HC about his fur : Macaque was born with white fur, but as he grew older his fur got darker and darker. As a kid (0-12) he had white fur, as a teen (13-19) he had light grey fur, as a young adult he had dark grey fur, and after that he has black fur. When the Brotherhood was discussing the Jade Emperor fight (or the party thingy from that one episode), his fur was still transitioning from teen to young adult, hence why he still has some light grey fur!
