Hello and Welcome!
Name's Malloy! Find me on AO3, where one might say I like to write fanfic about villainous older women. Here's my Linktree for what few socials I have; I'm trying to use Bluesky more in particular. Below is an overview of most everything I've written, with links and content ratings.
Critical Role
Imogen Temult/Otohan Thull — welcome aboard my rowboat!
○ The Main Fic — Let Me Lay Waste to Thee (M) and its spin-off (mostly Smut) series — Won’t You Lay Hands on Me (G–E) ○ Canon-adjacent one-shots — A Dance With Danger (M) and These Marks (They're Marvelous) (T) ○ The Poly Hells Cyberpunk AU, cowritten with my bestie @inomakani — Night City, Neon Hearts (E) ○ A shared series with @lavendertheys exploring Imotohan's somft side — you'll never know unless we go (G–T) And for those not yet brave enough to delve into the ship tag but wondering 'wtf do folks see in these two?' — shiver as you cry (mercy) (T) and Don't Think, Don't Blink (M); some good old fashioned, tension-filled Imogen & Otohan (sans blatant shipping)
Liliana Temult/Otohan Thull — the Moon Moms AU (G–E), a series of family-centric one-shots (and like, one smut fic) in which Liliana and Otohan share a somewhat tempestuous history and raise Imogen together.
Imogen Temult/Dancer (E)
Imogen/Fearne/Laudna (T)
Fearne Calloway/Poska (T)
Stray Gods
Grace/Athena (T and E)
Grace/Persephone (T and E)
Through Eyes of Grace (T) — multiship ficlets
The Horizon Series
Aloy/Tilda van der Meer (T–E) — notably, Prometheus Bound (M)
Silga & Untalla (M)
Regalla/Nasadi (T)
Here on Tumblr, I like to post sneak peeks of what I'm working on (published works are tagged #mehoymalloy, while snippets and the like are tagged #wip stuff), as well as updates and general Vibes concerning larger projects, like #night city neon hearts, #judicator au, and #killercop au!
Lastly, feel free to drop me an ask anytime! Yell at me about Otohan Thull, shoot me a random question about my fics, toss me a writing prompt (tho no promises <3) or song recs for my character/ship playlists; I appreciate it all!
Thanks for stopping by!

A1 Liliana/Otohan please~ (and you gotta know I'll be right back with a imotohan ask lol)
Tumblr media
If there is one thing I could add to canon in all of cr, it would be to give Otohan Druidcraft, so that whenever I draw Liliana with flowers in her hair, there is an inherent understanding that Otohan put them there.

Thoughts on Liliana/Otohan?
two extremely powerful middle-aged women and all of the juicy dynamics? yeah, I'm into it. haven't read any fic or looked into any fandom space for them at all but in my head it'd been going on.

CRITICAL ROLE CAMPAIGN 3 EPISODE 91 SPOILERS
Fuck you Sam Riegel, with great love and even greater grief.
“Some connections are made with wire, some are made with love, some are made with wood. But they all matter. And even in this dark cave, they make every day a smiley day.”
I don't feel like talking about....much of anything that happened in this episode. Otohan is gone. Good.
I was....so stressed that entire combat, and at some point, it started feeling like I was... there, watching her get back up every time they knocked her down. It was getting really fucking hopeless and I knew everyone at fhe table was feeling it.
But, God, that moment when matt understood what sam was planning when he described targeting his core. The moment it sunk and shattered his fucking heart is the moment my heart too. The moment Sam started to cry... all of it, every excruciating moment from that point onwards I couldn't stop crying, I don't think I saw the fucking screen for 95% of that.
I cried earlier when Imogen finally got through to her mother. But... I think sometimes I forget how...painful it is for me to lose these characters. The last time I felt this much sorrow and anger and grief, was when Otohan killed Fearne, Orym and Laudna and LYdna couldn't be saved.
We don't know...if we can even save FCG. They're aoerian tech, and that could complicate...everything.
Who will tell Frida that their Faithful Caregiver is gone?

WIP Wednesday (Monday Version)
tagged by @mehoymalloy!
This isn't so much a snippet(TM) as it is a teaser from my outline for the ep91 Imogen whump fic I've been cooking for a minute, but here it is nonetheless:
They’re running through the city and are trapped by Liliana, who confronts Imogen. She seems to successfully convince Liliana to trust her, and Liliana urges Imogen to come with her. Imogen has a split second to choose whether to stay or go, and ultimately ends up promising Laudna that she’ll be back and takes Liliana’s hand and they fly across the city together. Liliana brings her to some central space that has tons of people around and doesn’t let go of Imogen as she heads down the street, then around a corner. Then one hand on her arm becomes both hands actively restraining Imogen, and Otohan appears as if she was waiting for them. “Mama, what is this?” No response.

I have to say, nothing so far is dissuading me from my totally out of nowhere, not canon-supported shipping of Liliana and Otohan.
Especially when they're both known as the Exaltant General and the War Hero.
Like, I do think the Exaltant General is Liliana!
A little sexy villain ship as a treat!
Is it a little fucked up? Of course, it is, but that's what we love, also we have been missing out on sexy villain ships! It's been decades since the Briarwoods!

A Torrid Affair Between Generals
~~~~
I firmly believe that Otohan and Liliana are fucking.
You can't present two powerful women who function as a pair of cult leaders and NOT have me jump into that twisted goodness.
(Also yes I gave up on lines and colouring because I'm tired but enjoy the rare(?)pair)
(Critical Role; Imogen Temult & Liliana Temult & Otohan Thull)
Have a spur of the moment Moon Moms one-shot, inspired by @lavender-temult's weekly "Put Imogen and Otohan in a Box Friday" art. I truly never thought I'd write a sick fic but here we are!
Blood; Callous [Explicit]
• Otohan Thull x Liliana Temult
a tiny bit of smut for everyone's favorite toxic old woman yuri set during C3E49
Word count: 2735
The warm inviting glow of the interior of an unassuming cottage at the end of an empty city street beckons ease within Otohan; a reassuring subtle indicator that the need to relocate hasn’t yet passed. The toe of her boots noisily kick up loose gravel as she approaches the door. Immediately a dullish presence tightens around a thread in her mind and pulls taught. Hostility melts into intrigue before rapidly dispelling when the door opens and shuts behind her. The weeks of sojourn tension slough her shoulders with each heavy step through the soothing ambiance that greets Otohan home. The faint crackle of a fire and lingering aroma of a cooked meal subdue the assiduous itinerant in her chest to sleep. The weeks away have only made her keen to how she will be accepted back.
Even when her back is turned, sharp trained eyes can already assess every minor difference since last they were together.
A new scorch mark blackened the tails of the coat that hung on the chair next to her. Hands reaching for a dish towel reveal deeper scars at a few joints. One less twist at the end of her signature braid. Weatherbeaten skin, burned and tanned to varying degrees along her arms and legs.
Otohan tries her luck. Starting with a hand at the small of her back. Sliding upwards at the shoulder to twist her so they’re face to face.
A new freckle on the cheek. A faint pink line of a cut on her chin.
Purple eyes, outlined by shadowed bruises below dark lashes, still strike cold and piercing as Otohan matches her gaze. She tucks a stray tuft of lilac hair from her brow and rests her hand on the nape of her slender neck. The strong life-beat cadence unique to Liliana thrums under the pads of Otohan's fingers. She can’t help the small smile that lifts the corner of her lips as Liliana’s eyes narrow under her continued scrutiny, waiting for a verbal acknowledgment that may or may not come.
Instead, Otohan reaches for an idle hand. It’s granted without resistance; a good sign. She remembers a time being fascinated with Liliana’s hands—the irrefutable evidence of being chosen. She starts massaging the muscles, caressing the spaces between angry lines of red. The indiscriminate ruddy markings have almost completely overtaken her palm, leaving the remaining skin looking leathery and rough. Otohan sinks her thumbs into the palm and pushes outward in small circles causing Liliana to release a gratifying long-held breath.
Otohan brushes lightly over a fresh callous where Liliana’s fourth finger and palm meet, already starting to heal over. Careful not to press on it, she frowns at the implication. Liliana’s acute gaze never moves from her face. Otohan feels the other woman’s eager regard burn through her restraint to delve into her mind and seek the greeting she won’t verbalize. It’s a silly game they've played for the last few months. One Otohan takes childish pride in majorly winning.
“The expected attendants are confirmed,” Liliana says impatiently if not petulant, accepting the loss for this round. “There’s a report on your desk.”
The thought of going back into the fray after weeks of constant travel overseeing numerous Vanguard divisions should have irritated her but with the solstice so close, the very air holds a charged frequency that energizes every breath inhaled. The anticipation is maddening.
Even now Otohans hands itch to touch more of the woman in front of her, but maintains her poise. She hums. “I heard. I’ll look it over tomorrow.”
“I’m going back in the morning.” Liliana’s voice is short; a dismissal, tired of the game. She retracts her hand and busies herself in the kitchen ladling stew in a bowl and placing it on the table, leaving Otohan to eat. The food is flavorful and hearty. A well-tended meal Otohan can pretend with mild certainty was made in anticipation of her homecoming.
Dark eyes track Liliana around the house as she tends to menial errands, noticing the calculated maneuvering to look everywhere but at Otohan. Another game.
When she's full and satisfied, Otohan lets the chair scrape loudly across the ground as she stands, brushing past Liliana without acknowledgment.
“Will you come to bed?” Liliana asks with thinly veiled suggestion.
“I must be invited to my own bed?”
Liliana does look at her then, eyebrows raised. She nods. Almost as if she had stumbled across a newfound respect for her. A test. And she’s passed.
A strong lavender scent wafts off her with the movement. Otohan’s nose chases after it. “Trouble sleeping?”
The question is unnecessary. She sees it clearly. The sunken droop to her eyes. Her skin in the hollow of her cheeks is a bit paler than normal. But it makes Otohan feel some semblance of vindication that she’s not the only one feeling the effects of this strain of distance between them. Pointing it out is just petty.
Liliana doesn’t answer her. Just huffs in that soft way and takes her hands, guiding Otohan over to their room. Silently removing the dark leather armor and clothing from her body with a practiced familiarity, then undresses herself. A single breath is shared between them when an immediate understanding of the magnitude of what she's tied them to overwhelms the two women.
They’re tangled on the bed in seconds.
Gone are the days of carefully whispered affirmations and drawn-out sensualities. It’s a tangle of clumsy groping and needy lips trying to reacquaint themselves with each other.
Otohan takes a moment to simply breathe over her long-time lover as the willful shift to more deliberate touches and reckless kisses takes them. She watches Liliana squirm while unfastening under her scrutiny. Otohan can sympathize and smiles a rare smile, letting her eyes leer over the lines of her body before coming back onto her face. The other woman’s skin flushes with arousal as the sparse candlelight paints her in warm pinks and golds.
Something in the way her eyes narrow—challenging her; the sight overtakes something haphazard and possessive within Otohan. She would not be able to hide anything from her. Not her nakedness, not her secrets, not her designs for her. Liliana was a panoply overflowing with known carnal delights and Otohan would know every inch of her.
Biting down on her lip, drawing blood, Otohan lowers herself down and etches Liliana’s neck in red rivulets, mimicking the ones that spider across her body.
“You taste like mine,” Otohan mouths on her skin.
It’s violent; kissing and sucking and marking her way down the canvas that riots at her very touch. Liliana tangles her hands along the bed, flailing for something to grab hold of, and finds short strands of gray to coil her fingers around. Tugging Otohan’s hair sharply, bringing her closer to the dusky peak of her nipple to take it between lips and teeth; biting, pulling, teasing, tugging.
Liliana ails for breath as Otohan’s free hand pulls at her neglected nipple, teasing it between rough fingertips before tracing the sides of her body down toward her wet heat, slipping easily between her folds. Otohan slides her fingers in and out of Liliana. Slow, controlled. The way she liked to start. Liliana shivers with each torrid pump of Otohan’s flexed hand, biting her lip to suppress any noise. Locking eyes with the woman who held her at her mercy in defiance; daring her to pleasure her to the point of wanton abandon.
“Brat,” Otohan murmurs hotly against her ear. Adding a second finger, she smirks feeling the bite of Liliana’s nails claw into her back alongside a full-body shudder. There was nothing but the feeling of the woman trembling and twitching underneath her and the determination to make her cry out by her hand.
Otohan continues to coax at her, stretching and curling her fingers into Liliana’s cunt as silky dampness soaks her hand, staining her skin. Otohan chases after every deliberate thrust with a bruising kiss.
Liliana’s mind was a decades-reinforced trap. But strained whimpers of ‘Harder’ and ‘More’ are panted hotly in her mind. Otohan can only stubbornly assume that doesn’t count in their silly game so she redoubles her efforts. She stretches her thumb to her unattended clit. The sudden jerk of Liliana’s hips leaves her gasping her name. Otohan kisses against her temple, a show of already claiming her victory.
Liliana tries the word, “Love,” fumbling around the syllable in her passion, inner walls tensing around Otohan’s fingers. “Me,” she finishes, eyes closed and back arching. Otohan answers her with a kiss, swallowing her gifted moans as she becomes more frantic in her pace, feeling the start of Liliana’s orgasm crest.
Bitten whimpers and choked moans that ardently praise Otohan’s entire being guide Liliana’s release. Otohan traces her erratic pants, watching as the light from the hall curves around and embraces the glow of her feverish skin. Liliana’s marks burn a deeper hue of red than the rest of her flushed body. She's beautiful, and Otohan’s heart dares to ever pretend otherwise.
Otohan tilts her head upwards and tastes her deeply again, lips bruising into each other as Liliana recovers. Twitching hands sloppily find purchase on tanned skin, groping and branding her flesh with doled marks. Her touch glides—marveling at how effortlessly she can run her hands across Otohan’s body without any hitch of lightning-like scarring.
A brief respite is all Liliana needs before responding in kind to Otohan’s antics. She nudges and presses her hips to one side cueing Otohan to let them switch positions, which she could easily have accomplished without the query. It sends a fluttering thrill low in her belly when Otohan complies. They both had been waiting for this.
She's upright, shifting her legs so they straddle across Otohan’s hips. Liliana gazes down at her lover through lidded eyes, hands resting just below her breasts, fingers twitching in anticipation. The litany of lightning bolt marks across her entire body pulse faintly in tandem with every heavy exhale expended. Simmering magic held in anticipation, edging to burst, eager for release.
At this angle, Liliana’s hair pools over her shoulder, catching the dimming light around them and still managing to glow brighter.
“Do it,” Otohan urges harshly, arching her back ever so slightly to pronounce her body to the unyielding specter above her. Bright eyes, erratic with lust and some other less pronounceable emotion. Admiration, perhaps. She shows it to her so rarely as of late that Otohan hardly knew how to recognize it.
Eyes suddenly flash white and an electric shock jolts through Otohan’s body. Stealing breath and fatigue with each accelerated beat of crackling energy. Liliana grinds her hips downward in slow even rounds to add an already throbbing pressure within, until soon enough her movement becomes jagged and choppy, sending Otohan carrening over the edge along with her.
All Otohan can hear is her own breathing, shallow and unwieldy, as her chest rises and falls evenly once Liliana is spent. Body still twitching and buzzing in the aftermath, Otohan sprawled still on her back is reinvigorated, attempting to gently buck her hips upward trying to find purchase from the other woman. Liliana lifts from her hips to persist contributing to any building sensation.
Ignoring Otohan’s instruction, Liliana takes to her body viciously, leaving dark bruises in her wake while snaking down the other woman’s body. Any protest immediately dies in Otohan’s mouth as Liliana callously spreads her legs to expose her wanting cunt.
Otohan arches in Liliana’s direction as she ravishes and prods her body with her mouth and touch. Long tender strokes of her tongue quickly push her already sensitive body to a rapidly approaching climax. With no chance of a breather Liliana’s pace quickens, running her tongue in firm circles around Otohan’s swollen clit. She comes hard and fast. Liliana’s name the only word on her gasping lips.
Otohan begins to rise, using her elbows as support, once strength and cognition return to her. She pulls Liliana back underneath her, mumbling something softly in response. They kiss, exchanging soft reassurances and sweet admirations. Tongue and teeth and lips slide against each other, reminding the other of a more solemn gentler time. Liliana tilts her head back to open her neck again to Otohan’s attention. Bodies move and shift against each other finding any purchase of friction they can as that insatiable coiling heat builds again.
Liliana slots her thigh against Otohan’s pulsing center of heat. Her muscled abdomen rises to the challenge of setting a fast and desperate rhythm. Wasting no time, sweat begins to slick Otohan’s body for a smoother glide against her lover. Liliana burrows her own fingers in her wet cunt following the pace Otohan sets. Nails grip at Liliana’s waist, holding her in place for a steadier thrust. Liliana gasps at the pain.Otohan can feel her thrumming heartbeat through her buzzing body, eyes hooded in content, mouth parted ever so slightly.
The heady scent of their lovemaking and subtle note of lavender mix together and falls across their senses, edging them further. Bodies tense and twitch together as one. They come together, a rare and desperate feat, leaving little indication of where one woman’s cries of pleasure started and the other took over. The release leaves their bodies languid and loosely tangled together. Flushed sensitive skin folds together as waves of pleasure continue to ride them.
Liliana’s fingers weakly tug on the ends of Otohan’s hair, in a gesture that halts the need to continue for now.
The two women are still for a moment, lost in the deathly calm of euphoria where their breathing evens together, chests falling and rising in unison, until they drift.
~~~~~
“—we’ve been toys since the beginning. I wish you could understand. I wish you all could understand.”
Dark bleary eyes open slowly, catching the tail end of a forlorn conversation. It’s dark outside but the now visible leylines in the sky bath the room in a soft ribboned hue of pastels. Liliana sits back on her hands with a tired exhale, unaware of Otohan’s eyes on her. Or maybe completely aware. As her mind was never shuttered from her.
“Any luck this time?” Otohan dares to ask. She knows it’s an off-limits topic since Otohan returned from Bassuras with a tale that fed silence to Liliana for hours. But she can’t help thinking maybe this time. And she’s feeling bold after their overdue passionate night in each other’s arms.
Liliana only looks at her over her shoulder. Guarded—if not unwelcome. Silence is her answer.
“She only need see what we do.” Otohan runs a hand along her bare back tracing the mesmerizing pattern there. She pushes her luck. “You should have seen her, Lili. Powerful.” She presses a bit harder into her back, dimpling the skin. “An unknowing growing bud waiting to flourish. Ready to coax the sun to her side and swallow it whole. Just like you. Only needing the guidance of—,”
“Stop.” Liliana’s gentle command is amplified by an otherworldly echo.
Familiar sharp-cut tendrils wrap around Otohan’s mind and force her to obey. It comes so quickly that she is powerless to fight against it. Her mouth snaps shut at the same time her body tightens to an uncomfortable degree. Then just as quickly, it fades.
She doesn’t let it bother her. In the last few months, there’s been a strange kind of obstacle between them that she isn’t sure how to maneuver around. In time Otohan is sure her patience will bear fruit.
So close to the solstice, it’s unsurprising if they’ve both changed in some fashion. They were finally coming into their long-awaited roles. Otohan was no longer a pawn of war who would devote her whole being to an unanswering god and imagine how it could have gone differently. She was a single point of blind-focused agony that would go on unending until the call from Predathos was answered. She had done what she had to do in the years leading to the solstice, and in doing so she had destroyed what semblance of the world she still held on to with the woman she loved.
Liliana had her part in this and Otohan had hers. They’d built this operation, in part, together and that was worth more than the daughter Liliana left to seemingly protect.
Otohan is sure of it.

Hi. Creator (at least on AO3) of the Liliana/Otohan & Imogen Family AU here. Reading some of these tags (though not yours, OP, to be clear) is a trip because
1) multiple family AUs? Outside of what I've written, the artwork I commissioned, and the handful of people who got behind the dynamic and started creating their own stuff recently? Where?? Because I would like to see and encourage them.
And 2) while I've caught glimpses of a subset of the fandom vilifying Relvin while being more lenient with Liliana, I just do not see the correlation between that discourse and the family AU (I mean hell, I'm giving the mans his own fic in the Moon Mom series just to give him the opportunity to live up to his potential as a dad and haunt Liliana and Imogen with his absence for the rest of the series, but that's a whole other post lol)
Anyways, do y'all know you can dislike a certain AU without being rude?
I (and like, idk, 4 others lol) am just chillin' in a corner of the sandbox; maybe don't come over just to call it ridiculous and air out irrelevant discourse.
Boy math is when you (certain parts of this fandom) vilify the parent who stayed (Relvin) but excuse and love the parent who left (Liliana)
