Sure! Long post incoming!The area the Spaces are in was originally created by Gigi. Gigi is the former overall god, and the god that created the rulers of Whitespace, Blackspace, and she created the balance as a whole. Now, Gigi was a terrible person. She treated her creations horribly, wanted to brainwash them to do her doing, and wanted them to stay a certain way. And she would do anything to make that so. (This later lead to harming her creations, as she was the one that maimed Nue’s (the ruler of Blackspace) eye, and took away his emotions has a whole. She’s also responsible for Tennin’s (ruler of Whitespace) magiclessness, as people in this world all have magic but him.)Nue, the death god, and the lesser title of te moon god, was the bane of Gigi’s existence, made to be negativity and hold the dark end of the balance, later to be given Blackspace. Gigi made him to be the ultimate fighter, with all of the instincts and natural equipment he sees to fight in his given Space, as Blackspace - or hell - is quite chaotic.And Tennin, the life god, with the lesser title of the sun god, was Gigi’s prized possession. Made to represent everything people could be, should be, and everything positive. The good end of the balance. He had a different personality than his brother Nue’s cold, unfeeling and uncaring self, being warm, inviting and kind.Dehuene, the Void goddess, came along later, and was not created by Gigi. While she already had a divine soul, she didn’t have a body. She was merely a whisp of silver energy trying to gain Tennin’s attention. (As the Whitespace ruler, it’s Tennin’s job to create the souls and physical appearances of mortals. Long explanation short: Tennin makes all living things that are not gods, but it’s not considered magic more than his job.) He eventually created her the body of a tigress that she has now, and she gained the Void.Sugar was supposed to have the Void, as he was the one that was meant to gain that position. Gigi created him too, but she practically trashed him half way though his creation, leaving him unfinished, tossing all unwanted traits and aspects onto him that didn’t fit Nue and Paint, and leaving him to die. Finding the Void, Sugar survived, but thanks to Gigi, all of the extra traits tossed onto him created his second personality whom he later named Rotten. Dehuene found Sugar there, and Sugar pretty much willingly handed her the Void without question, thinking he would make a better guard for her than a ruler of a Space. While he is technically a Void god, Dehuene, now his wife, has a larger position than him, and full control over the area. This is probably for the best that he allowed her to take over, as thanks to what Gigi did to him, he’s terminal, his soul is not completed, and he will die eventually because of it, but he had not told anyone yet. And this means Rotten would go down with the ship.Itl came along much later. Itl was a low-class game and trickery god that was close to falling into Gigi’s trap. She wanted to do to him, and Khron, another being following Gigi at the time, what she did to Nue and Paint. Make more gods. Strengthen the balance, as if one of the gods important to the balance, Nue, Tennin or Dehuene dies, the balance dramatically shifts. Gigi doesn’t care about any of them, her ‘sons’ or not. She only cares about the balance. She’s obsessed with it. Itl called her out on this after she attacked Rotten, after years of not seeing her creations, all of whom are afraid of her. This lead to Gigi’s anger, and Itl eventually outsmarting Gigi instead of fighting her, leading to Itl peacefully dethroning Gigi as the overall god of this world, and taking her position. Meaning Itl is now the overall god, and the balance is his responsibility, which he plans to take care of in a civil manor.Now that some of that lore and characters is out of the way, which you’ll understand why I explained all of the characters in a moment, the Spaces. I’ll go in order of the Spaces and explain what they are.Uppersworld: Gigi’s Space. This was the only existing Space before the creation of the other, much lower class than her, gods. Gigi never spent time here, wandering the mortal world instead, as she was the one that technically created everything until she gifted Tennin with this ability. It used to be a quite unsettling place with clocks everywhere. Instead of a whole world like the other Spaces, Upperworld was, ironically, not a world. Instead, it was a small room, specifically meant to only house one person. It was complete with only a single white armchair, and nothing else other than clocks. Gold, silver and bronze clocks everywhere. The floor was glass, with moving clock-hands under it, as was the sky and walls. Smaller clocks were tossed on shelves and on the floor. And it was dead silent other than ominous ticking.Now that Itl is there, he’d renamed and changed the space to what fits him most as an overall god in Gigi’s place. The world is bright, colorful, and very large, now. Meant to look like a giant board game everywhere you look. And he’s named his newly-obtained and newly-built Space accordingly. The Board.Whitespace: Tennin’s Space. Whitespace is this universe’s version of heaven. Tennin, being created as he was, was assigned this Space since the moment he came into existence. He does all of his work here to create mortal souls and physical bodies, accepting good souls sorted here into the paradise for the no-longer-living deserving of it, and choosing Guard Angels. (Guard Angels are the only Whitespace souls with wings, hand chosen by Tennin to help him. He’s closest with this group of people, and chooses them based off virtues they had shown in their lives.) Having the highest position of his tier (the other members being Dehuene and Nue) Paint has first pick over souls, which only really means if he wants one of Dehuene’s guards as a Guard Angel, he has every right to take them. Whitespace is pretty much what you’re thinking it is. Golden streets, clear water springs and rivers, white buildings, happiness and joy all around. He makes sure of that.The Void: Dehuene’s Space. The Void is the limbo area the souls Nue reaps from the moral world are brought to be sorted. Dehuene has an ability that makes her able to relive anyone’s life in a few seconds, and she sends them wherever she sees their lives had led them. Up, to Whitespace, or down, to Blackspace. While if you want to know more about the Void, as I’m only going from what I was told by @masterdehuene and what I was told was canon, you should ask her. She’s the one that has all of the control over this Space. But from what I know, there isn’t much there, as it’s a literal Void. Nowhere to comfortably sleep but the floor, and pure blackness, with countless layers. Layers that get lighter, as it goes up closer to Whitespace. And darker the closer you get own to Blackspace. Getting too close to both, from what I’ve gathered, is rather dangerous.The Void also seems to kind of have a mind of it’s own, as according to @masterdehuene it was responsible for clearing a part of Whitespace and a part of Blackspace to make room for itself. The positive and negative energies from both spaces resulted in a combination of the Void’s existing energy with both of theirs, and the outcome was Ori, who’d been serving his Masters since. His appearance makes a lot of sense if you think about the Spaces and who rules them. Whitespace. Angels. Blackspace. Demons. Sun and moon. What’s between them? Stars. All of the male gods were meant to have human appearances, so Ori does. And Dehuene’s a tiger, so he has animalstic ears. And seeing how Dehuene is the only female god, not counting Gigi, he only had a one in five chance of being female in a game of chance. Blackspace: Nue’s Space. Blackspace is a fiery hell where the bad souls sorted there go to burn, that’s the gist of it. Nue has no emotions, so he doesn’t care to maintain and take care of it, like how his brother, Tennin, has a civilization in Whitespace. And even if he did, demons and bad people wouldn’t make a civilization anyway. He doesn’t try, letting people fight, destroy, or scream as they please from the confines of his train, which he uses to transport souls from the Void to Blackspace, and also lives on, as nothing can enter through the barrier placed upon it unless he’s touching them. However, Nue is rarely there, as he’s normally out doing his job as a reaper, hunting down passed souls from the mortal world, and taking them to the Void to be sorted, to later return to take the ones sorted to Blackspace there, as Tennin takes a group of Whitespace-bound souls there.TLDR; Gigi is Mommie Dearest in goddess form, Itl probably saved everyone, Nue and Tennin are opposites, Sugar’s dying and Dehuene’s the only one that dodged the Gigi-bullet.TLDR2; Upperspace/The Board = Basically the overall god’s throne roomWhitespace: HeavenThe Void: Sorting Blackspace: HellAll of the above information is from the ongoing RP I have with @masterdehuene
