For the every Cevans character, what is each oneâs favorite position in bed? đđ
Fac-i-na-ting. I have categorized them into similar positions and then broken down the specifics or variations. No, I do not know the actual names of a lot of positions. I use the terms 'top' and 'bottom' but NOT in a BDSM way.
Sincerely, MINORS DNI. Warnings for very smutty descriptions of each of these characters 'in the act' and just...do I need to warn you about how much I was sweating during this???
'Top' Positions
Curtis Everett - Jimmy Dobyne - Steve Rogers - Ransom Drysdale - [Bucky Barnes]
Curtis is a cramped-quarters kind of lover, like you have been fucked up the bed until you and he are pressed against that headboard like a pretzel on a baking sheet. Gahdamn, he is intense. He threads an arm beneath you to make sure you're as close as possible. He grinds his pelvis into you, loving how his balls slap your ass. He likes it real sweaty, but he'll help you clean up in the shower, too. Dirty boi. đźâđš We need him.
Jimmy and Ransom like you bent over but in different ways. Ransom just enjoys doggie-style. He feels awkward with too much eye contact and doesn't have to worry about that from behind. Jimmy is exceptionally good at spontaneously pressing you back or down onto a counter or the couch or perhaps a fence outside. đł He's oddly into fucking with at least some clothes on, but not because he doesn't like your body. He has a thing for choosing sex over chores or other obligations, so he and you are dressed for doing whatever else. It's just a little naughtier that way.
Steve is--I'm sure we can all agree--a missionary man. He looooves that eye contact Ran is so afraid of, but BUT! Steve's also a most considerate gentleman. He worries about putting too much of his weight on you, so his actual favorite position in pinning you against a wall (or mirror or window, etc) because he can lean into you without fear. He also enjoys that you get very, very excited for him to hold you up like that. You wrap around his neck and kiss him like it's your purpose in life. You get handsy, and that's about his favorite part...
[I know you said CE characters, nonnie, but Bucky just sneaks in, sorry!]
Ngl, Bucky took me the longest to figure out, and I'm not entirely sure he has a true 'favorite,' something he likes a good deal more than other positions. I have, however, landed on Bucky going braindead and gooey inside when he gets you in a mating press. There's, uh, a symbolism to wanting him and his cum inside you for as long as possible that hits all the right buttons to shut him down to the rest of the world for a while. He likes to sit back afterward and grip your knees to keep you right there until some drips out as you clench around nothing. You aren't empty though.
[Why. the fuck. does Bucky always get so đ„” in these?]
'Bottom' Positions
Johnny Storm - Jake Jensen - Lloyd Hansen
Lloyd lets himself be lazy. He legitimately tucks his hands behind his head like he's at the beach and taunts you to work harder. He's so used to ordering people around and being quite active. Unless he has some aggression/frustration to work through, Lloyd needs to not be bothered with effort. It's your turn. Put your back into it.
Jake lets you control everything. Let's be fair: Jake is just happy to be here, ya know? He gets to be naked, he gets to see you naked, and he is going to come no matter what. Use him to your heart's content. Don't try telling him not to touch you (like an order or a deprivation game) because he can't stop himself. Every other order or request, he's game for, but on his back offers the best view of you--and technically, his glasses fog less đŹ.
Johnny straight up loves when you ride him. He controls everything from below, though, because it's not actually about you taking over. He loves guiding your hips. He loves fucking up into you. He loves already being prone to fall asleep faster. [Go on, try to tell me I'm wrong. ::listens:: ::crickets:: Yeah, that's what I thought.] It's a win-win-win situation. All around cannot fail to please him. Johnny is definitely the type to assume that what feels good to him feels as good for his partner.
'Side' Positions
James Mace - Ari Levinson
Mace technically changes positions so much it maybe doesn't count as 'side,' but he's so playful, I'll allow it. His favorite sex, in general, is filled with natural ebbs and flows, quicker frantic times as well as soft doting and sweet, blissful enjoyment. A position that puts either him and you a hair's breath away from taking over is ideal. He wants to enjoy your company as much as your body. Mace can do both of those things in many, many different positions.
[Mace is quickly becoming a sleeper-fave of mine, my gawd. He's đđ€]
Finally, if Ari doesn't scream "wants to wake up fucking you," I don't know who does. He's spooning you, or coiled together with you someway, and just...ready when he sees you first thing in the morning--or in the middle of the night. Why bother moving much? He'll lift that leg up for you. He'll wrap around you to cup your breasts, play with your nipples, and rub your clit. Don't you worry 'bout a thing. Doesn't have to do with the position you're in, per se, but Ari also gruffly whispers other shit he'd like to do to you in your ear. It's vaguely easier to do that when your heads are on the same pillow, just saying.
Thank you for asking!

âEven more peculiar,â Andy whispers as the group of four step into the front door of their quaint cottage, only to immediately smell the scent of a delicious meal saturating the air. The mercenaries were unaccustomed to their home having any form of âlived-inâ smell, owing to their packed schedules and demanding occupations. For the majority of their days, they were so preoccupied with their current assignment that they couldnât even bask in the feeling of having an actual home for once. Hence, the fragrant aroma in the air was a pleasant surprise.Â
âSmells good,â Curtis comments as Lloyd swiftly moves to the bottom of the stairs, ready to eliminate whoever intruded on hisâtheir home!
âLetâs get this fucker already,â Lloyd snaps under his breath and takes the lead in the search upstairs. Behind him, Curtis nods back at Steve and Andy before splitting off silently by the staircase.Â
There have been many ambushes on their group, in part, due to their line of work but Steve has never been so flummoxed by an ambush attempt before. Was it even an ambush? It was difficult to keep such an alert mindset when nothing seemed overly suspicious. There wasnât any dubious tension in the air nor was there a haunting stillness about the environment, in factâ
âWhatâs that smell?â Steve questions, teetering on the boundary between alert and heedless.Â
âThe food?â Andy provides only to be met with a negative.Â
âThereâs something else in the airâŠâ
Another curious silence is shared between the two mercenaries as they traverse their living space. From memory, due to the lack of lighting, they gather that theyâve made it halfway through the living room already yet nothing has happened. Disregarding their muted steps across the wooden floors, their subdued breaths and the rustling of their clothes, thereâs simply nothing but stillness and peace in the air.Â
âNothinâ up here,â Lloydâs voice suddenly buzzes through everyoneâs earpiece and breaks the, somewhat, taut atmosphere. Both good news and bad news depending on who it was directed to, and whatever the hell was actually happening, âCurt and I are heading down now,â
âConservatoryâs clear, weâre moving to the kitchen,â Ari chimes in just as Steve and Andy pick up on mute footfalls making their way to the entrance of their cooking and dining area. The trio coming in from the garden entrance refrain from drawing attention to the peculiar sight of their clean laundry hanging from the washing lines. Even though it was bizarre, it remained a largely innocuous sight.Â
âIâve never heard of an intruder who does our laundryâŠâ Ransom had commented as Ari and Jake hummed in agreement beside him.Â
âTurned off the fire,â Jake helpfully inputs, indicating that his group have now entered the kitchen space.Â
âSo helpful, Jake,â Ransom sarcastically comments, the roll of his eyes obvious in his tone.Â
âIt could have been a bomb,â their technician argues back and barely resists the urge to raise his voice.Â
âA bomb that smells like stew? Thatâs a first,â
Before Jake and Ransom begin a petty fight, Ari silences them both with a well-placed, cold stare. Usually a gentle giant, along with Curtis, it wasnât common for Ariâs temper to make even a slight appearance, so whenever there was a small sign of it, everyone shut their mouths and righted themselves. It was difficult considering the majority collectively shared the same second gender (alpha) with Jake and Ransom being the only Betas, but thatâs why they were in such high demand. The majorityâs innate dominance and survival instincts worked in their favour. And, with Jake and Ransom to balance out the group as betas who dominated in their own separate skill sets, the groupâs services only proved more favourable. Combined, they were a formidable force and in high demand. It was unfortunate that their main clients were very unsavoury characters. This more recent one was their only decent client so far. Â
âSo thatâs what that peculiar smell is,â Steve comments, his shoulders lowering in disbelief and respite as he finally spots your bundled figure curled up on their living room sofa. Everyoneâs attention is drawn to their captain, his comment and loosened tone steadily releasing the tension in his group matesâ taught figures.Â
âAn omega?â Andy affirms with slightly widened eyes, âWhatâs she doing here?â an omega with a high affinity for magic⊠Andy resumes the thought in his head, remembering Jakeâs earlier analysis, and looks over at Steve, who shares his thoughts telepathically.Â
Light from the kitchen drapes a warm glow over your bundled-up form as a nearby window shines moonlight across your delicate features â the only thing theyâre able to see of you. Slowly, the group from the kitchen moved to stand in the archway through to the living room before splitting off to guard all exit points. No stranger was to be underestimated. With sharp eyes, they observe whatever little features theyâre able to discern from their separate vantage points. Their curiosity slowly rises but with their trust in Steve, their captain, and the religious practice of their routine operations, they find it best to stay back and let those closest to you handle the upcoming confrontation. Â
âWhat the fuck is this bitch doing in our house?â Lloyd materialises out of the darkness, his eyes and pinched expression indicating his rough intentions. The alpha doesnât discriminate between male, female, non-binary, second gender presentation, age, social status, occupation or anything remotely indicative of an individualâs identity because he merely doesnât care. If youâve done anything to offend him, heâs not going to stand for it â heâll beat you down until youâre eating dirt.Â
âSheâs small,â Curtis comments from behind his enraged mercenary partner.Â
âI donât care, she needs to go!â Lloyd reaches forward but his rough hands are pushed away by Andy, who effectively manipulates Lloyd back so that Steve can kneel by your head and shake you awake. Â
A large hand shakes your shoulder and forces you into gradual consciousness. For a moment, you rub your eyes and grumble tiredly before your current situation finally dawns on you and a gasp escapes your lips. Suddenly alert, you sit up and lock gazes with a beautiful blue set. However, you quickly realise that this handsome, clean-shaven blonde with the ocean in his eyes wasnât the only one present in the room. Your eyes connect with six other figures scattered about the space, who are openly observing your figure as well.Â
All the attention makes a heat rise in your neck as your heart begins to race. All of them were handsome in their own way and stood a great deal taller than you, with broad shoulders, muscular arms, slim waists and thick thighs. You canât believe men like this actually existed. Not even the knights patrolling the perimeter of the castle stacked up to the select few before you.
You finally look back at the blonde man in front of you, who has no space to say anything when you hurriedly blurt out your well-rehearsed, opening speech, âIâm so sorry, I didnât mean to intrude,â the blonde waits for you to continue, no longer appearing to want to say anything and allowing you to finish speaking, âI just really needed a place to stay and, perhaps, some directions to the nearest village tomorrow?â behind him, his friends look towards one another, silently conversing about the situation, âI-I promise I wonât stay longâŠa-and as an apology, I made you dinner?â your words rang with uncertainty. Biting down on your bottom lip was evidence enough of your anxiety. No intruder with the intent to kill would look so anxious over such a demure request.Â
But it could all be an actâŠ
âWell, I suppose we can accommodate you for the night,â Steve concludes with a soft smile as Lloydâs complaints get muffled by Curtisâ large hand. He didnât want to alert you of their operations, so itâs best to appear like a normal group of men living together peacefully in the forest, âbut Iâm afraid we donât have an extra room upstairs so youâll have to make do with the sofaâŠâ Steve isnât usually one to lose focus but finds his thoughts slowly straying the longer he looks into your eyes and observes the sparkling delight shining in them. His mention of allowing you to stay only seemed to make them dazzle more.Â
âOh! Itâs no trouble! Your sofa is very comfortable,â you chirp so innocently and happily that every man in the room gapes in awe of you. Lloyd is about to scoff at your aggregability but is cut off when you quickly hop onto your feet and rush into the kitchen, effectively interrupting his big, petulant display of displeasure. âIt seems like youâve all had a long day so you must be hungry, let me serve you dinner,â they watch as you pull a sheepish expression when approaching the stove, âI hope you donât mind that I used your kitchen and your food to cook,â
If youâre telling the truth it should bode well for them. Steve nods singularly at Curtis who immediately looks into their food storage to see if thereâs anything missing. When Curtis can confirm that there was produce missing, he returns Steveâs silent nod. This was a good sign, although it doesnât fully absolve you from a poisoning attempt â it would be even more suspicious if you used your own ingredients and feigned goodwill with the excuse of not wanting to âstealâ from their food storage.  Â
âAs long as we finally get to have a warm meal at home, you can cook up everything in our pantry,â Jake grins boyishly, which Steve mentally thanks him for. Trust Jake to break the ice and avoid any awkwardness with his saccharine charisma. The paramour of the group on missions is usually Ransom but thatâs for missions only â for instances like this that are off-duty and could likely lead to awkward interplay, Jake has just the right charm to keep things going in a good direction. Their magi-tech genius sometimes goes so far as to take the awkwardness on for himself and draw attention away from the rest of the group â itâs come in handy multiple times but Steve doesnât believe Jake sees this quality for what is. Ransom certainly does and takes full advantage of occasionally recruiting Jake for some of his machiavellian assignments.Â
As you potter about the kitchen space, the men take up their assigned seats at the long dining table. There was enough space for everyone, even you. As the captain, Steve naturally takes up the head of the table, leaving the only remaining chair at the other end of the table. Across each other, the mercenaries meet eyes, silently conversing and trying to convey their opinions of you. Theyâve been a group for so long that itâs not hard to observe everyoneâs standing. Jake doesnât seem to mind, in fact, heâs pleasantly surprised and happily accepts the circumstance. Steve, Andy, Curtis and Ari remain nonchalant about the situation, their feelings never really tipping to one side. Lloyd remains visibly irate whilst Ransom appears to have calmed down a bit, however, a disgruntled arch remains on his lips.Â
Steve can tell that everyoneâs exhausted. Even Lloyd. Their days are often very taxing so itâs hard to cook a warm meal when they get home. Ari and Andy are the only decent cooks among them but, by the time they make it back to the cottage, sometimes separately, they donât have the energy to do anything else other than converse about tomorrowâs steps forward. Every night ends with getting to sleep on unsatisfied stomachs and lingering displeasures, only to wake up the following day and do it again. This is all they know and itâs hard to break the routine. Everyoneâs accustomed to finally letting their guard down as soon as they get back home atop the exhaustion; they canât find it in themselves to openly protest or question their pretty, graceful little intruder like they know they should.Â
âLet me heat up the bread rolls for a bit,â you pipe up softly, turning to the group with a warm smile, âbut that gives you all just enough time to wash up,â they blink in surprise before most nod and oblige. Lloyd stubbornly stays in place and when Andy arches a brow at him, a silent question, Lloyd gives a short, snappy answer.Â
âShe canât be trusted. Iâm staying right here. Iâll go when someone else comes back and can keep an eye on her too,âÂ
Andy gives an understanding nod but doesnât move to follow everyone else to their upstairs washrooms. When you look upon the two with curious eyes and an adorable (though Lloyd would never admit it) tilt to your head, Andy offers a reassuring smile.        Â
âThere isnât enough space in the washroom upstairs for all of us to go at once so Lloyd and I will stay here and wait our turn,â
Accepting the explanation you return your attention to the bread rolls. Placing a damp but clean towel over the array, you open the oven and bend down to put the tray inside. Andy has the decency to avert his eyes but not Lloyd. He eyes your bent-over form with a snarl, determined not to fall for your innocent endearingness, clothed in a plain but complementary dress, covered by a cosy, cable-knit cardigan. Youâre not cute or pretty or worth his attention â he isnât a dunce and he wonât make a fool of himself over some woman. Heâs seen this show and dance before, the innocent, damsel-in-distress omega that needs help from an alpha. Itâs such a cliche display, Lloyd canât believe he hasnât openly disparaged your antics yet.Â
Andy, on the other hand, finds himself wishing for something like this to become more commonplace. Itâs a blissful dream he cherishes â to be able to have a love that he can come home to after a hard dayâs work and be spoiled by domestic bliss. Someone to bring flowers to, someone to work hard for, someone to look forward to seeing at the end of each and every day. Seeing you glide through the kitchen with the skirt of your dress billowing behind you makes him want to sigh in contentedness and dismay all at the same time. He knows he isnât the only one out of their group who wishes for stability and an easy life like this. Itâs impossible for them to even dream of this simple joy. But getting a small glimpse of this domestic life brings about an urge in Andy. It makes him want to push and fight to attain such candid happiness â something that feels easy and euphoric, his own paradise on earth, shared with someone special.Â
âThatâs your name?â you ask innocently, placing a large underplate beside the vase of flowers at the dining table before moving to retrieve a cloth for transferring the stew.
âYeah, Lloyd Hansen,â the grump confirms.Â
âHansen?â Lloyd tenses at your piqued interest. He remains taut when you turn around with your ever-present, warm smile, carefully lifting the crockpot of stew over to the table.Â
âWhat about it?â Lloyd snaps defensively, ignoring the warning clench of Andyâs fingers over the slope of his shoulder.Â
âI just knew a very kind man named Hansen,â you sheepishly admit, hurrying to gloss over the topic at the sight of Lloydâs inquisitive brow raise. Introducing yourself simply, you then turn your attention to Andy, who also introduces himself in return.Â
âMy name is Andrew, Andrew Barber, but everyone just calls me Andy,âÂ
Lloyd snarls when you lie about it being a pleasure to meet them but is swept away when Andy roughly pulls out of his chair. The others had begun to filter back into the dining room. It was the pairâs turn to wash up and head upstairs as they distantly heard you introduce yourself to the rest of the group behind them.Â
âLet me help you with that,â Ari helpfully sets the table with you as the others take their seats once more and introduce themselves one by one. The bearded, giant of a man smiles faintly when you thank him for his assistance, finding that he rather enjoys seeing your smile and prettily beaming eyes directed at him â even if itâs just for a second or two. âIâm Ari, by the way,â You smile at how lovely his name sounds and freely tell him so. He seemed shocked at your vivacious demeanour but doesnât comment on it, happy to indulge in your refreshing mannerisms.Â
Steve was the clean-shaven blonde that sat at the head of the table; you assume heâs the big man in charge despite his much gentler appearance compared to some of the other characters sitting about the table. Curtis is the gruff-looking one who politely takes off a woollen cap to reveal his buzzed hair; you gauge that heâs the silent, observant type. Ransom is unlike the others in his fashion, dressed in a comfy, cable knit sweater; he looked approachable but there was something about him that made you second guess yourself. You donât quite know how to feel about that. Lastly, there was Jake who grins freely and seems a little more energetic than the others around him. His good mood is contagious and helps you feel at ease.  Â
Everyone watches as you take out the bread rolls and go about the table, carefully placing a roll on their side plates, your smile never dropping. The rest were placed in a basket at the table within everyoneâs reach. Plenty were left so you reassured them that they could grab another if they were feeling extra peckish.Â
âThank you,â Steve voices sincerely as everyone eyes the delicious meal laid out before them. One by one, they had begun serving themselves a portion of the beef stew you had thoughtfully prepared. It was all from the same pot so they plan on waiting for you to take the first bite, avoiding a sly poisoning attempt. âItâs been far too long since weâve had a warm meal to come home to,â
âItâs really no trouble,â you smile down at your lap, taking a seat at the other end of the table, âitâs the least I can do for your kindness in letting me stay the night despite being a complete stranger,âÂ
Everyone observes your words and actions with great care. They have an eye for deceit; Ransom has taught them all about the common tricks he plays to earn the trust of those they need to fool on missions, however, nothing about your actions so far appear fraudulent to them. It was strange. Perhaps itâs because theyâre trained to think this way that they have such lingering doubts about your innocence.Â
It isnât long until Andy and Lloyd return to the table and fill their bowls too. âApologises for the delay,â Andy is the only one with the decency to express his regret, Lloyd simply grumbles under his breath.Â
You donât seem to catch on to their plot of watching you take the first bite and wait for any adverse side effects to occur before they can deem the food safe enough to consume themselves. Thankfully, you taste the bread roll and stew all at once, dipping a piece of the roll in the stew to taste together. Thatâs all they needed and finally allowed themselves to savour the bliss of having a homecooked meal after a long, hard day of work.Â
Lloyd hates to admit it but he appreciates the hearty dinner. Itâs an indulgence he happily dismisses his earlier wariness for, wanting to enjoy the meal to the fullest. He can get back to being bitter about the situation and you, later. Curtis manages to smile modestly at the warmth the stew fills him from within. Itâs been so long since theyâve indulged in such an innocent, domestic pleasure. Perhaps you were a blessing in disguise, put there to quench their deprived existence. Andy, again is given a soothing balm to soothe one of his deepest desires â a happy home. He finds heâs unable to look up and face you, knowing that his expression will leave him and his yearning vulnerable to everyoneâs criticisms. Jake and Ransom meet eyes across the table and grin at each other. As the only two betas, they have a more intimate kinship between them and both can tell that the other is incredibly satisfied with the situation. Yes, they have petty fights but they agree on a lot of things too, this tasty meal being one of those things. It didnât start off ideal but this was a repose everyone had been craving. And they were more than eager to indulge in the moment too.Â
Steve observes everyone at the table with Ari. They understand that the type of occupation they have aligns with a lifestyle that typically doesnât have this type of scenario playing at the end of every day. This is surely something they would cherish for a long time. As time passes, they slowly realise how misplaced their judgement and wariness were. Finally, they can relieve themselves of that burden and fully enjoy the rare evening.    Â
Slowly regaining their strength throughout the meal, everyone settles down and begins to ease up for the night. The chatter fluctuates, sometimes itâs loud, sometimes itâs quiet but everyone goes for seconds and thirds before you can even get through half of your plate.Â
âSo how did you get here?â Trust Jake to ruin the mood in such a way. Itâs the obvious question on everyoneâs minds and was asked it in the most innocuous tone possible, only to be met by the most awkward silence to ever fall over the group as everyone turns their focus on you. Â
You contemplated telling them the truth or not. These men deserved your honesty but you donât know if it would result in further danger, your stepmother had a lot of magical artefacts nobody knew about; you canât make careless decisions. And you werenât about to risk yourself or these kind menâs safety so you go for something in between â a half-truth, â...I ran awayâ
âFrom what?â Ransom demands in an almost threatening tone. Heâs back on the defensive, along with Lloyd, the two of them eyeing your shrinking form disparagingly. Jake, seeing the reaction of his teammates, feels immense guilt for having put you in a difficult situation and looks to the only person he trusts to placate the tension, Steve. Â
âCalm down, Ran,â Steve sends him a warning glare despite his level voice.Â
âNo, I think he has a point and if sheâs going to stay the night then I think weâre owed an explanation,â Lloydâs eyes donât leave you, his gaze fixed, cold and untrusting.Â
âI uhhâŠâ you begin to get nervous. You donât want to reveal that youâre the princess but youâre feeling the pressure from all the attention atop Lloyd and Ransomâs demands. Everyone can see that youâre fighting with yourself and expect you to finally confess to something. However, rather than reveal the truth or lie further, you go for the third option, ââŠI-I think I should just goâŠâ with a weak smile, you get up from the table â free to do so without protest as the mercenaries are either shocked or vehemently glaring at Lloyd and Ransom.Â
Your bowl of beef stew is only half eaten and your bread roll has a few bites left in it. Nobody can meet your eyes as you hurriedly cross the dining room to the living space with your head down and take back your basket from behind the sofa you fell asleep on. You donât bother with collecting the perishable foods you had stashed in their cool storage, thinking it a lost cause. For the final time, you look at them through the large archway connecting the living space and dining area, âIâm so sorry for the intrusion but thank you for letting me stay this long. Please enjoy the rest of the food. I umm⊠I baked some banana bread and made whipped cream to have with for dessert,â youâre about to turn and leave, bidding them farewell when youâre stopped by a mountain â Curtis stands in your path, blocking your escapeÂ
âTheyâre being pricks so their opinions donât matter,â his voice is much more gentle than you imagined, âyou can stay,â the bearish man takes advantage of your hesitation and leads you back to your seat with a large hand on your lower back. He pulls the chair out for you and tucks it back in as you sit down again. You canât meet anyoneâs eyes, the tension in the air, still too high.
âYou can stay regardless of whether you tell us your reasoning or not,â Steve voices, meeting your gaze kindly when you snap your head up in surprise. Itâs obvious to all parties (except for Lloyd and Ransom) know that you donât mean them any harm so theyâre happy to let the incident pass and offer up their home. It isnât even their permanent residence, only the one given to them by their employer on the conditions of their year contract.Â
âRansom and Lloyd are a little possessive but their rough edges arenât very dangerous,â Ari offers, the insight on the two characters no longer seems necessary after the interactions youâve had with them. However, it was reassuring for it to be said aloud by someone, âJust ignore them, we all doâ his kind smile beneath his thick beard urges you to offer a hesitant one in return.   Â
Ransom eyes Andy who doesnât acknowledge his obvious glare. As the negotiator of the group, Andy was well-equipped with the skills to weasel some admittance from you but he clearly has no interest in getting any sort of information. Andy remains a silent observer. Heâs aware of Ransomâs dismay but doesnât acknowledge him, making the manâs stare turn icy. Too righteous Ransom scoffs in his head. Everyone knows about each otherâs past. Clearly, Andy was still especially soft around women, those who were gentle and kind, the homey type, omegas especially. You were the perfect image of that so thereâs no hope of Ransom ever getting Andy to do anything.Â
Great, just great, the pathetic, sappy asshole. Lloyd grumbles internally, he was a witness to the silent interaction between Ransom and Andy, and had arrived to the same conclusion. Their negotiator isnât budging. The only person able to influence Andy would be Steve but you have their captain wrapped around your little finger too. Hopeless! The lot of them! Â

Their Bride (Snippet 1) - Kinktober 28
Summary: You always dreamed of letting your dirtiest fantasies become reality. Your men made your dream come reality.
Pairing: fem!Reader x Nick Fowler, Ari Levinson, Lloyd Hansen, Bucky Barnes, Steve Rogers
Warnings: mentions past consensual non-con/dub-con roleplay, kidnapping, multiple partners, Â mentions of sex tape, mentions of callboys/prostitution
Trope: Post-coitus moment
A/N: Â A short follow up to: Best bridesmaid ever
Kinktober vs Flufftober 2024
âJust relax, lean back, and enjoy how we dismantle your ex.â
Lean back and relax, Ari said, while you tried to wrap your head around the situation. Not moments before they revealed their true identities, you believed your bridesmaid and best friend hired the most handsome and best callboys walking on earth.
The fulfillment of your secret desires still lingered in the back of your mind. Memories flashed up, bringing back every moment of desire and lust.
Did their true identity change your desire for them after all of them gave you what your body and mind were craving? You pondered when Ari stepped back inside the room to hand you a cup of your favorite tea.
âI can see the wheels in your head spinning,â he said, sitting opposite you in an old armchair, while you watched him with curiosity. This man did unspeakable things to you and your body but looked almost shy when you stared at him. âWe never said that we are callboys, sweetness. You gave in to our demands so easily; we just went with the flow. At first, we only wanted to scare you a little and fuck with your financeâs mind.â
âWhat?â You gaped at Ari. Did he just make it sound like they didnât lie to you? âYou made me believe youâre the callboys my friend hired.â
âBaby cakes, do you honestly believe guys like us offered their dicks for money?â Lloyd chuckles as you try to not throw the cup of tea at him. âMy meat is a filet mignon, not a cheap burger.â
âHansen, youâre not helpful. Not at all,â Ari grunted. âWe should explain our plan to her. Y/N is not a pretty doll you can use and put in a corner.â
âOh, Levinson,â Lloyd plopped down on the couch next to you. âI wonât ever put my muffin into a corner. Iâll make her scream my name any time of the day.â His hand crept up the nightgown they offered you this morning, one of many designer clothes they got for you. âRight, sunshine. You loved it when I got down on you to tickle your clit with my mustache.â
âLloyd!â Steve snapped at the man next to you. âWe wanted to talk, not bend her over the couch too. Letâs finish her ex-fiancĂ© off before we get to her naughty cunt again.â
âDoll, are we having a party?â Bucky strolled into the room, Nick hot on his heels. They sipped at their coffee while undressing you with their eyes. Similar eyes, turning you into a puddle of goo whenever they look at you. âWhat do you want me to do to you today?â
âGet your shit together. No sex this morning. If we want to hit Walker hard and fast, we must do it now. Letâs give him a taste of his own medicine. I want him to suffer through every scream and moan we forced out of his lovely fiancĂ©.â
You watched Ari take over the lead. He wildly gestured while talking, making you whimper more than once. You barely listened to what he had to say. These five men fulfilled your darkest desires and offered a new life to you within the same heartbeat.
How could you ever go back to a normal life? What would you tell anyone? That you let these five men, members of the mob on top of all, do unspeakable things to you?
Youâre ruined in more than one way.
âHow about you enjoy the show, cupcake?â Lloyd said, and wrapped one arm around your shoulders. âLater, you can enjoy more of me. Letâs sneak out and do it outside like the animals.â
âLloyd!â Steve snapped his fingers in Lloydâs face. He was done with Lloydâs endless appetite for you and the noises you made for the mustache-wearing bastard. âStop thinking with your dick for once, will ya.â
âLet us have our fun. We already fucked Walker over by fucking his lovely bride. He still thinks sheâs going to marry him. How about you stab him in the back and twist the knife?â
âI prepared everything,â a new face stepped into the room. A cocky guy with glasses and spiky dark blonde hair. He was wearing a pink shirt with an imprint saying go petunias.
You wouldâve giggled at his outfit, but he switched a large monitor on and talked about hacking into Johnâs system and other things you donât understand.
âAlright,â he said. âA livestream wouldâve been much funnier, but this will do too.â He dipped his head to look your way. His cheeks turned red, and he gasped loudly. âOh, sheâs here.â
âStop staring at our girl,â Nick warned before pointing his index finger at him. âGet the job done. We donât have all day.â
âNameâs Jake,â he said, instead of doing his job. He flashed you a smile, making you giggle. You could imagine turning him into your sweet puppy. A stark contrast to the roughness your other men provide.
âJensen, do your job!â Ari barked at Jake. âI want results, and I want them now!â
âHere we go,â Jake said. He typed away on the keyboard, starting a countdown. You watched John on the monitor. His phone rang, and he got a message to switch his laptop on.
John sat down on his expensive leather chair and switched the laptop on. Jake immediately took control of the laptop, easily hacking into the computer.
Moments later, you could hear the scene you remembered so well unfold once again. Your moans and the men barking orders at you filled your ears as John grabbed his laptop to smash it against the wall.
âHah, as if this would stop me!â Jake snickered. âLetâs drive him insane.â

Walking up the steps of the Kappa Zeta Nu building, you pulled your humming ear pods out of your ears and popped them in the jacket pocket where your phone rested. If it hadnât been for the big Greek letters above and its proximity to the college, the fraternity house could almost fool someone into thinking it was just any other regular suburban home.Â
Giving the front door a rhythmic knock, it quickly swung open to reveal a scruffy-looking mathematics major, still groggy from sleep.Â
âMorning Frank,â you couldnât help but notice the spark in his eye that your presence generated.Â
âAngel,â your nickname sounded so good on his sleepy lips, making you smile as he gave you a quick glance up and down, âhow do you look like that this early in the morning?âÂ
Walking past him, further into the house, you chuckled, â8:30 is not that early.â
âUm, on a Saturday it is.âÂ
Thanks to the open floor plan, you quickly caught sight of Jake sitting by the kitchen island, scarfing down a bowl of cereal.Â
âHey!â the blonde smiled, mouth still full of his breakfast, âIâm guessing by the gorgeous look on your face that you made it through last night?â
âYep,â you exhaled, thinking back on the major cram session you had to power through in order to meet the paperâs deadline. The lengthy assignment for your cognitive psychology class had been so extensive that it probably hadnât been that smart of you to keep procrastinating it the way that you had, but somehow you got it done, âturned it in just in time.âÂ
âAtta girl,â the computer whiz reached over the counter to give you a high five, âI knew you could do it!â
âSpeaking of yesterday,â yours and Jakeâs fingers lingered a moment before parting ways, âhowâs our boy doing? Did he make it through last night?â
Appearing behind you, still sweaty and panting from his morning run, Steve answered your question, evidently catching the tail end of the conversation just as he came in through the door, âCurtis is doing just fine,â he leaned against one of the counters, catching his breath, âbetter than fine actually, he won.âÂ
âHe did?â a bright smile bloomed on your face, âman, I wish I could have been thereâŠâ you were usually so strict about being there for important things, such as Curtisâ occasional MMA fights, but because of your procrastinated schoolwork, you hadnât been able to tag along. âItâs all Lloydâs fault, you know. He did the whole oh yeah, we can have a little study date, get that paper done, no sweat, and then distracted me, leaving me with all of the work to get through yesterday.â Â
âYou wanna turn the faucets on down here, give his shower an icy turn as revenge?â Jake suggested, fiddling with his spoon playfully.Â
âNah, Iâll just give him the cold shoulder for a bit,â you settled your forearms against the countertop, unintentionally giving the guys a better view down your top, âhe hates it when I ignore him.â
âHe sure does,â Jakes drawled, nearly dropping his utensil into the milky bowl as he unabashedly stared down your cleavage.Â
Biting your bottom lip a second, you returned to the matter at hand, âis he up yet?â
âCurtis?â Steve clarified, opening the fridge and plucking out a cold bottle of water.Â
âYeah.â
âNope,â Frank shook his head behind you, âheâs still sleeping.â
Only pushing yourself halfway up, you asked âcan I go see him?â slightly taking the others by surprise.Â
âWhen have you even needed permission to go barge into his room?â Frank questioned.
âI donât knowâŠâ you muttered, glancing down at the speckled pattern of the counter's surface, âmaybe heâs got company or somethingâŠâ
âAngel,â Steve leaned over the opposite side of the table, craning his neck so that he could catch your timid eyes, âhe is not gonna go pick up some random girl just because you miss one of his fights.â
Bowing your head, you opted not to answer, instead just attempted to shake the doubt off you entirely.Â
In a bouncy rocking motion, you straitened back up and moved towards the stairs, two of the guys tagging along as they too needed to head upstairs.Â
âSo,â you glanced over your shoulder at Frank and Steve, âhowâs Ransom settling in?â
âThe new guy?â Steve spoke, âfine, I think. I donât know, I donât speak trust fund kid, so how would I know.â
âI donât think heâs that bad⊠Shouldnât we at least try to include him in our little group? It just seems kinda mean not to since weâre so tight and you all live with him,â reaching the top of the stairs, you heard, from the bathroom directly in front of you, the trickling clues of Lloydâs luxurious shower, and briefly glanced down at the far end of the hall where the new guyâs closed door was, his vast room mirroring Steveâs at the opposite side, though his was much more secluded from the rest, being closed in by the injection of both the broad staircase and the bathroom before the cluster of rooms came. âLike you said, you donât know him yet, he might be super sweet and just takes a bit of time to warm up to people.â
âMaybe,â was all Frank cagily, not giving it any more thought.Â
Coming to a stop in front of Curtisâ door, you slowly creaked it open, revealing the sleeping display of a bruised buzzcut, still lightly snoring on his back.
âJesus christ,â you breathed and leaned your shoulder against the doorframe, taking in the beaten form of your friend, âyou sure he won?â you asked the men still lingering a second longer, peeking over your shoulder into the room.
âYeah, you donât wanna see the other guy,â Frank gave your behind a quick tap before ducking into his own room.Â
Turning your head to look at Steve, himself leisurely making his way down towards the room at the end of the hall, âyou sure heâs fine?âÂ
Stopping in his step, he offered you an earnest glance, âheâs fine, Y/n. Go wake him up.â
After shutting the door behind you, you peeled off your jacket and let it drop down onto the desk chair you passed on your way towards the small mattress. Kicking off your shoes, you climbed the twin bed, kneeling beside your resting friend.
âWake up,â you sang, dipping your smile down low to rouse Curtis. Receiving a less than lively reaction, only getting a soft inhale of breath as an indication that heâd woken, you tried again, swinging one of your legs over his form to straddle his hips, âhey, tough guy,â you felt his palms slide up the curve of your ass and come to rest around your waist, âyou alive?â
Just barely fluttering his bruised eyelids open, a bright smile bloomed on his lips, âhi angel,â he sighed contently at your presence, blinking up at your softly illuminated form as the gentle morning light streamed in through his open window, the family of birds living in the tree just outside aiding in the gentle ambience.Â
âA little birdy told me that you won last night,â you let your upper body sink down against his, resting your chin on top of your folded palms, right underneath his chin.
âI did,â you saw as the sting of his various injuries woke him up even further, âalthough I still would have preferred if my good luck charm had been there instead of doing boring homework.âÂ
âOh, please donât make me feel any worse,â you hid your face in his chest, âI already feel like I have too much making up to do.â
âOh yeah?â he picked your head up for you to see the sly smirk now adorning his face, âwhat did you have in mind?â
âI donât know,â you spoke shyly, feeling your cheeks flush as the position the two of you had found yourself in dawned on you, âI just really wanted to have been there,â and you sat back up, wary of where you placed your hands for support on his beaten frame.Â
âAh,â he waved a reassuring hand, âyouâll be at the next one.â
âOh, I will,â you grinned promisingly, scooting down to the foot of the bed as you watched him sit up, the duvet falling off his body to relieve the rest of the colourful aftermath, âa simple assignment wonât be able to stop me,â your enthusiasm made him smile through the wince he let out as he got up off the mattress.
Tailing after Curtis as he moved out into the hall and made his way down towards the lavatory, you suggested as you followed him into the bathroom, âwe should totally do something to celebrate your win! Itâs the weekend, we should do something fun!â
Standing by one of the sinks, Lloyd, fresh out of the shower, didnât take his eyes off his hair in the reflection as you sauntered in. As Curtis grabbed his toothbrush, he leaned down and whispered cheekily in your ear, âI know a way we can celebrate, just the two of us,â flashing you a glance that caused your breath to get caught in your throat.Â
Cutting off your flustered giggle, Lloyd spoke, âthereâs supposed to be a party tonight down on the other side of campus. Me and a few of the others were talking about going.âÂ
âOh, the one Delta Phi is throwing? Natâs going to that! Said something this morning about meeting the guy sheâs been seeing there.â
âWhat-, guy?â Lloyd finally ripped his eyes away from the mirror, âwhat happened to that yoga chick?â
âI donât know, I think she was moving a little bit too fast for Natashaâs speed,â you spoke of your commitment-phobe of a roommate. Saddling up beside the fighter now brushing his teeth, you said, âso, what do you say?â bumping your hip gently against his as you saw him look back at you in the mirror, âit could be fun.â
Pretending to ponder the proposal, Curtis answered, âif you put on a pretty little dress, then I might be convinced to go,â the foaming toothpaste lightly murmuring his flirting.
ââŠItâs always the innocent-looking ones youâve gotta look out for,â Ransom spoke over the loud, bassy music to the moustachioed man next to him on the couch, âand this little charade youâve all got going on must be a hell of a good time,â he elbowed him suggestively, though didnât conjure the desired reaction from him, âoh, come on, you can tell me, dude. Just help a brother out with a few details.â
âI wouldnât know,â Lloyd shrugged with a smirk and took a sip of his beer.Â
âWhat do you mean?â
Huffing out a soft sigh, he answered, âsheâs an amazing girl, donât get me wrong, but she just has a few rules.â
âWhat, like some bdsm kinda rules?â Ransomâs eyebrows wiggled excitedly.Â
âNo, man,â he tried not to chuckle at the yearned-for images his inappropriate guess provoked, âback when we met her she-⊠her heart was fucking broken and there wasnât a lot of stuff that she wanted to do anymore, that she felt comfortable with, but over time, I guess when she started getting over whomever that fucker was, she began to relax and let us in.â
âSo, youâre really saying you havenât hit that yet?â the prying man furrowed his brows, unmoved by the sob story.Â
âNone of us have.â
âThen are those stories about you banging her last week just rumours?â
âNo, no, well not exactly, we did have fun, trust me,â he chuckled, poking his cheek playfully with his tongue, âbut I didnât exactly bang her.â
âSo, let me get this right, youâre all mad for her and she hasnât given out? To any of you? What, is she still a virgin or something? Waiting for marriage?â
âI donât think so,â Llyod thought for a moment, âbut it kinda wouldnât surprise me either if she was⊠I donât know⊠itâs kinda complicated, but damn if she isnât worth it.â
Letting out a low exhale, he shook his head, âI donât know how you stand it, dude. If she was mine, she wouldnât be able to walk. Hell, how do you even share someone like her?âÂ
âWell, I donât know if sheâs mine per se, we all just have fun, you know? Why not share?â
âHey,â your chipper voice interrupted their lewd convocation as you finally caught sight of them on the dark leather couch in the corner of the party, âthere you are,â and immediately grabbed each of their hands in yours, âcome on,â you leaned your weight back, ushering them to get up, âweâre doing shots in the kitchen!â
âSeriously, Barnes? Watch where youâre going!â Ransom exclaimed as the host of the party had rowdily bumped into the rich boy on his way through the narrow kitchen, causing the bright pink shot in his hand to spill all down the front of his white sweater, âthis is cashmere, dude!â he yelled after Buckyâs quickly disappearing form, clearly not haven noticed the interaction himself over the deafening music and his drunken haze.
âOh my god,â you gasped, noticing the huge stain now blooming on the man beside you, âare you okay?â the sharp alcohol still stung in your throat causing your words to come out ragged.Â
âYeah, Iâm fine,â he stared down at himself, then over his shoulder in contemplation of whether or not he should run after the guy in pursuit of revenge, âthis sweater however is not.â
As your eyes washed over the ivory knit, watching it soak up the colourful cocktail, you thought out loud as an idea struck you, âwell, maybeâŠâ and acted quickly, grabbing the manâs hand, âcome with me,â you yanked him past the rest of your jovial friends and down the hallway towards the small bathroom.
Catching on to where your head was at, Ransom spoke after crossing the threshold, âY/n, this is very sweet, but I donât know if it will work.â
âJust shut up and take it off,â you held out your hand, too blind by your inebriated problem-solving instincts to consider any other outcome.
Gazing back at you a moment, he then chuckled and tugged the sweater over his head with one hand, your eyes widening as he placed the item in your waiting palm, it haven apparently been the only layer he had on.
âThank you,â you breathed, dumbfounded for a second as you stared at his bare chest, briefly admiring his toned form before shaking it off and spinning around to turn on the sink. Holding the stained material against the slowly trickling cold water, you pressed and pinched the spot gently in an effort to not agitate the delicate fibres. âI swear, Iâm always the worst at spilling stuff on myself, Iâm like a child, plus the fact that Iâm a knitter, so not to promise anything, but Iâd say youâre in pretty good hands.â
He didnât say anything, simply settled in beside you, leaning against the edge of the sink as he watched your face contort in adorable concentration.Â
âOh, dammitâŠâ you gave up after a few minutes of gentle scrubbing. Turning the faucet off, you held the sweater up and looked at the, although lighter, still very much visible pink stain, âwell at least itâs a little bit better than before,â you tried, flashing the half-naked man an apologetic look, âmaybe if I soak it a bit itâll get better, but-â
âHey,â Ransom placed his fingers atop yours still clutching the wool, âitâs fine,â he lowered your hands as he leaned in and closed the gap between you two, his alcoholic breath fanning across your flush cheeks as he uttered a quiet, âthank you,â before unexpectedly pressing a greedy kiss against your lips.Â
Feeling his grip tug the sweater out of your hands, you instinctively pressed your palms against his chest for support as the whole move had made your intoxicated body lose its balance. His lips were soft, but his kisses were hungry, determinedly letting it build far faster than you were ready for.
You let out a soft giggle of surprise as he suddenly scooped you up and planted you on the edge of the sink, nestling himself in between your parted thighs, your short dress haven ridden up from the movement.
âSo, is this why they all call you angel?â he asked as his heated pecks fluttered down your neck, âbecause you swoop in and save the day?â
âI donât know if I do thatâŠâ you breathed timidly, the reality of what he was doing just catching up to you now.Â
âOh, but you do. You saved mine,â he smirked, âyouâre my hero,â you felt the tickle of his fingers as they snuck further up under your dress, âhowever can I repay you?âÂ
âI, um,â you giggled nervously, catching his wrists before they could get any further, pressing your lips against his in an effort to soften the blow as you thought of a gentle way to let him down, âI think that kiss by itself was a pretty good thank you,â you hopped down from the sink even though he made no effort in providing you room to do so.
Enclosing his arms around you as you giggly stumbled further towards the still-ajar door, he uttered, pressing the obvious tent in his pants up against your softness, âbut why stop there? I can do a lot better than that if you just give me five more minutes,â but the door conveniently swung open a bit more just as two familiar figures passed it.
âAngel!â Jake, completely blind to the man still clawing at you to stay inside the bathroom, hooked an arm around your waist and yanked you along as he and Frank jovially strolled past, âthere you are! Itâs almost 11 o'clock, please donât tell me that youâre bailing on Curtis and truly dooming him to lose to us.â
âI think Curtis would lose to you two in beer pong whether I am on his team or not,â you smiled, thankful of their timing, âyou guys are the reigning champions after all.â
âDamn right,â Frank roared, excitedly lifting his fist, âJ and F! F and J! Ainât nothing this duo canât accomplish.â
âWell, not everything,â you giggled, hooking your arms around their forms as they strolled on either side of you, their arms draped over you in return, âfor instance, youâre both terrible cooks.â
âShut up, angel,â Jake said playfully, âweâre unstoppable and you know it,â he stopped you in your tracks and trapped you against the wall, âsay it,â he smirked down at you as Frank, not missing a beat, slipped in as well, enclosing you completely, âsay that weâre unstoppable.â
Sucking in a sharp breath, you uttered, âyouâre unstoppable,â the sudden proximity awakening memories that made your heart flutter.Â
âGood girl,â he purred purposely, and a shiver ran down your spine as you recalled just how hot they both sounded cumming for you, a while back, when they had managed to talk you into playing with them both.Â
âYou guys are so mean,â you said light-heartedly.Â
âYeah,â Frank scrunched his nose through his warm smile, âbut you like it.â
Twirling you around the dancefloor, Lloyd had been the only one in the mood to satisfy your surge of energy when you came pouting, begging the boys to dance with you. Holding you close, his hands roamed as you rocked to the music, causing you to close your eyes and drift away.
âHey,â a different hand suddenly tapped you on the shoulder and tore you out of your dream, âI need to talk to you a sec.âÂ
Eyes fluttering open to look back at your redheaded roommate, you gave her a quick, âokay,â before raising yourself up onto your toes to speak into your dance partnerâs ear, âhey, Iâll be right back!â
âOkay,â he shouted back over the loud music, âIâll just go grab a drink, you want any?â
âPlease,â you reluctantly let go of his hand and yelled after him as you followed your friend through the swarm of partying people, âa beer, thanks!âÂ
Rounding the corner to settle into a comparatively quieter nook, you tugged your wild hair behind your ears as you looked back at Natasha, âwhatâs up?â
Biting her lip, she spoke, âyou love me, right?â
âWell, obviously, Iâm about to get down on one knee and everything,â you joked, âwhat is it?â
âCan I have the room tonight?â she asked with a small winch, knowing damn well how frequent this request was.Â
âSeriously?â your eyebrows shot up, âagain?â
âPlease?â she folded her hands dramatically in front of her and begged.Â
Letting out a soft sigh, you said slowly, âif you buy me that super good chocolate with the blue wrapper that they sell down on the corner, then-â
âOh my god,â she cut you off and threw her arms around you, âthank you, thank you, thank you!â
âYouâre the worst roommate ever, you know that?â you smiled, patting her back.Â
âAnd you are the best, a true saint! Me and my sex life pray at your altar.â
âYeah, yeah,â you chuckled, playfully pushing her away, âgo on then, get laid.â
Returning to find that Lloyd had settled in with the rest of the guys, taking up all of the clustered couches, you put on your best miserable expression as he handed you your beer, âguys,â you dramatically caught their attention, âI have some really devastating news to tell youâŠâ faking the need to suck in a self-soothing breath before uttering, âtonight, on this very night, I am homeless!â
âOh no!â they played along, giggling as you pressed the back of your hand up against your forehead.Â
âI know! Whatever am I to do? If only some big, strong, handsome boys would let me crash at their fratâŠâ
Clutching onto Curtisâ broad shoulders as he gave you a piggyback ride back to the frat, you all laughed at Jake and Frankâs terrible, lewd rendition of the schoolâs fight song. If Lloyd had been here, if his stamina hadnât forced him to stay out and enjoy the night a little longer, he would have probably not only joined in, but led the tune, waking up everyone in the dorms you passed.Â
âSo,â Ransom smirked as you all tumbled in through the destinated front door, âwho will have the pleasure of bunking with you tonight?â
âI, uh,â you giggled as Curtis sat you down, your shoes clutched in your hand, âI donât knowâŠâ
âYou can sleep in my room if you want,â Steve offered generously, âIâll just sleep down here on the couch.â
âReally? Are you sure? Because I can just sleep down here on the couch, itâs fine.â
âNo, no,â he waved a hand reassuringly, âyouâve had way more to drink tonight than I have, so you should really take the room closest to the bathroom, just in case.â
Smiling widely, you stumbled over and wrapped your arms around his bulky form, âthank you, Steve,â breathing in his scent as you smooshed your face into his t-shirt, âyouâre the best.â
âYou wanna borrow a shirt to sleep in?â Curtis asked, reaching out a quick arm to steady you as you lost your balance on your way towards the wide staircase. Â
âOh, yeah,â you offered him a fuzzy smile, both the alcohol and the hour causing your eyelids to feel like they weighed a ton, âthat would be great.âÂ
Getting settled into the comparatively more private bedroom located next to the stairs, the bathroom too separating it from the rest of the doors clustered down the narrow hallway, you lazily changed into the t-shirt Curtis soon handed off to you, tugging it over your dress before sliding your party outfit off underneath the grey cotton, keeping yourself somewhat covered purely because you didnât wanna end the conversation you and the rest of the boys were trying to wrap up.
âAlright, we should probably let the lady sleep,â Steve spoke, watching closely as every time you blinked, your eyes gradually stayed closed just a little longer, nearly falling asleep against Curtisâ broad shoulder.
âNo, no,â you protested, inhaling sharply in an effort to wake up more, âIâm just resting my eyesâŠâ
âRight,â Frank chuckled as they all got up from their comfy seat on the mattress, being too tired to fight it, Curtis gently helped you lay down, tugging the duvet over your curled-up form.
âHey,â Ransom poked his head into the room as the rest began to filter out, âI thought you might like this,â you were surprised to see him have a small glass of water in his hand for you. Not simply placing it on the bedside table by your head, he kneeled down next to you and held it out, âhere,â expecting for you to take it, âI swear, chugging a glass of water helps with the hangover,â sliding his free palm under your head to raise it up.
âThank you,â you smiled wearily as you slowly accepted it and raised it up towards your lips.Â
Noticing that you were only taking a small sip, his fingers found the bottom of the glass and pressed it up further, âall of it,â he tilted it for you to down it all, âor else it doesnât work.âÂ
Coughing lightly as you lowed the now empty glass, it left an odd taste in your mouth, though you just summed it up to be the handiwork of some of the strong beverages you had consumed during the night working its way up again.Â
âThanks, Ransom,â you groggily patted his cheek, âyouâre so sweet.âÂ
His eyes flickering over your tired face, smooshed against the pillow, he smirked, âgoodnight,â got back up and strolled out past Curtis still lingering in the doorway, arms crossed and watching over you like a guard dog.Â
âNight,â you quietly called out after him as you saw his frame disappear towards the furthest room down the hallway. Redirecting your attention back to your friend, you hummed, âgo to bed, Curt. You gotta still be super sore from last night.â
âItâs not that bad.â
âOh, so youâre just gonna stand there all night, fall asleep on your feet and act as my sleep paralysis demon for the night?â you joked with half-closed eyes.Â
A small laugh bubbled out of him as he finally moved, âsleep well, angel,â he uncrossed his arms and reached out for the doorknob to tug it closed.Â
âGoodnight, Curtis,â you snuggled further into the pillow as you felt sleep overtake you like a wave crashing the shore, adding absentmindedly under your breath, âlove you.â
âHmmâŠâ you hazily blinked your heavy lids open, roused by the pinching pressure between your thighs. Looking up at the dimly lit figure, you mumbled fuzzily, âw-what?â unsure if this was real life or a dream as the whole bed spun beneath you and you felt like you were floating.Â
âShh, go back to sleep, angel,â Ransomâs grunt pierced your ears as his palm pressed over the bottom half of your face, silencing any words you might speak, âItâs alright, daddyâs got you,â a shy cry vibrated against his hand as you felt him rock against you, finally noticing fully the unexpected sensation of his thick girth stretching you out, âjust be a good girl and lay right there, let me have a little slice of heaven.â
Keeping your exhausted legs spread wide apart, his determined hips acting as a door stop, he moaned quietly, âfuck, it really did do the trick,â he looked down at your dazed form, awake enough to be present for him, but unknowingly sedated enough for you not to fight back, âalmost a shame you wonât be able to remember any of this in the morning,â he slid his hand down to squeeze your throat, pinching your rapid pulse and making the world even more blurry, âlook at you, fucking out like a perfect little doll. You wanna be doll, huh? My own personal little fucktoy?â
Fighting to keep your eyes open, your whole body rocked at his movements as he frantically picked up his pace, selfishly pounding into you, melting on top of you and pressing your sedated body further into the bed.Â
âYou know, I barely needed to touch you a second before you soaked my fingers, you clearly want this as much as I do,â he tightened his grip on your throat, âyou need this, you need me,â stifled moans flowed from his lips as he unmercifully pounded into you, scratching his own vile itch, âpoor you, none of your boyfriends ever touch you properly. Thatâs just what you need, isnât it?â he mocked as your fluttering cunt tried to squeeze him out, expelling him from your body, âyou just need your tight little pussy to be stretched out? Just need some good dick? Donât worry, angel,â you vaguely felt his tongue flicker against your slightly numbed skin, âas long as I am here to help, Iâll keep your pussy sore, keep it filled up,â you just managed to catch him growl before you lost the forlorn battle and your body dozed off again.Â
Waking up with a low groan, you quickly sprung up, feeling the contents of your stomach fighting their way out. With no time to entertain the surprising presents of Curtis already curled up at the foot of the mattress, you bolted out of bed and ran out the door, thankful for the close proximity to the bathroom as you soon found yourself kneeling in front of the toilet, regretting every sip you had indulged in as they burned your entire chest on their way out again.Â
Feeling as your loose hair suddenly got picked up and gently held back, you heard the warm rumble of Curtisâ voice as he said, âwow, okay, alright,â his large palm found your spine, soothingly caressing it as you hurled your guts out, âitâs alright, angel. Just get it all out.â
âUrgh,â you groaned, clutching the cold porcelain as you spat out the fowl tang, âI am never drinking again,â keeping your head over the bowl till you were sure you had gotten it all out. With a heavy sigh, you slumped back, colliding softly with the mass of your friend.Â
âYou okay?â he asked, lightly running his hands over your goosebump-ridden form.Â
âI think so,â you blinked up into his steely eyes, the reddened look to them flying over your exhausted head, âat least I made it to the bathroom this time,â you tried to joke with a half-hearted smile.Â
Letting your body weakly droop down, sighing in relief as you felt the cold tile hug your form, you heard Curtis notice, âno, no, you canât fall asleep out here,â feeling his fingers already slide beneath your body.Â
âBut itâs so comfortable,â you let out a small winch as he scooped you up into his arms, your frame draping over his strong limbs, and a dull pain stung your core. âHey, what date is it?â you suddenly asked, trying to make sense of the uncomfortable tingle.
âI-, uh, why?â he thought, carrying you back into Steveâs room, your eyes noticing the other doors down the dark hallway were all open wide, even though it was the middle of the night.Â
âNo reason, I just think I might be getting my period or somethingâŠâ
âMiss Y/l/n?â a voice called, though you were a million miles away, âMiss Y/l/n?âÂ
âHuh?â you blinked, shaking your head slightly as you unsteadily glanced up at the figure, âsorry, yes,â you reluctantly let go of your friendâs hand and rose from the seat you had been waiting in.Â
âYouâre gonna be fine,â Curtis gave your hand one last squeeze, âIâll wait right here for when youâre done, okay?âÂ
He and the other guys hadnât let you out of their sight since the terrifying news had spread like wildfire yesterday morning and rocked the entire campus to its core.Â
âOkay,â you nodded weakly, not truly present as you followed the stranger inside.Â
Pulling out a chair at the cold table, you sat down and averted your gaze from the walls of the bare conference room provided by the school for the law enforcements to use for their investigation.Â
âThe detective will be right in, you just sit tight,â the figure spoke before they closed the door behind them, leaving you alone in the makeshift interrogation room.Â
You didnât know how long you were in there, maybe a minute, maybe ten, but soon you heard the door creak open once more and a voice, long forgotten, found your ears, âhello, Iâm detective Levinson, I will be conducting this-â
âAri?â you blinked up at your elder childhood friend in amazement, the nauseating feeling of grief momentarily washing away at his unexpected presence as he sat down opposite to you, âwhat are you doing here?â your eyes drifted over his informal suit, the jacket missing and the sleeves sloppily rolled up passed his burly forearms, âand when did you stop being a beat cop?âÂ
âUh,â he blinked, a solemn expression washing over his stern face, softening it significantly, âaround a year ago,â he then sighed deeply and said, âI really hoped there had just been another Y/n Y/l/n here at this schoolâŠâ
Effectively bringing you back down to earth, âoh, yeah⊠will this be a problem? Can you not do this if you already know me?â
âNo, no, itâs not that. I just-,â his head tilted gently to the side, âthis isnât something I ever wanted you to go through.âÂ
Sucking in a sharp breath, you nodded shyly, âyeah, well, I am.â
Looking over you a moment, taking in the small changes you had adapted in the years since you had last seen each other, he offered a genuine, âIâm sorry,â and attempted to catch your weary gaze.Â
âItâs not your fault,â you glanced down at your hands as your fingers once again began to dig nervously into your skin, leaving angry little half-crescent marks in its wake, âyouâre not the one running around murdering students,â you awkwardly attempted to joke. Â
Exhaling lowly, he then opened the file in front of him and laid out a small tape recorder in the middle of the table, âare you ready to begin?âÂ
âYeah.â
Pressing on one of the side buttons on the recorder, Ari then announced methodically, âcan you please state your name for the record?âÂ
âY/n Y/l/n.âÂ
âAnd for the record, are you speaking to me voluntarily?â
âI am.â
Glancing over the open folder sprawled out in front of him, he asked, âwhat was your relationship with the victim?âÂ
âRansom, he-, um⊠he was a friend. I honestly didnât really know him for too long, but he lived with some of my best friends, so it just seemed pretty natural for him to also become a part of our little group, if youâd call it that.âÂ
âAnd you last saw Mr Drysdale when?âÂ
âAt the party Saturday night. I crashed at their flat after that, so it was probably early Sunday morning that I saw him last, when he was on his way to bed, I think.âÂ
âDid anything happen to him that night? Anything unusual? His behaviour? Someone he interacted with? Anything you can think of that stands out?âÂ
âUhm,â you thought back, remembering the heated kiss you had shared in the bathroom, though looking back into Ariâs studying eyes, you couldnât help but lie and say, âno, I donât think so. It was just a party, you know,â the thought of telling your childhood crush that you drunkenly made out with a guy sent your stomach turning, crushing the truth before it could crawl out.Â
âAlright,â he nodded, âwell, if you do remember anything, please reach out, weâre running the bulk of the investigation from here, so you know where Iâll be.â
âStill have your number,â you forced an awkward laugh.
âRight,â he sucked in a breath and averted his piercing gaze, âso, uhm, I donât think I have anything else to ask you right now. Thank you for your cooperation with the investigation.â
âOf course,â you watched as his fingers wrap around the tape recorder, clicking the protruding button and making it stop, âit-, um,â you felt a shiver run down your spine as his eyes fell upon you once more, making the polite words seem that much harder to muster, âit really is good to see you again. Nice to see that youâre doing good,â then added jokingly, âthat your mom still hasnât talked you into cutting your hair,â a sincere smile tickled your lips at the mention of the warm woman living next door to your own parents.Â
Even though it was clearly forced, your words still conjured a genuine reaction from the guy who used to babysit you, âyeah, no, you know sheâs never winning that battle,â he chuckled, shaking his head lightly, âitâs, uh, itâs great to see you as well. You-, umâŠÂ yeahâŠâ he dropped whatever compliment was on the tip of his tongue and averted his gaze, âI donât wanna keep you any longer, you can go, you probably have classes to get to.â Â
âI actually donât,â you informed him, though still slowly got up from your seat, âour professors have given us all some time off to-, uh, you knowâŠâ
âYeahâŠâ he nodded understandingly, his vision following your form as you made your way towards the door.Â
Pausing just before your fingertips grazed the doorknob, you looked back, timidly chewing on your bottom lip, âhey, Ari?âÂ
âYes?â he responded quickly, clearly still completely captivated.Â
Finding it difficult to even breathe properly in his presence, especially when those soulful eyes were locked upon yours, you found that your words crumbled before they even got to see the light of day, âI-, umâŠâ then hastily scrambled your brain for a makeshift, âgood luck.â
Breathing out a soft smile as he watched you nervously fiddle with the door handle, he said, âthanks, Y/n.âÂ
It had been Monday morning that a garbage man had found Ransomâs body in a dumpster on the far side of campus. Even though they had tried to contain the news, it still spread like a wildfire, and come lunch that day, it was the only thing any student could talk about.Â
The frat quickly got sealed off as an active crime scene as it had been the last place witnesses had seen him alive, forcing the rest of the guys to temporarily bunk up with friends in their dorms. You felt a bit ashamed about the immense relief you felt at that small detail, the comfort of having each one of them fight over who got to stay with you being something you welcomed with open arms. In the end, it was both Curtis and Steve who stayed with you, Natasha giving you the room and staying with her newfound beau in the meantime, giving you the entire space for a while. Â
The guys had always been protective of you, but it almost seemed to have grown over the past few gloomy days. Not a second passed by where at least one of them wasnât at your side, holding you as you cried, walking with you through the crowded campus or just keeping you company, making sure you werenât alone. You just added it up to be their version of freaking out and buying into the whole conspiracy that it hadnât been a drug deal gone wrong as so many had assumed of the recently deceased playboy with a penchant for illicit substances, but actually someone on campus, a stone-cold killer masking as just the person next to you in your lit class.Â
âWhy donât you go ask him?âÂ
âMe?â your brows furrowed in Lloydâs direction, âwhy me? If you wanna know so bad, why donât you just go ask him yourself?â
Chiming in, Jake tilted his head, âwell, you did say you know the guy.âÂ
Exhaling lowly, you averted your gaze, your crossed arms tightening over your chest, âyeah, you could certainly say thatâŠâ
âSo just go, bat your eyelashes at him for a bit and figure out how much he knows,â Lloyd tried to persuade you, though even his ever-present cocky charm couldnât sway you this time.
Previously assuming that the whole conversation had just gone over Curtisâ head, as he had just quickly sat beside you and stared out the window, he suddenly perked up, âwe just-âŠâ he struggled to vocalise, âif it really is someone here on campus⊠just the thought you sitting in class with them or-, fuck, anything, it just-âŠâ like a magnet, your fingers naturally found his own in a comforting squeeze, âangel, we just wanna keep you safe and the thought of someone like that running around terrorising the school-⊠just please go figure out if he has a suspect yet. See if he has got any leads.â
From the moment you had said goodbye to the familiar detective, shame about not telling him the whole truth had nearly eaten you alive. You had lied to not only a person you had known your whole life, but also a law enforcer. It was insufferable, like a snowball rolling down a hill and growing bigger and bigger with each accumulated snowflake.Â
âFine,â you cracked, the shameful storm inside your body becoming too much to bear, âIâll do it.â
âKnock, knock,â you said with a small smile as you pushed the ajar door open completely.Â
âY/n,â Ariâs spine straightened in surprise, his eyes no longer glued to the computer screen before him, âwhat are you doing here?â
âThought you might be hungry,â you held up your alibi for coming in the form of a takeout bag, âitâs from this little Indian place downtown,â you shut the door behind you before plopping the crinkly bag down on the table, the warm light from the desk lamp illuminating the brimming containers of curry stacked inside, âyou like Indian, right?â
âI-, I do,â he said, still taken aback by the kind gesture, âthank you.â
âYouâre welcome. Thought it was the least I could do as a thanks for what youâre doing,â you waved a hand in the direction of the cluttered corkboard on the wall.Â
âItâs just my job, you donât need to thank me,â he said modestly, leaning back in his chair and lending you to spot the silver pen his fingers fiddled with.Â
Lowering your gaze to stare at your shoes, you exhaled, ârightâŠâ
âSo, um,â he filled out the awkward silence, âwas there anything else you needed?â
âOh, sorry,â you mumbled, keeping your eyes averted, âyouâre obviously super busy and here I am just barging in,â your vision finally flickered up to lock with his, already steadfast on you, âI just, uhâŠâ your breaths became more jagged as his sky-like eyes captivated your own, âthere was actually something else I wanted to talk to you about, something I wanted to tell you.â
âAlrightâŠâ he nodded, listening intently.Â
Blowing out a shaky breath, you revealed, âI lied, something did happen that night.â
âOkay,â his brows furrowed, though not as much as you had feared, âwhat was it?â your anxious brain haven already thought of a million different dramatic punishments he could penalise you with.
âI, uhâŠâ you squeezed your eyes shut nervously, âI kissed him,â your pained voice rushed to force out, âat that party. It was in the bathroom and almost became something else, but, um yeah⊠we kissed⊠me and RansomâŠâ you peaked just one of your eyes open, your tense shoulders nearly pressing against your ears at this point, âIâm really sorry, I just felt like couldnât tell you something like that, not you. I wonât be arrested for hiding this information, will I?â
âNo, no,â Ari quickly rose from his seat, âY/n, youâre okay,â he stepped closer to you as he attempted to calm your uncalled-for panic, âyou wonât be arrested.â
âOh,â you breathed, âgood,â feeling your shoulders begin to drop back down again, âyou know how my mind tends to freak out.â
âYeah,â he nodded softly, âI doâŠâ his words genuine as memories conjured the whisper of a smile to appear upon his lips, âthank you for telling me.â
Awkwardly, you flashed him a tight-lipped smile, grateful that uncomfortable moment had passed, you recalled the other reason for why you had come, âsoâŠâ
âSoâŠâ he echoed.
âDo you have any leads, if you donât mind me asking?â
âThatâs classified information, you know I canât tell you that.â
âI knowâŠâ you averted your gaze and scrabbled your brain for what you could do or say to get him to tell you, âitâs just, Iâm so scared all the time. The school was always a place that made me feel safe, till nowâŠâ although your intentions behind those words werenât completely truthful, the statement wasnât that far off, âit was just worth a try asking you.â
Holding your gaze, you could almost see his heartstrings get tugged as his brows quivered in compassion, âI-⊠I do have something. If you didnât know, we just finished sweeping the victimâs living quarters, so if they havenât already been notified, your friends should be able to move back in by tomorrow, but we also found something, not there, but in proximity to the dump site, there was a knife with traces of the victimâs blood on it. Itâs in the lab right now as we speak, trying to decipher if there are any identifiable prints on it.âÂ
âOh my godâŠâ you felt goosebumps sting at every inch of your skin.Â
âYou havenât heard any details about what state his body was found in, have you?âÂ
âNoâŠâ both from avoiding the papers and keeping to your dorm, you might be the only student on campus not aware of how your late friend had died, âhe was stabbed?â
âThat was decisively what killed him, yeah, but he was brutally beaten before that.â
âHoly shit, thatâs-âŠâ you shuttered, your eyes just now noticing the nauseating photos pinned on the board beside you, âfuck⊠I donât know how you do this all day, deal with these kinds of things.âÂ
âIt gets easier over time,â he shared, his worried eyes scanning your face a moment before apprehensively uttering, âthis might be a really stupid question, but how are you holding up?â
âI-âŠâ you toyed with the thought of lying to him yet again, but then opted to share the truth, âI am not doing so good, to be honest. I could probably count the number of hours Iâve slept in the last few days on one hand, or so Iâve been told. I donât think it feels like Iâve slept at all, but apparently I have, just a little bit.â
Sucking in a pained breath, he murmured, âIâm sorry. I can help find someone you can talk to, if you want.â
âNo, itâs alright,â his kind offer made it easier for you to look away from the horror plastered all over the office walls, âI mean, Iâm not alone, that fact has become crystal clear throughout all of this.â
âYeah, I kinda pieced that together,â he spoke in a much different manner than before, causing your brows to crinkle, âI conducted all the other interviews. Itâs nice that youâve made friends, making the most out of your college experience,â he said in a tone, almost reminiscent of jealousy. Â
Averting your eyes, memories you so desperately tried to keep at bay pried their way in and snuffed out the fuming flicker his resentment had ignited, âhey Ari?â
âYeah?â
âDid you know?â you asked wearily.Â
âKnow what?â
âDid you know all of those years, growing up together?â you lifted your vision once more as he offered you a questioning hum, âdid you know that I was in love with you?â
Taken aback, it took a bit before he managed to answer, âno, I didnât.â
âWhy didnât you ever call me? You just left.âÂ
âI was getting married, Y/n. What was I supposed to do?âÂ
âNot fuck the girl you used to babysit,â you shot back coldly, âwhat even was I to you?â
âI-⊠I donât know,â his frustrated words came out breathy, âdo you think I planned for any of that to have happened? To sleep with you of all people? I didnât. But when I came home that summer and saw you again, saw who you had become, I donât know, everything just changed, you changed. I fully thought that youâd to still be that same little annoying brat you used to be, but you really werenât. I didnât expect it to happen, I didnât expect you to suddenly do something like that to me, have that kind of power over me!â
âSo, you just decided to break my heart instead? I was mad for you, for as long as I could remember. That summer was the happiest Iâd ever been and then you just up and left in the middle of the night without a word. Did you even think to imagine what it was like for me to run around that morning looking for you and instead finding an invitation for your wedding? I had to hear from your fucking parents that you had just come home to prepare things before the big day. You hadnât even mentioned to me once that you were engaged, or even as much as just in a relationship. Was any of it even real to you or was I just your last bit of fun before you got tied down?â
âIt was, Y/n,â he insisted sincerely, âit was the realest thing Iâve ever felt.â
âThen why did you go without as much as a goodbye? You know how much that broke me?â
âYeah, well you seem to be doing just fine now,â he said pettily.Â
âExcuse me? You donât get to say something like that to me. You were the one who broke my heart, you donât get to judge how I glued it back together. Just go back home to your wife, why donât you.â
Suddenly looking back at you in confusion, Ari then illuminated carefully, âY/n, Iâm not married.â
âWhat?â you blinked.Â
âI mean, I know you werenât there that day, but I thought my mom at least had told you,â the gears turning inside of him were nearly visible to the naked eye, âI couldnât go through with it.â
âWhat? Why?â
Biting his tongue as he held your eye, he then exhaled, âbecause I didnât think I should get married if I was in love with someone else.â
Sucking in a stunned breath, you saw tears cloud your vision, âb-but⊠you never even calledâŠâ
âI know I didnât,â he concurred heavily, his eyes unable to look away from your glossy ones. Feeling as if you might faint, you saw his woeful vision flicker down towards your lips, âIâm sorry, Y/n.âÂ
But just as you saw him slowly inch his face closer and closer to yours, a sharp intake of air stung your lungs as you raised a hand up as a barricade, âI canâtâŠâ too scared of history repeating itself, âwe canâtâŠâ
Sighing deeply, his eyes traced the tear that rolled down your cheek, âI knowâŠâ
You had just been helping the guys move back into the frat. That was all you had been doing. One moment you were all laughing, actually having a normal and pleasant moment for once, and the next, two officers were barging down the door and reading Lloyd his rights.Â
Youâd nearly lost it completely and Curtis had to hold you back so that you didnât go scratch one of the officerâs eyes out. The man in the cuffs however took it with style, only trying to break through your hazy to let you know that he would be fine and for the others to take care of you, after all, this wasnât his first rodeo down to the station, although those times it had only been for petty crimes like bar room brawls and such.Â
âBut I mean, how did it even happen?â you thought out loud a while later, the miranda rights still ringing in your ears like a triggering song you just couldnât get out of your head, âthatâs what my mind keeps going back to,â you had finally calmed down after what felt like forever of the guys talking out of marching down to the station to do something, anything to get Lloyd out. Completely powerless, you sat curled up at the end of the couch as words flowed from your exhausted lips, âhow could someone like him be killed? He was such a nice guy.âÂ
Not being able to stand it any longer, Curtis pipped up from the armchair on the other side of the living room, âno, he really wasnât,â your bolstering words about the deceased being too much for him to take without cracking, âhe was a rich creep and everyone knew it,â frustratingly, he gesticulated, âwith everything that he did to you, how can you just sit there and say that he was a nice person? The guy drugged you and violated you in your sleep for fuck sake!âÂ
The room went dead quiet as soon as those words left his lips.Â
ââŠwhat are you talking about?â your voice no higher than a whisper as you watched your burly friend shrink in regret. âCurtis,â you repeated more sternly this time as he didnât offer an explanation, âwhat do you mean? What did you do?â your voice broke as thoughts about if Lloydâs arrest hadnât been a misunderstanding after all entered your mind.Â
âYou canât tell her,â Frank shot a glare at the fighter, âwe had a deal.âÂ
âYeah, well that was before Lloyd got fucking arrested!â Jake chimed in, panic shining clear through in his tone, âsheâs a part of this, has been since the very beginning. She has a right to know.âÂ
Finding your wide eyes in the crowd, Curtis asked you wearily, âyou really wanna know what happened that night?â hugging your knees tighter to your chest, you gave him a small nod in confirmation, âfine, Iâll tell you.â
âŠ
âIs she okay?â Curtis pushed the ajar door open further to ask, haven, on his way to the bathroom,  caught sight of an out of breath Ransom tugging the covers back over your passed out form.Â
The head of the cashmere-clad man snapped up at the sign of company, the sudden alarm that began to bloom on his features was quickly drowned out by his usual arrogant air, âyeah, man,â he shot back defensively, rushing to get out of the room, âsheâs fine,â sounding like it had been a completely crazy question to ask.Â
Furrowed brow staying put, Curtis uttered slowly, âalright, but I think Iâm just gonna check myself, if you donât mind.â
âI said sheâs fine!â Ransom slammed the door shut behind him, prohibiting the man now only inches from him from entering, âjust go back to your own room!â
Worry and suspicion only growing at the obvious fibs, Curtis demanded, âwhat were you doing in there? What did you do?â
âWhat are you talking about?â he scoffed back.Â
âWhat did you do to her?â Curtis took a looming step closer just as their raised voices began to stir some of the other slumbering residents.
âI didnât do a thing,â he cockily dared a chuckle, âcalm down.â
âI will not fucking calm down,â Curtis barked back before attempting to call to you through the closed door, âangel, you okay?â
Leaning against the wall beside his own room, Jake rubbed the sleep out of his eyes as he groaned, âguys, can you not yell in the middle of the night? Some of us are kinda trying to sleep here.â
Frank, as well haven appeared, seemed a little more alert at the sudden commotion in the hallway, âhey, whatâs going on?â
âNothingâs going on,â their suspicious friend waved a hand, âCurtis is just being a little bitch and freaking out for no reason,â the ostentatious gesture granted the opposing man an opportunity to slip past and enter the room.
Nearly kicking the door down, Curtis rushed to your side, examining your unconscious form with worried eyes, âangel?â the dim lights streaming in from the hallway just barely letting him notice how wrinkled and haphazard the t-shirt heâd lent you just a few hours before was on you.Â
âJesus, just let her sleep, dude.â
Ignoring Ransomâs words of warning, Curtis tried once more, âY/n?â touching your skin lightly before giving you a gentle shake, âcome on, wake up for me, baby,â his heart nearly beat out of his chest as he unsuccessfully tried to stir you, the shallow rise and fall of your abdomen not granting him as much comfort as it should have.Â
Nearing the end of the hall, Frank asked once more, âwhatâs going on?â side-eyeing Ransom warily, âis she okay?â
âOf course sheâs okay,â the trust fund kid scoffed.
âThe fuck she is,â Curtisâ head whipped back in the direction of Ransomâs silhouette in the doorway. Getting back up on his feet, his sharp intakes of air causing his shoulders to rise, he stormed back out and demanded, âwhat did you do? Why were you in here and why the fuck is she not waking up?â
âDid you not see how much she had to drink tonight?â Ransom defensively gestured to your passed-out form on the narrow bed, âI was just checking up on her,â and with a heavy sigh abandoned the argument entirely and descended the stairs.Â
Catching Curtisâ arm just in time to stop him from storming down after the man at the centre of the quarrel, Frank tried to catch the darting eyes of his friend as he asked firmly, âCurtis, whatâs going on?â
âI saw him in there, hovering above her like a creep.â
Already worried eyes suddenly growing in alarm, âhe was in there?â Frank quickly shared a panicked look with Jake, both now sharing the same inkling of what horrible thing had occurred, âalone with her?â
âYes.â
âWait,â Frank gasped, âdid you say sheâs not waking up? She is still breathing though, isnât she?â
âYeah, sheâs just out cold. Why?â
âOh my godâŠâ Jake shuttered, his interrupted slumber now long forgotten.
âWhat? What is it? What arenât you guys telling me?â
Exhaling lowly, Frank carefully began to explain, âCurtis, you know that my sister goes to Bayshore, right?â
âUm, sure, yeah?â unsure as to why that fact was significant.
âWell, she told me about this student who overdosed after being drugged and raped. The guy was apparently caught and everything but just came from a wealthy enough family to not only never be convicted, but also keep the news out of the papers. Curtis, thatâs where Ransom transferred from.â
Seeing nothing but red, Curtis stormed down the stairs. On his determined path to the kitchen where the object for his bubbling rage now stood, leisurely sipping from a glass of water. Curtis narrowly caught sight of Lloyd as he finally stumbled through the entrance from his drawn-out merriment, uttering a hushed apology to the bulky frame of Steve on the couch for the way he had carelessly slammed the front door shut behind him.
Only rolling his eyes at the sight of Curtis, Ransom didnât even lower his glass as the fuming figure neared, âdude, I already told you, I didnât do a thing-â though the rest of his provoking words got squashed as Curtisâ fist suddenly collided with his jaw, swiftly grabbing onto his soft sweater before he could crumble like the shattered glass now scattered across the cool tile, âwhat the fuck!â  water splashing onto both of their feet.Â
âWhat did you give her?â Curtis barked, his fingers digging into the intricate, stained knit so hard that they threatened to poke through to the other side.Â
âGive who what?â appalled glare piercing as he fought against the hold.Â
âY/n!â he shook him heatedly, âwhat did you give her?â
âI didnât give her shit, man,â Ransom just managed to spit out before white knuckles collided with his face once more.Â
âDid you touch her? Because I swear to fuck, if you laid even as much as one finger on her, Iâm gonna-â
âOh, I see,â he actually dared to chuckle, a bit of crimson already staining the pearly whites he flashed, âyouâre jealous that you didnât get with her tonight.â
Landing another raging blow, Curtis yanked him in close and growled, âyou shut up and answer my question! Did you touch her?â
Scoffing through his laboured groans of agony, Ransom finally disclosed smugly, âof course, I did, man. Sheâs been all over me all night long, begging for me to give it to her good.â
The rest of the frat haven now clustered in the kitchen as well, staying in the periphery, Frank accused, âwhat did you give her? Was it the same as the girl you killed back at Bayshore?â
The deep-pocketed manâs eyes flickered over Curtisâ shoulder, bruises blooming and swelling up his vision, âexcuse me?âÂ
âThe rape victim that overdosed at your old school?â the bridge of Frankâs nose twitched in fury, âit was you that killed her, wasnât it?â
âI didnât do anything of the sort, all I did was show those girls a good time, itâs not my fault some canât keep up.â
âIs that what you think happened tonight?â Curtis hauled him against the fridge, gaining the manâs attention once more, âyou call assaulting Y/n a good fucking time?â
Keeping his head held high, Ransom slurred, âwhat are you ashamed youâre not man enough to rough your girl up a bit and give her what she really likes?â
Huffing like a bull, he uttered, âshe does not like it like that.â
âOh yeah? Then tell me why I had her moaning the way I did, dripping down on olâ Steveâs bed like a cheap whore. Kind of a shame that she wonât remember any of it in the morning, just hope I fucked her good enough that at least some part of her wonât forgetâŠâ
âŠ
âOh my godâŠâ you shuttered, unable to look any of them in the eye, âoh my god,â your palm shot up to clasp over your lips to choke the shaky cry that forced its way out, âI thought-âŠâ vision darting everywhere and nowhere at the same time, âI thought it had been a dream,â tears streamed down your ghostly face as the hazy nightmare suddenly came into focus, âoh my god! I-⊠I knew him,â you jaggedly tried to piece it all together as vile stung in the back of your throat, âhe was-, he was my friend. I hadnât known him that long, but he was my friend. I-⊠he wasnât just some dangerous stranger in the back of an ally threatening to kill me, he was my friend.â
âŠ
The incoherent screams of Curtis slowly subsisted as his rampant blows finally slowed down. Slowly backing up, chest heaving, horror took over his eyes as he saw how far he had been pushed, watching as blood bubbled out of Ransomâs mouth, guggling his words.
âJust you fucking wait till my family finds out,â he weakly continued his threats from his wrecked position on the tiled floor, âdo you have any idea how much power money gives you? I can squash you all like little bugs, ruin any chance you might have of a pathetic future and keep angel all to myself.â
Unable to look away, Steve suddenly uttered as Curtis shakily retreated into the shadows, ââŠguys, we have to call an ambulance.â
Whipping his head around, Jake protested, âno, donât!â ready to swat away any phone that might be raised, âheâs right. He has the upper hand no matter if we get him to a hospital or not.â
âSo, what do we do? Look at him,â Steve woefully gestured to the beaten playboy crumbled on the floor, âheâs dying. We canât just leave him here!â
âNoâŠâ Lloyd sighed, his demeanour seeming surprisingly calm and level-headed under the circumstance, âbut we can use what little time we have left before the sun comes up to our advantageâŠâÂ
âWhat the fuck are you talking about?â Frankâs brows furrowed frightfully.Â
In a wide arc around Ransomâs broken form, Lloyd made his way over to one of the kitchen counters and pulled open a drawer, âhe said it himself,â he exhaled lowly as he accepted his fate, âhe is more than capable of making not only angelâs life hell, but also all of ours,â his tone cold, he riffled through the utensils, âfrom where Iâm standing, thereâs only one way for us to get out of this with minimal casualties,â and fished out a knife, the steel reflecting in the low light seeping in through the other room.Â
âYou canât be fucking serious,â Steve gasped, âweâre not murdering him!âÂ
âSo youâd rather try and explain his corpse just lying here in our kitchen? This way we get the upper hand, we speed up the process and use the remainder of the night to our advantage till the rest of campus wakes up, hide him somewhere else, somewhere he wonât be found,â Lloyd stressed, âwe have to kill him, itâs the only way.âÂ
âShit dudeâŠâ Frank breathed, he and the rest realizing that he was right, âwhere would we even hide him?â
After only pondering it a second, Jake pipped up, âitâs trash day tomorrow,â tensely sharing glances with the rest, âif we get him to one of the big dumpsters on the other side of campus, drop him in there, no one will know! And even if they do eventually discover parts of him out on some dump, they wonât be able to get anything off of him anyways at that point.âÂ
âI-âŠâ Curtisâ shaky voice finally filled the room, guilt seeping through in his brassy timbre as he asked what no one else would, ââŠwhoâs gonna do it?âÂ
Not letting the others even consider that weight, Lloyd swiftly declared, âIâll do it.â
âWhat?â the trembling fighterâs eyes finally lifted.
âIf they actually do somehow manage to nail us for this, it should be me that goes down for it,â he stated deliberately, âalways knew Iâd go to prison at some point just like my old man, this way it wouldnât be for anything stupid.âÂ

Overtime 1
Warnings:Â this fic will include elements, some dark, such noncon/dubcon, and other untagged triggers. Please take this into account before proceeding. It is up to curate your online consumption safely.
Summary:Â your boss, Mr. Hansen, runs you ragged but you find solace in an unexpected friend.
Characters: Lloyd Hansen, Jake Jensen.
Authorâs Note:Â This one is dedicated to my dearest @thezombieprostitute
Please feel free to leave some feedback, reblog, and jump into my asks. Iâm always happy to discuss with you and riff on idea. As always, you are cherished and adored! Stay safe, be kind, and treat yourselfđ
The sudden gust and subsequent chaos across your desk has you reeling. You wheel back as you raise your hands defenslessly and watch everything scatter. Mr. Hansenâs jacket knocks over your fresh cup of coffee and your favourite ornament of a little ballerina kitten.Â
âMy office now, critter.âÂ
You wince again, this time because of the cruel name. You hate when he calls you that. You stand and pick up your bossâ jacket before it can get wet in the spilled coffee. You hang it on the rack in the corner beside your own and go back to sop up the mess with a wad of kleenex.Â
You have more down your tights and on your chair but it doesnât matter. At least time, it wasnât scalding tea. You gather up the rest of your things but leave them in an unsorted cluster. You know better than to keep him waiting.Â
As you flit around the desk, you notice a pair of watching eyes. You almost forgot about Jensen. He was so quiet messing with the printer that you didnât even notice him. He frowns as he sits up and shuts the drawer.Â
âYou alright?â He asks.Â
âAhem, yea, thanks,â you try to smile but these days, it just isnât easy.Â
He gives you a look. Sympathetic and something more. Youâre too embarrassed to worry about that. More so, youâre too afraid to make Mr. Hansen even angrier. Clearly something is wrong and the days only just begun.Â
You approach his open office door. Thatâs a clear signal that heâs been waiting. You enter as one of your flats slips off your heel and claps loudly. You cringe as he stands at the window, glowering at the courtyard below. You like the green square. You go there to eat your lunches. When you get one.
âTell me why my ex-wife insists on making me miserable?â He snarls.Â
He doesnât want an answer. When he asks you things, he never does. Itâs rhetorical. He often only speaks to hear himself and anyone else joining the conversation only gives him a target.Â
âI will get you your brown sugar espresso and croissant at once--âÂ
âFuck off!â He chops his hand in the air and faces you. âI didnât just call you in here for you to feed my like some pet. Come here.âÂ
He snaps his fingers and points to the chair across from his. You always hate the setup. The one behind his desk is tall and cushy and makes him look like a tyrannical king, whereas the one facing him is too low and made of the most uncomfortable acrylic. It doesnât even have armrests.Â
âTake notes.âÂ
You open up the notes app on your phone without hesitation. The smell of coffee wafter up from your stockings. You shift and focus on him.Â
âMelora, you ice cold cunt, itâs been two years since I left your dry ass. If you send your attorney to my house again, I will show up to yours with a crowbar. My dick feels good without frost bite, thank you very much. Your regretful ex-husband, Lloyd âFuck Youâ Hansen.â He snorts and shakes his head. âFucking bitch.â You keep typing and he shakes his index at you, ânot that part. Fuck. Oh, can you add the sick face emoji before you format that? Thanks, critter.âÂ
You hit save and stand up, âwould you like your coffee now?âÂ
âUh, sure, whatever. Make sure itâs hot. Oh, and you know what, I want that as a PDF before you forward it over to the former Mrs. Hansen. With letterhead.âÂ
He shoos you and you gladly take the dismissal. You never were one for arguing and never dared to say a single spare word to your boss. You assume thatâs why he keeps you around. Youâre no extraordinary assistant, just obedient.Â
The tasks he gives you might not all be professional but as long as you get them done, you donât get any trouble. You stride back out to your desk and stop short. Your things are all back where they belong and dry. Your cup is clean and rinsed out.Â
Who did that?Â
âHey, uh, what kinda coffee do you take?â Jensen surprises you as he appears from around the corner.Â
âJake, uh I mean, Mr. Jensen, did you do all this?âÂ
âHa, no one calls me mister but you,â he chuckles. âDonât worry about it. Took like six seconds. I was just thinking, Iâm going to make a run down to The Grind and maybe I could get you something fresh.âÂ
âOh, thatâs so sweet. I... no, please donât waste your time,â you wring your hands, your chewed up nails aching from your nervous habit. âI gotta go get Mr. Hansenâs breakfast.âÂ
âRight,â he looks down and fixes his glasses, âwell, I fixed that thing.â He nods to the printer, âshouldnât eat anymore paper. I hope. You know, every tech bootcamp Iâve gone through and they never teach you about printers. I swear, they defy the laws of the universe.âÂ
You show your teeth in a half-smile. Thatâs silly. He grins proudly.Â
âI didnât mention, I... like that bow in your hair. Itâs cute. Matches your little kitty.âÂ
You peek down at the figurine of the calico doing a pirouette. You blush. You only wish you were that dainty. You feel gawkish with the way you seem to loom over everyone else, yet somehow feel tiny at the same time.Â
âThanks. Thatâs... please donât feel sorry for me. Heâs not that bad and itâs my job,â you shrug.Â
âFeel sorry? No, Iâm just... being nice. Well, maybe another time. For the coffee,â he says. âUnless, I could go with you on your run?âÂ
âUh, thatâs-- youâre busy. Mr. Hansen only like Estherâs.âÂ
âEstherâs?â He exclaims as his eyes bulge behind his frameless lenses, âthatâs all the way across town.âÂ
âI know some shortcuts,â you assure him as you bend to retrieve your purse from under your desk and drop your phone in. âAnyway, thanks for fixing the printer. I gotta go before he catches me dawdling.âÂ
âRight. Guess I should get to accounting. Guess they had a server crash and some stuff got lost. See ya round.âÂ
âSure,â you agree. You donât see too many people around. They avoid Hansen and more often, youâre running around at his beck and call.Â

hear me out ok the 5 cevens characters working together to fluster bunny. like randomly one morning she wakes up and she's getting it from all sides. poor bunny is teased to tears before ransom or jensen finally take some sympathy on her and let her cockwarm them while hiding her embarrassed teary eyes <3
Oh God I am melting becauseee-
Warning(s): Somnophilia (consensual), dacryphilia, gangbang, corruption kink, p-in-v, blow job, anal, boob fucking, handjob, degredation, cockwarming.
Bunny is confused at first, (the innocence of which drives Lloyd mad), then turned on but then soon overwhelmed due to how much of a sensitive Princess she is.Â
Daddies had discussed this with her a couple weeks ago with a mutual agreement that whenever it happens it will be a surprise because Bunny always has her safe word anyways.
"Hnnng~" her plugged mouth vibrates against Lloyd's cock as Ari stretches her unsuspecting and very tight pussy with a capital S.Â
She's basically hanging between the huge men and being held up solely by their cocks like one of those hentais.Â
Andy is grunting behind her as he wraps her hair around his fist and pushes his fat dick between her plump ass cheeks and up her much lubed pucker.Â
Jensen is still praising her for being so brave as he guides her smaller hand around his girth, free hand stroking her hair which was the only consolation with all the violation going on.Â
"Dirty little horn Bunny" Ari snickers from his spot as he feels her move around him. "Half asleep but still moaning and clenching around our cocks while we fuck her dumb."
Lloyd hisses as he enters her throat from his spot besides her since Ransom is thrusting between her tits.
The dark haired man grunts and curses at the sight before him as he rocks his hips against her chest, holding both of Bunny's tits together while she hangs propped up by all their cocks, panting through her nostrils.Â
She's spread out and filled to all her brims like a lifeless fuck doll, lazy eyes scanning her surroundings through her still droopy eyelids.Â
It goes on for hours.Â
Some daddies even change positions.Â
Touching, teaching, fucking, degradation and praise which is just Jensen building her up for the other daddies (and him) to crush back down.Â
Bunny is a whining and crying gurgling mess by the end of it, covered in cum and tears as she trembles on her hands and knees, their juices leaking out of all her holes.
"Aw, would you look at this leaking little breeding bunny" Jensen chuckles darkly as the other Daddies enjoy the sight.
Bunny ducks her head as this rare side of Jensen makes her feel even more vulnerable, exposed and small, if it were even possible after all that.
Ransom chuckles to himself when her bottom lip wobbles and eyes tear up.Â
"But she's a good breeding bunny, isn't that right?" His fingers slip through her sweaty hair as he comfortingly caresses it.Â
Bunny peaks up at him only through her lashes and murmurs out a weak and broken 'yes Daddy'.
"Look at how small and pathetic she is. Nothing but a fine set of tight little holes" Lloyd's spank is cruel as it nearly echoes in the room.Â
Bunny whimpers into Ransom's hand again and that is when he finally takes mercy at the fucked out sight.Â
"Little Bunny can't take any more, huh? Needs Daddy to protect and take care of her?" She vigorously nods, feeling the gazes of the other Daddies almost cut her skin.
Ransom's chest swells with pride and authority when he sits on her Princess Bunny bed and pats his thigh.Â
The girl obediently crawls into it before nuzzling her red face in his broad chest.Â
The male positions his cock against her much well lubricated entrance before gripping her hips and lowering her down on it.Â
Bunny moans and whimpers, tightening her arms around him as she clenches in defense before eventually adjusting to Ransom's thick and veiny girth, feeling him just under organs.Â
It's not long before she's snoring against his chest, exhausted from the erotic episode.
Ransom continues to rock them back and forth slowly, caressing her back as he presses a reassuring kiss to the top of her head every now and then.Â
The other Daddies leave but not before Ari makes the remark that she's just like a fuck doll, being turned on to serve her purpose and then going right back to idle mode when her batteries run out.Â
Andy, Lloyd and Jensen snicker as they follow the giant out of the room.
Maybe they will wake her the same way later.Â
With their little slut Bunny, the possibilities are endless.

Hiiii! Having a bit time and still a lot wips but I also really enjoy drabbles. Plus, sometimes they inspire more than just a little bit.
So, while I still write my wips, I open my requests for Drabbles. Below I will add some prompt lists you can choose from. Feel free to add a little scenario if you want to.
I will write fluff, hurt/comfort and dark, as well as smut. But if it doesnât inspire that, I will not pressure me into writing anything smutty. I reserve the right to delete the ask if it makes me uncomfortable.
Characters I write for: Bucky Barnes, Steve Rogers, Stucky, Stucky x Reader, Max Burnett, Steve Kemp, Lee Bodecker, Nick Fowler, Ari Levinson, Lloyd Hansen, Ransom Drysdale. Also I think about writing for Jake Jensen and Peter Parker (Tom, cause he looks fine.)
(Bit inspired by @navybrat817 and @elixirfromthestars)

Imagine this:
accountant!reader x IT tech!Jensen x manager!Andy x CEO!Lloyd
The intent was to write something short and sweet but smutty. The result is approximately 2200 words with a ton of smut! I blame Lloyd.
Warnings: Power dynamics; Creepy boss; Smut, smut, SMUT! Minors DNI!!!!
âThank you, Jake,â you half whisper, half moan into his ear. âI really needed this.â Youâre not normally one for hookups in the supply closets but youâd had such a stressful day you really needed to let off some steam. Thankfully Jake was always happy to help you out. And he was very good at helping you feel good.Â
The two of you had a friends-with-benefits situation that had been carefully negotiated and navigated. Sometimes you got the sense that Jake wanted more and thatâs why he was so eager to please. But you were both quick to talk if either of you felt things were getting too serious. It definitely made office parties a lot more fun. Everyone else was enjoying the cheap food and you and Jake got to go to a private office and actually take your time together.
You both do try to be careful at the office but your manager, Andy, has been really ramping up the sad sack shtick with all the women in your department, desperate for a date or some feminine attention and pity. You could only take so much, especially when your coworkers pointed out to him that youâre single. Traitors.Â
Every day he would ask you about your plans. You tried being polite and got nowhere. You finally told him, directly, that you werenât interested in him last Friday. Today you were called into a meeting with HR about âappropriate workplace behaviorâ. They told you theyâd received complaints from your manager about flirting with him despite him telling you ânoâ. You smiled tightly and nodded, staying quiet and signing the documents saying youâd been talked to.Â
You texted Jake on your phone to meet you in the hall closet. One of the things you appreciated? He didnât ask questions, he just showed up and gave you what you needed. He really seemed to like it when you would repeatedly whisper âthank youâsâ into his ear. Itâs only a quickie but it definitely helps. You kiss Jakeâs cheek and thank him as he blushes. You leave at different times and head back to your respective desks.
You check your email and find yourself looking at an appointment with Lloyd Hansen, the companyâs CEO. Thinking it mustâve been in error you hit the âDeclineâ button and add the most polite note that you can think of. Just a few minutes after you get yet another appointment notice with Mr. Hansen. No explanatory note. Youâre extra grateful to Jake because your brain immediately jumps to Andy complaining about you to Mr. Hansen because your HR visit wasnât enough of a punishment.Â
The appointment is for tomorrow so you silently stew for the rest of the workday. At home you treat yourself to your favorite meal and shows. Your sleep is full of stressful dreams and you wake up more exhausted than when you went to bed. Not wanting to look like a mess in front of Mr. Hansen, you make sure to take extra care of your makeup and clothing choices. Working as hard as your caffeine deprived can to balance âIâm okayâ with âIâm not trying to flirt with anyoneâ. Itâs never an easy task.
As you log on to your computer you smell Andyâs cologne and internally wince. You turn to face him, âyes, Mr. Barber?â
âEasy there, tiger,â he chastised. âI just want to make sure that youâre doing okay after that HR meeting.â
Gritting your teeth you reply, âwhy wouldnât I be?â
âWell I know a lot of people can have a kind of whiplash when they realize their behavior isnât acceptable,â he explains in an obviously condescending tone. âIâll understand if you want to take some vacation time.â
âMr. Barber,â you seethe, âI think what would help me the most is keeping some distance between us at all times in the office.â
âOkay,â he scoffs. âJust remember who it is that HR listens to.â He walks away and you find yourself trying to not throw or break something.Â
As soon as you can you head straight to Mr. Hansenâs office. His secretary lets you in, though he is not yet in. You should probably be upset that heâs late for the meeting he insisted on having with you but itâs better than sitting in your cubicle waiting for Andy to strike.Â
The quiet is broken by Mr. Hansen storming into the office, yelling at someone on the phone. You recognize him immediately if only because of the mustache. âAnd I told you to handle it, Six! Get your head out of your ass and fix it!â He lets out a small huff as he listens to the person on the phone. âI donât give a shit. It shouldâve been handled weeks ago. Now, if youâll excuse me, Iâve got a meeting.â He hangs up without waiting for a response and turns to you with a smile that makes you feel like prey caught in a trap.
âSo youâre the girl Barber was complaining out,â he starts. Youâre unable to hold back your grimace and he laughs. âDonât worry, sweetheart, I donât give a shit about that cuck.â You tilt your head in confusion. âSee, he tried to play up the whole âwomen donât know how to take a complimentâ thing but I was able to see through him. Heâs pathetic and you werenât having it. Even flat out told him, ânoâ. Thatâs something I respect. Not everyone would do that to their boss.â
He sits down in his chair and continues, âso I started looking into you and imagine my surprise when I find out you and Jensen are hooking up!â Your eyes widen in shock and you start stammering before he holds out a hand, gesturing for you to stop. âYouâre not in trouble for that. Hell if I could get laid instead of attending those lame work parties I absolutely would. Which is why I brought you here.âÂ
He leans his elbows on the desk, âI want in on whatever fuck-buddy deal you and Jensen got going on.â
âS..sir, I,â youâre at a loss for words.Â
âTell you what,â he slaps the desk and stands up, âIâll make it easy for you. Either you agree to be my own fuck-buddy, occasionally still get some good stuff from Jensen, or Iâll make you Barberâs personal secretary.â
âWhat if I quit instead?â
âThen Iâll go ahead and fire Jensen,â he quips. âIt would be a damn shame, though. Jakey is one of the best IT guys we got. Likely up for a promotion that would get him a private office.â
âCan I talk to Jake first,â you plead. âIt is part of our arrangement that we communicate changes before theyâre implemented.â
âYou know what, sure. I can respect that a deal is a deal.â He goes to the phone on his desk and tells his secretary to send Jake up.
When Jake does arrive heâs shocked to see you. At Lloydâs gesture he closes the door behind him. Lloyd doesnât let you speak and lays everything out for him like he did you.Â
Jake looks at you, âitâsâŠummâŠI appreciate you looking out for me and my job,â he starts. âBut itâs also your body and I would never want you to accept something like this just for me.â
âYou know, Jakey here has a point,â Lloyd interjects. âYou really donât know what youâre in for with me. How about a demonstration? Iâll even let Jake join in to help keep you comfortable.â
Knowing that you were being watched shouldnât excite you so much. The fact that both of these men wanted you was making you wet. You straddle Jake in his chair and start making out with him while taking off your clothes and grinding your hips against his crotch.Â
Jake moans as he takes off your bra with practiced ease, âyouâre sure about this?âÂ
âFeel how wet I am, Jake.â He obliges and sticks his fingers inside your panties. He rubs your clit and you arch your breasts into his face as his eyes widen at the wetness he finds there.Â
âHoly shit,â he breathes. He gets a dark glint in his eye that you donât entirely recognize. He removes his hand and starts to unbutton your pants. âYou gotta taste her, Mr. Hansen. Sweetest pussy and itâs already drenched.â
You hadnât realized Lloyd was standing behind you until he grabbed your breasts, lifting you a little as he nibbled your neck. He pulls you off of Jake and the two of them finish undressing you before setting you on Lloydâs desk. Youâre on your back, your head hanging over one side, your legs spread wide for the both of them.Â
Lloyd doesnât hesitate and dives tongue first into your pussy. Your reaction is immediate as he uses his mustache to tickle your clit. You throw your head back and moan before youâre able to stifle it.Â
He pulls away from you, âdonât worry about noise, sweetheart. My secretary is gone for the afternoon and no one else would dare be on this floor.â He turns to Jake, âyou were right! This is a damn tasty snack.â He gets back to it and you donât hold back your sounds. It was such a relief to get to be as loud as you wanted.Â
âFuck, I love those sounds,â Jake groans.
You reach out to him, âyour cock, Jake? Please, can I stroke your cock?â
âLove those sounds, too,â he grins as he undoes his belt. You look to Lloyd to see if he has any objections but heâs too focused on licking up all of your juices. Jake is already half hard and your hands know just how to get him fully erect. His hands start playing with your tits, gently pinching, pulling and fondling.Â
The two of them quickly bring you to the brink of orgasm, then Lloyd sticks two of his fingers inside you and it pushes you over the edge. You cum loudly and Lloyd keeps scissoring his fingers while sucking on your clit, enjoying the show. When the aftershocks fade, he removes his hand and backs away just a little.
âJensen, you take her mouth,â he orders. âIâm gonna make a mess of this pussy and I want to hear her choking on your cock while I do.â
You let go of Jakeâs erection and he starts pushing himself into your mouth, grunting and moaning as he does so. Heâs careful with you, like always, and places your hand on his thigh so you can signal if it gets too much.
Lloyd, however, lines himself up with your opening and quickly thrusts himself fully inside. If your mouth wasnât so full of Jakeâs cock, youâd likely have screamed. They fucked both of your holes with abandon and you were loving every second of it. Occasionally Jake would ask for a status and youâd tap his thigh twice for âall goodâ.Â
âNot gonna last much longer,â Lloyd admitted. âThis pussy is so fucking tight. I see why you risked your job for her.â He started rubbing your clit and you careened towards another orgasm. As soon as Jake came in your mouth you were done for. You tightened your legs around Lloyd as you came hard and swallowed all of Jakeâs spend. You heard Lloyd mumbling, âfuck, fuck, fuck,â before he came with a yell.Â
Youâre still in a daze as both men pull out of you. Lloyd whistles, ânow thatâs a pretty picture. What say we get you cleaned up?â
âWhat the fuck?!â A voice from the office door crashes your post-orgasm euphoria. You look up and see Andy, standing in the doorway.
âAh, Barber,â Lloyd says as he zips his pants back up. âRight on time.â
âWhat?!â Jake exclaims as you look, wide-eyed, at Lloyd.Â
âYou see, Andy,â he walks over to your manager and claps him on the shoulder. âYouâre a complete cuck and we both know it.â Andy tries to protest but Lloyd cuts him off. âThis is the closest youâre ever going to get to some pussy. Now be a good boy and clean up the mess I made.â He throws Andy to his knees in front of your spread pussy.Â
Andy groans at the sight and you feel a stir of courage. âWell,â you scold. âAre you going to be a good boy and do as you're told or am I going to have to clean myself up?â His eyes darken but you donât back down. He dives into your cum filled pussy and starts cleaning you up.
âGood boy,â Lloyd smirks. âProbably the only way you can actually please a woman.â He looks at Jake, âwhenever youâre done with her, call her cuck over to clean up. Sound good?â
Jake looks to you and sees you writhing with pleasure, âI think so.â

What are you thoughts on the Cevans characters (+ Bucky hehe) on giving & receiving oral? Whoâs more into what, like which role do they prefer. Are any of them not into it at all? Do any of them like it more than actual sex?
Your takes on the Cevans characters are always so accurate đ„°đ Luv your blog <3
Ohhhhhh nessie. So spicy. So đđ€. Let's GO!
Warnings for, yeah, discussion of oral (both m and f receiving) with some references to other sexual acts for comparison, etc. We got there this time, gang, like all the way to hell...
Andy Barber
Into both but not his fave. Since Andy wasn't originally in my list of characters (and thus never got a favorite sex position), I'll tell you now that Mr. Barber is more of a face-to-face and hands-on lover. He enjoys a blowjob, sure, and he's by no means against going down on you, but his hands like to grope and wander more than those allow.
Ari Levinson
Really into both. Wow, just, really really into both. Can't say he enjoys it "more" than actual sex, but ohhh fuck it's close. Ari is a roar-as-he-comes-down-your-throat type of guy. He definitely is sloppy on you, not afraid to soak his beard before you even peak. I stand by my headcanon that Ari doesn't like his hair pulled though. He understands it'll happen sometimes, but he will move if you keep tugging hard. Much happier if you leave scratches across his shoulders instead.
Also, Ari strikes me as a man who would enjoy road head or pull over to go down on you if he's horny or bored or just because. I don't have a reason for that, but it's true. The end.
Curtis Everett
He's a giver 100%. Curtis isn't *against* getting a blowjob, but he can't enjoy it much if you aren't really into giving, too.
Maybe TMI, idk, but I also get the impression that Curtis really adds a lot of his tongue thrusting into you during the act. No reasoning, just vibes. He wants to actually fuck you with his face.
Jake Jensen
Whiny and needs practice but he appreciates both ways. Jake needs you to verbally tell him what to do and what feels good, so for a while at least, some of the fun is taken away from that. He also needs the practice not blowing his load about 30 seconds after your lips get on him. That visual--you kneeling or bent over trying to fit him in your mouth--just...does him in so fast.
Jimmy Dobyne
Nope, not really. Surprisingly, he has the skill to make you come without having to do it a lot, but Jimmy still crawls up under your skirt rarely. It's like The Best present when he does. Like, who the fuck did he practice this on to the point of expertise??? Makes no sense, but I'm telling you, Jimmy is the secret munch of the bunch. He'll let you go down on him, but he won't be the one to suggest it. That's purely up to you.
Johnny Storm
Eh--little here, little there. He enjoys the riskiness of oral in semi-public places more than p-in-v sex. Johnny is DTF always...mostly, so nothing is off the table...and he's fine being on the table, just for reference.
Lloyd Hansen
Lloyd is more of a receiver and a giant tease for going down on you. He talks a good game, and you'd think with the mustache that he's practically been groomed to be sat on. However, Lloyd likes to be smug as hell, telling you he'll take care of you but he just needs to unwind after his day. He doesn't really intend to put in much effort because Lloyd is good enough with his fingers and dick. He gets away with avoiding it.
James Mace
Similar to Andy for different reasons: he's into both but neither is his fave. Mace likes a lot of things a little bit. Every position is on rotation. He doesn't want you to get bored, or worse, to be boring, so Mace plays around constantly. Yes, you two still fuck in the bedroom 'the most,' but that's not from lack of other variety.
Ransom Drysdale
Mostly a receiver but in a less controlling way than Lloyd. He uses his tongue as torture on you, i.e. Ran has no intention of bringing you to climax and he wants for you to beg. He wants you to prefer fucking him. Ransom is too lazy for this to be a regular thing he has to do.
Now, again, don't ask me why but I truly believe Ran gets a kick out of choking you on his dick. There's a distinction here, though, because Lloyd enjoys watching you struggle to take him in your mouth while Ransom purposefully thrusts to choke you. It's not prolonged. It's just a kink he likes.
Steve Rogers
Will eat you out at the drop of a hat but thinks a blowjob is degrading to you. Steve has a very traditional notion of respect for the people he loves...and, no, he doesn't see the hypocrisy in that. His excuse is that he likes his mouth all over you, down there no different than anywhere else đ€·đ»ââïž.
Bucky Barnes
Oh, fuck yeah.
What's there to expand on? Bucky 100% loves to watch you worship his body and loves to worship yours. This dude may have some social and professional hangups, but sex hasn't changed much since the '30s. Anatomy (more or less) is anatomy, and at least all of his romance bits are the same.
Does he prefer giving or receiving? It's pretty equal. You both go gaga over the other dressing up fancy...or dressing down...or when you're dressing...or, ya know, not dressed. Basically, it's just a 'yes.'
Thank you for asking!

Steve starts his day the same way, always, before and after youâve made yourself a place in their lives. Each morning, he wakes up early, makes himself a cup of coffee and reads the paper while sipping at his morning joe â itâs the only time he can feel an ounce of normalcy and savours every peaceful second. Ever since youâve willed yourself to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for him and his team, Steve has been there to see your efforts from the table. Sometimes itâs hard watching you milling about the kitchen from over his morning paper and the lip of his mug but it was also very heartwarming, knowing that he and his team were being taken care of for once. You dance about the area as if youâve always lived there, and as if itâs completely natural for you to cook such a large breakfast each morning. The first day, you were happy to express your love for cooking if only to comfort his self-reproach.
âI love cooking and your kitchen is so beautiful; itâs a joy to cook in it!â Steve remembers your upturned lips and smiling eyes vividly, âIâve always been familiar with kitchens, and I love to cook because it's such a comfort for me; please donât look so troubled,â your soft words eased his nerves effortlessly, a rare occurrence for the Captain. Usually, he was kept highly strung from the responsibilities of keeping his teammates safe and their missions on track. Your calming presence was something he dared not complain about. Even your delicately hummed tunes were appreciated. Steve canât remember the last time heâs had such a calm morning. For the first time in a long time, he was allowed to sip on a delicious cup of coffee and read his paper in peaceful silence without having to remain alert for when he urgently needed to rush somewhere with his men.
Judging by how youâre still preparing the breakfast ingredients, Steve expects he still has plenty of time before the rest of the men wake up and make their way downstairs; he plans on savouring every second of it. But he was mistaken at the sound of footsteps walking down the first-floor hallway and eventually down the stairs. From the general area where the footsteps originate, Steve reckons itâll be Ransom.
The captain was soon proven right when his charming mercenary teammate emerged from the stairway and made a beeline straight for you. Steve smiles into his mug as he watches your morning exchange.
âGood morning, sweets,â Ransom softly whispers into your hair as he pulls you close by the waist. You happily return his embrace and kindly offer him a cup of coffee but Ransom declines with a shake of his head, âIâll help you with breakfast,â
âOh Ran, thatâs so kind of you,â the merc glows at your praise and leans into your touch when you reach up to comb your fingers through his sleep-mused hair. Steve raises a brow. Peculiar. Ransom barely leaves his room without making sure he looks a little presentable, heâs particular like that. The only other person with a similar habit was Lloyd, however, the assassin was much more diligent. It was peculiar that Ransom, someone who often obsessed over his appearance, was coming to you with his hair barely combed, face unclean and still in his wrinkled pyjamas. The fact that he offered to help you prepare breakfast was even more astounding.
âSoâŠmay I?â Ransom asks against the skin of your knuckles after bringing your small hand down from his hair to kiss.
âIâd really appreciate that, thank you!â you chirp happily and Steve fondly watches as his Beta makes himself useful in an environment he doesnât usually associate himself with. It was amusing to see him trailing behind you and obediently complying to your instructions, a similar image to the night before but Steve still canât believe his eyes. The captain doesnât know what youâve done but he appreciates the positive change itâs had on the usually arrogant Beta.
With Ransomâs help, you were already setting up the table long before the others came down for breakfast and joined Steve in appreciating a mug of coffee while sat together. Todayâs morning spread was an assortment of freshly cut fruits, buttered toast with a side of jams, egg, ham and cheese breakfast muffins, crispy bacon, tomato and cream cheese bagels, and coffee and tea. Everyone was free to assemble their own plates for breakfast and you were open to any suggestions they may have for future spreads. You liked offering a consistent breakfast but also enjoyed switching some items every now and then, today you added the egg, ham and cheese breakfast muffins. Steve thought they smelled amazing and eagerly awaited the othersâ arrival so he could finally have a piece.
âIâve been meaning to ask but are your newspapers tele-delivered, Steve?â you ask after placing the teapot at the table for everyoneâs reach. You make a mental note of knitting a tea cosy for it later.
âYes, it makes life much easier,â he answers, careful not to show his shock at your casual question. Thereâs a rumbling of footfalls travelling down the staircase and he finally sets aside his paper. He prepares to finally eat with everyone despite his distracted mind.
You greet everyone a good morning as they take their usual seats before returning to your conversation with Steve, âIt really is convenient. And I appreciate that you have groceries tele-delivered straight to your cool storage too. Magic is so helpful, itâs as if you never run out,â you giggle and smile at Jake who eagerly starts chatting about the magi-tech such conveniences require. You speak of the technology with Jake easily, adding to the tech geniusâ excitement more. Jake has never had anyone other than Ari to speak to about his tech before and even Ari doesnât indulge him as much as you do. Even now, the breaded man smirks at the way Jake interacts with you â heâs happy their Beta finally has someone to talk extensively with; heâs always felt quite guilty for not accommodating his comradeâs interests more in the past.
You converse with Jake easily on the topic and even bring up magi-tech knowledge that the average person typically doesnât know about. It was all well and good but it was veryâŠÂ suspicious.
Andy makes eye contact with Steve as they reach for a breakfast muffin together. In their periphery, everyone else seems to have picked up on the notion too. Thereâs a touch of conjecture in everyoneâs eyes except Jakeâs, who happily kept rambling on with you. Curtis is as stoic as ever despite his inner turmoil and Ari hardens his features. Only Ransom seems to be in denial and conflicted at the implications of your knowledge. He remembers your level of expertise the day before and struggles with himself as the rest of the team silently continues eating.
You shouldnât know about topics like this. Tele-delivery is a privilege exclusive to noble families and highly decorated merchants who sell the service.
Steve doesnât want to be suspicious of you but you werenât giving him much of a choice. You look like an ordinary girl, although much lovelier and sweeter than the ones heâs met so far, that didnât mean you came from a noble or merchant family, right? Women born to those families are usually married off by your age⊠but how old were you? Slowly, Steve was beginning to realise just how little they know of you and it seems everyone was coming to the same realisation also.
Looking about the table, thereâs a silent agreement that this topic not be brought up in front of you to keep you blissfully unaware. Steve doesnât want to believe youâre an unsavoury character, nobody else does but theyâre all conflicted. If you were going to harm them, you would have already done so by now, youâve had plenty of chances already. You could have attacked them in their sleep or one by one when Curtis was escorting you and while Ransom was home alone with you the day before.
âJake, why donât you stay home today?â Ari cuts in, catching everyoneâs attention and Steveâs alarmed stare. Ari will always be a deviating factor. Heâs a team player but when it comes to the topic of you, heâs shown clear favouritism and a determination to keep you close. Although this was going against their plans the night before, Steve still trusts Ari. He needs to trust Ari. Theyâve all been together for several years now and the trust they have for each other is impossible to break. Steve has never been led astray by trusting in his comradesâ intuition so, despite the growing suspicions surrounding you, he doesnât protest and succumbs to observing what may happen.
What was Ari planning?
âMe? How come?â Jake asks, oblivious to what had just transpired within the team. Instinctively, he meets eyes with Steve, their Captain, asking for silent approval of the change. Steve gives an accepting nod.
âI need you to feedback on information from your library of books,â Jake immediately lights up and nods so eagerly that his teammates worried his head would detach from his neck.
âOh! Sure! Thatâs a really good plan, Ari,â the broad-shouldered alpha smiles beneath his heavy beard, always an appreciator of his Betaâs laid-back approach. He claps the tech genius on the shoulder and shares a meaningful look with him, both already understanding their plans.
âIâll be counting on you then,â
âWhatâs this about, Ari?â Steve searches the lumbering manâs eyes for a clue but is met with a soft, relaxed assurance translated into a lazy stare.
âJake has an extensive library on magi-tech and artefacts that would be useful to have while Iâm in the field. Itâll be easy to narrow down our search if he has access to the info here. Maybe we can find what weâre looking for much quicker if we do,â
After a long pause, Steve nods, âVery well, if you believe thatâs whatâs best,â Ari grins but doesnât escape Steveâs suddenly sharp, narrowed eyes, âIâm trusting you, Ari,â
âOf course, Captain,â Ari nods, voice firm and expression suddenly more serious. That was confirmation enough for Steve to ignore Lloydâs grumblings. It also seemed to be the perfect assurance for Curtis and Ransom, who had, undoubtedly, become entranced by you from the time youâve spent together.
đĄŒ.đ€Łđ„§đĄŒ.đ€Łđ„§
As always, Steve is the first out with his packed lunch and you deliver his kiss on the cheek as sweetly as ever. In that brief moment, Steve allows himself to forget his suspicions of you, reasoning that acting normal was the best step forward to keep you oblivious to their growing wariness. It was worrying, however, how little he cared for the deep affection he was fostering for you.
âHave a good day, Steve. Please stay safe,â Youâre too irresistibly precious that, although Steve knows itâs in his best interest to maintain his guard, heâs desperately hoping that you arenât guilty of willfully deceiving them.
âAnd you as well,â the captain utters ever so softly, only for you to hear. His soft blue eyes linger on you for a moment before briefly glancing back at his teamâs tech genius. âLook after Jake while weâre gone, okay?â
With a giggle, you nod, âAye-Aye Captain!â it was a playful saying but you made it look and sound so adorable. You even teasingly saluted him. It wasnât Steveâs fault that he couldnât resist kissing your forehead as he left through the door.
Next up was Andy, whoâs grown the habit of kissing your knuckles first before leaning in to savour his kiss on the cheek. âTake care, Andy,â
âThank you, sweetheart,â thereâs an emotion that flashes in the neat manâs azure eyes, one that you canât quite place as he allows his stare to delicately float over you. He regrettably ignores your adorable and curious head tilt to finally head out whilst adjusting his cuffs. Try as he might, Andy canât feel anything suspicious about you. In his many interrogations of guilty targets, he has never seen such incorrupt eyes. You have secrets but that didnât mean you meant them any harm â that was his conclusion.
Ransom is the third up, pushing past Curtis, Ari and Lloyd, leaving the latter openly grumbling to himself whilst glaring at the groupâs machiavellian Beta. Rather than lean down for a kiss, Ransom holds your face in both of his hands and searches your innocuously bewildered expression.
âRanâ?â you voice but he presses your cheeks together, puffing out your lips in a way that makes your spoken words incoherent. His eyes are narrowed into a judging expression but thereâs no malice in his stare. In all of his work as the groupâs covert agent, heâs never been more perplexed by a person. Youâre too unguarded and virtuous to deal any real harm to them and he can tell you donât have ill intentions just by the look in your eyes soâŠwhy does the mystery surrounding your identity irk him so much?
âSorryâŠâ Ransom frivolously bats away the grumbling complaints of his teammates as they grow impatient behind him. Youâve brought your hands up to hold onto his wrists as he slowly eases the pressure mushing your cheeks together.
âIâll see you soon, Ran, please be safe,â
NoâŠThereâs no way youâre dangerous â not when youâre smiling up at him like that.
Ransom is tempted to kiss your sweet lips but refrains at the last moment, your lips brushing against each other as he swiftly moves to kiss your cheek instead. He silently leaves your flustered state with a hidden smirk. Aghast by the display, Ari rushes forward and guides your eyes to meet his by tilting your chin up with his fingers.
âYouâre not kissing him before me, are you, beautiful girl?â Ari almost growls in annoyance. He loves his teammates but heâs grown a slight possessiveness over you and the idea of being the first to embrace your pretty lips. Itâs unhealthy, he knows it, especially when heâs been aiming to form an official pack so he forces himself to calm down. He controls his breathing and tempers his gaze but keeps your chin tilted toward him.
âDonât be silly AriâŠâ you look to the side in embarrassment, âeveryone gets a kiss,â the implications of your innocent words arenât lost on him and, although his mind starts racing with flashing images, Ari chuckles lightheartedly at the prospect.
âYouâre always so fair, darlinâ...â he begins to lean down and aims straight for your lip as his words become a whisper, âI love that so much about you,â
âOi!â Ari gets shoved aside just as his lips brush against yours but is too slow in securing the embrace. In his place, Lloyd stands, huffing and puffing.
âThis isnât some fairy tale princess kissing her prince type shit. We need to fuck off to work so stop holding up the line!â Lloyd glares as Ari simply laughs at him, not a trace of annoyance on his features despite the rude interruption.
âLloydââ Your sweet call of his name immediately steals Lloydâs attention and everyone watches his figure bend down to accommodate your short height. He does it too quickly to backtrack from remembering breakfast and the uncertainty surrounding your character. He didnât plan on accepting your kiss but now he had no choice; his body had him doing the opposite.
âGimme my kiss then, I donât have all day,â with a smile, thoroughly enjoying the grumpy manâs crabby facade, you rise to your toes and kiss him on the cheek. You know he wants to pull away quickly but you trap him by holding his cheek in place. Somehow, you wanted to affectionately dote on this grumpy man and it amused you to see his reactions each time â his ears always become such a bright pink. âH-hurry up, woman! I donât have all day for this!â you smile into his cheek and prolong it a little more before finally pulling away.
As Lloyd grouches to himself with your lunchbox tightly clutched in his hand, Ari tries to make his way back to you for another kiss on the cheek. The bearded man is already puckering his lips in a mock kiss, clearly trying to push Lloydâs buttons and succeeds when he barely makes it to you thanks to Lloyd yanking him away by the collar. Ari laughs and teases Lloyd as you giggle at the display.
Curtis silently comes up to you while distracted and hugs your waist so that when he stands to his full height, he lifts you with him. Smiling down at the mercenary, you hug him around the shoulders and allow him to press his face into your neck where heâs reminded of your intimate moment at the village square and savours the calming effects your fragrance has on him.
âPlease take care, Curt,â you whisper into his ear and he grunts, stoic as ever when you pull away. You take a moment to caress his cheek with your hand and look into his steel-grey eyes before sweetly kissing his cheek. You then kiss his forehead and utter your wishes (âI hope you have a good day,â) against his skin.
âWeâll be home soonâŠâ Curtis utters gently in his rough voice after finally setting you down. He walks out to join the rest of the mercenaries and you wave at them with a bright smile as they leave. You donât stop waving until they can no longer be seen through the trees. When you finally turn back into the cottage, however, youâre met with Jake, who has his arms wide open for you to run into if you please.
âE-even though Iâm not going out todayâŠCan I still get a kiss too? Please?â he asks with a pout but grins brightly when you nod and run over to fall into his arms. Easily, you press a kiss to his cheek and move to pull away whenâ âCan I have another one?â he wasnât satisfied with just one cheek being kissed and, thankfully, you were willing to appease him. âCan I get two more?â you give him a look but when he utters the magic word âpleaseâ, you canât possibly say no. âA-and just one more?--â
âOh Jake!â he giggles freely and mischievously, relishing in the idea that heâs the first person to see you so adorably faux-frustrated. You give him one final kiss anyway and leave him feeling like heâs walking on air. Never before had such a beautiful lady indulged in his antics the way you did. Thereâs no animosity coming from you, only acceptance and affection.
Life canât get better than this~
đĄŒ.đ€Łđ„§đĄŒ.đ€Łđ„§
Jake had a self-collated library all about magic, artefacts and modern tech in his room. It was a personal collection he was rather proud of and eager to finally store on physical shelves and admire freely. He always felt rather pleased with himself when he looked upon the collection, many of his editions were special, annotated with auxiliary details by the original authors themselves. Heâs even personally written several of the observation journals within the collection. They were never officially published and purely stemmed from his interests. So proud he was of his collection that he couldnât resist bringing down the books to show you. He would have happily brought down more but limited himself only to the relevant material needed for his coordinated search with Ari. Heâs confident youâll be able to keep up with his musings the same way you did during breakfast.
Heâs so excited!
Getting to talk to such a beautiful and intelligent lady with a honey-esque voice and kind warmth was heaven on earth for a loser Beta like him. Jake knows that, compared to his other teammates, he barely stacks up but you treat him fairly and with the same sweetness. He never feels left out around you. In his eyes, you glow like the sun. Even more so now that he knows youâre just as interested in magi-tech as him. Have the gods made a more perfect woman than you?...
You promised to look over his books with him after you cleaned up the kitchen and did some of the laundry, which was perfect considering Ari was on call with him that morning. Jake expertly coordinated the search with the lumbering man who took on-site images of any potential artefacts and swiftly copied any paper trails that could prove useful to their mission. Thanks to Ariâs suggestion that Jake stay home for the day, it was much easier to reference certain aspects of the artefacts they were looking for and focus their search efforts.
The morning was a fruitful and busy one. As the grandfather clockâs face gradually reached noon, Ari called off the search and promised to feedback to Jake when he finally returned to base and had lunch to refuel him. Jake was then reminded of his carefully prepared lunch and the growling of his stomach. He finds it far too easy to get caught up in their operations, especially when it concerns a topic he was so passionate about.
âDonât worry about me and eat your lunch, Jake,â you assure, stepping into the kitchen with your apron on, âIâll make something simple but yummy for my lunch today and Iâll join you in a bit,â
âOkay,â Jake concedes, no longer feeling as guilty for starting his lunch first but still expecting a call from Ari âif not during lunch then after. While your back is turned, he goofily smiles at the note you had written and suppresses the urge to fall back and kick his legs in the air. "Just a small reminder: you make the world a better place."
Despite the wariness fostered by your seemingly innocuous exchange with Jake that morning, the mercenaries still made the time to regroup at their city-centre base to eat your lunch together. Itâs become a silent ritual now. Nobody spoke a word in a collective attempt to evade their propagating scepticism of you. For now, all they wanted to do was guiltlessly savour your palatable cooking again, maybe even for the last time â that was a thought they all shared but one that didnât comfort them, not even Lloyd, who silently opened his boxed lunch first.
âI hope this lunch helps you conquer your dayâŠâ Lloyd mutters to himself. Rather than store away your note as he had always done, he crumples it in his hand, motivated by the lingering bitterness of unwarranted betrayal in his chest. Nothing about you is confirmed but that didnât mean your words and actions werenât dubious â Lloyd knew he shouldnât have allowed himself to get soft like this, that was his mistake. He beats himself up mentally for being unable to resist you that morning and dreads the notion that it may be too late for him despite his denials. The merc no longer felt hungry but ate your lovingly prepared lunch anyway. It would be a waste otherwise.
âA tasty pick-me-up for my favourite person,â Ransom smiles down at your sweet note and carefully savours his lunch. He doesnât want to be stubborn about you, he knows that youâre a good person; his doubts canât be easily shaken now.
âTodayâs special ingredient: all my love,â Ari bites down on his lower lip hard. The squeal of joy he was tempted to let out at that moment would be too embarrassing, especially for an over 6-foot, heavily bearded alpha like him. He eagerly digs into his lunch and happily awaits his call with Jake. Maybe if he hurries, he can put in his call for feedback before the mid-day debrief and everyone leaves to resume their missions.
Andy enjoys reading his notes from you in his head, only whispering it to himself aloud when he reads it the first time. He likes to read your note a few more times before finally relenting to his aching stomach, âEvery bite is proof of how much I care,â Itâs hard not to smile while eating your delicious food. It tastes better when he ignores all the sour uncertainties about you.
Curtis rarely smiles but the mercs are treated to his rare, chaste grins every time he reads your lunch note. The stoic guard resists the urge to look up and face his smiling teammates whenever he does â he cares deeply for you but you getting him to smile is quite flustering, "Lunch made with love for someone whoâs truly special." Curtis doesnât believe he will ever grow accustomed to your sweet gestures but he doesnât mind.
Steve tries to ignore your note this time, knowing that itâll make him smile and his heart flood with warmth. He knows that he must avoid your affection at all costs, he needs to remain the most level-headed amongst his team. However, just as heâs finishing up his last few bites, the guilt has already weighed down his stomach significantly and he canât resist reading your elegant handwritten note for the day, "I thought of you while making thisâhopefully itâs as wonderful as you are!" Steve would be a monster if he didnât smile at your sweet words and, thankfully, he isnât one.
In his periphery, Ari sees the team diligently packing up their lunches to sit around the main table with Steve. Their mid-day debrief was drawing near and he rushed to call Jake. He turns his voice up to be heard aloud by everyone else.
Lunch finished later than usual for you but quickly got back to sewing beside Jake as soon as possible. While you sew, Jake takes diligent notes on a spare pad of paper, drawing from the open books piled up around him. His gaze remains focused, silent and studious, it was a side you rarely saw in the goofy, excitable Beta but was one you appreciated seeing in him. Smiling to yourself, you return your attention to your sewing just as Jakeâs small shell-shaped magi-tech device rings atop the coffee table. He reaches out to answer it and Ariâs voice filters into the empty air.
âAfternoon Ari! Howâs work?â Jake begins with an unfaltering grin.
âAfternoon Jake, itâs all good,â Ari happily greets over the specialised device, âHowâs the weather at the cottage?â Report on current affairs.
âWe have some clouds,â Thereâs company who can hear. The mercenaries tense up knowing that youâre near enough to pick up on their conversation. Ari and Jake will have to keep their dialogue highly censored so as not to reveal anything. Andy can easily hop on the call and take over as he was the better speaker but only Ari and Jake had adequate knowledge of the magical artefacts so they were better suited to conversing.
âI see, itâs been cloudy here too,â Everyone can hear. âAt least thereâs no rain,â the two lightly chuckle, âDid you get a chance to water the peonies as I asked?â Speak cautiously.
âNot yet, but I will in a bit,â Jake carefully eyes you in his periphery and almost sags in relief when youâre too engrossed with mending Steveâs torn-up shirt. âThe peonies will be watered generously but I could never do a better job than you,â Itâs safe. Iâll keep you informed. Hearing Jakeâs assurance, the mercenaries relax ever so slightly. Due to their limited codes, itâs hard to pinpoint how safe it was to speak openly but they trust their Beta. Theyâve all survived off of their trust in each other, if Jake says itâs safe, then itâs safe.
âJust donât overdo it,â Ari replies, slightly worried for his carefully grown peonies. To ensure you donât grow suspicious, Jake will have to water his peonies at the front of the cottage later on but their tech genius doesnât have the greenest of thumbs â whatever, this was for the team. He can always grow more peonies but he canât sabotage everyoneâs final mission to secure retirement.
After some time passes, Jake suddenly groans in frustration and momentarily distracts you from the sewing, ââ€Replicas have been made and itâs making things very difficult,â your attention is immediately stolen, quickly prompting Jake to snap his head towards you and smile with his teeth.
âSorry about that, princess. I didnât mean to worry you, just a little stressed out about work,â Jake apologises, making it obvious to the rest of the team that you were actively listening now and they silently thanked him for it. Especially Ari; the alpha didnât want his pack to turn their backs on you, not when theyâve barely given you a chance. You may still be a total mystery but that didnât eliminate the knowing feeling in his chest and the instinctual pull he had towards you.
âReplicas?â you ask before you can stop yourself. At the slightly uncomfortable look on Jakeâs face, you bite your lip guiltily, âIâm sorry, I didnât mean to eavesdrop like that.â
âItâs alright,â Jake rubs the back of his head bashfully. âH-How much did you hear?â
âOnly the end bit, about the replicas. Are you doing some sort of investigation on replica artefacts and tech?â you ask with an adorable head tilt that made Jakeâs heart pound like crazy.
âI-I guess you could say that,â
âWow, that sounds very important. You must work on a lot of forgery cases from all the notes youâve made,â you nod towards his tireless notations and heavy books.
âHaha! Guilty. The winner deserves a prize~â he teases to which you playfully bat at his shoulder. Youâre smiling as if youâre not bothered at all by that deduction so he runs with it and makes sure the team is well-informed of this: follow along. Jake has to remind himself to school his features first. He canât bring himself to meet your eyes normally anymore. He felt like an utter criminal for lying to your face like this. So he focuses his attention back on his messy array of notes and books.
âWhat artefacts or tech are you looking into? Maybe I can help?â From breakfast, Jake can tell you have an expansive knowledge of magi-tech and artefacts. He knows he should think the decision over more but his words are spilling past his lips before he can think to stop himself.
âThat would be great! Thanks!â Jakeâs brow suddenly becomes sweaty as he reaches for a worn book with aged pages left open at a particular spread. The movement draws your eyes to the illustration displayed on the two-page spread.
âOhâŠâ Jake raises a brow at your shocked expression, âFor such an ancient artefact to have replicas is astoundingâŠâ you utter to yourself, loud enough for your voice to reach Ari and the rest of the team, who were anxiously listening in on you and Jake. They opted for staying quiet so that you divulge as much information as possible. Knowledge is power, no matter the source.
âYou know this artefact?â
âIt has such a rich history, Iâm surprised not many more people know of it,â
Jake chuckles in slight embarrassment, âI only have these old artefacts books on it. And modern tech books arenât much help; I left those upstairs,â
âItâs alright,â you assure with kind understanding, âItâs one of the oldest artefacts but back then information on it was scarce since the owners didnât want to divulge too much,â
âHow do you know all this?â
You shrug your shoulders and look away shyly, âYouâd be surprised at what kind of information youâll find on the same thing but from a different genre. History books are better at knowing the origins of these artefacts more than these magic books, they are more for showcasing its mechanisms and specifications,â Jake nods along, leaning towards you ever so slightly.
âThat makes sense,â
âItâs a beautiful piece of magical technology, one of the first of its kind â hence the âartefactâ classification. And, despite its dark past, it led to a massive turning point in history,â You begin to retell your teachings from the generous staff who had taught you behind the Queenâs back. Ernest and Abigail kept your mind sharp and well-learned from the many books the royal library held. Abraham, the palace mage also helped educate you, specifically on your magic capabilities and especially on this history of magic, artefacts and modern magi-tech. He thought for sure that he would no longer be needed at the palace; with no King to aid in magic and a Queen with no desire to support the true heir, he was ready to pack his bags. However, the Queen regularly appeared before him with questions on magic so he could stay. Grateful for the mercenariesâ generosity in letting you stay, you happily provided Jake with the same teachings of Abraham.
An incredible amount of years ago, many people detested those with magical abilities and for good reason. The ability to control and use magic freely came at a heavy price, soul corruption. Over time, an individual with magical abilities would become selfish, greedy, violent and unloving towards others â the human heart and soul can be easily degraded by magic, but not certain metals and other materials. Once that was learned, powerful sorcerers imbued their magic into ordinary objects which would then become magical artefacts.
Jake eagerly listened, as did his teammates on the connecting side of the magi-tech device they were using.
However, there was a small group of people who didnât get corrupted by the magic ability they were gifted with. The modern-day royal family are the descendants of those same people. It seemed that these individuals were gifted with a high affinity and tolerance for magic, granting them power to rule over the kingdoms. They proved themselves worthy rulers by creating artefacts that protected an entire city of people. Those same artefacts stand to this day, all located at the central point of each kingdomâs capital. The rulersâ natural talents were never challenged nor their rule, thus starting the monarchy.
However, anomalies with magical power did occur within and outside the royal bloodline. And without an explanation, many wrongdoings were committed.
âBecause magical prowess became an exclusive trait to the royal family, those who had magical powers but were not born into royalty were treated poorly and executed. But, if you remember, before the monarchy was ever established, others were also gifted with magical affinities. Now that itâs exclusive only to royals, those who werenât were punished.â you and Jake shared a sad look, âThe reasoning was so that the magic user doesnât get corrupted by their magic but it canât be denied that magic had become such an exclusive privilege of the royal families that pride was also a factor,â Jake shakes his head in disappointment. His love for magic, artefacts and magi-tech made the history you were telling him hard to swallow. He can understand why this wasnât common knowledge, althoughâŠsuch rich historical books were also hard to come byâŠ
âIt also didnât help that we, as humans, have a bad habit of gossiping about strange events in search of an explanation. The âanomalyâ of a âcommonerâ having magical abilities was so taboo that it warranted execution, especially when rumours began to spread that those high-magic-affinity people were the illegitimate children of the royal family. Nowadays, itâs no longer stigmatised as itâs been extrapolated that some individuals are just more magically inclined than others. But this was only after King Kloros.â
âWhat about him?â
âKing Kloros was found to be infertile later in life when his five-year-old son, Prince Leto, was found to have no magical powers. Usually, royal children display magic as young as a month old but five years is the benchmark. Since Prince Leto wasnât magically inclined even at five years of age, the King confronted the mirror of Aleth, named after the Sorceress and Queen Alethea who created the mirror to tell only truths when asked a question. It was found that Prince Leto was not his true son at all but was born out of his Queen consortâs affair. Outraged, King Kloros banished his Queen Consort, he could no longer look into Queen Consort Anwirâs eyes. To the surprise of many, he kept Prince Leto as his heir; he had grown to see the boy as his true son already. He also knew wouldnât be able to have a son of his own anyway but wanted an heir regardless. Years later, however, Prince Leto, at 7 years of age, developed magical abilities regardless of his heritage and that was when King Kloros decided to banish prejudice against all magic users, vowing to find ways to prevent his son from being corrupted by the magic. It was found that as long as magic users practised the flow of magic within them and released them into objects regularly, they were less likely to be corrupted, which is why most sorcerers help create magi-tech products or participate in healing the sick,â
âThank goodness for that,â Jake voiced playfully after thanking you and you both giggled. With scrutiny, Jake focused on the ancient pages showcasing the Mirror of Aleth, âBut I do wonder⊠why donât more people know about the mirror despite its influence on King Kloros and, therefore, the world as they knew it,â Jake mumbles to himself.
âItâs probably because it only did one thing. Yes, it generated a huge wave of influence but that âhuge waveâ completely masked its original impact.â Jake nods beside you, âI also read somewhere that it only responded to true descendants, as in, the royal family so itâs been kept securely at the Okisha Kingdomâs Palace vault. As honourable people, they like the use the artefactâs abilities sparingly â they understand how damaging it is to know all truths, hence why Queen Alethea made sure the mirror only responded to descendants of the royal family,â All mercenaries tensed at the mention of their client but only for a millisecond; you were only reciting your knowledge. The intel they were given by the Okisha Kingdomâs mage was very lacking compared to your intelligence. However, that only made them more curious and cautious of you.
You move to continue your sewing but Jake, hypnotised by your voice and knowledgable insight, hurries to keep you talking, âWould you know how to identify the real one from a replica?â
His words make you think in silence as all of the listening men await your words with bated breath. Steve, Andy, Jake and Ari anticipate what your valuable intelligence may provide them in their mission, preferring to disregard their suspicions for the time being. Curtis and Ransom look at each other momentarily and keep their ears perked as well. Lloyd, however, tries to tune out your voice as much as possible; he feels a pang of sickening betrayal every time you innocently add to their suspicions because how could you possibly know all this bullshit?!
âI would first consider why replicas are being made â potentially to throw off whoeverâs wanting to snatch the original, a decoy perhaps?â thatâs a line of thinking you would rather return to at a later time for its many possibilities, âAnd then I would think about what the most telling signs would be of a fakeâŠâ you gesture to Jakeâs open book and politely ask if you could touch it; you only do so after he gives a nod of permission. With that simple but considerate gesture, Jake thinks youâre even more of an angel now â heâs head over heels! He doesnât allow just anyone to touch his prized possessions lightly but he trusts your delicate hands. âNotice how the mirror is made of only precious materials?â Jake nods eagerly, ecstatic to know you were just as vigilant as him in that observation. He hopes you can give him some sort of explanation as to why that is; he has his personal theories but theyâre only that, theories. Anotherâs insight, especially from one whoâs as knowledgable as you is very valuable. âDo you know why most ancient artefacts are only made with precious metals?â
âNot a clue,â
âItâs because magic can corrode materials as much as it can a personâs heart and soul. Precious metals are precious because they corrode very very very slowly, to the point that itâs barely noticeable. Nowadays, all magi-tech products only need to be installed with imbued magic crystals to work,â Jake has a eureka moment in his head and restrains himself from jumping on you with a scream of joy. Thatâs a better explanation than anything heâs come up with before. And is one he can use when training or creating his own magi-tech devices after his retirement with the boys.
âThatâs amazing! All we have to do is see if the materials are made of precious metals or not!â
âExactly!â
đĄŒ.đ€Łđ„§đĄŒ.đ€Łđ„§
Jake and Ari were able to make progress with their specific mission thanks to your precious intel. Ari stiffly worded his gratitude over the device and swiftly ended the call, leaving Jake to bite at his already short nails. Unphased, you returned to sewing Steveâs shirt. Glancing at the grandfather clock, it was still early afternoon so keep with your sewing but regularly glance at the clockface so that you donât start on dinner too late. While you did that, Jake was drowning Ariâs peonies from anxiety. The tech genius can only imagine what his team would do as soon as they arrived home for dinner that night. He tends to lose track of many things when magic, artefacts and magi-tech are involved so he could hardly restrain himself when you talked overtly about the ancient artefact with Ari and the boys on the other end. As you revealed everything you knew to him, you also revealed it all to his teammates. Itâs safe to say that he was expecting the worst-ever reaction from them.
Heâll protect you with his life! Even against his own! He loved the team but heâs never felt such a strong connection to someone else before. Youâre the first lady to ever turn his way without a judgemental look in your eyes; youâre not dissuaded by his dorkiness and zealous interest in magic, you lean into it and happily discuss the topic with him. Youâre a rare jewel he would rather sacrifice his life for than ever part with.
Jake slowly loses himself in thoughts of you and your wonderfulness. He was just beginning to smile goofily when he was subtly alerted by a breach in the barrier. They were home early! Rushing inside, Jake beelines it to you.
âJake?â you ask with a slight tilt of your head as if to say, âWhatâs wrong?â. Jake knows whatâs wrong but heâs not going to tell you anything. You stand when Jake keeps striding towards you without a word. You donât know what to expect but itâs not to be lifted from the ground and into his arms as if you weighed nothing.
âThereâs no time, Princess!â Jake turns on his heel and steps towards the back of the house but freezes up when the front door slams open. You gasp and jump ever so slightly in his arms from freight but smile over his shoulder at the sight of the mercenaries arriving in the living room with their shoes still on.
âYouâre home early, today,â you beam from over Jakeâs shoulder, âhow was work? Iâm afraid I donât have dinner ready yetââ
âQuiet!â Steve commands firmly and in a volume that shakes the cottage walls. His eyes are like dull, blue stones, cold and hard as they drill into you. It sends a chill down your spine, âTurn around and put her down, Jake,â Jake turns but doesnât let you go, only holding you closer.
âSorry Cap,â Jake apologises without any meaning, âIâm afraid I canât do that,â Ari smiles at the gesture and nods in approval from his place beside Ransom.
âPut. Her. Down. Now!â
âNo!â
âWh-whatâs going on?â you whisper, blinking back tears from the frightening visage of Steve. He was always so kind and warm to be around; this is the first time youâve ever seen him so loud and cold.
âSheâs not a bad person, Captain!â
âThen who is she?!â Lloyd barks from Steveâs right, stepping forward to sneer at you with much more animosity than youâre used to. His confrontational step forward makes you reel back and turn away from him in fear, âTell us your real name!â Your obvious fright makes Lloyd stutter ever so slightly but protecting him and his mismatched pack will always be his top priority, not you.
âI-I have told you my real name!â you defend, wrapping your arms around Jakeâs neck and leaning into him for comfort.
âYouâre scaring her, Lloyd!â Ransom counters, stepping out of the group to stand closer to you and Jake. Curtis does the same but silently, his tall, broad stature as imposing and dangerous as ever. The two have been able to see your true character in the time theyâve spent with you â even though you have secrets, that doesnât mean you were untrustworthy; everyone has secrets.
âIt doesnât matter if sheâs the thief!â Lloyd points an accusing finger at you.
âSheâs not the thief!â
âYou donât know that!â
âAnd what makes you think you do?!â
âENOUGH!â Lloyd and Ransom looked ready to shout at each other until the sun rose again if it werenât for Ari cutting in. âScreaming and arguing with each other isnât going to sort anything out! Plus our angel isnât any less frightened!â Ari steps up to stand beside your curled-up form in Jakeâs arms. âIf she meant any harm, she would have done something by now. She deserves to have a say,â Ari gives a pointed look at Andy who smiles at the bittersweet notion that the heavily bearded alpha chose now to recite his personal philosophy.
Everyone turns to Steve, who contemplates the situation. A long pause draws out for what feels like an eternity before their Captain finally turns to their negotiator.
âAndy?â Steve asks. He truly can see things going two ways. He was ready to kick you out for the betterment of his pack but seeing Jake, Ari, Ransom and Curtis firmly standing at your side made him second-guess himself. Trust in the team. Lloyd was too heated. Andy was the only other level-headed Alpha he could fully rely on.
â...Let her speak for herself, Captain,â Andy canât shake Ariâs reminder of his personal values. With a bit of work, his teammate could make for a great negotiator, âShe deserves to have a say,â
Steve nods and meets your eyes with a hard but warmer stare, âTell us the truth,â
Not seeing a way out, you nod and bite your lip with some insecurity. âAlrightâŠâ

a/n :Â this is a pretty long chapter, primarily because of the world-building lore I wove into it. I hope you enjoyed it and the read. The series is slowly getting more interesting so things will pick up from here. Look forward to future updates hehe~ In the meantime, Happy holidays, my darlings!
If you're interested, here's a little note on the names involved in the lore drop:
Chloe, the name, means 'fertility' and is derived from the Greek name KhlĂłros - I took the âhâ out to sort of take away from that meaning somehow and better fit the infertile king.
Leto, the name, means 'hidden' and has Greek and Latin origins
Alethea, the name, means 'truth' and has Greek roots
Anwir, the name, is Welsh, meaning 'liar'

The assistant (9) - Revenge for champions
Lloyd reluctantly opens the gate for Steve. He eyes the captain warily, and huffs. âCaptain Asshole.â He grunts.
âKidnapper,â Steve bites back. Like promised, he came in civilian clothes, and without his shield. Heâs carrying a duffle bag while surveilling the property on his way toward the mansion.
âI see Captain Asshat came,â Ari sneers at Steve. He looks the captain up and down, wondering what everything sees in the blonde.
âPlay nice, Ari,â Andy warns. He doesnât like having Steve on their property either, but this way, the brothers have control over the situation. And he made a few calls. Things will go according to his plan, not Steveâs. âNo killing Captain America.â
Lloyd snorts. âSpeak for yourself, not me. If he only breathes wrong, heâll bite a bullet.â
âAh, we already reached the status of threatening,â Curtis steps out of the mansion, his muscular arms crossed over his chest. âJake checks on the cameras, and Mike is doing Pilates or crap with Y/N.â
âIf he touched her,â Steve wants to jump at Curtis. âIâll break his neck.â
âWhoaâŠwhoa,â Lloyd points his index finger at Steve. âIf anyone breaks our little chaosâs neck, itâs me. Heâs my brother, not yours.â
Andy coughs and looks away. He doesnât know how to tell his brothers whom he called to join forces with them. If they must fight Captain America and the Avengers, theyâll need every help they can get.
âSo, uhââ he loosens his tie. âWe should talk about something before we let him inside. I made a few calls and asked for a favor.â
âYou asked for a favor?â Curtis turns his head to look at his brother. âAndy, what did you do? I hope you donât try to bullshit us with your lawyer crap again.â
âI wish it was only about lawyer crapâŠâ Andy looks at the still-open gate. He huffs and removes his tie. âI called someone to join us today.â
âAnother guest?â Lloyd rolls his eyes. âAndy, weâve got our hands full with Captain Turd over there. I donât have the nerves to handle our little chaos, Cappy and another guest.â
âHere we goâŠâ Ari sighs when a car drives through the open gate. He shakes his head before punching Andyâs arm. âHeâs an outcast, brother. How dare you call him?â
âHeâs still our brother,â Andy argues. âI meanâŠyeahâŠhe chose another family over us, and his love for money is making me sick butâŠâ
âAndrew Barber, there is no but!â Lloyd lunges at his brother. He has his hand around Andyâs throat to slam him into the wall.
âWhoa, stop it!â Ari struggles to drag Lloyd off his brother. âWe donât kill each other, Lloyd. Save your energy for our real enemies.â
âHe invited Ransom fucking Drysdale, Ari! How could he? That bastard said we are not brothers,â Curtis yells as said man gets out of his brand-new car. âYou! Get off our property!â
Curtis storms toward Ransom to punch his face. âYou fucker!â Ransom dodges the next punch. He likes the finer things in life but didnât forget how to fight. âAndy called me!â
âWhat is this all aboutââ Jake and Mike stop in their tracks. While Ari tries to keep Lloyd from strangling Andy, Curtis and Ransom throw punches at each other. âGuys! Whatâs going on here?â
âSo, this is how you keep Y/N safe?â Steve huffs. He drops his duffle bag to the ground to storm past Jake and Mike. âIâll get her out of this madhouse!â
âBuddy, you better stay out,â Jake puts his hand on Steveâs chest to stop him and make things worse. He doesnât stand a chance against Captain America, but right now, he gives a shit.
âGUYS!â you stomp your foot. âWhat is going on here?â You storm toward Lloyd to slap his shoulder. âLloyd, let go of Andy. Ari same goes for you. Stop hitting your brotherâs back.â
âButââ Lloyd pouts. âHeâŠand thenâŠand he invited the gold-digger!â
âI donât care, Lloyd Hansen,â you poke his arm. âWe do not hurt the people we love. I want you to apologize to your brother.â You harrumph and tap your foot. âLloyd, apologize to your brother or there will be no dessert for you.â
Lloydâs eyes darken. He looks at your crotch and hums. âI love me some dessert, Cupcake. What do you have to offer?â
âNot that, you little pervert,â you slap the back of his head. âNow play nice, Lloyd.â
âFine,â he pouts. âIâm sorry for choking you.â He looks at Andy, not sorry at all.
âAri, your turn,â you point at Ari. âIâm waiting. There will be no head massage and hair pulling for you if you do not apologize for slapping your brother.â
âIs it just me, or is this kind of hot?â Lloyd grins. Heâs happy that he isn't the only one who got in trouble this time.
âLloyd, Iâm sorry for slapping your back. Even though you deserved it and I only tried to keep you from choking Andy to death.â
âVery well,â you clap your hands and turn your attention toward Mike. âAre you okay? Did one of them hurt you too?â
âNo, Iâm good butââ He points at Curtis and Ransom. They are tangled in each other, fighting for control. âUh-we should stop them tooâŠâ
âChrist on a cracker!â You throw your hands up. âYouâŠâ you point at Steve. âHands off Jake.â You look at Jake. âJakie, no violence. How about you and Mike talk some sense into your brothers.â
âSure, Sweetie,â Jake relaxes when you press a soft kiss on his cheek. âBut if he blinks, Iâll smash him with my laptop.â
âFair,â you nod and walk toward Curtis and Ransom. Curtis tries to wrestle Ransom to the ground while Ransom tries to kick Curtisâs shin. âGuys, whatâs your problem?â
âHey, Â Sunshine,â Curtis pants. He pushes Ransom to the ground, grabs his arm, and twists it. âWe are good, Y/N. Just give me a minute to convince my brother to leave our property.â
âAnother brother,â you crouch down to get a better look at the man on the ground. âYou really are the seven dwarfs.â You smirk at the man staring up at you. He grins and licks his lips.
âOh, thatâs a nice new addition,â Ransom purrs. âTell me, Sugar. Whom do you belong to?â
âSheâs our friend, stop hitting on her,â Curtis puts his foot onto Ransomâs chest. âYou are not welcome here.â
Ransom sucks his lower lip in. âShe belongs to all of you.â He whistles. âYouâre a sweet thing. HmmâŠI can think of a thing or two to make you happy.â
âRansom!â Jake grunts. âDonât talk like that to Y/N!â
âCurtis, let his arm go,â you place your hand on Curtisâs shoulder to calm him. âPeople are watching.â You whisper. âWe donât want to draw too much attention toward us. Remember?â
âYouâre lucky she stopped me,â Curtis drops Ransomâs arm and steps away. âIf not Iâd rip your arm out to slap you to death with it.â
âCurtis!â You tut. âWhy are you so angry at him?â
âHe left us when we needed him the most,â Lloyd wraps his arm protectively around your shoulders. âWe were barely fifteen, and that bastard talked some rich people into adopting him. They wanted an heir, and he wanted to get away from us.â
âCan you blame me for not wanting to end up being a mobster and get shot dead? I wanted more from life than that. Just like Andy. But heâs here, parading around the mansion!â Ransom growls. âYou forgave him for leaving, but not me. I was a kid looking for hope.â
âYouâre a gold-digging whore wanting shiny things, nothing else,â Lloyd spits on the ground next to Ransom. âI suggest you stay far away from me, and Y/N.â
âLloydâŠâ Andy sighs. âPlease stop this shit. You canât expect all of us to want the same things you want from life. We tried a different life, okay. The moment you called I was there. Just like Ransom came here after I asked him for help.â
âHe wonât get one of the good bedrooms,â Lloyd pecks your cheek before he turns to walk inside the mansion to calm down. âWe should head inside andâŠâ he looks at the still-open gate. âCan someone close the fucking gate?â
âSoâŠâ you press a cool pack to Curtisâs cheek, âRansom is the last brother or are there more of you?â
âYou canât get enough of us, huh?â Ari smirks. He bandages his hand while glaring at Lloyd sitting across from him. âYou didnât have to choke Andy.â
âYou didnât have toâŠâ Lloyd mimics Ari. âI do whatever the fuck I want to do.â
Jake and Mike keep out of their fight. They busy themselves watching Steve. The captain sulks in a corner while you play nurse for the brothers.
After offering a cool pack to Ransom and taping his split eyebrow, you took care of Curtis. âPress the cool pack to your cheek. It will help.â
âThank you, Sunshine,â Curtis sighs when you run your hand over his head. âYouâre the best.â
âAndy, no. We need to put something on that too,â you sniffle looking at Andyâs bruised neck. You carefully touch his skin. âLloyd, you should be ashamed of hurting your brother like that. This is not okay.â
âI said Iâm sorry,â Lloyd grumbles under his breath. âHe had it coming. Whatâs a good choking among brothers, right?â He flashes you a smile. âCome on, that one was funny.â
âNot if anyone gets hurt, Lloyd,â you tut. âI thought we wanted to prove to Captain Rogers that Iâm safe with all of you. The moment he set foot onto your ground you started fighting each other.â
Steve crosses his arms over his chest. He watches you and listens closely. This is his chance. If he can convince you that the brothers are dangerous, youâll follow him.

Authorâs Note: This one is dedicated to my dearest @thezombieprostitute
Please feel free to leave some feedback, reblog, and jump into my asks. Iâm always happy to discuss with you and riff on idea. As always, you are cherished and adored! Stay safe, be kind, and treat yourselfđ
The next day arrives in a tide of anxiety. Youâre both impatient and unprepared for what awaits you. Thatâs not so much different from any other day but that simmer in your stomach has turned to a boil.Â
You get ready slowly. You think of Mr. Hansen and his remarks. You ignore them and pull on a pair of grey plaid slacks and a tidy blouse with daisy buttons. You put a bow in your hair and pay special attention to moisturizer and mascara.Â
You drive to work on half a cup of coffee. Caffeine will only add to your nerves. You have until noon and that wonât even be the end. After the interview, there is the matter of waiting for a response.Â
You grab Mr. Hansen his usual. You take the elevator up and knock on his office door. Heâs not in. You enter and put his cup on his desk. You come back out as he struts by your desk with a whistle. He slows as he sees you, his eyes scanning up and down. He doesnât say anything but his expression clearly speaks his disappointment.Â
âCritter--â Â
âCoffeeâs on your desk, sir,â you answer.Â
He doesnât respond. He goes into his office and you go to your desk. You hope that things can go back to the way they were. Just for this more. Let you be complacent and him be quietly unhappy.Â
You fidget uneasily as you stare blankly at your screen. Thereâs an email to confirm your meeting time. Noon... you look at the clock and groan. Still hours to go.Â
It isnât long before Mr. Hansen reappears. He slurps his coffee loudly. âYou get sugar in this? Tastes extra sweet today... not so salty.âÂ
You look up at him guiltily, âno, Mr. Hansen. I didnât do anything.âÂ
âI fucking know you didnât. One thing I can say about you, Critter, is youâre a fast learner.â He praises but it hardly feels like a compliment. âWell, sometimes,â his eyes fall down and he leans in to see past your desk, âIâm not seeing any thigh.âÂ
âSir, I donât have any other skirts. Sorry--âÂ
âYou should be fucking sorry and I should dock your pay for noncompliance,â his voice deepens. âDonât got a skirt. Go fucking find one. You got thirty minutes before Walker shows up.âÂ
âWalker, sir?â You frown. Thatâs not in your calendar.Â
âOh, I penciled him in. You know, Iâm a big boy, I can do just fine without you, Crit. I just prefer not having to do any of the dumb shit you sit around and stress over,â he scoffs. âWhile youâre getting that, donât forget to grab some pastries. Canât have a big prospect coming in to a dry reception.âÂ
âSir,â you push yourself up by the arms of your chair. âIâm on it.âÂ
Heâs already turning away before youâre on your feet. He struts off as you snatch up your purse. Youâre almost grateful for the chance to get away. All night you felt suffocated by Hansen, even in his absence. Being in the office is much worse.Â
You find a thrift shop a few blocks down. Thereâs not much else open this early. You pick out a skirt in your size without much consideration. Itâs grey. Plain. Nothing showy. You stop to grab a box of sweet pastries from the Italian deli then head back to the office. Youâd like to take your time but you donât need to give Hansen any more reasons.Â
You drop your things on your desk and scurry away to change. The skirt isnât bad. Almost to your knees. And you didnât notice the draping before.Â
As you settle in, Mr. Walker arrives. Heâs tall and broad. Heâs the only man you know besides Mr. Odinson that makes Hansen seem a little less intimidating. You stand to greet him.Â
âHello, I can go get him--âÂ
Walker looks you up and down and tilts his head. He sports a mustache similar to Hansen, but darker, and with a shadow of stubble around his square jaw. He sniffs.Â
âYou new here?â He asks.Â
You blink. You shake your head, âno, sir.â You donât bother explaining youâve been here for years.Â
âNew skirt?â He wonders.Â
You pause and look down. You pause then jump back into action. The sooner heâs in Hansenâs office, the sooner you can be alone and prepare yourself mentally for your interview.Â
You knock and receive no answer. You assume as much. You tap again. Hansen growls from within.Â
You open the door, âMr. Hansen, Mr. Walker is here--âÂ
âWhere the fuck are the pastries?â He snarls as he squeezes on a hand grip, the joint squeaking with his strength.Â
âIâll bring them in, sir.âÂ
âNah, put them in a conference room with Walker.â He squeezes the gripper until his knuckles pale. âAnd try smiling. I need him in a good mood.âÂ
âYes, sir.âÂ
You go and show Walker to a conference room with a smile, not that he notices the extra effort. You offer him some of the pastries before you go, leaving the door slightly ajar in expectation of Mr. Hansen. Youâre all too happy to be back at your desk while heâs distracted with real business.Â
Your mind wanders. He said it himself. He doesnât need you. He can survive just fine without you. So he shouldnât be bothered whenâif you hand in your two weeks.Â
As you turn the corner, you smack into someone else. At first, youâre terrified that itâs Hansen. Oh great. Instead, Jensen takes a step back as he gently holds you at arm's length.Â
âWoah, you okay?âÂ
âOh, uh, sorry, yeah, I was... thinking.âÂ
âHeard you got an interview today,â he says, âgood luck.âÂ
âRight, uh, yeah. At lunch.âÂ
âOnly a couple hours, huh?â He grins.Â
You nod and slowly glance down as his hands remain on your arms. He chuckles and rescinds them, âsorry. Uh... I like that skirt.âÂ
âThanks,â you mumble.Â
âIs it new?âÂ
âNot really.âÂ
âOh, okay. Um, sorry if Iâm like holding you up. You must be anxious about the interview. Iâll let you go butâtell me how it goes, after?âÂ
You look him in the eye. Heâs so nice. Too nice.Â
âSure,â you agree. âThanks, Jensen. For getting my foot in the door.âÂ
âMe?â He shakes his head. âI didnât do much. I said your name and they jumped at the chance. You know, you got a reputation around here. You work hard.â He tucks his hands in his pockets, âyou have to. Youâre the only one whoâs lasted that long with Hansen.âÂ
âOh, right, I guess...â You blink and nearly recoil. âSpeaking of.âÂ
âYeah, I know. Heâs not my biggest fan,â he says. âHey, I really hope you get it.âÂ
You smile, this time for real. âMe too.âÂ
