Hey there lovelies! I'm trying very hard to catch up right now, hopefully it'll happen over the next couple days as home and work slows down.

Today I'd like to send out a gentle reminder to take some time for yourself this week! This is the time of year when a lot of folks are busy taking care of others, getting things ready for family or friends, and honestly, a lot of times we forget to take care of ourselves. Take a break-- take a day off work that's just for you if you have the capacity. Buy yourself a little treat, or do something on the list of chores that YOU want to get done and not that other people need you to get done.

Some of you may have TOO MUCH time for yourself and want time with others-- so be sure to reach out if you do! People get busy during the holidays and they can forget to check on folks because their minds are occupied, but I can guarantee you they think about you often, and want you to be okay. Holidays can be such a mixed bag, and not one person will have the same experiences with them, so do what you need to do for YOU. I hope you have a restful week and nothing too crazy goes on. Rest up, drink some water, and know we <3 ya. Night crew!

As per usual, it's like the sims are aware when it's their last day in the household, and everyone seems to slow down and chill for a bit. Jayla does her own thing by working on painting.

Our cowpoke Struan is feeling kind of blue, and it soon becomes apparent why. Consent is important, but also boo, Moojito - boo! I send him upstairs to cry it out in the closet.

There there, it’s all over now. You may feel like you’re livin’ on a prayer, but Jon Bon Pony still loves you. Take his hoof, you’ll make it I swear!

For once there's no woo hoo to kick off chore montage hour. The pixels really are being quiet.

Initially it seems like Cassie is not into Tiago’s memes at all - turns out she enjoys them. He’s just happy that he hasn’t made a total fool of himself, by the looks of things.

And yup, these two (Mister and Lilac) continue to chatter...

Mister appears to have a moment of enlightenment over the trash can - as Struan does later. Must be a thought provoking trash can. Maybe it's not a trash can and it's actually... art? Time to fob it off on Diego Lobo for 50k.

I was bored and decided to put too much effort into assigning ACNH characters to YTTD characters. No one asked but everyone will get it anyway.

Sara got Maple (It's kind of sad that Maple didn't get Maple, but oh well...). I just thought it would be a good choice for Sara. And also Maple's education hobby was a deciding factor for this.

Reko got Cherry. I don't think I have to explain it. Cherry also looks like NaoReko child. She got sisterly personality and music hobby. It's a perfect character for Reko.

Nao got Poppy. Poppy just reminded me a little about Nao, so I decided to go with this choice. 💖

Kanna got Lily. I can't explain it but I just felt it with my soul, lol. And because they're both really cute and they both will take over the world soon. <33

Joe got Kevin. Kevin just looked a little like Joe. Plus, in ACNH he got a jock personality, what gives me Joe's vibe, so I went with Kevin.

Keiji got Kyle. Do I need to explain? Just look at his eyes. His cranky personality is visible from far away already.

Q-Taro got Rory. Red hair and jock personality? Yup, that's him. It's a shame Rory didn't have fitness hobby. An alternative choice was Mott, who is a jock and got a fitness hobby, but Mott didn't really give me Q-Taro's vibe.

Gin got Dom. I was thinking for a while about who Gin should get. And in the end I decided to go with Dom. This rainbow spiral also reminded me and @goldyluna about rainbow infinity symbol, what is also a symbol of autism, so it was a deciding factor for me. Also, Gin and Dom are cute, so they're perfect.

Kai got Chief. A cranky cook that looks like he would also be your bodyguard. This is them.

Shin got Wolfgang. I must admit, it was kind of hard for me to choose someone for Shin. Especially because I really wanted personality to be at least similar. So I decided to choose Wolfgang, who is cranky. ✨ And for me he kind of looks like Shin.

Mishima got Cobb. I don't think I have to explain. The looks. The personality. The hobby. It's full-blooded Mishima. Jock whose hobby is education. It's him in another universe, in universe of crossing animals.

Alice got Lobo. Similarly to Shin, I had some trouble with choosing someone for Alice. But in the end I think Lobo is a good choice for him. ✨

Sue Miley got Kitty. No special reason behind this, I just thought Kitty would be a nice choice for Sue Miley. :3 meow

Tia Safalin got Deena. Very cute, both liking education. Tia is Deena and Deena is Tia.

Maple got Merry. They both look like a nice company for some tea. Also, Merry's fringe gives me Maple's vibe. <3

Gashu got Brewster. I had no doubts about it. True gentlemen. They are the same person.

Rio Ranger got Marshal. I also don't have any reason for this choice. I just saw Rio in Marshal, so chose him. B)

Meister got Wilbur. My reason for this was really simple as well. I just thought Wilbur is a good choice for him. <3

Midori got Redd. My beautiful, manipulative, cunning boys. <3 Midori for sure would be Redd in ACNH, selling fake arts.

Transmaru Ranmaru got Cashmere. Please ignore the fact that Cashmere is female. Or don't, because we support trans Ranmaru in this household. 💅

Anzu got Rosie. Rosie gave me Anzu's vibe, so I went with this choice. <3

Mai got Tangy. My peppy girls. <3 When I first saw Mai while playing YTTD, I called her a waffle, so food related character is a perfect choice for her. >:3

Hinako got Queenie. Queenie's colours, eyes and hair resembled Hinako. I'm glad that it was my final decision. B)

Kurumada got Rasher. They both look so similarly. They're both cranky. ✨ I think Rasher was a nice choice for Kurumada.

Hayasaka got T-Bone. They both look like businessmen, the colours are also perfect. I truly believe T-Bone is just Hayasaka in ACNH.

I was trying to choose characters that are at least similar from personality and looks, but it was not always possible. I still had fun doing this, so I'm sharing this little project of mine. I wasn't able to say much about some of them because I just had a feeling about certain characters, and that's why I wasn't able to give arguments for some. But well, it was just how I felt and I'm sure some of you would choose someone completely different. And I'll be happy to hear your opinions about it. <3

teddy’s full government name is actually tedward eddie lobo but the only people who ever refer to him this way are news stations when reporting on whatever it is the lobo family has allegedly done. to everyone else — the cops, the lobo henchman, his own mother — he’s always teddy.

while part of it is due to a lack of self-confidence on his part to own the ridiculousness of tedward, the continued use of a childhood nickname is also indicative of the infantilization he faces within the lobo family. even with ritchie lobo nearing three years in the grave and teddy presumed to have taken up the mantle of man of the lobo house, he is still seen as richard and bellafrancesca’s idiot son. he’s not viewed as a serious threat. he’s always a teddy, never a grown-up tedward. always a son, never the head of the household.

Also, the only reason this is being posted earlier than the tons of other requests I have is due to the fact some of this was written a long time ago, and I haven’t posted for a while. I will get to your other requests as soon as possible!

- he had high heels and can definitely walk in them with no issue.

- usually wears boots or loafers. Occasionally high heels to look more fancy.

- his hair takes prayers, genetics and some washing every now and then to look as good as it looks now.

- Hat collection. He has a bunch of different hats for different outfits, and he loves all of his hats equally (that’s a lie he likes his black hat the most)

- bisexual

- when he first joined the flying squad, he definitely tried pulling pranks on Arthur Wright. Some were successful, some backfired.

- he’s a prankster in general. He likes pranking people. It’s always harmless pranks, but they can escalate sometimes to being really annoying.

- cold hands. His hands are kinda cold, so he wears gloves.

- he flirts a lot- he flirts with people for fun or keep them on their toes, or just to fluster them. He finds it funny when they get flustered.

- sometimes, his flirting backfires cause the person flirts back, and somehow flusters him more than he flusters them and it’s so so funny watching him turn red with embarrassment.

- coarse hands. His hands are kind of rough…Not the smoothest definitely.

- he likes hugs a lot- or basically physically affection. If he has any lovers, he’s kissing them on the forehead or cheeks on a daily basis.

- they bailed him out of jail temporarily so he could visit Charles Dupont’s grave- (and also to diss off Lawson’s grave)

- He can DANCE! and he dances really well.

- he wanted to be a painter when he was younger. And technically, he is. He is.

- Evie let him meet her brother, Nicholas, once. Diego definitely tried flirting with him, and it definitely worked well on Diego’s side.

- He hides everywhere. If you see a laundry basket somewhere, and it’s quite big, there is a chance Diego is hiding in it waiting to jumpscare you or someone else.

- cursive handwriting, that is a bit hard to read.

- he can copy other people’s handwriting and writing style, and impersonate as them.

- when Arthur fought Malcolm, he stood aside cheering at Arthur and yelled: “HIT HIM IN THE BALLS!” While eating popcorn. It was very funny.

- He likes popcorn.

- Super good spice tolerance. He eats everything spicy- and loves it.

- parent issues. Grew up in an emotionally unsafe household, and struggles to express how he actually feels about certain things.

- he did a backflip once, and swore to himself never to do it again because he almost failed-

GUY GARDNER, former governess, former bartender, is now on the run. The freedom he’s found with his new name and new mode of dress is being shackled with a summons to the GREEN LANTERN CORPS. GUY has no desire to serve the KINGS of OA and flees. When his horse loses its way, GUY ends up at just the kind of old castle he’s trying to avoid. But the run down castle seems to be empty, though it’s halls have evidence that a BEAST once occupied it. Surely it is long gone by now. Right?

Authors notes:

Guy’s look is bascially just a green version of Prince Derrick from The Swan Princess while Lobo is just a Lobofied version of the Beast from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Lobo’s horns are specifically supposed to be ram-like. Does Lobo have the furry foot/leg shape? Sometimes lol

Why not use Gaston’s look for Guy? Because I think he looks like a dweeb and The Swan Princess was my favorite princess movie as a kid. Also the thigh high boots.

The concept here is that Guy is dodging the draft and ends up at Lobo’s castle. For a while Guy is like fixing up a corner of the castle to live in. The grounds have enough fruit growing on them still that Guy is able to live off that while he waits for some snare traps he set to get some of the wildlife that hangs about. Lobo gets caught in one of these.

There’s no staff trapped as household items. The staff left decades ago. The rose has already lost it’s final petal. The curse that needs to be broken is not Lobo’s.

When you are summoned by the Kings of Oa, you receive an emerald ring. A magical emerald ring. You can’t get rid of it but you can try to hid it and you can try to outrun the call. But the Emerald Knights will find you.
