Lendys begins to flush as they kiss him on the cheek, noticing their metal arms and chuckling--he did miss a lot of events..didn’t he? Oh well, there’s a time and place to ask Solaris about it and now is definitely not the time to ask them, anyway, Lendys purrs and starts pulling out the alcohol, there’s a bottle of Limoncello, a cold bottle filled with coconut milk, a white bottle, labeled Coconut Rum, a bottle of dragonfruit syrup, some coconut chunks that he stored in a small container.. and a whole dragonfruit. Which Silvanus had brought small cacti over to grow amongst more tropical continents in their world years ago, placing his arms onto the bar counter, he quips out his big grand ol’ idea.

[ “ Here’s the idea, Tall Glass, dragonfruit syrup lining the glass and the rim, coconut shavings on the rim..  cube the dragonfruit, freeze it, use the frozen dragonfruit as ice--coconut rum first, coconut milk, and top it off with limoncello, and then a slice of dragonfruit on the rim like one would with lemon and lime slices. “ ]

There seemed to be a grand plan with the concoction that Lendys had thought up on, like.. there seemed to be a lot of planning to have these specific drinks to be used in the glass. What he was hoping for was a tropical-exotic beverage that was silky smooth to go down, a mellow sweet with some acidity to boot, Lendys looked absolutely giddy to have Solaris help him with this idea, and.. well, for them to try it.

Thanks to all of you for the responses to my last message, here is my Boy Honestus!

Big thanks to my lovely DM for threatening me with love <3 Anyways, He's a Cleric of Lendy's, a chronic do-gooder who has a heart of gold but not the best or intelligent methods of doing good. (basically he puts his foot in it constantly when he's trying to help).

His trickery domain gives him ability to go invisible, pop into the ethereal plane, and be a general menace, which he uses to the full to 'help'.

He was raised in the temple of Lendy's from a very young age, since his parents wanted to fight the big bad dragon cult that leads up to the BBEG in our campaign. they left him at the temple to keep him safe (he wasn't told about the cult at all), and then they vanished from their regular visits when he was around 8 years old. (here he is shown above as a kid, teen and adult).

assuming them dead, he eventually leaves the temple because of deity gifted visions of the BBEG, and the temple finally let him leave as he is 30 now and wants to do something to help.

Here is his mom and dad, Maccath and Steven. in our travels we later found his mom had been held captive by a dragon, and we save her! *(she's a little nutty and wild, loves academic research into and about dragons, she's also sorceress, and ends up becoming a dragon rider). Steven was a lot more reserved and a bit of a nerd. He is confirmed to have passed away by ship sinking caused by the dragon that ended up kidnapping maccath.

Honestus looks a lot like his mom in appearance, but takes more after his dad in personality. big thanks to @birdsaretoddlers for actually helping write and flesh out most of this backstory and familial ties for me during the campaign, I am so attached to them all <3 Next post I will throw in a bunch of fun expressions and memes of him because why not :D

Who are the dragon gods? What's their lore? I notice they seem to be the ones from DnD.

They share names with DnD dragon gods and they take after them appearance-wise. They are not the same gods, however. They may share a few similarities here and there, but they are basically OCs.

Before I go into the details about the Gods, I need to clarify how dragons see them. To dragons, the Gods are higher beings but they do not possess the omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence or morality that Judeo‑Christian‑Islamic peoples associate with the term "God". They are more fallible and more vulnerable. They are mortal, too. If anything, they're much more like eldritch beings than divine beings. The relationship dragons have with them is very metaphorical and transactional in nature. Many dragons do not believe in their existence, or they believe they were powerful dragons who lived once and were deified for the impact they had on dragon history. Assigning patron god status to creatures and objects is still done by dragons today. Dragons who beseech the Gods definitely do not expect these deities to manifest themselves before them or actually aid them in any real way. It's more akin to an insect drawing a circle in the sand for a human to see. A human may notice the circle and become interested.

Living gods:

Io is the great creator of all dragonkind.

Bahamut is the God of enlightened justice and the good of dragonkind. He is also the God of self-cultivation.

Tiamat is the Goddess of vengeance, spite and the general evil of dragonkind.

Astilabor was originally the goddess of acquisitiveness and wealth, but is now associated with greed growth (greed-induced bigness), bad omens and vice due to the catastrophic effects of greed growth.

Task is the God of healthy greed.

Garyx is the God of fire, destruction, and renewal. He is closely associated with lava, fertility and the indiscriminate nature of the universe.

Hlal is the Goddess of humor, inventiveness, and pleasure. She is the messenger of Io and can be a bit of a trickster.

Kereska is the Goddess of dragon magic. Since it has become forbidden knowledge that all dragons possess ability to practice magic, she is associated with the the blood stone scepter instead.

Kuyutha is a demigod who served Bahamut.

Lendys is the God of harsh justice. Despite the moral implications of this title, Lendys is completely neutral. He is pure rage and will smite anyone for causing a disturbance.

Chronepsis is the God of death.

Falazure is the God of pestilence, undeath and decay.

Tamara is the forgotten Goddess of mercy and healing.

Zorquan is the God of dragonkind. To be specific, he represents the non-gem dragons who dominate the lands and skies of the western half of the world.

Sardior is the God of gem dragons.

Leviathan is the God of sea dragons.

Deceased gods:

Lernaea was the God who created hydras. It is said that when Tiamat killed him, hydras lost their ability to reason with other creatures.

Azharul was the first deity killed by Tiamat. He was a master of magic.

Kalzareinad was a demigod of magic who practiced the arts in exceedingly self-serving ways.

Odassa was the dragon God of protection of hatchlings, and of the wrath against those who harm them.

Honorable mention: the creatures who were posthumously conferred patron god status.

The following hours would pass rather quickly, with Yauch becoming more alert and talkative. Just like he promised, he told Avett all about Eevee, talking the poor Machamp’s ear off for several minutes. As the two talked, Solaris and Ross stepped out of the room for some quiet.

“He’s a rowdy kid…” Solaris said, chuckling.

“You got that right. But he's sweet. Can't help but love the little Pichu.” Ross sat down, and looked over at the Charizard. “You know… I can’t thank you all enough. You guys have… You’ve really helped me out.”

“We’re a rescue team. It’s what we do. You’ve helped us out too, giving us the food for our return trip. So thank you.” The Charizard looked down. “I just… I have a favor to ask of you.”

Ross tilted her head. “Hm? What’s up?”

“I know this is sudden, but… Byrne and Yauch… Could you look after them? Byrne told me about… Everything they lost. And I want them to at least be comfortable before shit hits the fan.” Solaris appeared to be on the brink of tears as he spoke.

“You have my word, Solaris. They’ll be safe no matter what happens.” Ross said, lightly bumping her head against the Charizard’s shoulder. “And hey… Once you all leave… Be sure to kick LaPlante’s ass. For everyone.”

Solaris chuckled, giving a hug to the Sylveon. "You have my word, Ross." That was when he heard a voice from above.

“Solaris… I am well enough for us to move out. How are you guys doing?”

It was Arceus. And Solaris raised his head up. “We’re good, Arceus. We’ve got some information and some supplies. We’re in a hospital in town.”

“Very good. Prepare the others. I’ll teleport you all out of there in a few minutes.”

Solaris looked down, and nodded. “Okay. I’ll have everyone ready.”

Ross looked up at the Charizard, a shocked expression on her face. “Arceus… You guys are working with God?”

“Shocking, I know, but yes. Arceus is our transport out of here.” Solaris stood up, and shrugged. “Arceus has come to us before for help. They trust us.”

The others were told of the plan to move out, and promptly got their things packed and ready. During this, Solaris went over to Byrne and Yauch, and knelt down to their level. “Well… This is goodbye.”

“Awww, you’re leaving?” The Pichu asked. 

“Unfortunately we have to. Our team is needed elsewhere, and we have to get going.” He shifted his pack, and pulled out his old cloak, still stained red with Lendys’ blood. He stared at it for a good moment, before clipping it around Byrne’s shoulder, including the badge. “Byrne, I want you to have this. It’ll keep you warm, and it’ll keep you safe. You and your little brother? You’re your own team now. And this is your proof.” He pointed to the badge.

Byrne looked at the badge. “Wait, but… Won’t you need this badge where you're going?”

“I have another. Don’t worry.” Solaris lightly tapped his pouch. Inside of the pouch was Zane’s old badge, one he kept as a memory. The one on his cloak was his personal one. “Now I want you both to promise me something. Byrne… You are to protect your brother no matter what happens.”

The Pikachu nodded, then Solaris turned to face Yauch. “Yauch, you need to stay out of trouble, and listen to your older brother. This was a close call that could have ended badly.”

“Okay!” Yauch said, nodding.

“Good.” The Charizard then moved to hug the both of them. “As long as you have each other, you’ll be safe.”

Byrne would bury his head into Solaris' neck, sounding like he was about to burst into happy tears. “Thank you, Mr. Solaris.”

“You’re welcome, kiddo. You’re going to be safe, I promise.” Solaris sounded unsure, and about to be on the verge of tears himself. He broke the hug, giving a soft smile and a reassuring nod to the both of them as he walked away. He grouped back with everyone else, noticing that Ross gave them a pot and a grill for cooking the food they were given. The Charizard gave a courteous bow to the Sylveon. “Thank you, Dr. Ross. We’ll put it to good use.” A bright light began to shine around the group as they all waved goodbye before disappearing.

Ross at where the team was once standing, and bowed her head quietly. “I pray that you all can defeat LaPlante.”

As the bright light dissipated, everyone appeared to be on a large asteroid of some kind, and already floating in space. “I hope you settled everything before we left?” Zappa asked.

“Yeah, everything is good.” Solaris said with a sad look in his eye, looking down at the planet below. He knew that their actions may not have meant anything in the long run. "How long were we down there?"

“They will be fine. I promise.” Zappa looked down at the asteroid. “I’ve taken the liberty of gathering a large asteroid for you all to live on. It’s big enough to train on, and will remain warm for you all on the journey home. It isn’t the most comfortable, but it’s better than nothing. We've spent about four days on the planet, due to its rotation around the sun."

“We’ll make it work, Zappa.” Morello said, tussling the top of Louis’ head. “Let’s get going. Don’t want to waste anymore time.”

“Very well.” Zappa brought the meteor close, and began to gain speed back towards Gaea, before zipping away at light speed.

Zappa brought me up to speed. Telling me about the endless fight with LaPlante, the restarting of the world. Even telling me that Zane was supposed to be here with us. It pained me to hear, but there was no turning back time. Zappa even explained the plan to give me his power to defeat LaPlante if need be. I'll be honest... I don't like the idea. I'm not in the best shape to take on Godhood. But I guess that's what the long journey is for.

Zappa also mentioned what was so important about Zane's nebula - the essence of Necrozma. That nebula still houses the energy of Necrozma in its stars. In the past, she killed Zane during the final confrontation, giving her the energy she needed. But now that Zane is gone... She has all she needs. No waiting. No delays. Infinity is being formed - a planet made of limitless energy, made from the souls of this universe and all worlds open to ours and any others it scoops up. Any life she does form on the planet, Infinity will kill to fuel it. It only takes, never gives.

We can't let that happen. She's using my friend... My mate... As a tool. She's using my teammates... My family... My community... She can't get away with it. I won't let her. We won't let her.

There was a rule for myself I've had - to never kill. To never cause suffering. But as the years go by... The closer we get to home...

The more I want to watch LaPlante suffer...

Does sparrow wish her party members could relate with her more?

Sorry it took me months to answer this 😅

Toward the beginning of the campaign, she was sometimes frustrated that her plans were complicated by the party not knowing the truth about her/not having the same priorities or dedication. If everyone had the same drive for vengeance against the Gildharts as she did, the plot against them could move quicker and more efficiently.

That being said, she’s glad the party can’t relate to her more. She wouldn’t want any of them to experience the loss and trauma she has. And especially now that she’s realized the consequences of pursuing vengeance and she’s exploring her relationship with Lendys and justice more, she doesn’t want any of them to fall into the trap of chasing revenge. That’s why she was so worried about Varina & her sister & the angels, and why she was so angry with Varina for giving little Kat the vengeance blade.

Sparrow’s quest for vengeance blinded her and led her to do horrible things that she wishes more than anything she could undo, and she hopes none of the people she cares about ever relate to that.

They go by Nel he/they/it are 7'6" They stay in Lendy's library most of the time but can be found in dark corners if looked at long enough. None of the Welcome Home crew remember them because it was so early on in the show and never questioned where they went.
