They are so grumpy!! Floyd is visibly annoyed, his bad mood follows him like a plague from class, to basketball club, to his shift at mostro lounge. After a certain point, Jamil and Azul both are both begging you to let Floyd do whatever the hell he was doing with you before cause he broke the thick glass panel of the hoop by launching a ball far too hard during practice, and was also throwing knifes at one of the employees after getting even more pissed off from a returned dish he made.

Jade is a bit more petty. If he can't show his beloved affection then he won't accept any from them either! Nevermind that you weren't barring any other form of affection. It last for all of a day, to everyone (except Floyd and Azul)'s surprise. You open your bedroom door, Grim in hand, only to find a 6'2” giant in your bed wrapped tightly in your blankets and pillows to inhale your scent. He's giving you puppy eyes (and holding a can of fancy tuna to bribe Grim, for good measure) and asking for forgiveness for this poor, unfortunate soul! *sniffle sniffle* He's just so lonely, he misses the sweet embrace of his mate! Try as you might, you find yourself laying in bed as Jade lies on top of you, face-first into your boobs and arms wrapped around you as Grim snacks on his tuna, curled into your neck.

Does the Life Series exist in the SecretHusbands AU? If so, how would that change?

gahhhhhh I keep going back and forth on if I want to include the life series. I’ve talked about just using third life but none of the other games but. I really want the other games, mostly so that grian and scar can be the dramatic little shits they always are

but like I’ve said in a previous ask, even if it were just grian hosting the games for fun and stuff, there’s still some form of trauma going on here because the games are violent and chaotic. however that’s also the logical part of my brain speaking. the fun part of my brain is saying “do it” and ahhhh I’m torn

unless I just… try to go from as casual an approach as possible??? I think there would still be a few things that cause some not great feelings (i.e. the cactus ring, magical mountain) but overall I might be able to make all of the games work….

that being said, if I commit to the life series existing, the thing that changes is scarian being able to communicate LMAO. I’m being Extremely firm on this being a 95% fluffy au so the games are mostly lighthearted and silly. their marriage isn’t in danger, and while grian may still run from his problems because he’s grian, scar is an expert in the grian species and won’t let him run very far

I might make a separate post of ideas for each game…

Shirmps have translucent tummies!!!! So it is very noticeable when a shirmp is pregnant (shirmp owners now label the pregnant shirmps as "Berried" because the lil eggs look like small berries)

Definitely did not thought about a yuu asking for berries and the twins completely misunderstanding that maybe it is their brain melting due to the mating season

But if yuu did become a Merfolk in this case shirmp they wouldn't need to make an announcement about pregnancy when everyone can see the eggs in your stomach just:

That's so cute wtf? I looked it up and from what I can tell, most shrimp do have transparent tummies, but the reason you can see the eggs is because they stick them to their abdomens to keep safe! Like this one:

It does kind make them look pregnant tho hehe. But for funsies sake, let's say that either mershimp keep their eggs in their tummy or that out of human instinct Yuu keeps them in.

Oh the Leech parents are so, so excited! It was a slow dawning, as it took some time for the eggs to develop into something visible through their translucent tummy. But after about two weeks, the twins and their parents are noticing a bunch of orbs showing in various shades of teal, red, and pink. It does look like Yuu's holding berries!

It takes only a second for them to realize that Yuu's carrying the next generation of Leech kids, and everyone's ecstatic! Mama Leech is squeezing them as she starts going off about preparing a separate home for Yuu and the twins as they start their own family. Papa Leech is sobbing, babbling about being a grandpa and being so happy that he's gonna have new babies to spoil.

Jade and Floyd subtle low-five each other, smug as hell about finally knocking Yuu up.

Hey Mochi! I'm writing my first smut fic (my dnd party has a romance going on and its consumed my thoughts so drastic actions are being taken). Do you have any tips or tricks? You're writing in coping skills specifically is just so so good in sex scenes and I'm curious if theres anything you've noted helps when writing that sort of thing

MANY TIPS except maybe not actually ive been doing this for so long that a lot of it is second nature and also a LOT of it is just... normal ass writing advice lol

but for ur consideration:

🔥 HOT TIP #1: dont be afraid to use ur characters names. similarly dont be afraid to use the same word for other nouns, like body parts, tools, etc. it is a lot easier to keep things clear and flowing when you, as the writer, arent trying to use a synonym for everything, so that your readers don't have to do math lady meme faces trying to figure out what limb is whose

🔥 HOT TIP #2: this is hard for a lot of people i know that i am a weirdo who basically transcribes video when writing, but the better you can visualize whats going on in ur scene, the more effective your description of movement and interaction will be, ESPECIALLY with stuff in close contact like smut (or fight scenes, or dancing, and so on).

🔥 HOT TIP #2a: if you are in a situation where you can comfortably just.... watch porn, i highly recommend this, not only to help visualize how bodies act and move during sex, but to broaden ur scope of sex acts. i spend an absolutely wild amount of time watching teaser clips of all sorts from indie models on twitter and my ph algo is absolutely *fucked* lmao. same as visual artists should use reference as needed for their art, so should writers, and ur not gonna be able to write *everything* from personal experience

u can also absolutely use other smutty mediums for reference, like comics or illustrations, photographs, or yeah writing, but if you are not a particularly visual thinker, having some sort of specifically visual reference to base stuff off can be very helpful, from what some of my writing bros have shared

🔥 HOT TIP #3: vocab is really *really* important in smut. i have Opinions on words for junk and jizz and all that, but when it comes to writing, the words you use *gotta* match your characters voice. its super subjective, especially in fanfic, and can definitely be fluid depending on the situation, but it has to be consistent with your characterization across the board, with strong internal logic

equally important are the words you *don't* use--if your pov character is stuck up and nervous and a little prudish like the way i tend to write essek, using euphemisms or otherwise talking around the gross specifics can really emphasize that characterization and lead to really vulgar turns of phrase hitting super hard (ie esseks internal monologue going "caleb could spit in esseks mouth and essek would thank him for it" or whatever it was is incredibly striking because so much of esseks desire is not explicitly voiced)

you can legitimately use any kind of dick+ vocab and make it land when its paired with the right character and situation, though the weirder you go the harder it is to make it work

🔥 HOT TIP #4: write what you find hot. if u write shit u specifically are horny for, it will shine thru and people will go nuts for it. follow ur weird lil heart, have fun with it, yes-and with ur dick in hand and ur smut will be fabulous
