Durante a CCXP, o Prime Vídeo revelou novos pôsteres dos personagens principais de Fallout.

A série vai revelar o que existe por trás das portas do Cofre 33, que fica em L.A., uma das fortalezas subterrâneas que protegem os humanos do mundo pós-apocalíptico do jogo. Anteriormente, o serviço de streaming liberou uma foto com Vault Boy, que é com o 'mascote' do jogo, com a frase “Los Angeles — Onde os sonhos se tornam realidade“.

Em entrevista ao Vanity Fair, Todd Howard, chefão da Bethesda, disse que a produção será canônica dentro do universo dos jogos, além de confirmar que a produção terá uma história original.

“Vemos o que está acontecendo na série como cânone. Isso é ótimo, quando alguém olha para o seu trabalho e consegue traduzi-lo de alguma forma. […] Não queria fazer uma interpretação de uma história existente. Tivemos muitos esboços, como um filme de Fallout 3. Mas eu falei: ‘É, mas já contamos essa história’. Não tenho interesse em ver isso sendo adaptado. Estou interessado em ver alguém contando uma história única de Fallout. Trate como se fosse um jogo. Isso dá aos criadores da série mais espaço para brincar.”

O elenco conta com Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, Aaron Moten, Moisés Arias, Kyle MacLachlan, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O’Hagan e Xelia Mendes-Jones.

A produção executiva conta com Athena Wickham, Jonathan Nolan e Lisa Joy, enquanto Geneva Robertson-Dworet e Graham Wagner assumem os papéis de showrunner.

Fallout estreia no dia 12 de abril de 2024.

I truly LUV Legendary Leslie Uggams.  When you hear folks in the entertainment industry give accolades of Black Entertainers, you never hear them utter the Great Leslie Uggams name.  I’m soooooooo GRATEFUL that CBS Sunday Morning did because Leslie Uggams is Truly a Legend, Groundbreaker and Change Maker.  Please watch this expose.

Can we just show some love for #LeslieUggams she plays Lucious mom on #Empire. Leslie Marian Uggams (born May 25, 1943)is an American actress and singer. Beginning her career as a child in the early 1950s, Uggams is recognized for portraying Kizzy Reynolds in the television miniseries Roots (1977), earning Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominations for her performance. She had earlier been highly acclaimed for the Broadway musical Hallelujah, Baby!, winning a Theatre World Award in 1967 and the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical in 1968.Later in her career, Uggams received renewed notice with appearances alongside Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool (2016) and in a recurring role on Empire.
