-The story takes place in Earth, Juniper used to be a scientist back in the day but he died due to one of his experiments. Somehow before he died, the experiment dropped their necklace without noticing, so before he died, he grabbed the necklsce, and became immortal

I just barely made it in time for the deadline on Mo's Masquerade art challenge on Instagram and all I can say is, trying to make a masquerade outfit while also trying to draw your character in said outfit to be due in the same month is...Not recommend...

My boi definitely got to be fancier than me but I think I was just happy to have clothes that stayed on my body tbh _(:3 」∠)_

But that just means there's room for improvement next year! Can't wait to see how much more embellishment I can get on this dress. Fun fact all those dots in the hem are where I stepped on it with my heel but I don't hate it they look like bubbles lol

And stay tuned for more because @captain-cappie & I had to resort to dibs to see who gets to redraw what pictures we took that night 🤣

You Remind Me of the Babe...

This weekend we attended the Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade Ball. If you are not familiar with LOJ Masquerade, it is an annual fantasy masquerade ball where people pull out all the stops on their costumes and you will see the most amazing things. There are acrobats and performers and a goblin cabaret and fortune tellers plus there's dancing!

At the beginning of the year, I came across a stunning Day/Night costume made by the House of Worth in the 1880s. I was OBSESSED with this dress and decided that I would create my own version for the ball.

This is one of the most complicated projects I've ever attempted and I'm very pleased with the results. I felt like part of fairyland.
