So I am exicted to learn more about literally one of my favourite male biblical characters David through @shereadstruth biblical perspective, just did through @first5app not to long ago and it was fantastic!! But #LifeOfDavid is story for all of us, a tale so woven in light and darkness you can’t help but wonder who wins. (Spoiler Alert: Through line of David, Jesus came bring the lasting kingdom that will never END 💙)

David learned to lead in obscurity. He was faithful to tend to sheep while no one noticed, but God never misses a thing. David’s faithfulness and integrity were rewarded, and his territory increased from the sheepfold to the kingdom.

Are you facing a giant today? The battle is the Lord’s. He stands with you on the front lines and will defend your righteous cause. He never forgets those who choose to quietly serve Him in the field. Look back and remember how His overcoming strength has carried you in the past, and let that fill you with confidence as you move forward in faith.

Lord, help us to be faithful and choose wisely today in whatever field you have placed us. Thank You for helping us to overcome the giants in the land. May our actions and attitudes today please You and bring You glory. Amen.
