For our bottoms with cotton gussets, the cotton is GOTS certified, and all future cotton products will carry the certification.

I always recommend prewashing your fabrics to my customers... I almost never do it myself. Which has come back to bite me in the ass SEVERAL times.

So I am now undertaking the monumental task of prewashing my entire fabric stash.

I have to serge the raw edges first otherwise it will roll out of the washing machine a tangled mess. I did a first load a few days ago of most of my viscose. Just now I spent almost an hour serging the edges of about half of mt cottons, not counting the large basket of cottons that are designated for baby clothes. If you would count them I am about a quarter done with all my cottons.

And then I still have the rest of my cottons, my linens, my linenblends, my jerseys, the rest of my viscose, my wools and my silks...

I want everything well dried and ironed before it goed back onto my shelves so I think this is gonna take me a few weeks :P
