I’m so sorry for taking FOREVER to reply to this, but I don’t check into Tumblr every day anymore. To anyone who’s interested, I’m almost done tracking the audio and should have it up in a day or two. I will slowly get around to tracking my other two audios from the Singapore run as well (including one with Daniel Belle i.e., understudy Valjean). 

If you do want this audio and/or would like to set up a trade (although, tbh, trades are lovely but not required, I’ll be gifting it), just drop me a message! If you’ve already sent me a message, I’ll be getting back to you soonest!!

[BONUS PART 3 B/C I COULDN’T FIT EVERYTHING INTO TWO POSTS] #lesmissg #lesmiserables #lesmisforlife #doyouhearthepeoplesing #cries Have you ever loved something so much that it actually hurts? That’s how I feel about Les Mis. It kills me but it makes me feel so alive! I feel so happy when I’m doing anything to do with Les Mis, but I’m so sad it’s over! I was absolutely devastated when they left Singapore. My post Les Mis depression started the second I got home. Like I literally cried myself to sleep on 24 July. I’ve been listening to the soundtrack non-stop. I made so many new friends while waiting to meet the cast, and it’s just so nice to meet people who are as crazy as you about the same things!!! I am so grateful to have had so many opportunities to watch Les Mis, I just love it so much! On a side note, I love the transition between “The Waltz of Treachery” and “Paris/Look Down”. I cried so much on Sunday's show. Especially when Éponine and Gavroche and basically everyone died. And during "Turning" and "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables" and during the finale!!! Just seeing all the dead people come back... I was crying so much.Btw this pic is of Huey Min, Cheryl (@jukugo ) and me on Saturday night at the Stage Doors. This was the first time we met, but we fangirled so hard over Les Mis together! I hope that I will never forget these wonderful, wonderful memories of watching Les Mis, meeting the cast, and making new friends. Les Miserables Singapore

The spectacular Les Misérables is in town till July 24th. As big fans of the musical, my parents and I had to clear our schedule and catch the musical “live” for the very first time.

Here’s a quick look at my night at the theater with my parents:

If you are catching the musical, remember to make your way to the foyer before the show and during the intermission to view the costumes and to take pictures with the posters and displays.

Here’s my view from the $58 Circle 3 seats. It is a decent location where I could have an unobstructed view of the stage. The acoustics of the theater was fantastic so I was able to hear my favorite songs (e.g. ”One Day More” and “Bring Him Home”) loud and clear. 

The musical lived up to its expectations with outstanding performances from the entire cast. It is definitely a musical not to be missed!

[PART 2/2] #lesmissg #lesmiserables #lesmisforlife #doyouhearthepeoplesing #cries The most obvious and biggest change was Gavroche's lines in "Paris/Look Down". I squealed internally when I noticed the change! I think it was Kieran McGinlay who was playing him that afternoon. He sang, "This is the land that fought for liberty, now when we fight we fight for bread. Here's the thing about equality, everyone's equal when their dead. Take your place, take your chance. Vive la France, VIVE LA FRANCE!" instead of "This is my school, my high society, here in the slums of Saint Michel. We live on crumbs of humble piety, tough on the teeth, but what the hell! Think you're poor, think you're free? Follow me, FOLLOW ME!" HE SANG THE MOVIE VERSION LYRICS AAHHHHH!!! IT WAS SO COOL!!! Another change (at lesst I think that this is a change) is that in "The Robbery", Thénardier made his voice go really high and he wrapped a shawl around his head when he talked to Valjean, pretending to be a woman. But then after he recognised him, he dropped his voice back to its usual deepness. I don't know if this is just me, but I think Mme. Thénardier sang some of Thénardier's lines, like "Wait a bit, know that face." I'm just gonna take this opportunity to GUSH over "One Day More". IT HAS SUCH AMAZING CHOREOGRAPHY, LIKE WHEN THEY ALL MARCHED FORWARDS IT'S SO FREAKING COOL ❤❤❤ On a side note, Chris Durling's voice is so nice and low and sexy as hell. "One Day More" never fails to be, and sound amazing. Another small change is during "Building the Barricade"; Éponine sings "Little he knows, little he cares!" instead of "Little you know, little you care!" Oh, and during "Master of the House", don't know if this is just me, but I think the notes to "Or I'm not Thénardier!" were slightly different. Just saying, "On My Own" was do amazing and perfect and Kerrie Anne Greenland was so fantastic and she is definitely my favourite Éponine!!! (at Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay)
