PEMRA issues show cause notice to Dr. Shahid Masood's show

Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has once again issued a show cause notice to BOL News over Dr. Shahid Masood’s show ‘Live with Dr. Shahid Masood’. In the notice issued, PEMRA stated that the program targeted sensitive information “recklessly and carelessly”.

As per the notice, the episode aired on 24th January 2017 at 08:05 pm discussed civil-military relations which do not stand par to the media standards. Thus, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had filed a complaint against the anchor and the channel to look into the matter. Furthermore, the channel has been commanded to reply with the explanation notice by 2nd February.

The notice pointed that Dr. Masood in his programme stated that two ministers, one of whose name started with ‘D’ and the other one with a ‘K’ were called upon to the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi. He had further identified them as the ministers “related to defence” and the other one “dealing with the treasury”.

After the issue went viral, Ishaq Dar sent legal notices to Shahid Masood and Bol News through his legal counsel of Rs1 billion, for defaming the authorities and maligning spiteful content against them.  It also highlighted that the episode based all the events on the mere speculations, ideas and passed derogatory statements that damaged the reputation and character of the concerned minister.

The notice read:

“He made a completely false statement hinting to an alleged meeting between finance minister and Rawalpindi (‘GHQ’), whereas, no such meeting had taken place at all. The story was utterly false and absolutely fictitious. The anchor’s fabrication had the malicious intent to defame and disgrace the finance minister.”

اسے ڈاکٹر قیامت بھی کہا جاتا ہے ۔ اس کے ساتھی ڈاکٹر قیامت کا نام لیکر اس کا مذاق اڑاتے ہیں ۔ کیونکہ وہ لوگوں کو قیامت سے ڈراتا ہے ۔ وہ سمجھتا ہے وقت آخر قریب آ گیا ہے ۔ وہ وقت جس کے بارے احادیث مبارکہ میں بیان کیا گیا تھا کہ ایسا فتنوں کا دور آنے والا ہے جب ایمان پر قائم رھنا ھاتھ میں انگارہ پکڑنے سے بھی زیادہ سخت ہوگا۔ اور وہ آخری زمانہ ھوگا۔۔۔۔ چنانچہ وہ لوگوں کو اس فتنوں کے دور سے ڈراتا ہے ۔۔۔ وہ نشانیوں سے ثابت کرکے بتاتا ہے کہ یہ وقت قیامت کے قریب کا ہے ۔ وہ لوگون کو اسی طرح ڈراتا ہے ھے جیسے انبیاء کرام صدیوں تک اپنے امتیوں کو ڈراتے رہے ۔ حتی کہ آخری نبی اور رسول حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بھی اپنی امتیوں کو بتاتے رھے کہ لوگو قیامت بالکل قریب ھے ۔۔۔۔ تم آخری امت ھو اس امت کے بعد نہ کوئی امت آئے گی اور نہ ہی اس امت کا رسول یا نبی آئے گا۔ وہ بھی بالکل اسی طرح لوگوں کو یوم آخر سے ڈراتا ہے جس طرح قرآن پاک میں جا بہ جا اللہ تعالیٰ ڈراتے ہیں۔ اس کی باتیں دلیلیں سن کر اس کے ساتھ اور کولیگ ھنستے ہیں مخالف اس کا ٹھٹھہ اڑاتے ہیں اور ایک دوسرے کو کہتے ہیں یہ بکواس کر رہا ہے کسی قیامت وغیرہ کے کوئی آثار نہیں ہیں۔ اور نہ ہی کبھی کوئی قیامت آئے گی ۔ وہ بالکل اسی طرح اس کا مذاق اڑاتے ہیں جیسے پہلے زمانے کے بدکردار اور اللہ پر ایمان نہ رکھنے والے مشرک لوگ اللہ کے بندوں کا مذاق اڑاتے تھے ۔ ان کو ذلیل کرتے تھے ۔

اسے پاگل اور زہنی مریض بھی کہا جاتا ہے ۔ کیونکہ یہ پاگل زہنی مریض بہتی گنگا میں ہاتھ دھونے کی بجائے گناہوں کی اس گنگا کے کنارے کھڑا ہو کر لوگوں کو شرمندہ کرنے کی کوشش کرتا ھے ۔ اس کے ھم پیشہ کھرب پتہ بن چکے ہیں ۔ اپنے قلم کالم اور زبان گروی رکھ کے ان کی کمائی دونوں ھاتھوں سے سمیٹ رھے ہیں جبکہ یہ نہ تو خود حصہ وصول کر رہا ھے اور نہ ہی دوسروں کو کرنے دے رہا رھا ھے ۔

یہ اپنے لبرل آزاد خیال اور روشن خیال ساتھیوں کو چبھتا ہے ، کیونکہ یہ روشن خیالی اور آزاد خیالی کو ناسور کہتا ہے چنانچہ اس کے لبرل ساتھی اس کے خلاف متحد ہو چکے ہیں ۔

حکومت، اپوزیشن بلکہ سبھی سیاستدان بھی اس کے خلاف متحد ہے ۔ یہ ان سب کو بدمعاشیہ کہتا ھے۔۔ یہ سب لوگ اسے کسی صورت میں زندہ نہیں دیکھنا چاہتے ۔ یہ حکومت اور اپوزیشن دونوں پر ایک جیسی تنقید کرتا ہے دونوں کی مالی بدعنوانیوں کے سکینڈل منظرعام پر لاتا ہے ۔ وہ اللہ کی بھولی بھالی ان پڑھ مخلوق کو بیوقوف بنانے والوں کے کچے چٹھے کھولتا ہے۔ وہ لوگوں کو بتانے کی کوشش کرتا ھے کہ جن لوگوں کو تم رہبر سمجھتے ہو وہ رہزن ہیں جو تمہارے ووٹ سے منتخب ہوکر تم پر حکمرانی کرتے ہیں تمہارے خون پسینے کو نچوڑ کر اپنے لئے محلات بناتے ہیں اپنی ولادوں کے لئے اندرون ملک بیرون ملک بلکہ دنیا بھر کے ممالک میں بینک بیلنس اور ان گنت جائیدادیں خریدتے ہیں-تم کو غلام بنا کر تم کو پاؤں کے نیچے بھی دبا کر رکھتے ہیں اور تمہارے حقوق پر بھی ڈاکہ ڈالتے ہیں۔ وہ کہتا ہے اے لوگو ! تمہارے سامنے دنیا کی بیش قیمت ترین گاڑیوں میں ان کے رشتہ دار ، نوکر چاکر ، ملازم بلکہ ان کے کتے بھی سڑکوں پر فراٹے بھرتے گزر جاتے ہیں ۔ ان سیاہ شیشوں والی گاڑیوں کے پار تم لوگ دیکھ بھی نہیں سکتے کہ ان گاڑیوں میں ان کا کتا سوار ھے یا کوئی نوکر جس کے پروٹوکول پر بیس بیس پولیس گاڑیاں مقرر ہیں۔ یہ خود سڑکوں پر سفر نہیں کرتے ، سڑکوں پر سفر کرنایہ کب کے چھوڑ چکے ہیں ۔بلٹ پروف گاڑیوں میں ان کا سٹاف سفر کرتا ھے جبکہ یہ خود سرکار کے خرچے پر ہیلی کاپٹروں اور چارٹرڈ طیارون میں سفر کرتے ہیں۔ زمین پر کبھی کبھی تقریر کرنے یا مخالفوں کو گالیاں دینے یا ووٹ لینے کے لئے اترتے ہیں۔

وہ ایان علی اور ادھی ، سمدھی کے ایک جیسے کارنامے بیان کرتا ھے ۔ وہ ماہانہ اربوں کی کرپشن اور روزانہ کی منی لانڈرنگ کی کہانیاں لوگوں کو ��ناتا ہے ۔۔۔

یہ یہود ہنود کو بھی ناپسند ہے ۔ یہ دجال کی کہانیاں بیان کرتا ہے ۔ یہ ہندو کے خلاف بولتا ہے یہ امریکہ کی پالیسیوں سے نفرت کرتا ہے ۔۔

اس کے ساتھ اخبار نویس کالم نگار یا اینکر پرسن نفرت کی نگاہ سے دیکھتے ہیں کہ کیونکہ یہ اپنی برادی کو بھی معاف نہیں کرتا۔ ان کی لوٹ مار اور اپنی اپنی پارٹی کی جانب سے نوازے جانے کے قصے سناتا ہے ۔ کمبخت خود تو کرایہ کے گھر میں رھتا ھے باقی سب کو بھی بھوکا ننگا دیکھنا چاہتا ہے ۔

اسے پاگل ہی کہنا چاہئیے۔ کیونکہ ۔۔۔ وہ نام کا ڈاکٹر یعنی اعزازی ڈگری والا، یا خود ساختہ ڈاکٹر نہین (ڈاکٹر رحمن ملک ، ڈاکٹر ، بابر اعوان ، ڈاکٹر طاہر الادری وغیرہ وغیرہ ) بلکہ ایم بی بی ایس ڈاکٹر ہے بہترین اور کہنہ مشق سرجن ہے جس نے بہت بڑے اور کامیاب آپریشن کرکے انسانی جانوں کو بچایا ہے بلکہ ابھی تک ضرورت پڑنے پر انسانی زندگی بچانے کے لئے خدمات پیش کرتا رھتا ھے ۔ وہ بوسٹن یونیورسٹی کا تعلیم یافتہ ہے اس جیسی تعلیم اور ذہانت رکھنے والا کوئی اور تجزیہ کار نہیں ۔ وہ چاھے تو بہترین پرائیویٹ ھاسپٹل بنا کر کروڑوں روپے کما سکتا ہے ۔۔ اس لئے میں بی اسے پاگل ہی کہوں گا۔۔۔

وہ ایک بات کرکے پھنس گیا ہے ۔ وہ کہتا ہے کہ قصور میں پکڑا جانے والا ملزم اکیلا نہیں بلکہ بین الاقوامی ریکٹ سے جڑا ہوا ان کا معمولی کارندہ ھے جبکہ اس سے کام لینے والے اور بہت سے ہیں جو اس کی پشت پناہی کر رہے ہیں اس لئے اس شخص کی پراپر طریقے سے تفتیش کی جائے اسے پولیس کی بجائے گورنمنٹ کے اثر سے آزاد اداروں کے سپرد کرکے ملزم کی تفتیش کروائی جائے تو بہت سے راز باہر آ سکتے بہت سے چھپے چہرے بے نقاب ہوسکتے ہیں۔ کیونکہ ماضی قریب میں اسی بدقسمت شہر قصور میں سینکڑوں بچوں کے ساتھ یہی ظلم کرکے ان کی ویڈیوز بنائی گئی اور اس قصے کو دبا دیا گیا ۔۔اگر کسی مضبوط سرپرست کا ہاتھ نہ ہوتا تو وہ سکینڈل ایسے دبایا نہیں جا سکتا تھا۔۔

تب سب کے صبر کا دامن لبریز ہوگیا ۔ شاید وہ مافیا اتنا طاقتور ھے کہ اس نے راتون رات سب چینلز مالکان کو خرید لیا ، پورے میڈیا اور سوشل میڈیا پر اس کے اس مطالبے کو تفتیش کا رخ موڑنے کا نام دے کر اس کے خلاف محاذ کھڑا کر دیا گیا۔ اس نے بینک اکاونٹس دئیے جو حکومتی بینکوں نے جھوٹے قرار دے دئیے ۔خبریں جھوٹی ہونا یا غلط فہمی کی بنیاد پر خبر دینا کوئی نئی بات نہیں پوری دنیا میں آئے روز بڑے بڑے چینلز اخبارات سے یہ غلطی ھوتی رہتی ہے ۔۔بلکہ اس پر تنقید کرنے والے ھر فرد اور اخبارات چینلز صحافیوں پر فیک خبروں کے الزامات ہیں۔ جن میں سے کئی نے سپریم کورٹ اور فوج جیسے اداروں کے خلاف بھی سنگین قسم کی جھوٹی خبریں دے رکھی ہیں ۔۔

شاہد مسعود کو پھانسی پر لٹکایا جائے ۔۔نمونہ عبرت بنایا جائے ۔۔۔ وہ واقعی ھم سب کا مجرم ھے ۔۔ ھم سب کے چہروں کے سامنے روزانہ شام آئینہ لیکر کھڑا ہوجاتا ھے ۔۔ھمارے گندے کریہہ اور غلاظت سے لتھڑے چہرے ھمیں دکھاتا ھے ۔ ھمیں اوازار کرتا ھے ۔۔۔منہ کا ذائقہ خراب کرتا ھے رنگ میں بھنگ ڈالتا ھے ۔۔

وقت آ گیا ہے اس طرح کے سبھی پاگلوں کو ایک ایک کرکے لٹکا دیا جائے۔ جھوٹے اور منافقوں کے معاشرے میں سچ کا کیا کام ، ضروری ھے سچ کو ٹانگ دیا جائے ۔ نمونہ عبرت بنا دیا جائے ، چلو آؤ اج ھم سب مل کر سچ کو ایک بار پھر پھانسی چڑھا کر اپنا فرض پورا کرتے ہیں۔۔ سچ کو اتنی دیر تک لٹکائے رکھتے ہیں کہ بہت سے سچ پیدا ھونے سے پہلے ہی مر جائیں۔ اور اتنی گہرائی میں دفنایا جائے اس کی قبر پر بھی ایسی گھاس نہ اگ سکے جس میں اس سچ کی مٹی مٹی ہوئی لاش کے ذرات شامل ھوں۔۔
