what kind of music do we think Art would be into?
I thought about this for a while because there’s so many possibilities! I definitely think he likes any kind of music you can dance to, something with a lot of bass cranked so loud he can feel it in his chest and another force taking over his body as he dances the day away. Can see him loving The Village People and Amii Stewart!!!!
I also think for leisure he might like music from every day sounds and take an interest in creating music of his own from his instruments he’s made from scrap metal and various electronics, his victims, and other sounds he finds interesting. He learns how to manipulate audio in the right way that scratches his brain.
Here’s an example of the kind of music I’m thinking he could create!

Locust Toybox, 2010: “Dragibus”
Not exactly what I expected when I found out David Firth (the animator behind Saladfingers) has a music channel; he describes the genre as “not quite ambient”

Hiya! I’m about to gush a lot about one of the games you created, I hope that’s alright. No pressure to respond, of course, I just wanted to be sure to leave my appreciation here!
I recently played Dr Voldritch’s Experiment (SUPER excited to play the other two when I get the chance) and the game was SPECTACULAR!
The script for it was genuinely so soothing and charming- there really isn’t enough quality sfw hypnosis content out there that really focuses on the subject being spoiled by the hypnotist. And Voldritch was such a sweet character (and happens to have a very similar style as a hypnotist to myself, which was neat!)
It was just a really lovely experience through and through, and it’s just the sort of hypnosis game I’ve been looking for for years now!
It was also up my alley because Dr. Voldritch’s character design reminded me of Dr. Habit from Smile For Me, a game with one of my favorite art styles I’ve ever seen. Not sure if it was a direct inspiration or just coincidence, but it made me so happy either way!
And lastly (even though I could go ON gushing about it) the music was so GOOD! Usually when I listen to hypnosis files/content, I roll my eyes when they throw in music. It usually just feels intrusive and takes me out of things, but the music for this game was a completely different story! Not only is it oddly catchy, but all the tracks suited the game’s vibes perfectly. Ambient and quirky and really good at drawing the player in!
Ultimately, I just want to say thank you so much for creating the games and music and videos that you do! This has absolutely made my night, and is super inspiring to me, as someone who’s wanted to maybe make some hypnosis content someday :)
Hope you’re having a good day, and again, I am super looking forward to playing Lavender Laboratories and Mezma’s Revenge next!
Thank you so much for enjoying it! Yeah I imagine there's no sfw games mostly cause the only stuff out there is just mislabeled nsfw😭
No, doctor voldritch is not inspired by that character. I never played the game and I made him a year prior. He's suppose to be a parody of mad scientists so that's the whole point of his character is to be generic and tropey.
Anyway, super glad you liked it. I'd also love to see more sfw hypnosis games! That's cool you want to make them.
:edit: forgot to mention my main music inspiration is Aphex Twin, Locust Toybox and Yume Nikki.
