Dear princess Celestia: Recently I realized that I haven't been interacting with the people I look up to in a healthy way.

Like... I parasocialize hard. And I really need to get better at that. These people inspire me and allow me to discover my true self, and so naturally I wanna message them and be like "zomg!! thank you so much!! your art helped me" and I need to understand that just because they're a public figure doesn't mean they don't have boundaries.

I went off the deep end, and did things I realize now crossed those boundaries... But there are no perfect machines. Stress points let us know what to reinforce. And this experience has taught me to respect the space and privacy of my mentors and inspirations.

Just because I know their stories, doesn't mean I know them.
