So this is the start for an asari empire AU that was prompted at some point and has gotten away from me. The Empire AU isn’t the nicest universe, but I couldn’t bring myself to write a Mirror Universe level of bad place. (MU episodes in star trek make me anxious as fuck for the entire episode).

Thaia couldn’t keep it to herself anymore. It was bugging the ever-loving fuck out of her and now she was going to share so it it would bug the ever-loving fuck out of her squadmates, too. “She doesn’t look like a pirate.”

“Why’s that?” asked Paion, their sniper.

“Pirates don’t usually wear lab coats, for one.”

Their hostage, Lexi, according to the dossier, finally spoke up for the first time since they’d reached the prefab they were using as a base. “I’m wearing a lab coat because I’m a physician, not a pirate. Tell me, do you each possess one lonely brain cell? Or do you share a single brain cell amongst the three of you?”

Lovely as Lexi’s voice was, the things she said hurt more than getting fucking shot. “Also,” Thaia said, “pirates usually eviscerate people with sharp blades, not words.”

“I’m good with a scalpel. Would you care for a demonstration?”

“We’re not giving you a scalpel,” Minyae said. 

Lexi settled back against the wall behind the small plasteel bench she was sitting on. “Such a shame. I hope using your collective brain cell didn’t cause too much strain.”

Thaia paced, trying to settle down, but it was still bugging the fuck out of her. She needed to get it across to her squadmates how fucked they could be before they all ended up entirely fucked over. “Seriously, think about it. We picked her up in a verified lab that had actual scientists and doctors working there. And the stuff they were talking about was—”

“Kallistrate, stop thinking so much,” Paion said. “Out loud, especially.”

“And stop fucking pacing,” Minyae added.

Thaia leaned against the prefab’s wall, reflexively double checking the status of the cell’s security measures. She’d keep her thoughts to herself, but she wasn’t about to stop thinking. Since the moment her squad had descended on the lab, nothing about this counter-piracy mission had felt right, including how the target pickup had been easy. Too easy. Unless there was a significant sum of credits offered, pirates always fought back. Now, as far as Thaia knew from the briefing, no credits had been offered and so they’d been told to expect resistance. 

There had not been.

Instead, everyone in the lab had their hands up and kept them there when the team had gone in, no one had even verbally objected—aside from the target, who’d had plenty of objections and made them all so sharply they should’ve drawn blood—and they’d exited the lab less than five minutes after entering. No shots fired. From what Thaia had observed of the data displayed on terminal screens, a lot of it was statistical—a subject Thaia had studied as part of a remote undergraduate program—and the rest had looked a lot like the stuff her aunt, a biochemist, sometimes brought home. In other words, it all looked legit, and none of the chemical compounds were biochemical weapons related, either. Then Thaia ran a records check and discovered a fucking mountain-high stack of medical credentials under the name Lexi T’Perro—apparently a psychologist as well as a physician—and the photo ID and DNA were a dead-on match. So, either Lexi was a reformed pirate, an undercover pirate with fifteen educations to match, or she really was a doctor like she claimed and not a pirate at all.

And doctors were non-combatants. Doctors were off-limits. Doctors were to be left alone because they healed people. Commandos were supposed to protect them.

Not only was abducting a doctor and holding her for ransom morally and ethically wrong, but it also teetered on the edge of war crime.

Maybe she should bring that up. Even katastra, despite their reputations, didn’t commit war crimes. And this squad wasn’t even katastra. Just the regular type of counter-ops squad in the Empire’s military. 

Before Thaia could mention anything, Calchas, their XO, walked into the room. Paion and Minyae got to their feet and Thaia straightened up from the wall.

 Once Calchas had their full attention, she said, “Good news: the hostage has been verified as the correct target, despite being a doctor.”

“As I’ve been saying,” Lexi said.

Calchas scowled at her. “Shut it.”

“Tell me there’s not mo—” Paion started to say.

At the same time, Thaia said, “We should let her—”

Calchas cut them both off. “Bad news: she’s the doctor for Omega’s controlling syndicate.”

“Fuck,” Minyae said. “You’re telling me we’re holding Aria Fucking T’Loak’s doctor?”

“Worst news,” Calchas said. “Her mother is Aria’s top and longest-serving lieutenant.”

“So we’re letting her go?” Thaia asked. “The right thing to do aside, that’s also the sane thing to do if we all don’t want to die. Because Aria will come after Lexi herself and she’ll mercilessly slaughter us in the process.”

Calchas shook her head. “Mission’s still a go.”

Thaia gaped at her. The fuck. Maybe the Katastrae, the specialized division her former unit was part of, did some questionable and devastatingly brutal things, but they’d never fucked around with doctors or medics. The fuck was a standard commando unit doing pulling shit like this? ”You have to be fucking kidding me.”

“Did my XO misspeak, Lieutenant Kallistrate?” Captain Nasrin asked as she stepped into the room. “I didn’t hear her misspeak. The hostage stays our hostage. We play this right, no one dies. No one on our side, anyway. But this means we need to shore up our defenses and prep for a heavy assault.”

Strictly speaking I’ve written for three fandoms but I’ve only ever published my Mass Effect & Star Wars fics on AO3. (The third is Star Trek TOS but that was a private thing between an old school friend and me. We used to gift each other handwritten fics.)

No, I don’t.

I don’t think so? Well, once, kind of, but it wasn’t raging hate more a complaint that I didn’t write something the way this person expected?

Yeah, I do. It’s mostly vanilla and occasionally some light BDSM. If you mean what kind of pairings, well, M/F, M/M, F/F, M/M/F, and I have some F/F/M in my drafts.

I think I might have? I honestly don’t remember.

All time favorite? In all fandoms I kind of follow? Oof, that’s a tough choice. I’m just going to go with female Shepard x Kaidan Alenko.

What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

I have three multi-chapter WIPs and I hope to finish them all...

What are your writing strengths?

Uhhhhh, dialogue, maybe?

What are your writing weaknesses?

Plotting, description, fucking transitions...

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I try to avoid it because I feel it disturbs the reading flow. A phrase here or there is fine but large amounts of esp. fictional languages put me off [stares at Star Wars fandom].

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Star Trek TOS (This was like, 30 years ago...)

What’s your favorite fic that you’ve written?

Oooooof. Several come to mind. I really like my post-Revenge of the Sith Ventrobi AU Under Twin Suns (which I’ve sadly been struggling with) and The Long Road will always be close to my heart even if parts are in dire need of a rewrite but currently I think it either has to be my pre-Codywan one shot Appreciation, Nothing More or one of my Jangobi fics mentioned earlier.

“You have got to be shitting me.”

Alex put her head in her hands. Fuck her life. Fuck it all to hell. They were approaching the end of this charade. The public had eaten it up. People loved seeing the two of them together, little glimpses of their ‘lives together.’ And now this, this absolute shit.

“It’s just two weeks,” Jane sighed. She really needed a raise after the last six months. Badly. “Just two weeks. On a beach. In the Caribbean. It’s god damned paradise, Lex.”

“Filled with scheming paparazzi. Cameras every fucking where. With James Fucking Barnes. Yeah, that sounds like absolute paradise,” she retorted sarcastically. God, was this over yet? Could she just end this bullshit and get on with her life already?

“After this, we’ll stage the breakup. Barnes’s camp is fine with you being the one to initiate it. Some bullshit about needing time to figure things out. But we love and respect each other, blah, blah, blah. Just two weeks, Alex. Two. That’s it.”

That night. God damn, he couldn’t get it out of his head. It had been a few months, but it played over and over in his mind. Practically running out the theater back door. Making their way down Broadway. Ducking into the cafe. Alex was so beautiful to him. Everything about her. And Bucky fucked it up, because that’s what Bucky did.

They boarded the private jet, her jaw was clenched when he tried to help her with her bags. “I’m not some damsel in distress, Barnes,” she huffed. She did nothing to hide her utter disdain for him. And it broke his heart.

Stupid dumbass. Falling for the girl he had no business falling for. James Buchanan Barnes didn’t fall in love. Period. He kept trying to convince himself. Maybe if he said it enough times, it would be true. But it wasn’t. God damn. He really fucked this up.

The pictures graced the gossip blogs by the next afternoon. The two of them. Lounging on the beach. Her head in his lap. Laughing at something he said. If they only knew the truth. They’d see what a sham it really was.

The lovebirds looked especially happy, frolicking in the white sand. Playing in the ocean. Rumors are swirling that the two are planning on cohabitating on their return to New York in a few weeks. A source close to the couple say that James has had his eye on a few rings as well. Could an engagement be in the near future?

Alex wanted to throw up. Cohabitating. Engaged. Total trash. Their PR was doubling down. Preparing for the inevitable. The final fucking end of this utter bullshit. She was so tired of faking it. So tired of living an absolute lie. Seven months of whatever the hell this was. She was done with it.

Two miserable weeks. Bucky slept through most of it. Drank. Whatever he needed to do to survive it. She didn’t even look in his direction when they were inside the beach house. Separate rooms. No words, just silence. He was secretly glad their time was up. He needed to recalibrate.

He couldn’t wait to get home. Get back to work. Get back to normal. Get back to fucking whatever he could get his hands on. He was determined to drown in as much pussy as possible. Maybe that would take away the sting. That nagging ache in his chest. The one he’d put there himself.

Reps confirm the end of the relationship. It’s splitsville for James and Alex.

It’s the end, folks. James Barnes and Alex Pierce have confirmed that they’ve split. No reason was given, but sources say that Pierce wanted to focus on work, and needed some time to figure things out. “She felt that they were maybe moving a little too fast. She absolutely loves James and has nothing but respect for him. She thinks she just needs some time alone,” one source told us.

Another source close to Barnes says he’s taking it as well as to be suspected. “He’s surrounded himself with friends and family, all determined to support him at this time,” the source told us. “He really believed Alex was the one for him. She definitely made him a changed man. He was ready to settle down with her,” a second source confirms.

Alex took a shaky breath. God, she’d never been this nervous in her entire life.

“You gonna breathe or what, Lexie?”

She opened her eyes and rolled them at her brother’s question. “Why do you always have to be such an ass, Joey? I’m fuckin’ terrified right now. Give me a break. I’ve literally never done anything this big in my career. This is massive.”

“It’s not the end of the world.”

Fucking Joey. Still a pain in her ass twenty eight years later. “Come on, Alexandra. Game face.”

She was blinded as soon as they stepped out of the car. He took her hand, letting her brace herself against him. He was her rock, he always was. Pain in the ass, but still her best friend. No one got her quite like Joey. No one ever would.

“Maybe you won’t see him,” he whispered in her ear, leading her down the red carpet. Bulbs flashed, paps screamed. She’d stop, smile. Stop, smile again. Over and over until they reached the end, swarming with reporters. Every news outlet. Gossip bloggers. All wanted a piece. She hated this part.

“Yeah right,” she muttered. Bucky was nominated. She’d see him. She was presenting the fucking award he was nominated for. Sweet, sweet irony. The cruelest kind there was. Two damn years. God, she shouldn’t be so scared. They’d both moved on. She met someone, dated for nearly a year. Bucky hopped from girl to girl. Seemingly a new one every few months.

Always papped with them. Because why not? Maybe Bucky lived for the attention. Who knew? And why did it matter? She doubted he even gave a damn for her. Especially after all this time. They’d both risen in the ranks. Alex had scored quite a few starring roles. She was what they considered A-list these days.

Bucky had become one of the biggest movie stars in the world. Leading a superhero franchise. Nominated for an Oscar for the war drama he’d starred in. Everyone wanted a piece of him. He had it all. Everything he could have dreamt of.

Alex’s hands shook. He watched carefully as she stood off to the side of the stage. The golden gown she was draped in was stunning. Fit her absolutely perfectly. She still blew his mind two years later. He’d watched her as her career took off, becoming a sought after star. He couldn’t help but feel proud.

His hands were sweaty from carrying the golden trophy, everyone stopping to congratulate him.

He wanted to talk to her. Soothe the nerves that were still wracking through her. He wanted to hold her. But he had forfeited that right a long time ago. She wasn’t his to hold. She was never really his, was she? He’d blown that chance out of the water.

She finally pulled herself together and made her way out of backstage, presumably back to her seat. He briefly wondered who she’d come with. A date maybe? Someone lucky enough to have landed such a beautiful woman. Jealousy didn’t suit him, so he’d push it down.

Maybe, just maybe, if he was lucky, he’d get a second chance.

Physical description: AJ stands at around 5′6″ (167.64 cm), with a mostly lithe build. Dark, nearly black eyes, and pixie cut naturally brown hair, though she dyes it red because it distances her from her past a bit. Deep scar on her neck from Akuze, and two lighter ones across her nose and jaw. Has about twenty million (more accurately, nine she keeps open) piercings from over the years, though more often than not, keeps the three up her left ear and two up her right with earrings in whenever she’s on shore leave.

Clothing style: AJ doesn’t usually intend it, but she goes for a far less ‘standing out’ sort of look than one would expect. Hiding in hoodies is usually her go to look, even though her dark makeup and bright red hair makes her rather difficult to lose in a crowd. Something like this.

BACKGROUND

AJ is a spacer kid, through and through. Mostly having grown up on various stations, home had always been among the stars (and Arcturus). She definitely doesn’t know much else, and for a time, that was okay. Having never known her father, it was just her and Hannah for the longest time. Her biotics then developed in her early teen years, and things shifted. Considering just how new they were around the time her aptitude was discovered, there were a lot of unknowns -- and to a point, that fascinated and terrified her. AJ just nearly skirted ending up at Jump Zero, which until she found out exactly what’d happened there, she was convinced her mother had effectively stunted whatever developing powers she had. Hannah had never wanted an implant for her daughter, even if she was lucky enough to still be alive after eezo exposure, she didn’t want to lose her to whatever side effects could come of it. Not to mention, AJ was just a frustrated person and frustrating person to be around. Loud, a bit of a perfectionist and not the best socially were a recipe for disaster. Funnily enough, small spaces weren’t good for a developing biotic, and a hyperactive kid with too much energy to burn. Regulating her emotions was a long and very difficult task stemming from her childhood, something Hannah just didn’t have the time or emotional capacity for. Every teacher of her’s always had something to say about the disruptive and frankly, entirely absent Shepard kid, and to no one’s surprise, it took a toll on AJ, who couldn’t really figure out why she was the way she was. No one was really able to help her either.

So of course, she doubled down on it. While she masked some things, she amplified others. AJ became a bit of a social butterfly, but only because she was rather intuitive to how others acted, and copied it near perfectly. Showing up to classes was rarely something she wanted to do, and was more than happy to sit and stare into space, or play with what limited biotic abilities she had. Which only lead to more of a rift between mother and daughter, the former who couldn’t figure out why her all around intelligent daughter was so determined not to use that intelligence for good, and the latter who couldn’t figure out what people wanted from her. They never verbally fought (well, not really. AJ can count on two hands how many times it was more a stern talking to -- and very one sided), but it was clear enough to AJ that she’d never quite be enough for Captain Shepard.

By the time AJ met Anderson around the age of seventeen, she was just near about to careen off the radar entirely. Hannah couldn’t figure her out no matter what she did, and AJ no longer really cared for what she thought. AJ had never gotten to be violent, but she was someone that her peers more respected than actually liked. One of the only students to still hold a passing grade (mostly off of exams) without having ever really shown aptitude for anything. A chance meeting during one weekend that really did turn her life around a bit, even if she was a bit put off by how kind Anderson was to her. The Alliance gave her a purpose at the very least. Her skills were put to use, and by nineteen, she’d followed in some of the footsteps that Hannah left. One of her first real deployments was to the eventual squad that followed up on leads to Akuze. One man, Walter Castillo, had taken a liking to her and took the young biotic under his wing. He was also the one that had made her begin using the name June instead of her first name, Alexandra, so that she could put some distance between herself and the girl that’d been such a thorn in everyone’s side. Staff Commander Castillo was one of her only acquaintances during that time, and like Anderson, a father figure to her.

Akuze was, evidently, the first time she’d ever failed. The entire mission plagues her like no other. She still deals with the lasting scars it left on her, and has never been able to really talk about the massacre with anyone, especially after Castillo was one of the last people for her to hear and she spent a very, very long four hours waiting for extraction, in the dark, and in tears.

After that, Shepard became a bit of a recluse. She was seen as too much of an omen to most to ever build lasting relationships with, and she didn’t mind it. She had seen herself as a disappointment to her mother for years on end and a failure to her squad on Akuze -- she wasn’t ready to add another crew to the list. She rose through the ranks rather quietly until Anderson picked her back up for a tour on the Normandy.

AJ was a name she chose for herself, in the end. Not Alexandra, who’d only be imperfect in the eyes of the people who cared about her, and not June, who’d failed the people who needed her. AJ Shepard was a blank slate, who was still tainted with the failures of the past, but was growing beyond it.

COMBAT & SKILLS

Preferred fighting style: AJ is a sentinel, which by every definition, doesn’t really make her a frontline soldier. Yet, you’ll find her leading the charge anyway. She’s trained in just about every weapon, but is more than happy to carry just a pistol into combat and relies heavily on her biotics. Mostly employing medium strength armor, and consistently will put her own wellbeing in danger for others. Some call her reckless. She is, but isn’t about to let someone die if she has anything to say about it. Not again.

Unlike her fellow sentinel, Kaidan, she’s far less about control. Not to say she isn’t capable, but when push comes to shove, she is not above cheap shots or letting loose.

Favorite weapon(s): Her pistol of choice is the N7 Eagle.

Special skills: An N7 Sentinel with extensive biotic training post-enlistment, and while fine-tuning is something she still needs to work on, her biotics are her favorite. She’s rather proud of how far she’s come. While sitting still to learn proper tech, she is definitely the creative type. Unconventional strategies are her forte, and and overload combo is the single best thing.

RELATIONSHIPS

Family: Hannah Shepard (mother), Miranda Lawson (wife).

Love interest: In her ‘canon’ of sorts, Miranda Lawson, who she’s happily married to after the Reaper War. In an AU, Kaidan Alenko.

Best friends: Has friends out of Jack (much to Miranda’s chagrin), Liara, Jacob, Kaidan, and James.

PERSONALITY

AJ is nothing if not a little bit spiky all around. She is blunt, and will never lie to your face even if it hurts. She is not one for empty compliments, at all. They piss her off, and she knows when someone’s lying to her face, even if it’s just to make her smile. Because of that, it takes a bit for someone to become even acquaintances with her, and she doesn’t like to get to know her crew that much, even if pressed. It mostly stems from her fear that as soon as she becomes as close to them as she did Walter, she’ll lose them. After they lost Ashley, it only became that much clearer. She left the investigation into Saren knowing more about her crew than they knew about her, and that was fine. That wasn’t ideal, but she didn’t know much better.

The crew of the Normandy SR-2 that followed her into the maw on the suicide mission were the first people who ever saw much of her personality, someone who was going through an identity crisis but also someone who didn’t really have anyone left she cared about, and was convinced she was defective. Her own floundering attempts to cultivate real relationships and friendships months away from possibly dying after already having been brought back weren’t futile, at least. Her past made her cynical, but given the time, it made her care for the people who weren’t out to get her that much more. While it may not have always been clear because of how quiet she was (and how many roundabout ways she had to show that she cared), by the time they arrived back to Earth, there wasn’t much question that she wouldn’t lay her life on the line for these people. Seen as a bit fatalistic at times, she only does it because, well, she can’t stand the idea of losing someone else. Suffocating almost. Still, it makes her a good friend though. 

Her love language is words of affirmation -- people confirming that she hasn’t done anything wrong, or that they still do love and care for her is all she ever wanted when she was younger.

The red, short hair and piercings were more of acts of rebellion, if anything, that followed her into adulthood. She gave it up during her service with the Alliance to revert back to brown, though went right back to it during her stint with Cerberus. Checks out and tracks that when she came back to the Alliance three years later, Kaidan didn’t recognize her at first.

(Y/n) was pacing back and forth muttering words of encouragement under her breath. Today was the day Bruce was finally doing the DNA test which everyone had been putting off. Just about everyone, including (Y/n), was gathered in the living room waiting for the results.  "Doll, will you please stop pacing" Bucky asked rubbing his forehead watching her pace was giving him a headache. "Sorry, I'm just really anxious. My feet can't stop moving"  

Bucky looked to his right to see the girl sitting stiff fidgeting with her fingers. It looked as if (Y/n)'s anxiety was rubbing off on her. He could imagine where her thoughts were going.  "Come here" Bucky waved her over she took a seat in his lap "Why are you so anxious everything is going to be fine." "I guess I'm scared we'll do this blood test and find out she has parents who are alive and well and that they'll want her and they'll take her." (Y/n) said leaning back on his shoulder.  "You know the possibility of that happening is slim to none, right?" Natasha said  "yeah but my negative thoughts are trying to drown me. I really want to keep her" "You also know that she's right her. She might not have a name but she's still here" Clint said gesturing to the girl sitting next to him.  (Y/n) looked at her "HI" Little Miss smiled. Hearing (Y/n)'s reason for being anxious did put her a bit at ease.  "Results" Bruce said as he walked in waving the tablet over his head. With a squeal (Y/n) jumped up and ran over trying to take the tablet from him but he put it over her head refusing to give it to her.  "no, no. I'm reading them go away I'm reading them." "Then read them and stop messing around" (Y/n) demanded Steve came over and pulled her into his lap holding her down. "Alright, DNA results says that ….. James and (Y/n) Rogers-Barnes. You're both her parents."  The room fell into a few seconds of silence. Then (Y/n) jumped up with a squeal and hopped on Little Miss next to her bringing her into a tight suffocating hug. The young girl was startled hands awkwardly by her side as she looked around the room for help but everyone was just smiling and laughing as they watched the two. "I'm sorry" (Y/n) giggled a bit wiping away her tears as she let her go backing up " I just... we get to keep you-" "She's not a dog"  "We get to love you. I would have fought for you anyways I'm just happy I don't have to. This is wonderful. Oh we should throw a party. I'm going to make a cake. SOMEONE CALL PETER"  (Y/n) screamed as she jumped up rushing out of the room. Everyone just laughed at her she was to in her head to see it.  The young girl of the hour just looked around a bit confused she didn't really know what she would be doing now or where she would be going. Well, from (Y/n)'s reaction she gathered she wouldn't be leaving the tower any time soon. Everyone congratulated Steve and Bucky and told her they were happy to have her and to come to any of them if she needed help. After a while Bucky noticed how uncomfortable she was and volunteered to take her to her room which she had yet to have seen.  "(Y/n) has already decorated it. Color and set up wise you can add more if you want or change it. It's up to you." Bucky said awkwardly he didn't really know what else to say to her.  While as (y/n) was excited and overzealous with her and ready to be her mother despite everything Bucky, on the other hand, was a different story. Bucky was nervous and cautious. Nervous because this was happening really fast she wasn't a child or baby she was a teenager near full grown adult so there wasn't really a starting point to get comfortable or grow and get to know her and she came from Hydra he wasn't aware of what his relationship with her in Hydra was or if they even met or what Hydra had done to her, what she could do, or what could trigger her. And then he was cautious because once again she came from Hydra despite them saving her and letting her running away they didn't know everything about her and she could be a danger to them, it was yet to be determined. There was a fine line Bucky was standing on and he didn't know which side he was going to be on. " This is our room feel free to come to us whenever and right here is your room." They stopped in front of her door, across the hall and a little ways down from their door. on it was a yellow name panel shaped like a star but it was empty as they had no name for her yet and they didn't want to put her number up.  Bucky opened the door stepping in she slowly followed.  "Lock" Bucky turned around to she her messing with the door nob she apparently found the lock and was very interested in it.  "Yeah, your room, your space no one has to come in here if you don't want them to. You can lock the door whenever. Of course, if there is an emergency Friday can be used to unlock the door but if that ever happens she'll warn you before hand. I doubt that will ever happen." He said as he watched her mess with the lock for a few more seconds. She looked adorable messing with it like it was a new toy. She finally lost interest in just the lock and started looking around the room.  "(Y/n) said you picked blue"  The room was very simple. One wall across from the door made entirely of windows and three light blue walls. Her King size bed with light blue and white sheets and pillows and desk against one wall, Tv cross on the next wall, and her drawer on the wall next to the door. "Your closet is to the left of the tv and your bathroom to the right. All your hygiene products are in there, if there is anything else you need come to (Y/n) and I don't want to give Steve a heart attack. There isn't much in your closet now but I'm sure (Y/n) and Wanda will force some more online shopping upon you. It isn't that bed actually... I'll leave you to wonder and explore. Again if you need someone we're here" With that Bucky left the room shutting the door behind him leaving her to do as she pleased in her new room.  "How is she?" (Y/n) asked as he made his way into the kitchen Steve was sitting at the counter watching her bake away. Baking a cake had turned into baking anything sweet she could think of and Steve imagined that she would be running out of ingredients soon.  "Can't really say she doesn't talk much. I know she was very interested in her lock. I guess she didn't think we'd give her one."  "I can see why she'd think that" Steve said " we didn't sort of forbid her from leaving the infirmary when she was there."   "Well, we didn't really mean to forbid her we just didn't want her wondering around there getting hurt, getting lost, or stumbling upon something she shouldn't have like another patience. I talked to Tony she's free to move around the tower as she pleases" (Y/n) hands Steve a bowl and spoon to lick clean as she moved on to making the next thing. "Well, with Friday monitoring her moves I don't see the problem with her wondering. Plus she knows she isn't really going to wonder to far seeing as she only like You and Bruce so far." "She'll warm up to you guys... eventually. I'm just special."  she hummed and winked  "I think it's because she gives her food" Steve whispers licking his spoon. (Y/n) heard and flicked flour at him. " That's not true... I don't think? Either way she's with us now so we're going to take care of her. We're going to get her through this and we'll be family."

FAQ/Request Guidelines

I’ve had a lot of people messaging me asking what my guidelines are for requesting because the one I have up does not have enough information on it so I’ve updated my guidelines:

When you request something, please Be Clear with what you want. I need more than steve rogers smut or fluff? This gives me nothing to write with.

I reserve the right to reject a request. I try my hardest to write each request I receive but it does get the best of me and I never get the chance to get around to do it. If you do send in a request and I do not either:  1) know who the person is  2) you hound me repeatedly for the story, on or off anon 3) I’m uncomfortable writing it, I have the right not to write it

If you request anything NSFW, you MUST be older than 18. I can not stress how important this is.

I will do oneshots, drabbles, imagines, mood boards, and a short series (if needed)

Please be patient! I try my hardest to write each and every request I’m sent but it is hard! But don’t worry! Your request will eventually be posted!
