I just know that X (probably the certain hunters) is absolutely worshiped as a deity to the people of Elysium considering his actions across the X to Zero series. They’re would be murals of him in Neo Arcadia especially in the main capital. Like I KNOW there would be certain ruins littered with those damn things across Terra. God imagining finding those and becoming extremely confused about this holy blue guy.
(Fun fact this actually parallels with Volnutt’s mural facing Juno in Legends one and no I am not fucking joking)

There’s even one in Elysium that they would come to honor him. Especially that before the Master’s death, his Biometal is literally considered sacred so it’s kept somewhere safe. Also it’s unlikely that no one in Elysium (with the exception of the Master) knows thato Trigger is X’s direct Offspring. Plus “MegaMan” is more of a title plus with the Master’s fondness that connection was never made.
Now how is this Tying this to X? Well X has alot of complicating feelings towards those murals or well being considered the equivalent of Jesus Christ. Like he’s extremely uncomfortable with it but also how isolating it feels. He had to deal with that bullshit after the events of the Elf wars. Everyone in that era has this perception that he is this Paragon of good, the Angel of peace of protection. And not just a fellow individual and equal towards others. X isn’t perfect, he's flawed and has to do shit that he loathes in order to keep everyone safe. Plus don’t get him fucking STARTED of getting terrified growing apathy so he has the seal himself way to prevent himself from doing something dangerous-
But here in the legends era? That isn’t the case for anyone. He’s just a regular dude(kinda), a single father of a bunch of rambunctious kids that he looks after. He can do normal people stuff and heal from the pain of his past to be better. But damn seeing those murals (and eventually the Ruins of Neo Arcadia) just makes me feel either a numb sting or just seeing an old scar. He can’t look at it without having those unpleasant feelings. Especially trying to answer Volnutt’s questions about the origins of those murals and pointing them out that he saw it in Kattorx Island’s museum.
He tries but Volnutt learns that there are parts of his father (and Siblings) past that are just…Hard talk about…until their past comes back to haunt them….
