BILLY LENZ (black christmas)
•pansexual, i just think he will hyperfixate on anyone and it doesn't matter the gender
•hypersexual, (from being raped by his mom) and sexualizes himself a lot and really only sees himself as an object
•speaking of his mom she was physically and mentally abusive aswell
•has echolalia, repeats every word or sound he likes
•has undiagnosed autism and adhd
•speaking of autism and adhd, he stims like alot when he's happy
•he self harms, it's either cutting, pulling his hair, skin picking, hitting himself, burning himself (with a lighter he stole), starving himself then eating till he throws up, smokes but hates the taste of alcohol or any type of drug
•the green sweater is his comfort sweater (probably has never washed it before and has cat hair all over it)
•has a giant sweet tooth and loves cheesecake
•really skinny (i mean so skinny you can see his ribs)

¿No oye usted nada, no oye esa espantosa voz que grita por todo el horizonte, una voz a la que le suele darse el nombre de silencio?
—Georg Büchner, Lenz en Obras completas. Traducción de Carmen Gauger.

2/21/24.
I was listening to the excellent new LP from False Tracks today and it made me think of this long lost LP from Oakland-based band Lenz. Lenz was active in the early 2010s - well before the Bay Area blew up as the musical mecca it is now considered.
As I was listening to Lenz and loving it's Television influenced sound, I realized that R.E. Seraphin was a member of the band. Seraphin popped up recently due to the fact that he is releasing a new LP via UK label Safe Suburban Home. Seraphin states that he is influenced by Green on Red - and I can see that somewhat hidden in the music of Lenz.
"Way To End A Day" was released by Oakland music store/label 1-2-3-4 Go Records. They had an excellent single on Sacramento label S-S Records.

yesterday in my Ennui lit class we read Lenz by Georg Buchner and i went feral for 15 (fifteen) minutes straight as opposed to the 5mins i was allotted and i was quite literally ranting and raving about how incredible the work was and how it was the first time i’ve seen my unique and painful life experience of everything being too much and too beautiful and therefore too painful and everyone just looked at me like i was crazy cause i mean the story is crazy and for me to resonate so strongly then i must be crazy. but it felt just like AP Lang in my junior year of high school when we read The Catcher in the Rye and everyone only saw Holden as a pretentious asshole instead of a deeply tormented and observant young person and once again everyone just gave me that Look that’s made me miserable my whole life. why can’t anyone understand?

My draft in Alphard stage (alpha). Btw his name is Friedrich Lenz, 23-25 yo, and he'll be one of the MC in my story draft: 1 + i (or is there any better title???)
I decided to draw something to release my exfoliating ennui away... and take a distance from furries for days!

(it doesn't mean I hate them; it's just like... a hiatus from it. For a relief!)
