Nox is taken slightly aback at first by the frightened yelling, inside the apartment, coming from Marshal. The ghost trainer takes a step back as three mischievous ghouls phase through and fly out the door, giggling all the while.

"Good job guys mission accomplished!" He gives his partners a thumbs up followed by a snicker, "Let's head back to Shauntal's place before Marshal comes stomping out!"

Loa LOVES mago berries and Hecate enjoys the lum berries! The oran berries are just there in case someone gets hurt and needs a quick heal.

In case you don't know, the name's Nox, I'm 26, and use He/they pronouns (That's me above)! I'm from Hearthome, Sinnoh where I'm going to be future a Gym leader at my Aunt Fantina's gym!

Just thinking out loud right now, feel free to ignore, but...

Sometimes I wonder where Loa came from. Usually Banettes are born from discarded toys, once loved by someone, and are said to seek revenge on their past owner but honestly? I don't know how much I buy into that. Loa has never once shown any signs of aggression like that, and is probably the most motherly out of all my ghost-types.

People always assume the worst out of Ghost types, like how "evil" and "malicious" they are, but I think it's all a misunderstanding born from human assumptions and stereotypes. Plus every ghost type I've met has never shown any malintent, and the only time they do is usually when a stranger is invading their territory- like no shit they're going to defend themselves, but I digress.

-And I'm not saying other types aren't stigmatized, Dark and Poison types get a bad rep too- none of it sits right with me, and I wish people would open their minds a bit more and stop being so stupid.

...Maybe that's why I'm so attracted to these types- we're all misunderstood beings trying to get by and just live our lives.

I'm a chubby dude wearing a black vest that has spikes on the shoulders. I also have bi-color purple hair! I'll have my banette and gengar out with me as well (both are friendly~).

Day Three:

Well... now that I've gotten a run down of the islands and a tour of Akala, maybe I should head to Ula'ula to start investigating.

On a side note, When I got Hecate registered on my ride pager, she was fitted with a saddle(?) for me to fly on, even though I don't really need one. They won't let me ride around on her without one, but I'm not sure she cares for it too much either. Supposedly it's for my own safety, but I've ridden her without a saddle for YEARS now and haven't fallen off yet. Ah well, can't be helped I suppose.

I was also thinking of renting a mudsdale to ride around on, I hear some areas are too rocky to walk across on foot... I think Clay said he had a relative that might be able to help with that.

"Huh? Oh, Mr. Gerbera, hey!" Nox waves back, before meeting halfway with the older man, "I'm guessing this friendly tropius is yours?" He grins.

As the other man is addressed, the two ghost-types' attention is now turned to the other human. Pluto is the first to float over to the older man and grins in a similar manner as his trainer.

"Gaar!" The pokemon greets with a friendly wave. The banette chooses to perch upon her new leafy friend and greets the human from there.

Nox laughs, "Pluto and Loa say 'hello' too."

"You think they'll be able to find me?"

The two ghost types look up at their trainer suddenly, upon being addressed. Pluto grins and nods, while Loa merely shrugs. Nox hums thoughtfully in response.

Currently the odd trio is waiting outside, under a tree, by the route specified in the meeting plans with Kahuna Hapu and her father Gerbera. Nox isn't entirely sure what sort of title Kahuna is, except it equates maybe to a gym leader? That and they were chosen by the island deities known as Tapus (which, apparently, he must be very careful not to anger), but weren't they just pokemon? Then again, gym leaders were chosen by the reigning region's champion, and they were just human.

So far Alola was very confusing for the Sinnohian, but in due time he was sure he'd learn everything there was about the tropical islands.

(*Suddenly the knife, previously being used by the Fighting-type expert, begins to slowly rise into the air. It dances around the kitchen (careful not to hurt Marshal or the Kubfu), while the berries on the table slowly disappear one-by-one*)

(*Meanwhile out of sight, a certain Banette eats and shares the berries with her new friend Hoopa. Laughter ensues...*)

As the older man prepares his own saddle onto the tropius, Nox follows suite and takes out the saddle for his noivern. As the dragon is summoned, Pluto and Loa help their trainer with the saddle (Although this takes a bit longer, as Nox is not quite accustomed to it yet).

"Gotcha!" the ghost-type specialist calls out in reply, hopping up onto Hecate. He takes a moment to adjust himself, as well as recalling his gengar and banette back into their balls. "You ascend first and I'll follow!" Nox quickly adds giving Gerbera a thumbs up.

Before long the two are up in the air, Nox making sure Hecate doesn't fly too fast and pass up the tropius. At first, she chitters in annoyance, but eventually accepts the slow and steady flying.

After a few moments, they arrive above an island that seems to have what appears to be a giant mountain/volcano in the middle.
