So, I got two new lobe piercings last week and have been having little to no complications. Just a little itchy which is normal. The woman who did them was so nice and she helped me pick out the right studs for my ear shape and the piercing process didn't really hurt either...just a slight sting that was less intense than getting a shot.

I went to give her a good review and I must have rolled my eyes all the way back. Someone gave her a two star review for using the "old" needle method instead of a gun and then complained that she was overpriced. Like, come on...you know why you pay more from a licensed piercer? Because you are paying for SAFETY! You are paying for high quality earrings that won't irritate your ears. Anyone can use a gun, and those things can cause so many complications. The fact that this person called her method "old" as if the gun is the best way to pierce ears is so cringey.

Like, my parents got my ears pierced when I was five and the lady used a gun. My ears stung for hours after that. My parents didn't know any better. And apparently, that reviewer didn't either, but the tone of her review came off as so smug.

Pierced my ears!!! I did all three in a day with a safety pin, only the highest ones hurt at all. I wanna get more piercings tbh but I’m too scared to go into a shop or ask my mom so six it is for now

So I FINALLY got around to repiercing my second ear lobe hole. I got them done back in 2019, and my body said no and closed them after some time once they healed.

I've always had trouble with rejecting piercings. My belly button was rejected. And of course my first attempt of my second piercings. My original first hole piercings took lots and lots and lots of doctor appointments when I was younger to keep them. Happy to say they've always stayed with me.

Anyway I got my second hole piercings with friends. Three of us got a second piercing and one other got her third piercing. It almost felt like we were in high school getting this done. But nope we are very much in our 20s and 30s.

I’m debating taking put my second lobe piercings because they’re been sore on and off for a while. I got them pierced with a piercing gun because that’s all that was available where i live (i know it’s not great) so if i were to take out my second and get them repierced then i’d get it done with a needle instead and i’d get them a little further apart cause mine are quite close

Hey so im stupid but is there a way to find piercers who do specific piercings easily??? I've been trying to find someone with experience doing transverse lobes by just. going on yelp and searching for piercers near me but i haven't really had much luck that way :/

So it's been about a month and 10 days since my helix piercing and a week since my forward helix, and lobes.

I think for the first week I get paranoid, my forward helix had more discharge and blood than I was expecting but after a week it has calmed down. I just remind myself to trust the process clean twice a day do the occasional soak.

I already want more piercings but it seems to cost 100 bux a piercing so it's probably my jewellery being fancy, but I got to say it's worth it for the mental boost it's given me.

I plan on healing my right ear then getting a couple on my left ear. And I want to stretch my lobes but I'm not sure when. And I might just keep the earrings and relax.

I like the positive attention I've received and I just like seeing myself in the mirror.
