I got something!!! I have been so busy with classes and conferences lately (i, apparently, have to write an entire novel for my novel writing class….which is outrageous.) so I may not be able to do this as often but!!! Have a vary my days reboot snippet!!

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

Carlos looks up at him curiously, his forkful of pad thai hanging halfway to his mouth. “About the spring rolls?”

TK makes a face, the spring roll he’d just taken a bite of becoming a projectile as he tosses it at Carlos, who laughs. “No. I mean about Iris.”

The smile fades a little and Carlos turns his eyes to the bowl in his hands. “I don’t know,” he shrugs. “Timing, I guess.”

“We’ve been dating for three years,” TK says incredulously. “You didn’t have a chance in all that time?”

“Yeah, but think about all that happened.” He’s trying not to get defensive but he also really doesn’t want to talk about this. “When was I going to tell you? After you got kidnapped? Or when our house burned down? Or when we got back together? Or-“

“Okay,” TK interrupts, eyes closed. There’s a few moments of silence between them. TK pushes the rice around on his plate. “I just never knew I was the other woman.”

There’s a teasing lilt to his voice and Carlos throws the half eaten spring roll back at him, as a fit of giggles erupts from him.

Okay right so the Soap story right. My first ever DnD session, DM makes us fight a goblin trio to teach us about combat. One of them is named Soap, and he was thrown at my dwarf barbarian character by one of the other goblins for a single hit point at the start of the fight. She did not take that well. So every time it was my turn I would target Soap, and miss (fail the accuracy check by rolling low). The first 4 turns all missed. And then on the 5th turn my dwarf hit him for 2 damage. Then missed again. And again. Until the DM actually just started skipping Soap's turns by saying he was "laughing so hard at her failure he's immobilized". And STILL. STILL I KEPT FAILING THE ACCURACY CHECK. FOR A LEVEL 1 GOBLIN. Until my DM was basically just like... Okay now roll for attack and skip the accuracy check (just this once). And ever since then my DM just mentioning the word soap is met with angry looks. And they KNOW it to the point where they will have (jokingly) try to get me OOC in our current campaign just by referencing soap.

10/10 best first DnD session tho, very realistic

LMAOOOOOO this is an absolutely fantastic story hahahhaahha. I really hope the DM makes Soap return at the end as the final Big Bad in a crazy plot twist gdskkshdkskshshhs.

Funny enough my dnd group also had a goblin incident in their first ever session, but it was kind of the opposite because they kidnapped him and kept him has a reluctant sidekick for the rest of the campaign LMAO. So there really is something about lvl 1 goblin combat hahahaha

look - pole dancing is different for everyone. i've seen people perform the most amazing routines to classical music, 80s rock, metal, rap, bubblegum pop, edm you name it!!!

if i'm training tricks, i lean into grime/rap for some reason. i guess it makes me feel confident to do scary stuff lol (stormzy, skepta, vince staples, pusha t, russ, logic, flo milli have been on recent repeat).

my dance style is more based on hip hop, but i've been known to venture outside of that. some recent original choreography i've created has used:

eyes on fire (remix) - hahlweg, wayfie (vampire vibes @strandnreyes) (this is exotic flow style)

playboy - tyga ft. vince staples (this is hardstyle)

rascal (superstar) - tinashe (classic/hip hop)

brilho e nicotina - materia prima (this was kind of showgirl/burlesque inspired)

renegade (oliver remix) - kavinsky, cautious clay, oliver (hardstyle)

i also once did an original routine to sex & stardust by zz ward for lone star vibes, even though I knew it would never be the hottest thing set to that song.

Buck might be losing his mind.

He’s been in Los Angeles for three full days and he has not been able to find any activity as exciting as his first night in town. He has done everything he could think of. The first full day, he went to as many museums as he could get into (three art museums and the Hollywood Museum). On the second day, he went hiking and it was beautiful. It probably would have been more relaxing if he hadn’t gotten annoyed at his podcast in the first half hour. And if he hadn’t skipped every song he had tried to put on after that. The third day, today, he had decided that a trip to the beach might solve whatever slump he’d found himself in. He sat on a towel in the sand for an hour with a fascinating book in his hands, but he could not focus on the words in front of him.

All he could think about was the way that Eddie had leaned into his shoulder when they were sitting together at the kitchen island.

All he could think about was the way that Eddie laughed about a stupid comment Buck had made. In any other situation, he would be looking back at it and cringing. But Eddie had laughed.

All he could think about was the neatly folded piece of paper tucked securely into the folds of his book. The one with TK’s messy handwriting scratched across it, ten little numbers next to Eddie’s name.

bored as hell here's some body headcanons for cookies i like

princess

chubby as hell - inherited her body type from her gran, so she gains and loses body fat + muscle quickly. same height as most 12 year olds but insists she's taller than knight (she's not). amab. wide nose, round hollyberry family eyes. cupid's bow lips. uses a cane when her paralyzed leg acts up :P

raspberry

was 'tall for her age' until about 16, whereapon she stopped growing and is now shortest in her family. cup size probably about c, she has a slender build and is muscular but not Built. did ballet into her 20s and walks like it. perfect posture. high cheekbones nd her hair is naturally pin straight, she has it curled for special events. lost her left pinky in a rapier accident (that teacher was fired)

orange

broad shoulders! probably about a 3:2 ratio of bust to hips. soft features, very straight nose. defined arm muscles. styles her baby hairs into waves, has dark freckles in summer. double eyelids. she has dimples and thick eyebrows; doesn't often wear makeup except for lipgloss.

lime

goes into the plus-sized category; pear shaped, or whatever you wanna call it. most of it is muscle, though. she has rough feet, especially, and moisturises her hands to death. she takes pride in her clear skin. she has acrylics when volleyball's not in season. her nose is flat but upturned and her eyes are monolidded

grapefruit

chubby but more athletic than anything. very flexible, but bad posture when she's comfortable. resting bitch face - in the way she always looks like she's making jokes about you, not that she's going to beat you up. button nose and strong calves for skating. sometimes has random plaits and ribbons sewn in from strawberry, but never ties her hair up because it gets in the way of her helmet.

lemon

slim build. bunch of scars and burn marks. also has monolids, and low cheekbones, and dimples. kind of has a mullet but his hair has moreso grown out weird since being shaved in random places so many times. skinny fingers. rectangle shaped boy. not much muscle.

cotton

also chubby! has perpetually warm hands with short stubby nails. big round weepy eyes and long eyelashes. putting her at a b-cup, and she has wide hips. strong legs, too

white lily

i hc her as intersex - she has broad shoulders and a sharp jaw and is scary tall but apart from that there's nothing imposing about her. nothing about her body sort of makes itself - she's skinny and lanky like a baby deer with eyes to match. stacked on top of herself like a house of cards. green-blue veins. bottlecap boobs and long fingers.

caramel arrow

taller than average. prominent bone structure, especially clavicle. narrow eyes; grecian nose. the thing in the inner corner of her eyes (which google tells me is called the 'lacrimal caruncle') is pronounced. sharp jawline, too. gains muscle easily. she has a 1:1 bust to hips ratio. wide mouth, slim lips. and eyebags.

espresso

skinny, permanent scowl. dark eyelashes and double eyelids, thick eyebrows, creased face. sharp and hooked nose. fucked with hrt quote too much unquote in his teens and his hormones are oh so messed up. a-cup, high cheekbones. small build but not short short. loses weight easier than gaining it.
