Day 277: My House Is Haunted By This Haunted House And He Pounds My Butt

Here's a more recent tingler, from late 2023. (Tomorrow's will be as well.) I'm going to be skipping out of my chronological order more and more as the year nears its end. I have to appreciate the seasonal vibes! And I've got haunted houses on the mind. Half of yesterday's tingler took place in a haunted house, I'm going to go to my favorite haunted house tonight (shout out to HellsGate in Lockport, IL!) So I wanted a tingler that has MAXIMUM haunted house per house.

This one really is pure vibes. There's no explanation for the more confusing aspects of the haunted house ghost's existence akin to the worldbuilding in "I'm In Love With The Handsome Mummy Racecar In My Butt". You just have to accept that there was once a haunted, but living, house living in this house and he is now a dead house. Ok, there's a part of me that wanted answers, but I can't honestly say that they would have added anything to the story except for satisfying my perverse desire to impose what bits of logic I can on the inherently vibe-driven Tingleverse. This story isn't about the mechanics. It's about the atmosphere. And of the tinglers that play with horror tropes and aesthetics, this is one of the best, transforming the suspense of a ghost story into erotic tension that resolves satisfyingly!
