fun fact : worldbuilding wise, he's a mish-mosh of the games, the Shogakukan sonic manga and a little bit of sonic x sprinkled in. :3
#scary / weird sonic tag 🩸🌭#sonic.exe#creepypasta#exe community#exe oc#sonic pc port#sink fnf#below the depths#chaos nightmare#scene kid#scenecore#scene oc#fun fact . that sweater i drew sink wearing is NOT the only one he has and every time i draw him he's wearing a different one. always#he never really has the same one on twice in my drawings unless im feeling a vibe and if you ever want to draw him you can also#make up a sweater for him to wear!!! just know he always has on long sleeves so youre free to give him a tshirt layered over a long sleeved#shirt too . you dont gotta limit yourselves like i do i just default to sweaters lmao#you can also do this with rawr but with like. ALL of her parts except the teeth (theyre consistently neon yellow or neon green)#so feel free to go nuts if you draw rawr. like actually. give them cool hoodies or clothes or new bang patterns idc go OFF that's the point#ita and sew are meant to be consistent as possible but tbh you could draw sew with different patch patterns and ita with a different bow#tl;dr I Love Customising My Little Guys and therefore everyone who wants to draw them should also give themselves that joy#also also. please tell me if the alt text is good. im not very good at IDs and i am chronically low on spoons so i never write them#this is to say that if you have the spoons and better descriptive vocab PLEASE write img ids for my art if you feel the need to#i want my art to be as accessible as possible and that includes allowing those with low visibility to be able to visualize my work

So I’m starting this sweater, and the directions are fucking baffling to me????? I mean, stylistically they baffle me, they’re not difficult to do. But like… look at this???

To begin with you start the skirt directions and it tells you to K2 AND THEN go back up to the lace pattern directions and work that AND THEN K2 again. Fucking WHY???? Why not include those first and last K2 in the directions????
And then like… why is the lace pattern not…next to the skirt directions????? Why plop the sleeve directions in between these things rather than at the top???????
This just feels like both absurd pattern writing choices AND wild layout choices.
Is this normal??? Do all lace patterns split things up like this? It seems completely unnecessary to me.
#adventures in knitting#for those keeping track at home yes I did literally finish a sweater yesterday#but look my anxiety is so high if I don’t have a project going at all times I am substantially less functional#also for those keeping track at home no I haven’t started the sleeves#I want full length sleeves not elbow because a sweater with elbow length sleeves#in bulky weight wool#is confusing to me#when are you supposed to wear it??#so since I’m short the plan is to shorten the shirt length so I have enough yarn for long sleeves#and thus I’m going to do a pattern repeat and find out how much yarn it takes#then do a sleeve and find out how much each inch of sleeve takes#and then I should be able to work out the exact length I need to take out of the skirt to make the sleeves long enough m

Cardigan S (Pattern | Yarn | Thread)
I have officially cast on for this cardigan! Sleeve #1 (aka Swatch #3). The OG swatch I used size US 8 needles for both the pattern and the ribbing which is exactly what the pattern states but honestly I think my ribbing looks like dogwater. For Sleeve #1 I swapped to a US 6 for the ribbing and then on the increase row swapped back to US 8. The pattern also has you go directly from ribbing into pattern rows but I'm inserting a wrong side stockinette row for that increase/needle size up and we'll see how it looks.
My pocket swatch/Swatch #2/the one mostly covered up by my hand gave both good and bad news. In good news, 26 stitches is wide enough both for my hand and more importantly my cellphone. In bad news, it wants the pockets to only be five inches tall, and that is NOT enough for either my hand or my cellphone. Easy fix esp considering I plan on completely ignoring every single direction on how to make the pockets Except for the actual stitch count. More on that once I get the Second (and hopefully last) yarn I ordered for pockets.
I didn't realize but because of this shiny thread I'm going to have to knit both sleeves and the two front pieces one at a time.... Taking lots of notes for how many rows I do things in to hopefully match them well enough.
#knitting#knitblr#wip#lace rot#lace knitting#project: cardigan s#i fully expect to have to reknit this sleeve at least once. so i didn't bother with a tubular cast on or anything and just did long tail#and if i don't have to reknit this sleeve i'll just. live with long tail on everything lmaooo#is the shiny effect from the glitter thread worth not being able to knit taat? probably not. but I'm sticking to it now i'm commited#i'm procrastinating so hard on starting the patterning for this sleeve#not because it's hard but because i want to make a chart to keep track of my rows. and i don't feel like formatting it#also also i need to think about what kind of buttons i want for this. because i'm still completely unsure#like do i go with something pink. do i do something gold??? or black??#what i SHOULD do is swatch a button hole so i can find out exactly what size buttons i'll need. but i already cast on for the sleeve....#i made a note to swatch the button hole before starting the second sleeve lets see if i remember

:] I have finally sat down and (slowly) did my first colored piece in a long while! A little ref for The Gatherer AKA The Hunter's mom :>
and now i can REALLY get into my crackship >:D
#i have not colored in so long it took quite a bit of effort and a couple of weeks fiddling#but i got it! -ish still not sure about the pattern on the sleeve so that might change again#For those unaware - The Gatherer is based off of the very first concept art for the playable character from Journey#and very highly likely her concept was reused to design The Hunter since many members of Giant Squid worked on Journey#and Hunter's father? another Journey Concept Character! who actually was called 'To-Chan' by playtesters aka 'Father' /D#tis the crackship part of the equation lmao#my art :v#The Pathless#the pathless game#journey game#journey 2012

My assumptions based on ur comics is that you're incredibly kind and wear a lot of sweaters(your writing is comforting but I get a vague junji ito vibe from some of it)
I had to look up junji ito because it sounded familiar and im terrible at names but omg thank you so much!! his comics are brilliant ^^
#but i dont actually wear that many sweaters#i usually wear like#im blanking on the word but uh#thise long sleeve button ups that u wear over tshirts#flannels?#yeah flannels#though that still doesnt seem like the right word#my favourite has a dragon pattern on it ^^

Knitting is a constant battle between trusting the pattern and trusting your gut. My pattern wants me to knit another half inch of ribbing here but I think I’m going to call it now.
#adventures in knitting#I stopped knitting the body so I could knit the sleeves#and then safely knit the body until the yarn ran out#or I decided it was long enough#whichever came first#but as I was knitting the sleeve I realized they were going to sit funny and it would be hard to judge length#until the neckline was finished#so I took a break from sleeve one to do the neckline#which was cursed#it’s still a little cursed#there’s still a slight fuckip#but I’m not starting over again fuck that#it’s fine now!#I’m not totally following the pattern anyway#I like this pattern but the green yarn is baby alpaca#which will grow and stretch#so I decided to do the ribbing in a wool silk blend I had in my stash#that way as the main sweater grows the neckline will keep it wearable#the pattern calls for bell sleeves but I’m debating doing balloon sleeves for the same reason#we’ll see
