Pride Month 2020
Hello Lovelies!
I haven’t got to do much this year for anything due to health issues. However I am going to try and do the last week of Pride because I’m queer and proud of it, plus I have a lot of characters who are queer, and what better time to showcase them then now?
Pride Week 2020 by Violet Vineyard is the primary thing I am doing! It has seven days, one per color.
I will be doing a combination of three moodboards, short stories, and playlists per color. Lets see if I can do them without repeating characters and still fit the daily theme!
As it’s been a while, I shall tag the tag list peeps on them, and if you’d like removed, please tell me.
There will also be an updated list beneath the cut here.
Day 1 Red for Life:
Jon’s Moodboard
Pavel’s Moodboard
Julia’s Moodboard
Day 2 Orange for Healing:
Lidiya Moodboard & Minor Playlist
Iov’s Moodboard
Evariste’s Moodboard & Short Story
Day 3 Yellow is for Sunlight:
Nada/Nadiya’s Moodboard & Student Alphabet Playlist
Caleb’s Moodboard
Zeynal’s Moodboard
Day 4 Green is for Nature:
Stepan
Isaak
Nikki
Day 5 Blue is for Magic:

Day 6 Indigo is for Harmony:

More bloop! Two bloop!
@fragrant-stars, thank you for the bloops! Sorry it took so long, with Sota getting sick, life went a bit crumbling on me.
Dayesi - enjoys quiet mornings where she can make Lidiya (and Aither once they form a triad) breakfast in bed.
Lidiya - often starts waking up as soon as Dayesi leaves the bed, but enjoys just laying their listening to her love move around, almost too quiet to hear and only the small actions of things being done are easily noticed. Se knows the noise is for her.
Aither - instantly awake when Dayesi leaves the bed, but stays in bed with Lidiya cause she enjoys the cuddling and getting to watch the way her partner slowly comes to.
Send a bloop (or multiples) and get as many facts!

Blop Blop 😁
Thanks for the bloops @pheita!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lidiya finds how protective Jon is of both soulmates adorably amusing, particularly considering he spends years avoiding meeting the second in person but often uses resources to help him out of tricky spots.
Isaac is torn between relief and disbelief when he first meets Jon in person, and while he ends up being furious, he would still do whatever it takes to protect the hacker, though he fails to communicate that.
Bloop Bloop Bloop!
Thanks for the bloops Anon! (I couldn’t get the line to appear, so here, have a star line instead)
As it’s June, let's do some Pride related facts.
Tumblr media
Lidiya and Marie are friends that met through Pyotr, and discuss what things they find lovely about their respective lady loves as both are lesbians.
Aither and Dayesi joined that conversation once, talking about what she finds attractive in ladies and fem-aligned peeps. Lidiya and Marie simply grinned and enjoyed this, cause there's lesbians & pan ladies solidarity going on.
Nadiya joined the conversation another time, and dragged Vasilia into the conversation, though Vasilia is not sure how she ended up with her aunts discussing who’s attractive, and accidently realizing that she’s a bi-woman in the process. It was quite an epiphany for her.
Feel free to send me as many bloops as you want!
[ID: Alignment Chart. Across the top it says Lawful, Neutral, Chaotic. Down the side it says Optimist, Realist, Pessimist. Characters within the boxes details for them below]
Alignment and Reasoning
Lawful Optimist
Nazreen - I believe in following the rules of my faith, sticking to the guidelines of my beliefs, and am always hopeful that Allah will provide a way for events to turn out for the best.
Neutral Optimist
Pavel - like nature, I firmly believe in situational reactions, keeping a balance. However, I believe like nature’s spring and summer, that all things grow and prosper when given the right circumstances, including humans.
Chaotic Optimist
Sitara -  I’ve always been energetic and a on the go, a source of chaos. It works well with my beliefs, and the dance of Ma Kali.
Lawful Realist
Lidiya - I have a code that I follow, a set of rules and guidelines, mostly tied to my Oath as a healer and doctor. That doesn’t stop me from know there are times when I have to do something I doesn’t want to.
Neutral Realist
Luc - I’m a true Neutral, and with that comes a realism and understanding, besides that, being a realist is useful as an assassin.
Dayesi - life and career choices has caused me to definitely develop a realistic streak that paired well with my natural neutrality.
Emere -  I take after and follow my aputa’s example, it also goes well with my beliefs, even if someone would say my beliefs aren’t realistic, but isn’t that what faith is?
Chaotic Realist
Aither - having my family die the way they did, followed by me ending up on the streets to avoid living with assholes cause me to be a realist, however I am too chaotic to ever be considered neutral.
Jon - grow up with someone like da, see if you don’t turn out both chaotic and realistic.
Lawful Pessimist
Iov - I crave and need order and regulation to function. However, life has not been kind to me since my mom’s death, and I always expect everything to go wrong.
Neutral Pessimist
Sparks - I might have started off with a more orderly personality, but running away from the bratva and plenty of time around Aither changed that. I learned to adapt and think on my feet, even if it’s not my strong suit, which leads to me expecting the worst.
Chaotic Pessimist
Isaac - I actually vary between Neutral and Chaotic depending on where I am in my head space. Sadly, as it has declined, I’ve stayed more and more chaotic, and not in a good way. Too many things have gone wrong for me to believe things will go right.
Original Chart thanks to @pineapplepineapplebatman & this post
Song Tag
As I love music, this is a great tag game, thanks for tagging me @lady-redshield-writes!
Rules: Take the last 3 songs you’ve listened to and name at least 3 of your characters that you associate with each song (minimum 1 character per song)! Then tag as many people as characters you have mentioned (or more).
Glitter & Gold  by Barns Courtney
My two boys born into bratvas are the first to come to mind for this song. While neither is the entire song, they both give me parts of it, which equals close to the entire song.
Sparks - the chorus, particularly “I am flesh and I am bone” is something that says his name since he is a very physical person.
Iov - “Do you ponder the manner of things. In the dark. The dark, the dark, the dark” is so very him, in so many way, but particularly after the Events that led to him working for Sparks.
Sailor Moon Star Locket Melody
While a soft melody, it makes me think of the sort of softness that is firm in it’s determination. As such, Tichina, Emere, and Lidiya are all matches for it.
Tichina will do anything for those she cares about, no matter the risk
Emere is like water, determined and patient, which this song has always reminded me of
Lidiya loves those who she is closest to and cares for them in any way that she feels that she can
1000 Words - Final Fantasy X-2
This song is all about hope, lost love, and heartbreak. It is loss and dreams and memories. In other words:
Isaac. Completely and utterly Isaac. Particularly in regards to everything that happens with Luc and their relationship.
Some  writer peeps if you’d like to do this:  @albatris @aschenink  @forlornraven @quillwritten @rychillacases  @fynniana
As I have lots of music, feel free to tag me again.
Asyuta
I feel like talking about the quietest of Sparks’ sisters, Asyuta. You’d think that title would go to Vera, since she is both partly deaf and prefers reading, but no, it goes to the musically inclined shy sister.
Part of the reason she’s so quiet and prefers the quiet when not dealing with music is the fact that she is a  chromesthesia. Sounds become colors. In her case voices tend to annoy her a lot because most people’s colors get on her nerves. She’d try to tell you why, but would have a difficult time placing it.
Music on the other hand, is the types of sounds she likes. She can listen to music, particularly instrumentals for hours at a time. She’s also learning to play many of the same instruments that she loves so much. The only difficult is finding teachers with voices she can handle.
Her father ignored her mostly, she was too shy and too into music for his tastes. The fact that she preferred to always wear colored glass or would close her eyes when people spoke to her, pissed him him. There was more than one occasion where he yelled at her for it.
 Then Akaal entered the picture and her entire world changed. Not just because of the death of all the adults in the family, though that was a bit much. Her father was just cruel enough that she wouldn’t put it past him to have killed the rest before killing himself. The only thing that stops her from believing is the fact he would have taken the children and teens with the adults. No. Another major difference is the fact Akaal actually listens.
Osha was the first to bring it up, that she has problems with sounds. To her surprise, her brother did not poke fun or become an ass about it. Instead, he led her to his room, handed her a tablet, and turned on his laptop. Their entire first conversation, intentional conversation, was done via instant messenger.  While he waited for her to tap out her answers, he watched her, and shock of shocks, he paid attention to her body language as much as her words.
Afterwards he told her she could stay in the room if she wanted. It’d be alright, he’d see about figuring out her education.
A week later he introduced her to Lidiya, a friend who happens to be a doctor. Lidiya was there to take measurements of her ears, along with casts. She likes Lidiya’s voice, it’s soft grays and slow purples. It’s stressed that the ear plugs won’t totally drowned out the sounds for when she needs to go into the world, but they should make it easier, give her less sensory information to have to process.
It makes handling living with so many relatives a lot easier.
She’s still shy and quiet, preferring musing to people, but at least now she can handle dealing with people and not get too much information.
Okay, I can't resist. Hell or High Water, by the Rescues?
Thanks for the suggestion @seramarias!
Because Hell or High Water by the Rescues is a bit higher pitched, I had to listen a few times,, I really love the beat, so that wasn’t a problem!
There are two people I think this would go for:
Tichina because she doesn’t back down and is rather stubborn, she will do whatever she has to in order to protect her siblings and eventually that transfers to the other children of her neighborhood.
Lidiya because as the groups doctor she has been thrown into a few situations where it is almost Too Much but she refuses to give up. She’ll do whatever it takes in order to protect and care for those under her care.
Send me a song, and I’ll tell you what character I think it goes with!
>:] BLOOOOP BLOOP BLOOP BLOOP BLOOPBLOOPBLOOPBLOOP and blooooooooooooooooooooooop!~ have fun ;)
.*beams* thank you for all the bloops @editedandwrittenbyhannah! If you ever want to ask random questions I am all for them (and would send digital treats because I love talking about these dorks but always worry I will be a bother after having someone complain that I post about my characters too much…)
Aither - the first knife I picked up was in self defense when some gangster jackasses tried mugging me. It was pure luck, but I determined after that it would never be luck again.
Dayesi - my first father was a Russian spy, so you could say I grew up around the business, which is how I ended up in the KGB
Lidiya - I always wanted to be a doctor, and I was at the top of my class when my life suddenly went in a direction I didn’t expect. I got lucky, and was able to  continue with my dream, even if not in the way I originally anticipated.
Pyotr - Grandma Vera made sure I can use every one of her guns, she’s an ex-sniper. There’s a lot of them.
Marie - I considered becoming a dancer then decided that I didn’t want the politics of dance, so I encouraged my best friend as she went that route and fell in love with books and editing instead.
Nadiya - I didn’t plan to be a teacher, it just sort of happened, but I love it!
Maks - I look forward to working on the moon base, it’ll be fun, and it fulfills one of my dreams.
Elena - I don’t know what I want to do with myself, but I know my family will back me up.
Eva - I am going to become a doctor like papa, and Isha’s Doctor Raskova is willing to help teach me, let me do my residency with her.
Send a bloop (or multiples), get a fact!
First Meeting
She’s tired after her flight from London to Moscow. Thankfully Luc had sent his assistant, Bogdan, to pick her up from the airport. Since she doesn’t have a home any more, she will be staying at one of his safe houses until she has set up a residence of her own.
“We’re here,” he announces as he stops the car.
Smiling tiredly, she replies, “Thank you for the ride.”
“Second room on the left at the top of the stairs is for you,” he informs her as he turns the car off, glancing at her only momentarily before getting out of the vehicle.
Sighing, she reaches in the back seat before reaching for the door and getting out.
As she walks up to the house, she takes in the non-descript exterior and plain windows with dark coverings. It’s the sort of house most people would pass by without ever noticing because of its boring nature. Perfect for using as a place to vanish into.
Bogdan holds the door for her, closing it after she steps into the doorway and clicking the lock into place.
Like the outside, the inside is rather dull as well. There is a plain staircase to the side of the entryway.
“Do you know if he has a set time for when he wishes to speak?” She asks the assistant.
His head wavers to the side slightly, “No. Currently he is dealing with a situation, probably after that.”
“Thank you,” she tells him, turning and climbing the steps.
When she gets to the top, she pauses to take a deep breath. Right. Second door is for her.
She’s just reached it when a tiny woman with bouncing tight black curls and shining dark eyes exits the third door. There is something about the small woman who draws her attention, keeping it. A confidence that seems to pour from every inch of her terra cotta brown skin. According to the smirk curling plump lips, she knows it too.
“Good afternoon, you must be Doctor Raskova,” the smaller woman greets her warmly.
“Hello,” she replies, turning to face the other woman fully. “I am, Doctor Lidiya Stepanova Raskova.” She offers a hand as she introduces herself.
Slender fingers curl around hers firmly, “Dayesi Vladimirovna Malinina.”
“Pleasure to meet you,” she hums, wondering what this woman’s place is here.
Dayesi holds her hand longer than strictly necessary. “Get some rest, that can be a long flight, we can get to know each other over dinner.”
She nods slowly, “I’ll look forward to that.”
Aesthetics: Lidiya
Tumblr media
I take my role as medical provider seriously, and try to care for each of my friends and loved ones needs, though they don't always work with me. I'm probably the softest of our main group, with a love of color and beautiful things.
Apology
“We’re sorry,” Lidiya bursts out almost as soon as she’s in their line of sight.
She just arches one dark brow in their direction.
“We thought you had an arrangement like Luc and us used to have,” the doctor continues, “It made sense to me. You’re here with him as your second and I didn’t know if that meant you had to present as having a partner to avoid problems. That’s what Dayushka and Luc did for years, it doesn’t bother me, us. We wanted you to know that, in case you thought it did.” The older woman glances at the third member of their questionable triad, eyes asking for help.
“Judgment error,” Dayesi remarks, going on to explain, “that’s what it was. We forget that you and Jon play by a different set of rules than we do. Often changing the rules as needed but always keeping to the same base which seems to come to you two easily but we have a hard time deciphering.”
She shrugs, still not saying anything. She’s waiting to see when they are done first.
“Would you like to come get dinner with us, our treat, we can just have a pleasant evening or continue to discuss this?” Lidiya asks hopefully.
“Sure,” she agrees, “Let me go put some shoes on.”
She had been barefoot because they were in her territory, and that was fine, but they are leaving it, so she needs to cover her feet up. If her boots that she slips into happen to have trigger blades in the front and back, well, she’s the suspicious type.
“I know a great place down the road that’s relatively private,” she tells them when emerges from her room a minute later.
“Great!” Lidiya exclaims.
Working for Luc
How do you like working for Luc?
Dayesi: of all the people I have reported to, he is probably my favorite. Not only because we became friends, but because he doesn’t underestimate me simply because I am a woman the way some people have in the past. He respects my abilities and my judgment.
Lidiya: despite how things started out, it has probably been one of the best possible jobs I could have ended up with. Sometimes I sigh over the assassins and spies in my life who just don’t know how to take care of themselves, but over all I don’t think I would ever want a different one.
Pyotr: he’s an excellent Boss. Definitely better than the one I worked for before and worth the loyalty given to him. Luc can be terrifying, but he’s fair, even in his rage.
Waiting
She wants to pace. Normally she’s calm and collected, cool under fire but she doesn’t appreciate the situation they find themselves in. Namely the fact that they have been kept separate from Luc.
First they thought he was dead. Now they know he is not but they haven’t been able to take him home where he belongs.
“Breath Liliyusha,” Dayesi murmurs, glancing at her from the corner of her eye.
“I don’t like this,” she mutters, trying to relax.
Across the room from her, Pyotr nods in agreement, scowling towards the door.
“I should be the one taking care of him. Not that man.” She grumbles, pressing into her love’s side.
Chuckling softly, Dayesi runs her thumb across her knuckles. “Trust him. There is a reason Luc wants to stay. We have to wait to find out why.”
“I don’t like waiting any more than she does,” Pyotr snaps angrily.
Sighing, her love shrugs, “It’s what we have to do. Now calm, we do not need to aggravate the situation worse when they get here by your nerves being all flustered.”
Medical School
When I first started medical school, I attended in Moscow with a group of others, the only student in my class that was there on scholarship. By the end of the first year, I was the first in the class, much to the annoyance of Ekaterina Tarasovna Ourumova. She had me kidnapped, originally to be killed but instead I was given to a syndicate lord that worked with her uncle as a gift to get rid of me.
That ended up being the best thing to happen to me, even if at the time I didn’t think it as I was having waking nightmares about what was going to happen to me.
That’s how I met Luc.
We ended up coming to an agreement. He would pay for my complete medical education, and I would come work for him as his private doctor. Since I didn’t have any friends or family that would miss me, I agreed.
Which is how I ended up at Barts in London, learning all about what I needed. More than that, he didn’t mind the fact that I actually specialized in surgery, which takes longer than just becoming a general practitioner.
While I was in London, my English improved to the point where a lot of folks could no longer hear my Russian accent when I spoke. I also learned BSL after meeting Avery Justice, a fellow doctor in training who is deaf. We’re still pen-pals, occasionally discussing cases, though never saying the names of our patients or how they got the injuries and illnesses we talk about.
