Lilette Suarez x fem! reader
Warnings: MDNI, smut— fingering, some oral, slight degradation, spanking(reader receiving), pet names
In which Lilette absolutely cannot keep her eyes off of reader, and soon fantasising alone wasn’t enough.
With summer approaching, the weather was turning warm, it gave you the perfect opportunity to show off your new skirt. Skirts weren’t something you wore often, but today you were just in the mood to do so. Unlike Lilette who wore a pretty nice balance of pants and skirts, you gravitated towards pants most of the time. So whenever you did wear a skirt, Lilette had a specific reaction. Usually nice and shy, she’d be extra touchy once she sees you in a skirt. You weren’t going to complain about the extra affection and attention from your girlfriend, but it made it very difficult for you to stay focused.
You drove by Lilette’s to pick her up, like you always do. The girl stopped dead in her tracks the moment she opened the passenger seat’s door. Her eyes go wide for a moment, “Oh. Wow.”
“So subtle, Lil.” You teased, “Like what you’re seeing?”
“Sure do.” Lilette grins, getting into the seat and shutting the door.
“Not that look.” You sigh with a laugh, about to give in to the urge you were feeling. “We have a half day, could you just…wait till we get out of school for the day?”
She could tell you were frustrated, but went with your request anyway and left you to drive in peace. Your skirt wasn’t too short— you didn’t get dress-coded. But some people looked a second too long and Lilette got a little bit upset about it. Your relationship wasn’t under wraps, you two were pretty open. Both of you showed some affection publicly, but never anything over the top.
Except for those days that you’ve worn a skirt: her kisses lingered, she’d have an arm protectively around your waist, she’d lean on you while standing beside you, her touches also weren’t innocent— you’d know she was trying to tease you and rile you up. Usually, you fought the urge. Only letting her have her way with you after class. But it seems that today was going to be the exception. When break time rolled around, it had been two hours since school’d started. Your question was answered when Lilette came up to you frantically and just pulled you away into a janitor’s closet the. locked the door. You smirked, knowing exactly what she wanted.
“You’ve been distracting me.” She says, arm reaching to your back to wrap around you, “Can’t get you out of my head.” Lilette sighs softly, hand going up your face to cup your cheek, “Do you mind if I just— did it, here?”
You shook your head silently, leaning forward to kiss her first. Lilette kisses back with fervour, tongue so quickly sliding into your mouth kicking up the intensity rapidly. She had pressed you up against the wall, pushing your skirt and underwear down to your ankles roughly. You whined at her eagerness, feeling the ache in between your thighs already.
“Fuck.” You mumbled, the word almost instantly getting swallowed by Lilette’s hungry kisses.
You feel her two fingers rubbing your clit and effectively riling you up, applying just the right amount of pressure. You whine, legs going apart a little more on reflex. Lilette grins, almost pervertedly, sliding her fingers lower smoothly. They enter you without you even realising. Her pace was relentless, and her gesture was rough as she repeatedly hammered your g-spot making your knees buckle.
A hand of hers was now firmly holding onto your hip to keep you standing. The discomfort quickly dies down and gets replaced by pure pleasure, feeling the slick dripping down your thighs. You whined softly, hand on her shoulder for more support, but Lilette moved fast— now kneeling before your cunt and swiftly started circling her tongue around your clit to give it the attention it was so quickly craving. “So wet, y/n…what a needy little thing you are.” Lilette says while massaging your inner thighs and watching your face contort and your body react as expected…right in front of your eyes.
“Shut up.” You said in a pant, head leaned back slightly against the wall.
“Really?” Her eyes flicked up to look at you, “Are you sure?”
“Are you seriously going to just stop like this after being so touchy since the minute I saw you? You know what you were doing.” You sigh, vexed.
“No.” Lilette stated, “I can edge you. Make you so soaking wet you’ll be ready to take anything and everything once we get home.”
“Fuck’s sake, Lil.” You exhaled harshly, “What the fuck.”
She smirks, burying her face in your cunt again, teasing your clit with her tongue. You bucked your hips upward, pushing yourself closer to her face. Her hold on your thighs tightened to keep you from moving any more.
You whimpered feeling your climax approaching so ridiculously quick. But Lilette was an expert, or so she claims. She knows the difference in your taste when you were close. She detaches herself from you then started to clean you off with a pack of tissues she had in her pocket. Once she was the one in control, you couldn’t resist letting her use you however she wanted. You were okay with it— so okay with it. Because you knew how intense the eventual release would be and you were more than happy to suffer a little bit and have that much pleasure later on.
"Okay, fuck. Fine. I'll— I'll wait."
"Good girl." She flashes you sweet smile, finishing her task of cleaning you up then let you get dressed again.
————
After lunch, all your classes were with Lilette and she always sat beside you so you were in hell for the last...nearly three hours. Shifting uncomfortably in your seat every once in awhile, and especially when you felt her eyes on you. You glared at her every time, but she only got more happy about it seeing your frustration amp up so easily. "Book report, due next Wednesday. No exceptions." The teacher says, "Any questions?"
The teacher waited a little bit, no hands were raised.
"Lilette, eyes up front."
You looked down and couldn't help but smile, she sees it though. But hey, she stopped staring at you for the remainder of the class. Which...wasn't long but at least she stopped and made it easier for you to sit through the class. Ten minutes later, the class concludes. Mrs. Wallaker dismisses you all. You left the classroom before anyone could stop you, with Lilette right behind you, holding onto your hand. Both of you hurried into your car and you just drove back to yours without a single word being uttered. Once the car started moving, so did Lilette's hand. It finds its way under your skirt, pushing your underwear aside to slip her fingers up and down your folds.
"Excuse me?" You squinted at her. Lilette only grins, knowing you'd fold in 3...2...1. Your features relaxed, focusing your attention on the road while she carries on teasing you. "If I crash the car, it's on you." "Pull over. I'll drive." She says, fingers still moving. You did and quickly switched seats with her so Lilette could finish the remainder of the drive. Twenty minutes. During which, you finally got your release. Completely just soaking the leather beneath you. "Needy." She says with a smirk, pushing her fingers into you one last time forcefully just to see you squirm and hear you yelp. "Do you think you're done yet?" She asks in a quiet voice. There was a right answer she was expecting.
"Mm—" Your breathing hitches as she caresses your thigh, you flinch, "No. No, I'm not."
Once she parks your car in the garage, the both of you scrambled out of the car and entered the house through the door in the garage. Quickly stumbling into your room, Lilette shut and locked the door even though no one was home. Better to be safe than sorry, after all. You'd barely kicked your shoes off before you got pushed onto your bed. Almost toppling over, she stops you and removed your jacket, then your tank top, and your skirt. Leaving you, almost entirely naked. She admires you for a little while before the remaining articles of clothing get removed by her as well in a hurry.
You lay flat on your back, her hand— one fondling with your breast while the other traced your body then found its way back in between your thighs. You cried out, shocked by how sensitive you were. Lilette knowingly went soft and slow, but your wetness returned with a vengeance and spread quickly. "Holy shit, baby." Lilette laughs, almost huskily, sending a shiver down your back. "What?" You ask breathlessly.
"You look heavenly." She says, holding your nipple between two fingers and twisting it.
You whined, desperate for her to fuck you again.
"So sweet, so pretty..." She whispers into your ear, kissing a trail downwards while her fingers were stagnant inside you. You squirmed, "Lil, please...please."
She hums, tugging your sensitive nipple between her teeth. You whimper, much to her delight. She loved how you were sounding right now. Loved it. She also knew what you wanted, but she wanted you to say it out loud. "Please, what?" Her fingers twisted in you as she asks. A tear slips down your cheek, your frame trembling.
"Fuck— fuck me. Fuck me please." You beg, breathing irregular.
Her fingers started moving, steadily increasing their pace. You entirely matched up to her speed, your noises too, letting her have that enjoyment of hearing you curse and swear, making all sorts of noises for her and moaning her name as she pushes you closer.
"Mm— ah— ah— my god..." Your voice was so shaky as you fought the tears welling up in your eyes.
"You're making such pretty noises for me right now, love. How could I have you stop?" Her voice was still low, which you adored in these moments. It helped in making you climax and this girl knew it, that's why she was talking like that. You yipped when you felt her thumb pressing against your clit while her fingers poked your g-spot continuously. "I need to come...please, Lil." You felt like you were about to burst.
"Okay, go for it." She shrugs, her fingers still working your sensitive spots. "Come now."
You unravel on her command, body shaking as you finally got forced into tears. You feel the absurd intensity of every single sensation you experienced at you rode through your second high. You head was giddy with pleasure, your vision blurry being clouded by the tears. "Keep going, I know you can take it." Lilette urges, her pace quickening again to coax another climax. You were fully sobbing as another wave of pleasure over took your entire body. You felt it, you heard it. You also saw her looking at you through it all. That made your cheeks flush and you avoided her gaze. "Look at me." Her voice gentle, but authoritative. You licked your lips, inevitably tasting your tears. Your head slowly turned back to face her. Her free hand strokes your cheek, you vaguely saw her smile. "Can you give me another one, y/n? Or do you want me to stop?"
You shook your head no on reflex, pleasure overtaking everything. You needed that release. You wanted to give it to her. Her fingers retract and you felt a slap, then another. You started clenching around nothing. She goes again, then her fingers slip inside, slamming into you unendingly. You backed up, but not for long. Lilette yanks you back down, focused on making you come for the third time. Right before you came, you feel her mouth on you as her fingers carried on fucking you. You filled it up, and was finally feeling your body relax once her pace became languish. Your tentative hand in her hair lets go, falling to your side lazily as your chest heaved, desperate to catch your breath.
She removes herself from you soon enough, then was laying next to you, brushing the hair out of your face and pressing tiny little kisses all over it. “Did I go too rough?” Lilette asked.
Still in tears and somewhat breathless, you shook your head and continued to take in some slow, deep breaths. “No. I would’ve told you to stop if you were.”
She pulls you closer and you snuggled against her chest, finger fiddling with her silver necklace. “Are you hungry?”
“Yeah.” You muttered.
“I’ll order us some food? What do you want?”
“Tacos.” You told her.
“Yum, okay.” Lilette agrees, pressing a kiss to your forehead before breaking away from the embrace to go locate her phone so that she could order the food. You laid sleepily in your bed as you watched her find her phone and scrolled through the delivery app to place an order for what you wanted. Placing your favourite order, she was quickly back by your side giving you cuddles. “I’ll wake you up when the food gets here.” She says while stroking your hair. You hummed, nodding against her chest while one of your arms was wrapped around her in the front. “Okay.”
“Mhm.” She answers, then playing with your hair till you dozed off, “Get some rest, sweet girl. I’ll stay right here.”

There was something about the rainbow-charged air that called out to her, caressing Lilette’s smooth, soft cheek like a lover's whisper. It tugged at her seams, drawing her out of herself, out of her duties, and into a space she hadn't known existed. Safety was paramount to her—safety as the spirits intended. In her youth, coming out had meant risking crucifixion, being burned at the stake or facing a world that just didn't advocate for her. She never imagined she would one day stand tall amidst a crowd, all wearing the same pride on their faces. The notion that a time machine might have informed her of this future would have made her guffaw. Instead, she basked in the warmth of the sun, soaking up the Vitamin D.
The COFFEEKANTEEN, a quaint coffee shop with an eclectic charm, was a haven for those who craved the hug of a roasted bean. The employee behind the counter handed her coffee cup with care—a nonbinary lesbian flag wrapped around it as they affirmed her name, Lilette Vaz. She moved to evade the path of other pick-ups, her shoulder bumping into another. A beautiful young woman with bright brown eyes stood before her, eyes that seemed to carry an extraordinary depth, as if they held hidden strength and resilience within their irises.
“Pardon me,” Lilette apologized, a soft chuckle escaping her lips. “I didn’t mean to bump you, I was just trying to get out of the way, and here I am, in the way.” She laughed lightly, the sound blending with the hum of the coffee shop. “You alright, dear?” Her voice was warm and genuine, her concern for the stranger evident.

annabelle mallard ✰✰ lilette vaz
Annabelle could not stand being stuck indoors for too long. The walls closed in on them, the air felt too stagnant, even the light was not very good. Outdoors - that was precisely where they belonged. Yes, especially on rainy days. She didn't have an umbrella, but bright yellow rain boots and a coat to match. On her break at work, she not only wanted, but needed to stretch their legs and clear their head. Much like a child, she crouches next to a deep puddle of mud, where they witness small creatures jumping about. What were they -- frogs? Fish? Insects? With her head turned to the side, Annabelle looks up. With their luck, perhaps one of the smartest people they'd seen were walking across the street. "Hey -- you!" She exclaims, with no care for subtleties or nicities. "Do you know much about bugs?" They ask. "Or...maybe frogs? There's something living in here, and I can't tell what it is."

"I didn't know for certain, Amoreco," she replied softly, her voice carrying the weight of their cherished time together and apart. The years of companionship and love with Helia are the very essence of her existence, the foundation upon which her heart and soul rest. "I hoped. I hoped with every fiber of my being that you would still see the love I have for you, that you would recognize the depth of my remorse and the sincerity of my return."
Taking Helia's hand in hers, she pressed a kiss to her knuckles, a gesture both reverent and affectionate. "I told myself- promised myself that I'd understand if you have reservations, and if there's a part of you that needs time to fully trust me again, then I want to earn that trust back, step by step, day by day." Their love is a sanctuary for Lilette, a place where she finds solace and peace amidst the chaos of the world. It is a beacon that guides her through the darkest times, a constant reminder of the light and warmth that Helia brings into her life. The companionship they share is not just about being together; it is about understanding, support, and a deep-rooted sense of belonging. Helia is not just her spouse but her confidante, her partner in adventure, and the one who sees her most vulnerable and authentic self.
"What I want, more than anything, is to be by your side, to share our lives again, and work hard for you- for us."
Helia wasn’t sure if she needed assurances or if she could be satisfied with this. The spirits seemed to want her to embrace the loneliness and the sadness she’d experienced before, to recall how horribly alone she’d felt when Lilette had been gone. But Helia was a positive soul, always had been, so she fought back to one important point: Lilette had come back. It was what she wanted to focus on. Her beautiful face, her steadfast voice, how nobody else could make her flutter and feel so light and happy.
The little voice was still in the back of her head, telling her that she shouldn't take back Lilette so quickly, after she’d left, after she’d been away from her for those two years. Reminding her that she was going too fast, she was already offering Lilette to come back home, was that really what she wanted? Should she not put her foot down and demand more apologies? But why would that solve the situation? What she wanted was for Lilette to hold her in her arms and for them to do all the things they used to do, to have dinner together, watch a movie together, go shopping together.
She smirked lightly. “So you knew I’d just take you back like that?” she asked. Of course Lilette would know, they knew her better than anyone else.

Can the child within my heart rise above?
Lilette Suarez x fem! reader
Warnings: age regression, fluff, biiiit of angst
The last of these age regression fics (for Auli’i’s characters)
Lilette has been on edge all morning. You knew something definitely happened last night after you dropped her off. In the desk next to you, there she was, bouncing her leg and picking at her nails. You squinted at her, concerned.
“Lil.” You leaned over, tapping her shoulder. She jumped, almost letting out a yelp. Her head snapped towards your direction and looked at you. Her eyes…they told you she was anxious.
“You okay?” You asked quietly.
“No.” She admits.
“Do you wanna leave?”
“Can’t.” She mumbled, “Just got here.”
“I mean, go home. To my place.”
“Why?”
“Lil, do you need to go home?” You asked again, tone even softer, a hand on her forearm.
“No.” She insisted.
You knew something was going to go wrong, but you didn’t want to push her too much harder. You didn’t want to make things worse. But you were also worried— Lilette has never declined going home early, especially since you knew that she age regresses. Of course you’d become more vigilant about her, overall. Just so that she wouldn’t slip into the headspace in public. She tends to be pretty violent when regressed— temper tantrums, meltdowns, the works. Stuff gets thrown, even clothes make her feel overstimulated. You knew that, you wanted to avoid that happening in public and ensure that she has a safe space to get through it. That would be exceptionally hard to do in school.
Some months ago, you managed to get some of her classes swapped out for her safety. Now she had most of her classes with you, if not, Simon.
With every period, Lilette seemed to be more and more out of sorts. Her focus became worse with each hour. By lunchtime, she was on the verge of tears. “Lilette.” You took her wrist, forcing her to look at you, “Listen to me. I’m taking you home.”
“No.”
You bit back a sigh, sternly, you repeated yourself, “I am going to take you home. Now. You need to be home, okay? I don’t want you to be here and hurting yourself because you’re making yourself not feel what you need to feel.”
Simon handed her backpack to you, smiling kindly. “I’ll come by later with snacks?” He smiled hopefully.
There it was, that little glint in her eyes that let you know she was fighting the urge to regress. Excited, she nods. And finally, she agreed to let you take her home. The school was aware of this circumstance— to an extent. So they let her leave early when needed. And you too. Obviously, it was a necessary thing to let them know as well. You couldn’t just disappear along with her.
She sat in the front with you on the drive home, like always. But, she could barely sit still. You placed your hand on her thigh, “Baby, close your eyes. Deep breaths.”
She does so like you asked, you knew how hard she was trying. But it was a little too late for a complete avoidance of a meltdown. She’d masked for too long. You two were usually in your room by 11am. Now it was past 12:30 in the afternoon already. Anyway, you had parked your car in the driveway. Well, the car was barely stopped but Lilette was already unbuckling her seatbelt and ready to get out. You sigh, “Sweetie.” That was a warning and she was aware, she just didn’t want to listen, “I told you not to get out of the car until it’s fully parked.”
Obviously, without your keys, she couldn’t get inside. So she stomped her way up to the porch and had to wait for you to catch up. You were already rushing because you knew a meltdown was literal minutes away, maybe even sooner. Once you unlocked the front door, Lilette ran upstairs to your bedroom and plopped onto the bed. A few seconds later, she was face down and wailing into your mattress. You slowly sat down next to her, “Lilette. I’m gonna get you a change of clothes, okay? You wanna pick out your pyjamas?”
“No.” She mumbled, shaking her head.
You’ve been stressed out too, and as much as you wanted to put in your 100% of effort to care for her, her tantrum was making things more difficult. Your mind was racing, or maybe it felt like it was going to explode. You set down the pyjamas that she chose more often and kept the other one back in your closet.
“Lilette.” You patted her on the back, then caressed it as if to soothe her, “Baby, sit up please. Let me help you get changed. I know that shirt doesn’t feel nice.”
She doesn’t budge at first but nearly kicked you off the bed. You have no idea why it was so bad this time. That was it, that did it for you, you got away from her and shut her inside your room, “Fine, do it yourself if you’re gonna choose to kick me.”
————
There was tightening in your chest as you ran out of your room. Lilette was the complete opposite now compared to her usual self. You were all too familiar with it, and why. But when things like that happen, you couldn’t help but feel a rush of anxiety. Maybe it was fear too, when she got to the point of needing to release her emotions through physical violence. You’ve learnt to leave her alone in a safe space when you couldn’t get through to her. As tough as that was initially, it was best for the both of you. You wound up in the living room, curled up on the end of the couch. A sigh left your lips, shaky. A painful feeling formed in your throat…that dreaded lump. Your breathing gets ragged, the tightness in your chest was wounding up so tight you thought your ribs might crack. You couldn’t cry, you couldn’t do that right now. Lilette needed you. She needed you to take care of her.
A few deep breaths later, you decided to swallow your tears and just lay there until you were certain Lilette was calm. You checked on her about twenty minutes later and it was silent in your room. She was asleep— changed into the pyjamas you’ve laid out for her, too. The outfit she was wearing at school was already in the hamper. A sigh of relief comes as you walked up to her and pulled the blanket to cover her properly…you couldn’t have her getting cold, the weather was changing. Leaving the door of your room ajar, you took this time to shower and freshen up. During which, you finally let the floodgates open and cry. It felt good to finally let go of the pent up stress from school, and your work. You didn’t have to have that gloomy cloud hanging over your head anymore. While waiting for Lilette to wake up and school to let out, you started working on the homework you had in your bag already.
You were so deep in thought, you didn’t realise that Lilette had woken up. Not until you heard the creak of the stairs behind you. You saw her climbing back upstairs quietly, then you felt that tug in your heart. Did she need something? Did she call for you and you didn’t hear her? Your phone screen lit up and the device buzzed, snapping you out of your head. It was Simon informing you that he was on his way. You quickly replied to him then trudged upstairs hurriedly to check on Lilette.
She was sitting at your desk, colouring in a sheet — Strawberry Shortcake. You got that colouring book for her because she was begging for it at the store. You pushed the door open softly, knuckles knocking against the solid material, “Sweetie.”
She turned to look at you, her hand stopped moving as it held onto a red colour pencil. “How are you feeling?” You asked carefully.
“I’m okay now.” Lilette answered your question in a similar tone, but you could hear the underlying tense tone. She was scared that you’d be angry. “I’m sorry.” She inhaled deeply, putting the pencil down and then turning her body to face you completely.
“I should have listened to you.” She carried on, “You knew what was best for me. But I nearly hurt you.”
Tears brimmed at her eyes so quickly, making you gasp. You rushed over to her and crouched down, holding onto her hands, “It’s okay, baby. You didn’t hurt me.”
“I could’ve.” She whispered, “That’s wrong, and scary. You were just trying to help me but I couldn’t control myself.”
“I know how hard you tried.” Your thumb brushes over her knuckles, you brought her hand to your lips and pressed a tender little kiss to her soft skin. “You’re always trying your best, honey. I know that. We’re okay, hm?”
Her face eased up, brows no longer furrowed. But she squints at you for a second, “Oh, no. Did you cry? Your eyes are red.”
You blinked, then nodded, “Lil bit.”
“I’m sorry.” She repeated, squeezing your hands.
“I know, I know you are, honey.” Stroking her tear-stained cheek, you still couldn’t help but smile getting to see her face. Lilette always made you smile no matter how hard the day’s been. “We’re okay. You’re okay, huh? Look at us. We always do our best and get through the day, right? We have each other.”
She nodded silently, still holding onto your hands, “Can I give you a hug?”
“Of course, chula.” You stood up and led her by the hand over to your bed. You sat her down in your lap and let her hug you. Her chin rests on your shoulder, her arms around you tightening. The pressure was comforting. So very comforting.
“I love you.” She sniffled.
“I love you too, sweetie.” You rubbed her back, “I love you so much.”
When Simon arrived, he did more colouring with Lilette while you walked into the backyard to sit, sipping on a mug of your favourite tea. You needed some actual downtime now that things between you and Lilette were sorted out. You nodded off for awhile, but you woke up to a throw blanket draped over your front.
You took the blanket with you and re-entered the house. Simon and Lilette were in the kitchen, cooking dinner and giggling. “Hey, guys.” You greeted.
“Hey!” Simon looked up from the pot on the stove, “Okay, pour that cheese in there, Lil.”
“Kay.” Lilette nodded eagerly, following his instruction pouring the bowl of shredded cheese into the macaroni.
“What’re you guys making?”
“Well, this girl wanted to make you your favourite.” Simon arched a brow, “Mac and cheese with broccoli and I mostly did the grilled chicken.”
“I helped.” She smiled.
“You sure did.” You went up to her after putting down the blanket, kissing her on the cheek. She giggled, “Did you have a nice nap?”
“I did, baby. I did.” You were still smiling.
“Good, sit down!” She grins.
“Yep.” Simon nodded, “Dinner is served, my friends.”
“Thanks for making dinner.” You told him, “And keeping Lilette company.”
“Of course. We all need a little break. It was nothing.” Simon placed the pot in the middle of the table then laid out three bowls. Lilette hands you a spoon, then one to Simon.
“Thank you~” You said to her while pulling out the chair next to you, “Sit down with me, chula.”
“Are you guys coming to school tomorrow?”
“Maybe not. We’ll see how we are in the morning. But we will let you know.” You answered, stirring the spoon around in your bowl before eating a mouthful.
“Sure.” He hummed, “You guys want something to drink?”
You stood up before he could, “I’ll— I’ll do it. Simon, you’ve already made dinner.”
Dinner was amazing, a much needed hangout too. He had to go home soon after dinner since he had a curfew, but you were also glad to be alone with Lilette again. You knew she felt safe around Simon to stay regressed, but it was always a little different just you and her. It allowed you to be more affectionate, something you didn’t really prefer to be like around other people no matter how close you were with them.
“You want some ice cream, baby?”
“Yeah, please.” She stood right behind you, her front flush against you as she held onto your hand. You chuckled, saying, “Take your pick.”
She tugs on your hand, “Can we make sundaes?”
“Of course!” You agreed excitedly, “You wanna take out the flavours of ice cream you want? I’ll go grab the toppings from the pantry.”
“Okay.” She replied, grabbing the pints of chocolate and vanilla ice cream from the freezer and placed them on the island. Once you put the various toppings down, you set down two bowls and some spoons.
Okay well, this day wasn’t too bad after all. It had its rough moments, but like you said, you and Lilette had each other. And because of that, you two would be just fine.
Other than the fact that Lilette was a little too hyper after the sugar consumption. “I think that’s enough caramel sauce for you tonight.” You bit back a laugh and closed the lid of the sauce bottle, promptly keeping it back in the fridge.
“Aww.” She sulked.
“Hey, we gotta go to bed sometime tonight. Hopefully soon.” You sat down next to her again, finishing up your dessert.
She laughs, “Of course we do. We need sleep.”
“Yes we do, sweetie.” You laughed as well, “Let’s finish up here then let’s go to my room, how about that?”
She agrees, gleefully swinging her feet briefly as she sat on the barstool and enjoyed the remainder of her slightly soupy ice cream. At last, she was curled up against your side, arm wrapped around your midriff. “Sleepy yet?”
“No,” She pouted.
“Are you bluffing?” You teased.
“No.” Lilette repeated.
“Okay, okay.” You kissed the top of her head. “Two more episodes then we’re gonna get ready for bed.”
“Okay.” She tells you, “I promise. Thank you.”
“What for?” You ask, mindlessly rubbing her back.
“Taking care of me,” She mumbles, “Thank you. You really help me so much.”
“I’m always gonna be here, sweetie. We promised. Right?”
“Right.” She laughs breathily, sneaking a kiss to your cheek.
You laughed a little harder, unsuspecting of the little surprise. “Aw.”
“Aw.” She mocked.
“You’re lucky you’re cute.” You joked.
She gasped dramatically, “I am? Wow.” It was an innocent, silly exclamation. It was endearing. It made your heart melt into a puddle.
“Oh, you are, my love. So, so cute.”
“I love you.”
“I love you more, Lilette.”
“No, I do.” She giggled.
“Oh, yeah? Are you sure?”
Lilette grins, “Yeah.”
“Aw, isn’t that sweet?”

"Fair enough," they agree with a slow nod of their head, a gesture that conveys an acceptance as profound as it is subtle. The idea of sharing so much in common with their wife, to the point where they begin to blur into one entity, makes her smile spread from ear to ear. Turning their heads simultaneously in response to their shared name is something she strives to regain after her departure. Like enzymes and substrates, she and Helia fit together like a lock and key, their binding crucial for catalytic activity.
Since she’s missing her enzyme, she instead kindly takes Ezhil’s arm, and hitches herself to him for the rest of the evening. "You may settle for Lilette, then," she says, her tone tinged with warmth and a hint of playfulness.
Following his lead, they begin to traverse into the chaos, thankful for his guidance amidst the playfulness of the gallery. The scene around them is a cacophony of vibrant colors, animated conversations, and the clinking of glasses, each element contributing to the dynamic of the event. Lilette often feels as if socializing is a chore, a task that requires her to conjure enticing words and carefully curate questions to keep others engaged. She much prefers answering questions rather than posing them, safeguarding her own thoughts from prying curiosity.
As they weave through the throngs of people, she finds herself reflecting on the peculiar nature of human interaction. She gives him the information he asks for right away, as if to preempt any further probing into her personal musings. "Not too long ago, actually. I'll have you know that this is the first event I've come to since settling in," she admits, her voice carrying a blend of sincerity and a touch of vulnerability. "I've heard a couple of musicians are gracing us with their presence. Is this possible by your persuasion too?"
Ezhil grinned, wiggling his expressive eyebrows as he held out his hooked arm for her to take. He could imagine they had stories to tell of the places they’d been, for the past… was it two years now. He’d have to ask Helia, even if his connection to Helia was in his mind always tainted by his own dream of starting his own pack. He was certain the coven leader could sense that. Perhaps Lilette could too, but they didn’t seem to give that away, always kindly, always interested. “Of course, Dr. Vaz, how could I forget. It’s getting confusing though, if I were in a crowd, I know I’d have to fight my own good manners and call you both by your first names.” And he was certain both wouldn’t mind one bit, but even his father was more often Mr. Bharath than appa.
“Follow me,” he said, as he gestured to start at the very back of the gallery and work their way forward. The Good Duck Art Gallery, or the GDAG as Ezhil called it with laughter, wasn’t the most straightforward gallery, there were rooms upon rooms upon rooms, and since this event was mostly about the acts in the back, the only clear signs were towards the back. So most people would have to just stumble around and see what they could find. It was chaotic one way or another, more often colours bled from one room into the other than any clear subject, and most artworks didn’t have more than a name and a title. It also included far more spatial work than other exhibitions, those at least created a clear direction through every room, as you had to carefully manoeuvre your way around a statue if you didn’t want to go the right way. “When did you return to Fenrir’s Wood?” he asked.

"There, there, Bijan." The witch's lips curved into a tender, sympathetic smile, her eyes softening with a rich blend of compassion and profound understanding. The corners of her mouth lifted just enough to convey warmth and empathy, her expression radiating a quiet, soothing reassurance that enveloped him like a comforting embrace.
He wasn't the only one dabbing at misty eyes; several others were equally affected, their emotions plainly visible as they discreetly wiped away tears that threatened to spill. The poignant beauty of the performance had woven a palpable sense of community among the audience, uniting them in shared sentiment. "Indeed, so beautiful," she murmured softly, as if savoring the lingering echoes of the experience. "I think it's been my favorite of the day."
With a gentle pat on Bijan's shoulder, she endeavored to console her colleague and friend, infusing the moment with an air of tender camaraderie. "It's a bittersweet feeling, isn't it? Seeing all this, finally carving out spaces for ourselves."
CLOSED STARTER for @pclymcrphcus ft. Lilette location; Dulant College LGBTQ+ evening
Bijan hadn't been someone who actively hid who he was, neither at home, nor now in the UK. He'd always been truthful to who he was and who he wished to spend his time with, yet it hadn't always been as easy, and watching the work presented by local students of the Dulant College did struck a chord. An emotional one at that.
He was glad he'd brought a package of tissues, because the last act to have graced the stage was just done with her amazing piano and vocal performance. Talking about the misunderstanding she received and how she felt like everyone was wrong and she was right.
He spotted a fellow Fenrir University faculty member and approached Lilette while still dabbing away the tears. "That was beautiful, don't you think?" he asked.

Candles and Quiet (Comfortember 2023)
Characters: Mirio, Nejire, Tamaki, and Female OC (Lilette) Manga/Anime: Boku no Hero Academia/My Hero Academia Genre: Comfort Summary: Sometimes a stimuli break is better with friends. Word Count: 1,276
Prompts: Alternative 4: Candles (where this started), featuring 15. Plushies and 26. Friends
The bedroom light and bedside lamp were off. The curtains were pinned shut with clothespins. Her laptop was off, her phone turned over and out of sight. The surge protectors were all switched off. The standing fan was unplugged.
The rattling of the door handle broke the silence.
“Oh… ok… darkness,” came a familiar cheery male voice as the door opened just a little bit. Lilette stayed still as she recognized Mirio’s voice.
“And silence,” added a light female voice. Nejire was with him, apparently.
“We’ll be right back,” Mirio said, closing the door again.
Minutes went by and Lilette sank back into the empty quiet of her room. She hadn’t shifted her position on the bed, curled in the upper corner with her back to the wall. She flexed her finger, lightly petting the plush squid she held to her stomach. Her bed was flush to the left corner of the room. She was facing the door, not really listening for their return. She wasn’t really listening to anything at all but the silence. She let her mind dance with the sort of high pitched non-sounds floating in her ear canals.
A light knocking interrupted it this time. “We’re back,” called the female voice again. Nejire had taken care to soften her tone from the concerned one she’d used earlier.
“And we brought light!” The cheerful male announced as the door slowly opened. Mirio was whispering as well, but his happy tone almost canceled out the effort.
Lilette raised her head at the soft, wavering light that pushed against her curated darkness from the doorway. Mirio was leading in their friend group with a candle in his hand, a small flame surrounded by smooth glass. Close behind was Nejire, holding a tiny fire of her own in a prettier container. Hers was wider and flat like a tea saucer and looked like a fancy bar of soap. A third light followed them, shining small and timid from within the confines of two cupped palms. Tamaki. Lilette couldn’t help but smile. Nejire hung back to close the door behind him as he shuffled in with his head down, not saying a word.
Mirio held his candle up to his face, making the lights and shadows dance over his features. He moved the light towards Lilette, studying her curled form for a moment with a smile. “Is it ok for us to be here?”
Lilette nodded, even though he knew she would’ve stopped them the first time if she didn’t feel like having company.
Nejire stepped up, resting her candle on the nightstand. “Is sound ok or no?”
Lilette held up one hand to the light, pinching her fingers together.
Nejire dipped her head. “We’ll keep it low.”
“Is it a no talking time for you?” Mirio asked, setting his candle further away on her bureau drawer amongst her perfume bottles. The reflections from the shaped glass danced on the ceiling.
Lilette nodded, holding up her squid to show its big puppy dog eyes and smiling face.
He let out an exaggerated breath of relief. “That’s good. We were worried when you disappeared right after dinner. You just wanted to wind down?”
She nodded again.
Nejire motioned to the bed, sitting only after Lilette gave her the go ahead. “Sometimes a stimuli break is nice. I’m guessing your mind’s pretty quiet right now, too?”
Lilette inclined her head before tilting it to look at Tamaki who had parked himself in the middle of her floor, still holding the candle in both his hands. The flame glowed gently from within his lap, softly lighting his face, chest, and shoulders.
Mirio lowered himself to the floor as well, leaning against the bed which put him between Tamaki and Nejire. Of the four, he was the last anyone would expect to just slip into quiet time, but he had proven perfectly adaptable to Tamaki when they were little, only getting better over the years. He walked his hand over the mattress, poking at one of Lilette’s feet when he confirmed he could reach it. He grinned when she blinked curiously at him, wiggling her toes.
Tamaki rested his candle on the floor and scooted over to the bed, pulling down another of Lilette’s plushies that was laying on the mattress, a small beige moose with little brown antlers. He busied his fingers petting its soft forehead, much like how Lilette was with the squid.
Nejire laid back on the mattress, turning her head to watch the candles lighting up the nightstand next to Mirio and the bureau beyond Mirio’s head. The two flames kindly tamed the darkness, seeming to work with it instead of trying to stave it off. It was something a study lamp could never hope to accomplish. Something about the candles providing just enough light to see, just enough to confirm where they were, just enough to keep the mind from getting unhelpfully creative.
There was something about Tamaki’s candle on the floor. Nejire couldn’t see it from this new vantage point but she was comforted by the way it lit up their two guys in their entirety. Its light brushed every surface available, all four walls of the dorm room, unobtrusive in its service.
The three looked up when the mattress dipped and shifted with Lilette’s movements. She’d laid down on her side with her back still to the cool wall, upside down to Nejire and now much closer to Mirio. This put her in direct line of sight with Tamaki, whose gaze flitted about nervously a few times before he offered her a timid smile. She returned it with a happy one, waving both of the squid’s long tentacles at him. He waved one of the moose’s little arms back. Lilette smiled wider.
She was so very appreciative of her friends. Of the way they just seemed to understand her without demanding more. How they had put in the time and effort to get to know her and her needs. The way they just popped in to check on her wanting nothing more than to genuinely confirm she was doing ok. They didn’t want the mask. In fact, individually and collectively, they fought against it, calling her out every time they recognized it. It had gotten to the point that they saw it when she didn’t even realize she was doing it. It was hard at times, accepting that kind of care even though she knew she’d always wanted it. But, she recognized again with Mirio playing with her open hair and Nejire fooling with the arms of her squid, they deemed her worthy. She saw the relational understanding in Tamaki’s eyes as he played with the moose’s antlers - Mirio had no doubt tugged him through that “you deserve the kind of care you want and need” ringer years ago and was still doing so to this day. Her heart smiled and warmth bloomed in her chest. She pressed one of the squid’s tentacles to her chin and pushed it down and out.
Thank you. She would voice it when she felt like talking again but for now, she settled in the hushed atmosphere surrounded by her friends. It was a different kind of stillness from when she was alone. Not that it was more or less preferable, just dissimilar. This was like an unspoken hug. It wrapped around her with an unassuming presence, existing in tandem with her as she was. Like the mellow candlelights within the darkness, adding without taking away. It was something she was deeply grateful for that she never thought to ask for. She would have to work on that.
