I am giving myself Brain Homework this summer while I try to make the most of some of the realizations I've been having and the potential benefit from my meds now. Along with hopefully getting back to therapy I want to try to do some reading on my own to see if I can set myself up to be a little more resilient the next time I am up against challenges like the ones that have been making things so difficult for me

So far my hopeful reading list is:

Picked up a copy of Unmasking Autism by Devon Price today because I think I'm going to want a copy around in the future

Going to read our copy of How to Keep House While Drowning by KC Price because I think it's very needed

I have read parts, but never the entirety of The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk (I know, I know) and I think it is time to get through it properly

I recently checked out a copy of The Lightmaker's Manifesto by Karen Walrond from the library because one thing I am trying to center lately is how to stay tethered to the work and activism I want to be doing while acknowledging that I was really traumatized by certain experiences as a result of it this last semester in our queer student group, that I think are a large part of why my OCD has flared up so much (and that revealed its presence after so long in the first place).

Who made it: Trailer Park Group Every year, each distributor is allowed one trailer that exceeds the standard 150-second runtime. It stands to reason that Universal would dedicate that honor to “Oppenheimer,” the Christopher Nolan tentpole it deemed so important, the studio erected a billboard featuring a countdown timer on S. At least when Adam called me Dark, he said “You claim to be a Lightmaker, but this post is very dark. Reconsider, my love.” I don’t care, I’m not Dark. I’m realistic xD

Adam said it’s very dark for me to view it this way: That when I said not everybody is Magick and there’s fake witches, that I meant not everybody is born psychic with their third eye open, or has honed these gifts. Let alone not everybody has ascended their mind to higher vibrations to be legitimately Magick, even if they weren’t born with it. I understand that everybody “is Magick,” (especially understanding that everybody has their own frequency and energy, and has a mind to think and speak and feel things into existence, usually unconsciously, and God loves all of us and we all have a level of intuition) but it’s more like this: Everybody has the ability to sing and sings, but is everybody a singer? No. That’s like the difference between somebody that “practices Magick” and somebody that is actually Magical. That was my point. So yeah, there really are some fake witches. Which Adam and other people gave me some harsh words for believing. Also for my stance on the subject of being the Lightworker I am, to choose not to help EVERYBODY to learn and reach their Magical potential. Because why would I? There’s some bad people that don’t deserve it. I would only help a good, pure hearted person with that. That’s like the difference between giving a bad person a gun, and giving a good person a gun. But people also called me Dark for this too. Either way, I still know that I am a Lightworker and have my own Magick.

She considered asking him about what they do, but decided against it. Figuring out the true value of things is a staple in fairy stories, so why miss out on that?

Shimmerina was just flying around when she saw these colorful flashes lighting up the sky. She became excited- were these other fairies? She went over to where they were, at which point one thing became clear: she should not have done that.
