Alright Tumblr, I’m putting my faith in you. I’m currently raising funds for a Palestinian family trying to escape Rafah. (The border is currently closed, but it will reopen and when it does, I want all four them to be able to leave). They need $15k and they’re only at $1.3k. If you donate $10 or more, I will draw your requests (I will not be drawing backgrounds and if it's a ship drawing, please donate at least $20). Jenny literally stayed with Joy all night (for a romantic all-night after-crime interview) after Ash & Pikachu Team Rocket's Koffiing blew up the center.

Joy x Jenny made sippy soups for Team Rocket who bailed on it to chase after Articuno. They were probably flirting with each other which helped TR get away, but I digress...

Pokémon F/F Ship Tournament - Round 2, Matchup 3

How shipping in ygo dm started for me and where it's at right now:

Puzzleshipping - yeah, I just went with the standard most obvious option at first

Blindshipping - kind of a continuation of the first one

Thiefshipping - my friend was really into it, and I kinda got dragged along, but I don't ship them as hard as I used to 😅

Puppy/Violetshipping - I don't even remember how I stumbled in there, but I also don't ship this as hard as I used to, maybe a bit more than thiefshipping though

Deathshipping - now this is where it started getting good. I latched onto as hard, if not harder, than Puzzle/Blindshipping and I tore through fics about them at a concerning, dare I say near obsessive rate. I was introduced to deathshipping through thiefshipping media, but I didn't really start shipping them until I read a fic specifically dedicated to them because in the thiefshipping fics I read in ye olden days Ryou always seemed not as into the whole relationship thing as Yamima.

Tendershipping - ah, yes. My original actual brain consuming obsession that made me start binding fics for myself. Also, the reason I read the full manga series back to back because everyone online said that they have even more interactions in there. I very specifically remember the fic that introduced me to tendershipping (although I completely forgot the title, and I haven't a slightest clue which platform it was on). It was a deathshipping fic where Bakura played the role of Ryou's crazy stalker ex. He was the villain in the fic that Yamima got to save Ryou from. This ultimately got me acquainted with the idea of Ryou and Bakura being together and I just kinda fell down the rabbit hole from there.

Conspireshipping - it was bound to happen with the fics and art I was consuming lol...

Gemshipping - technically an extension of the tendershipping thing that somehow ended up outgrowing its original instigator but also weirdly enough spurred on by another deathshipping fic that was going towards a rustshipping endgame.

Rustshipping - I mean it did kinda happen...

Caste/Kingshipping - I genuinely have no idea how I got here. One day, I just thought "I like enemies to lovers but prideshipping isn't exactly for me... who else could Atem be paired with?" BANG. THIEF KING. (All the fanart circulating probably didn't help lol. I didn't fell into this shipping hell hole as hard as I did with gemshipping, but it turned out it just needed some time to fester because by now those ships are equally my favourites XD

Rubyshipping - If you know, you know. (I mostly blame Iams for this XD) But those three are literally my favourite characters, and how I haven't thought about putting them in a single ship faster is completely beyond me.

Delia and Joy are definitely the physically strong gfs, Delia has mom strength and Joy has nurse strength, that are both forces to be reckoned with 💪 And that strength has the added bonus of sweeping their gfs off their feet ✨

Even now, she’s hauling a huge bundle of firewood over her head like it’s nothing more than a weightless Gastly. Joy dumps the wood beside the fire, dusts her hands off, and places them on her strong hips. “That should do it,” She says resolutely.

Officer Jenny is a simple woman. When she sees a pretty lady, she stares.

Holy shite.

According to the novels Takeshi Shudo wrote, Officer Jenny/Junsar go by their last names because not only do they have a family legacy when it comes to policing... they’re literally named with numbers in mind like Momoko, Ichiko, Niko, Senko, and the like. They absolutely hate that they’re named like that, so they’d probably be scary if you called any of them by their first name. 

That’s like... if someone named you after your SIN. That’d be such a bummer!

Also, Viridian’s Jenny didn’t realize that Pokemon doctors in other cities also looked alike and go by their last names (Nurse Joy). Meanwhile, Viridian’s Joy didn’t know the majority of police looked the same that go by their last names either...

They both claimed to each other they were the prettiest in their family though and they had such a cute moment together! Meanwhile, Pewter’s Joy was on the video phone and retorted, “I can hear you, you know!”

Officer Jenny was never one to lose her cool, but today however was an exception. At the moment, she found herself outside of the operating room at the Castelia City pokemon center. She started pacing back and forth in an attempt to take her mind off of her current situation. She remembered what led her there all too well… 

… Just an hour ago, she and Herdier were called to investigate a ‘worrying commotion’ on route 4. This only turned out to be an intense battle between two very strong trainers. As they were making their way back to the station, however, they started to notice unusually firm gusts of wind starting to pick up behind them. It wasn’t long before they found themselves caught in the middle of a record breaking sandstorm. She would have called Herdier back into its pokeball, but a thick dust cloud swept over them before she could. Where she was able to cover her nose with one of her gloves, Herdier was not, and suffered through multiple minutes of breathing in sand and debris, before Jenny could see clearly again. As soon as he was in his ball, Jenny made a quick break for the pokemon center… 

Glancing at the clock, her posture grew slump. She hoped Herdier was okay. She finally plopped down on a nearby chair and put her face in her hands. I cannot believe I let this happen she thought as a tear slid down her cheek.

Click! The door to the operating room opened, and Jenny quickly looked up. There stood Nurse Joy, and by her side was Herdier, happy and healthy.

“Herdier is doing much better now,” Nurse Joy beamed as they both walked towards Officer Jenny.

Wiping the dismay from her eyes, and sighing in relief, Jenny bolted towards Herrdier, and wrapped him in a tight embrace. “Oh Herdier, I’m glad you’re okay! I’m so sorry I let that happen to you,” she broke away and fished through her bag, until she found his pokeball “Here, take a rest. You deserve it.” she said, as Herdier was transported back into his pokeball. 

She finally looked over at Joy “Thank you so much, I was worried sick!” Officer Jenny paused briefly, contemplation etched in her expression. She continued “You know, I really think you’re the best Nurse Joy around” she breathed.

“Well, thank you,” Nurse Joy said blushing slightly “I think you are the best Officer Jenny around.” 

Silence followed close behind their words, as they stared deep into each other’s eyes. It was obvious that similar feelings of fondness for each other were growing inside them. 

Nurse Joy broke the silence “You know, I really don’t like seeing you cry,” her tone was soft, as she stepped closer to Jenny “Your smile is much better.” 

“You really think that?” Jenny asked. “No one has ever really said that to me before.” she uttered in shock. 

“Of course I do.” and with that, Nurse Joy pulled Jenny closer by the waist, and pressed their lips together. 

The kiss was brief yet passionate as their inner lusts for each other awakened. It had never occurred to them how much they wanted the other. After breaking away from each other, they were still in each other’s embrace, suspended in a comfortable silence.

It was Jenny this time to break it “That was unexpected, but it really cheered me up,” she her lips curled into a smile.

Nurse Joy grinned playfully, tucking her loose bangs behind her ears “Well then, mission accomplished.”
