Snarry-a-Thon is an annual fest of Snarry goodness that always brings so much creativity and joy in the Snarry community. I am forever blown away by how much talent and passion Snarry-lovers have. With that in mind, I wanted to create some special recs for a fest near and dear to my heart.

Well, that's not alright because I don't the way you lie

Eu sempre tive medo de ser traída. Minha avó foi traída, minha mãe foi traída mais vezes do que eu posso contar. Eu sempre tive medo de abrir meu coração e ele ser levado. Sem meu controle. É patético, não é? Eu esperei até os 15 anos para beijar a primeira vez, eu esperei até os 16 para ter um crush, namorar ele... Viver o conto de fadas...

Por que eu acreditei? Por que eu esqueci de quem eu era ontem? Ela tinha mais controle sobre o que acontecia e agora eu estou aqui pegando fogo, vendo cada pedaço meu coração queimar enquanto me escuto chorar. Eu devo mesmo amar mentir pra mim mesma.

Eu deveria ter visto os padrões, deveria ter entendido que não era eu toda vez... Era ele também! Mas eu o amava demais, o suficiente pra ouvir uma sinceridade na voz dele, mesmo quando no fundo eu sabia que era mentira.

Era quase 1 da manhã, dentro da escola enquanto Lilian corria pelos corredores com os olhos tão cheios de lagrimas que ela mal poderia ver um centímetro em sua frente com clareza. Seus pés a guiavam enquanto em sua cabeça ela ouvia um zumbido e era afogada por memorias. Memorias que não eram reais. Talvez nunca tivessem sido.

Foi no corredor para as escadas da torre que ela escorregou. A água da chuva torrencial que caia naquela madrugada não ajudava em nada a organizar os pensamentos da garota que iam de seu primeiro beijo a sua avó, sua mãe, e bem a ele...

A ruiva se abraçou, passando os braços em torno de suas pernas com mais força do que deveria naquele momento, suas pernas ficariam roxas. Era uma questão de sobrevivência. De se manter inteira.  Como ele pode?

No primeiro capítulo daquela história, o futuro deles parecia tão brilhante e então tudo ficou tão feio... E ela deixou, ela não pôs um fim, talvez ela fosse tão culpada quanto ele.

Talvez tenha se passado, uma hora desde que ela havia se sentado ali contra a parede revivendo todas aquelas dores, talvez cinco minutos, talvez um ano ou vida. Era impossível dizer. Ela mal podia respirar... Mas qual era o sentido afinal de contas?

Ela se levantou escorada na parede, como se seu corpo pesasse o dobro do que realmente pesava, colocou um pé na frente do outro e lutando contra as lagrimas que voltavam a atormentar, ela começou a andar. Precisava chegar em seu quarto, em sua cama. Ela não podia ser vista assim. O que ele pensaria dela?

Pela primeira vez em muito, muito, muito tempo as palavras de Severus naquela tarde voltaram a sua cabeça: “Quem poderia amar uma sangue sujo como você?” Bem, não Amos. Ele não poderia... Ou a culpa era dela? Ela não poderia amar ele com tudo aquilo?

Ela não se deu conta de dizer a senha para mulher gorda, ela mal estava presa a terra quando deu se conta de James Potter parado, sozinho no meio do salão comunal sorrindo para ela. Pela primeira vez ela notou como ele combinava com aquele lugar, ele aquecia o lugar como a lareira acesa.

Não que ela e James fossem amigos... Mas naquele momento, ele parecia com algo para se agarrar, antes que a terra a engolisse ou a gravidade a levasse. Não havia o que pensar... Ela se jogou nos braços dele em silencio enquanto chorava.

Motivos pelos quais Sirius Black odiava Severo Snape:

1 - Snape era insuportável. Acho que deveríamos primeiro pensar QUEM não odiava o Snape, fora a Lilian que com o tempo só foi tolerando ele e os amigos comensais dele. Ele sempre foi extremamente hostil e arrogante, o Sirius foi só mais um que não aguentava isso.

2- Snape odiava James Potter. Sirius é um personagem bastante leal, e seu melhor amigo era James Potter, não tinha como odiar um sem odiar o outro. Qualquer um que James odiasse ou que o incomodasse, Sirius não teria a menor simpatia. Portanto, Snape, como o grande rival de James, recebeu o ódio por tabela.

3 - Snape representava tudo o que Sirius odiava. Snape era um sonserino orgulhoso, e mesmo sendo mestiço, concordava com as divisões e discriminações do sangue bruxo. Sirius odiava tudo o que remetia à essas coisas, principalmente porque elas o lembravam de sua família.

4 - Snape queria Sirius morto. Em O Prisioneiro de Azskaban, o professor Lupin tenta explicar ao Snape a inocência de Sirius, mas ele não só se recusa a ouvir como diz que levará Black até os dementadores para que eles lhe dêem o beijo do dementador (significa ter sua alma sugada, basicamente). Creio que o Sirius não se esqueceu dessa ameaça depois.

5 - Headcanon: o destino foi injusto. Eu acredito que Sirius, depois de ter passado doze anos em Azskaban sem ter feito nada de errado, deve ter se sentido bastante injustiçado em ver alguém como o Snape, um comensal da morte que matou e torturou pessoas, vivendo sua vida normalmente sem ter pagado por nenhum dos seus crimes.

6 - Um motivo que faria Sirius odiá-lo ainda mais: Snape quem contou para o Voldemort sobre a profecia que resultou no assassinato dos Potter. Se o Sirius soubesse dessa parcela de culpa que Snape tinha na morte dos seus melhores amigos, ele o odiaria muito mais. É até engraçado pensar que os dois quase se encontraram na noite de 31 de outubro. Se Sirius o tivesse visto naquela cena naquele momento, talvez Hogwarts teria um professor de Poções diferente (se é que me entendem).

The time has come to announce this weekend’s events! Since the overwhelming complaint on campus seems to be people refusing to interact with those outside of their immediate friend group, I decided to go ahead and pair everyone for this event, whether you signed up or not. This is an easy, fun thing that is meant to get everyone involved and talking. Please be kind and courteous, and show respect for your partner by showing up and participating. It’s simple, and not time consuming. 

For PART1  of the event, I have paired everyone on campus. This weekend, take an hour to sit down with your partner, and play an icebreaker, “get to know you” game. Come up with a list of 10 questions to ask, and ask them! I’ll be posting some suggestions tomorrow, you’re welcome to take one of the lists  provide, or you can make your own. Either way, ask your partner questions that encourage you to really get to know them! I chose not to go the “just talking” route, and add in the requirement/request of asking specific questions, so that nothing fizzles out and everyone gets the chance to speak with their partner. 

PART2 will come tomorrow afternoon, at the Unity Cookout! I’ll be hosting this in the courtyard, enjoying the warm weather they’re calling for. There will be games, snacks, a campfire, a BBQ, and all the fun things we love about a good cookout. However, at one point in the day, you will b e asked to talk about what you learned about your partner! If you have questions, let me know!
