"La Tortura" is a song by Colombian singer Shakira, featuring Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz, from Shakira's sixth studio album, Fijación Oral, Vol. 1 (2005). "La Tortura" was recognized as Pop Song of the Year at the 18th Lo Nuestro Awards. At the 2005 Premios Juventud, Shakira and Sanz won the award for Dynamic Duet while the song was nominated for Catchiest Tune. It was recognized as Song of the Year and Latin Ringtone of the Year at the 2007 BMI Latin Awards. "La Tortura" won Latin Song of the Year at the 2005 Billboard Music Awards and Best Latin Dance Track at the 2006 International Dance Music Awards. The music video won the prize for Video of the Year at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards Latinoamerica. It also received three nominations at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards, in the categories Best Female Video, Best Dance Video and Viewer's Choice Award, becoming the first time a Spanish music video was up for a nomination at the awards. The next year, "La Tortura" was nominated for Best Short Form Music Video at the 7th Annual Latin Grammy Awards.

I overall agree, as always, with your very balanced evaluation of the current state of play. But I also think tickets for that particular show will always be a hot sale in this fandom, either because it will be just up some people's alley (Mordor - I am amazed at the stupidity of their discussing the concept and some of them never heard of Tolkien: mind boggles), or because of the collective trauma/Stockholm syndrome many of us, here, still display. What I mean by that is very simple: for eight years now, we, shippers have been hostages of that Narrative and when something happens along those lines, we will surely react, giving all its toxicity renewed space and airtime. I am not judging anybody, here, because this is only human (and to many, the trauma is palpable) and there is nothing to judge. Maná or Sombrero Verde is a Mexican Pop Ska Rock band made in 1986.

The group has won four Grammy Awards, eight Latin Grammy Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards Latin America, five Premios Juventud, twenty-four Billboard Latin Music Awards, one Billboard Icon Award and fifteen Lo Nuestro Awards. they has also won multiple awards for his work in favor of caring for the environment. In 2012, the members of Maná left their mark on the Rock Walk in Hollywood, United States. Later, on February 11, 2016, Maná became the first rock band in Spanish to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in recognition of their artistic career.

DÍA DEL BAILARÍN: POR QUÉ SE CELEBRA EN 28 DE FEBRERO

Cada 28 de febrero se celebra en nuestro país el Día del Bailarín, en honor al nacimiento del argentino Jorge Raul Itovich Donn, considerado en todo el mundo como uno de los más grandes exponentes de la danza clásica del siglo XX.

Bailarín y director artístico nacido en El Palomar, Buenos Aires en 1947, Jorge Donn comenzó su formación a los ocho años en el Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón, siendo alumno de la emblemática coreógrafa y terapeuta de la danza, María Fux.

A los 15 años conoció a Maurice Béjart, una de las figuras de la danza más importante del mundo, quien estaba de gira en el país con el Ballet del Siglo XX. Quedó tan fascinado con el coreógrafo que, al poco tiempo, decidió mudarse a Bruselas. Allí se consagró como intérprete en la compañía de Béjart, que lo tomó como fuente de inspiración para muchas de sus piezas. Fue partenaire de bailarinas rusas de la talla de Maya Plisetskaya y Natalia Makarova y, a partir de allí, adquirió fama internacional.

En 1976 fue nombrado el director artístico del Ballet del Siglo XX y pocos años más tarde, en 1979, fue galardonado con el Dance Magazine Award, el premio más importante de la danza. En 1988 dejó la dirección artística del Ballet del Siglo XX para fundar su propia compañía, L´Europa Ballet.

Aunque era considerado una estrella en todo el mundo, la sociedad argentina de aquella época lo miraba con cierto prejuicio. Su aspecto pelilargo, su manera de hablar, su forma de vestir y sus demostraciones de afecto, resultaban chocantes para el público local.

Ya habiendo triunfado como bailarín en Europa, adquirió su popularidad definitiva en 1982 con el estreno de la película Los unos y los otros, de Lelouche, en la que interpretaba a Boris Itovich (uno de sus apellidos reales), personaje que lo consagraría para siempre por su interpretación del inolvidable Bolero de Ravel. Otros hitos memorables de su trayectoria fueron Bhakti Nijinsky y Payaso de Dios. A los 39 años se lo pudo ver bailando por última vez, en Madrid, donde interpretó el Bolero y Diva.

En 1989 fue premiado por la Fundación Konex, siendo reconocido como uno de los cinco mejores bailarines de la historia en la Argentina. Además, fue uno de los pocos bailarines latinoamericanos elogiado y reconocido por la élite europea del ballet del siglo XX.

Jorge Donn murió el 30 de noviembre de 1992 en Lausana, Suiza, a los 45 años. Luego de su muerte lo homenajearon muchos artistas y bailarines, entre ellos, Maurice Béjart con su "Ballet por la vida".

En Ciudad Jardín, barrio donde nació el bailarín nació, se nombró un pasaje con su nombre.

Snow - Informer 1992

"Informer" is a song by Canadian reggae musician Snow, released in December 1992 as the first single from his debut album, 12 Inches of Snow (1993). "Informer" was a chart-topping hit, spending seven consecutive weeks at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. It peaked at number one on the singles chart in Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland, as well as on the Eurochart Hot 100. It entered the top 10 in Austria, France, Greece, Iceland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and the UK, where the single peaked at number two during its third week at the UK Singles Chart. Outside Europe, it reached number one in Australia, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, and on the US Billboard Hot 100. In Snow's native Canada, "Informer" topped The Record's singles chart and was a top-10 radio hit, peaking at number nine on the RPM 100 Hit Tracks chart. "Informer" was awarded with a gold record in Austria and the Netherlands, a silver record in the UK, and a platinum record in Germany, New Zealand and the US. In Australia, it received a double-platinum record.

As he was growing up in Toronto, Canada, Snow had a strong interest in rock music, but in 1983 there was an influx of Jamaican immigrants to the neighbourhood and his interest turned to reggae music and he became adept at the use of the Jamaican dialect, or Jamaican Patois. He developed his own style of music, by blending dancehall and reggae with rock and pop music.

Snow served an eight-month sentence in Toronto for assault when "Informer" began getting radio and MuchMusic airplay. The song is based on a separate 1989 incident when Snow was charged with two counts of attempted murder. At the time, he was detained for a year in Toronto before the charges were reduced to aggravated assault, and he was eventually acquitted and freed.

"Informer" won a Juno Award for Best Reggae Recording in 1994. It has been recorded twice in the Guinness Book of World Records as the best-selling reggae single in US history, as well as the highest charting reggae single in history. In Japan, Snow received the Recording Industry Association of Japan's 1994 Japan Gold Disc Award for New Artist of the Year.

In 2019, Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and rapper Daddy Yankee released a new version of "Informer" as "Con Calma" together with Snow, who recorded new parts. The Spanish-language remake topped the charts of 20 countries and reached the top 10 of 10 others. In 2020, Snow won four awards Song of the Year with Daddy Yankee for "Con Calma" at Premio Lo Nuestro Awards, the Pop Music Award from SOCAN, and they won the Top Latin Song of the Year at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards. "Con Calma" won big at the Latin Billboard Music Awards 2020, taking home six awards.

Enanitos Verdes or Green dwarves is an Argentine Rock Band started in 1979 and still running today.

They began playing at first in clubs and bars in their city and Cuyo, later they traveled to Buenos Aires to look for greater opportunities. In 1984 they were invited to the Festival de la Falda and chosen as the revelation group at the event. Later that year they recorded their first self-titled album and achieved greater recognition with the song "I still sing." Although the following year Embrioni left the band to join Alcohol Ethilo. The group continued recording albums as a quartet such as Contrarreloj (1986), Habitaciones Extranas (1987) and Carrousel (1988), all of them produced by musician Andrés Calamaro. They are invited to the 1988 Viña del Mar Festival where they are awarded a silver torch.
