Just found out my friend MLB player #LennyRandle has passed. A ‘Bright Light” to all his friends, with that infectious smile & laugh. He invited me several times to his Italian baseball camp. Good guy. May Lenny ride on wings of Angels to a heavenly rest. https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/mlb/lenny-randle-major-leaguer-repeatedly-in-spotlight-for-12-seasons-dies-at-75/

Lest We Forget: Lenny Randle
Lenny Randle, perhaps best known on the field for trying to blow a baseball into foul territory, passed away last week at the age of 75. (He was also notorious for punching out Texas manager Frank Lucchesi in 1974.) Randle, who played just about ever position except for pitcher and catcher, made his debut with the Washington Senators in 1971, spending most of his 12-year career with the…

Feel free to contact me on any platform! The only one I might not answer on for awhile is Freaky Steve Randle on Pinterest. But you could always just DM me on here! I take requests for art, but I won’t do nsfw, like no actual intercourse 😀🫶 And no, I don’t charge money for requests lol <3 it just might take me awhile 💝
Also on my thoughts on ships in the outsiders!
I’m honestly okay with any ship as long as it’s not like- ILLEGAL…like shipping siblings or minors with adults. One ship in particular I love though, would have to be Parry! (PaulxDarry has me in a chokehold, I love those homos) 🩷
Interests!
The Outsiders (who could’ve guessed!?)
Scott Pilgrim (book series, Game, Movie, and animated series)
Mouthwashing (Video Game)
Cooking/Baking 😋
My cultures! (I’m half Mexican and half Polish to my best knowledge lol)
I love art ✂️
All of these music artists 👇

Concerts 😻🫶 (I just love going to them! Most recently I went to see Morrissey like last Saturday and Weezer back in September I believe. I’ve seen a lot of concerts, since I’ve been going to them since I was like 5 like I’ve seen Lenny Kravitz twice, The Violent Femmes, The Go-Go’s, The Revivalists, and I can’t really remember the other ones lol. Some concerts I’m going to next year, are Deftones and Oasis!)
I am a minor- so please don’t send like explicit text or images to me unsolicited 😀🫶
Random Stuff 😼😼😼
I’m Bisexual! 🪼
My favorite animals are whale sharks, jellyfish, frogs, red pandas, and sugar gliders! 🌸

My favorite foods are Steak Tortas, Chile rellenos, pasta, and white rice!
My pronouns are she/her, but call me whatever you want lmao 😼😼🫶🫶
I love making bracelets 💯💯💯
Also, Darry is my favorite character from the outsiders 😼❗️❗️❗️ I love him, he sacrificed so much for his little brothers when he could’ve just stuck them in a boys home and go off to college, but no. He works his gyatt off being a provider 💯💯‼️‼️‼️ I love him sm and he deserves the entire world…actually nah, he doesn’t just deserve the world, he deserves the entire UNIVERSE ‼️‼️‼️ He’s only hard on Ponyboy cus he wants him to have the chance he never had 🥺💔
Uhhhhh that’s pretty much it ☺️🫶

Lenny Randle, ‘Most Interesting’ Major Leaguer, Is Dead at 75
His career was defined by bizarre episodes — blowing a rolling ball foul, knocking down a pitcher and being at bat when the lights went out in New York City. <#Lenny #Randle #Interesting #Major #Leaguer #Dead [ad_3]

PRODcast 170′s Old School Player of the Week: THAD BOSLEY
Thaddis Bosley spent 14 seasons with seven different teams (including the Angels twice) as a replacement-level outfielder and pinch-hitter. During his career with the Halos, White Sox, Brewers, Mariners, Cubs, Royals, and Rangers, Bosley never had more than 220 ABs in a season, never hit more than seven dingers, or 27 RBI, was voted the best pinch hitter in baseball in 1985 (by someone?), and had a career OPS+ of 89. We’re not sure the Thad Bosley type exists anymore – an extremely average player who just rides the pine for a decade and a half, but somehow carves out a spot as “Guy Who Should Grab A Bat In The 6th Inning” … and keeps it. At his peak, Bosley had a 70-grade fro and accompanying DadHat, 70-grade death stare, and a 50 stache.
After his playing career ended, Bosley had a couple coaching stints in the bigs with the A’s as a bench coach in the early 2000s, and as a hitting coach for the Rangers in 2010. Wikipedia also mentions that Bosley was briefly in a funk band called Ballplayers with Lenny Randle.

Lest We Forget: Those We Lost in 2024
Posting the piece about Lenny Randle reminded me of those end-of-year tributes by many outlets recalling the celebrities who passed away during the year. With that in mind, I thought it was appropriate to look back at the baseball figures who deaths were acknowledged on the Bookshelf. Note that the list includes a couple of people who were not players but to whom baseball was an important part of…
