Okay- Bet

Your hands twirled into the fur of the little creature. You weren't sure what the creature was, but it sure was adorable. You were so caught up in the creatures, that you didn't notice a pair of eyes watching you.

That was until you felt a large, fluffy weight being pressed against your back. You squealed as your face smoshes against the ground and you hear apologies from behind you.

"Oh- God, I'm so sorry!"

You groan as you finally get him off you and he stutters over his words. You push your hair out of your face and sigh. You look back to the animal, only to frown when seeing it was gone.

"Oh, Y/n- I swear I didn't mean to-"

"It's fine Lion-o." You push yourself off the ground avoiding his hand.

🦁 He was stalking you before he had fallen on top of you. He thought you looked some cute as you played with the animal. Kind of wants you to run your fingers though his hair like you did the pet

🦁 He finds it hard to talk to you- So when it appears he was stalking you, which he was, he becomes even more tongue twisted

🦁 He feels like such an idiot. You were having such a beautiful moment and he ruined it

🦁 He avoids you after that, because he's worried that you know that he was watching you

🦁 Can't stand his feelings for you because they make him feel so many feelings- Will probably try and initiate to hang out with you if he sees you with another animal- Maybe you can bond over that?

So I was reading your review of Thundercats 2011 The Soul Server, and the things you mentioned there sparked a little thought in my head. So if The Soul Server did take place earlier in the season, I think it would have been if the main lesson of the episode was learned by Tygra. I think it would make more sense for those two than Lion-O, since Lion-O was literally established as loving technology and believing it to exist. I know you could bring up trauma changing his view on it but I don't know, but I still think it would be better for Tygra. For Tygra, it would make sense for him, given that he was very dismissive of Lion-O's interesting and didn't think technology was real until it was literally blowing up his home, it be natural for him to distrust technology and learn about it good qualities. Plus this could back up why Tygra was made to be Panthro's tech buddy (which I still think should have been Lion-O's role but whatever). Though this could just be me feeling like how it was really only Lion-O learning lessons in the early parts of the show and plus I just feel like this type of lesson would better applied to literally any of the Thundercats other than Lion-O or Panthro, I could even see this storyline working for Cheetara.

You raise an excellent point!

That storyline would definitely have fit a lot better for Tygra, we only got very little of his transition from "technology isn't real" to "Panthro's tech buddy" and an episode like The Soul Sever could've helped bridge that gap a lot.

I'm forever salty about the show making Lion-O's love of technology a key part of setting up his character and then just having it evaporate into the ether. Let my son be a nerd, dammit!

But yes, you're also right that the first half of the show was pretty lacking in character focus for everyone but Lion-O. Poor Cheetara's only focus episodes in the whole show are joint episodes shared with Tygra.

I have no idea what was going on behind the scenes of making The Soul Sever, but I think you've definitely got something there.

9 pages of a Thundercats 2011 fan comic that I Sadly never continued. Happen to find them sorting through old stuff in my art room.

These are SO OLD and there is so much wrong with them, but it's still a project I'm proud of.

I wrote a fic for the cartoon that continues this, but that was scrapped mid way through writing it. If I ever find the link to it, I'll post it.

No idea how active the fandom is, but maybe someone will get a kick out of this.
