‘Good Times’ Sets Ranada Shepard As Showrunner; JB Smoove, Yvette Nicole Brown & Jay Pharoah To Star In Netflix’s Animated Reboot
Conclusion? OBNOXIOUS, ARROGANT, IGNORANT
Black people are increasingly over the Blackface, Anti bullshit, coming out of companies like Netflix and HULU and they are also increasingly OVER the Black actors and actresses, stepping up to do minstrel roles.
BE WARNED... HOLLYWOOD IS NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS STARTED A WAR AGAINST ACTORS. YOU WANT TO SELL OUT? GO AHEAD. BUT DON'T ACT SHOCKED WHEM THE PUBLIC NO LONGER KISSES YOUR ASS FOR IT.

Proof positive that corporations like Microsoft, under the guise of DEI, filled their ranks with activist employees from Leftist, Misandrist and Queer groups. That most of these spoiled shit stirrers are young white women (with a couple of black girls thrown in for some peppery spice) should tell men exactly what they're about: Authoritarianism. They'll do anything to hurt people in general, and the economy, in particular. Meantime, like clockwork, the GOP are blaming the failures of DEI off of the very people who never actually had control of it. Progressives always did, including black boule style race traitors. They are deliberately causing divisions with their Diversity Cosplay.

Do you have any idea how frustrating it is to remember being called "cringe lib wine moms" for trying to tell everyone that if trump won roe v wade was dead, that it was worth voting for Hillary to protect the supreme court, that a trump presidency would be more poisonous to America than these smug bernie leftists could possibly imagine, just to have every dipshit thing conservatives say and do ascribed to "liberals"???
We were soooo embarrassing for being wiling to say that a Vote for anyone but Hillary was a vote for trump and that a trump presidency would be a catastrophe. We were too loud, too shrill, tooo embarrassingly liberal.
And now to have all the shit that we accurately predicted conservatives would do ascribed to us. But the other option is to blame conservatives for their shit, and god knows us well meaning women are a much easier target.
you could have just listened to us in the first place. You could have simply not dismissed us as hysterical. But since you didn't now you have to twist the word liberal to mean conservative so it can all be our fault. What did women ever know about abortion or misogyny or meeting the needs of the poor or taking care of the sick or the tenuousness of human rights anyway? Planning for the future and seeing the good beyond your own immediate ego is some liberal bullshit.

i still mask bc i knew how awful a covid infection can be on the body, i read about long covid and it scared me, i never had terrible effects from covid aside from sinus problems but that was enough for me tbh. I am the only one in my house who masks, i try to tell my family to please mask and well my brother is a full on eugenicist who doesnt care about literally anything, my dad says it makes his beard itches, and my mom always says she will start but doesnt but at least she goes out of her way to buy me masks. She gets me good ones too like she got me n95 idek where she got it, in my city stores are slowly stopping the selling of masks. After the pandemic """"ended""" everyone at my highschool dropped the mask, even my friends who said it was so important stopped. Now i'm actually immunocomprimised as of verryy recently because of stuff with my liver and the doctors had no idea wtf but i was on this medication that helped alot but made me more at risk for infections and i was sooo so anxious, of not just getting covid but any viral sickness. I'm the only one in my house who masks and washes my hands religiously and i feel like the people around me simply dont care besides my mom ofc. But again she doesnt even mask herself despite saying she will, i think if i convince her enough she will start maybe. Its weird bc she works with actual disabled people and she tells me she thinks its awful how noone at her job masks even though they are directly working w disabled people who live independently, working in their own homes. Last time i got covid was in june and it lasted like 3 days but i was so worried and also angry because i am the only one who masks and washes my hands 100 times a day and i still got covid somehow, probably from my disgusting brother who is always sick. Whenever i take public transportation i always see a few people masking and it makes me happy but the vast majority of people dont mask and people bring their children on the bus without even putting a mask on them! They are children!! Aren't they more at risk of getting a beating from a sickness? I traveled earlier this year to cdmx to visit family and i was really anxious and made sure i had masks and people were boarding the plane coughing and sniffling while not even bothering to wear a mask. My very priviledged family in cdmx dont mask unless they are in downtown where the pollution is bad, and in that city i saw soo many more people masking in public and people were way more aware of the fact that we are in a pandemic compared the the city i live in Canada. I already felt guilty enough for travelling but i kinda had no choice and i still wanted to see my family but ugh. I'm really glad this blog exists because i know i'm not alone, i do see more and more people masking but its alienating. Its alrdy alienating enough being someone with very leftist politics among a fascist society and among people who are blinded by their own privilege everyday. Sorry for thr long ask, i hope ppl w similar experience see this and can relate.

Okay, back in May @isolatedphenomenon asked me if I had an les mis fic recs and I went "oh boy do I !" and then promptly fucked off and disappeared from tumblr for like 6 months...
Anyway on the off chance people are interested, here is my vastly too long list of my favourite les mis fanfic (that I'm almost 100% sure I'll have accidentally missed some of my favourites off of...)
The vast majority of these are main pairing Enjolras/Grantaire, so I've put those first, divided into multi-chaptered and then one-shots. Below that will be other pairings!
Multi-chaptered
• Witch Boy Series : magic AU, starting with Grantaire solving Enjolras' curse - this is just Incredible world building which gets better as it goes on - my favourite is the Babet interlude
• World Ain't Ready : you know how fandoms tend to have a fic that is just associated with it ? in my experience, for les mis this is it - and well deserved ! High school, fake dating AU with some of the most engaging writing
• BE : Enjolras is dragged back into theatre production, helping Eponine put on a production of Hamlet - really love the characterisation in this, and this is really one of those modern AUs that actually feels like real life - really good writing
• After the End : the definitive apocalypse AU in my eyes - les amis are an underground resistance to the dystopian government - really wonderful characterisation of Grantaire and the amis
• You never have to wonder; you never have to ask. : I tend to find fic by scrolling through bookmarks of a pairing, which means I often see repeats; this is a fic that if I see I just re-read cause I know I'll enjoy it - the amis sparked a failed rebellion, and now 18 months later Grantaire ends up staying at Enjolras' after returning to Paris for Marius and Cosette's wedding
• Your Heart on Your Skin : Soulmate AU with flower tattoos marking important emotions and events - wonderful concept and world building
• Impatient to Be Free : Daughters of Bilitis AU - if that doesn't make you excited I don't know what else to say to convince you (aside from saying the author is a simply wonderful writer)
• You Dance Dreams : Okay. Not to be over dramatic, but this fic did genuinely qualitatively change my life, in that it was the first thing that got me looking up contemporary ballet and now that's like one of my favourite things and big hobby So. Also its really great writing; music/creative arts school les amis with Grantaire choreohraphing the ballet for Combeferre's opera, with a heavy emphasis on Grantaire realising he really never actually got over Enjolras
• philia : this one is an absolute classic to me, but not given nearly enough recognition - one of the more realistic college AUs ever written, and the writing of Grantaire is so good because it hits the perfect balance of sympathy and annoyance about his behaviour (that's a genuine compliment)
• Coffee Hooligans : fucking tragedy this never got properly finished, Enjolras leads the amis as social justice vigilantes and tries to hide the criminal bits of his life from R
• Fighting the Hurricane : Pacific Rim AU that's less an AU and more just placing the les mis characters in the Pacific Rim universe. Really good and riveting read, also super interesting depiction of Grantaire
• Weaving Olden Dances : Fairy AU - Grantaire "claims" Enjolras to prevent his execution - really good writing, love Grantaires characterisation
• Paris Burning : canon era (sort of) where cities have a physical being - Grantaire is Paris and becomes entangled in Enjolras' revolution - oh the world building is truly *chefs kiss*
• Euphoria is You For Me : Enjolras and Grantaire keep meet cuting in a wonderfully written Brooklyn - feels like a love letter to Brooklyn at times, and I really like the characterisation of Grantaire
• so please just fall in love with me this christmas : Enjolras works for the environmental company Grantaire volunteers at, and keeps getting secret gifts at Christmas - I sound a little like a broken record but the Grantaire characterisation is very good
• You Are the Moon : Wild West esque Space AU - Grantaire has to call on the amis to help rescue Valjean and Cosette, despite Grantaire leaving the amis 6 months before. On re-reading the Enjolras characterisation feels a little rushed, but overall fantastic story telling and the Grantaire arc is a Delight
• Pandemos : Enjolras is aphrodite, and seeks peace from all his suitors in R/Hephestus' cave
• Pining for You : Hallmark christmas romance - Grantaire returns home to work on his father's tree farm, and Enjolras is the lawyer helping prevent the farm being sold - cute as shit imo
• Once We're Kings : Fantasy AU - a country hosts a ball to marry Prince Enjolras and the rival country sends Grantaire as a fuck you - one of the best ways of doing Enjolras as a prince in a fantasy and just really nicely written
• Never Bitter and All Delicious : Fairy Godmother AU - yes really, yes its genuinely a very good read
• On One Condition : Fantasy AU - Enjolras is a bored knight who finally goes to check out the local dragon, which turns out to be Grantaire - I really like how they capture Enjolras' stubborn nature and it's such a well written soft growth of love between them
• That's How Easy Love Can Be : Les Amis work at a primary school; and its secret santa time! very fun portrayal of Enjolras
• The Lark and Her Lieutenants : re write of canon where Cosette is the leader of the revolution - just *chefs kiss*
• If You Tickle Us, Do We Not Laugh : Grantaire is Enjolras' secret android - really good at writing a relationship that's incredibly loving but just keeps being antagonistic and coming off wrong
One Shots
• True Colours : AU where you leave colours on the people important to you - Enjolras and Grantaire falling for each other is so soft and gently written its lovely, this is genuinely one of my favourites
• Keep It Kind, Keep It Good, Keep It Right : this one is so good to me, because it builds off my pet hatred of everyone assuming Enjolras doesn't care about (or at least actively show he cares about) his friends
• blooming : very soft post-dystopian utopia that has just a really wonderful sense of hope and light to me
• and the wall leaned away (or: The Pros and Cons of Tilling) : perfectly realised characterizations of the amis, Grantaire needs a date to her final year art exhibition - deals with anxiety over protest in a way that actually hits for me
• not just one of the crowd : R helps run a leftist bakery and bike repair shop - very cute characterisation, and I think more les mis fanfic should link to anarchist essays
• Lovesickness : Enjolras is an idiot and thinks he's sick rather than having a crush - the writing of Joly and Combeferre in this is some of my favourite depictions of these two
• If there's a rocket, tie me to it : absolutely heartbreaking sci-fi AU about the amis as doomed mecha pilots
• Where I Fall is Where I Land : Enjolras is a Roman commander as Rome's power is leaving England, and then meets the pict Grantaire (+ fun soulmark stuff !)
• You Started Foreign to Me : Enjolras moves to america and R is the overnight grocery clerk who helps her learn Spanish - cute fluffy lesbians with a wonderfully written driven Enjolras
• Love Is Touching Souls : very cute soulmate AU - and one I really love for really truly considering the implications of soul marks and creating historical lore around it
• Ten Years : R is a musician, and it non-linearly charts his relationship to Enj from high school to 10 years later
• put up with me then I'll make you see : Grantaire lives above Enjolras, and its christmas - I find it to have a very fun interpretation of pining Enjolras
• A Cat Called Trash Can : this was one of the first les mis fics I ever read (yes I know it says it was published in 2020, but I think it has to be a re-upload or something?) and it does still have a special place in my heart - Grantaire rescues a cat, but Enjolras is the only one with an apartment free to look after it
• Still I'm Begging to Be Free : inception AU where les amis have to rescue a sleeping R from his own brain
•I'm in it for You : cw: illness, cancer - R has cancer and is being a martyr about telling his friends so Enjolras drives him back from chemo
• walls come tumbling down : sky high au - a very good high school AU with the perfect level of campy superhero powers
• This brave new world's not like yesterday : Enjolras needs a job, so ends up working in a bowling alley with Grantaire and bonding
Enjolras/Grantaire/Combeferre
• In Defiance of All Geometry : les amis are a student co-op house, Enjolras and Combeferre are pining friends and Grantaire is the newbie
• Still the Same : this is very good writing and very compelling - if you can get over the (imo) plot hole of Enjolras working for the FBI. R was an art thief Enj put away and is briefly helping the FBI out, and Combeferre is Enjolras' husband
• To Kingdom Come : cw: war and PTSD from that, Enjolras and Combeferre are part of a group of refugees that have crossed into a more fantasy land, and Grantaire is a lone traveller from that land that attempts to help - that was a shit summary of this very emotional, wonderfully written fic about war and love in all forms
• Gonna need (a spark to ignite) : I always love a twist on a classic trope, and this is a very fun take on the soulmate AU - Enjolras loses feeling in his soul mark as a child, falls in love with Grantaire and then his soulmate, Combeferre, turns up
Eponine/Cosette
• Pretty Girls Don't Know the Things That I Know : simply stunning writing - perfect example of soft writing about a harsh world
• she knows her way around : Eponine and Cosette bond, ostensibly so Eponine can find out about her for Marius, and their interactions are so playful and realistic, its wonderful
• always find me floating on oceans : Cosette stows away on Eponine's pirate ship - I do always have a soft spot for eposette fics (not just cause I ship it) because they truly characterise Cosette in a really considered and interesting way
• There's No Making Love : I'm putting this under eposette even though there is some significant enjolras/grantaire content, because the Cosette characterisation is so fun and cute
• round and round again : this fic really beautifully translates Cosette's bad childhood and then isolated teenage years, and the impact that would have on her as an adult into a modern AU
• Underwater Thunderheards : this is based off the book The Scorpio Races, and is just a really nice short fic about longing
• How To Change The World Without Taking Power : Marius has a crush on Cosette and she's tried being polite and subtle in turning him down, so just ends up fake dating Eponine instead
• blood red fruit and poison's kiss : Snow White AU - Cosette as Snow White
• The Winters Cannot Fade Her : Snow White Au 2.0 - Eponine as Snow White - this was written as a pair to the one above which is just so cute to me
• marriage à la mode : Cosette and Eponine run a bridal shop together and it's very cute !
• Temporary Hold : I personally find this a really fun and very unique take on Cosette - with exams coming up she decides she needs to get laid on the reg and so hits up Eponine to act as if they're already long term girlfriends
Combeferre/Courfeyrac
• better than you had it : fake dating but kick it up an emotional notch - Courf and Ferre pretend to still be together after breaking up for a family event
• take flight, come near : nice and cute low fantasy, where Combeferre runs a dragon sanctuary and Courf finds an injured dragon
Rare Pairs
• The Future's Owned by You and Me : cute Enjolras/Feuilly with actual radical politics and real life organising difficulties and wins
• First Dates and Other Dangers : Combeferre and Grantaire agree to go on a blind date and it's awkward until it isn't - just cute !
• after midnight : Combeferre has insomnia and meets Grantaire in various all night fast food chains
• as you are : Bahorel and Jehan getting ready together
• Almost Romantic : Jehan works at a museum, and takes Combeferre on a little tour
• Understudy : Jehan/Combeferre, with Combeferre's insecurities regarding being seen as second best to Enjolras
• Here There Be Dragons : Courf/Enj/Ferre - Courf and Enj are superheroes and Ferre is the doctor that patches them up
• To Let it Occur (Laisser Faire la Nature) : Feuilly has a stupidly long stopover in Paris and meets Enjolras
• rule of three : Courf/Enj/Ferre as spies and loving boyfriends
• Good Rhetoric : snapshots of cute cuddly courf/enj/ferre
• subluxate, dislocate, replace : found family and chronic illness with Joly/Bossuet/Musichetta
• Strike stone, strike home (like lightning) : so this fic took one minor piece of lore about Tolkien's dwarves and made a beautiful j/b/m fic from it
• Almost Inevitable : Bahorel/Feuilly friends-with-benefits
• god only knows (what I'd be without you) : Bahorel/Feuilly with a closeted Feuilly and a beautiful Feuilly and Eponine friendship

I’m so sick of ppl telling me that I have to night wean my son (or have to wean him at all !) like yea he’s at the age where he doesn’t need night feeds for nutrition anymore but he wants them for comfort and if I, as in me yanno the person actually feeding him, don’t mind doing that then why do you fucking care ?! Even that framing - that I “don’t mind” - is inaccurate. I enjoy it ! When I respond to what he wants it strengthens the parent/child bond for both of us, a breastfeeding relationship is something really special to me and many breastfeeding parents mourn the loss of that when it stops so I simply cannot understand this attitude that I need to stop it as if it’s for my own sake when I. Don’t. Want. To. He’s not even 1 and ppl think I’ve been doing it for too long & that he’s reaching the age where it’s ~weird to breastfeed him. Fucking why ???? That’s what breasts are literally for, dummies/pacifiers are designed to mimic breasts ffs. I’m being told this shit even by ppl who r progressive; purported leftists. It’s bullshit. It’s my fucking kid. I love him. I’m gna respond to his needs, and comfort is one of them, it’s that fkin simple

As you probably have heard in the news, earlier in August a Pennsylvania grand jury handed down a 1,356-page account of sexual abuse which involved around 1,000 kids and 300 priests during a period of approximately 70 years. It is another pedophilia scandal within the Catholic Church that adds up to their collection of countless other ones reported in recent years.
The commie pope—while on his two-day visit to Ireland—begged for forgiveness again, just the way he did in Chile back in January of this year.
You can notice how quick and scathing the mainstream media is to denounce these recurring events, after all we know who owns the MSM and the (real) Church has a long, well-known history of “anti-semitism” and resistance against the tentacles of globalism. I wish the media had the same commitment to inform the existence of other pedophile rings full of high-ranking people as well.
Is the problem of the church’s innumerous sexual abuse allegations really pedophilia? To me there is a deeper explanation for it, and that explanation is: homosexualism. 81% of the alleged victims are male and three-fourths of them are post-pubescent. As you guys are certainly aware of, the Church has a very big issue with homosexualism among its clergymen.
I have a theory for the high presence of gay men inside priesthood: until not long ago being gay was definitely not ok, homosexuals were not accepted as they are now, so they became priests.
The developed Western world of today encourages people to become gay, it applauds individuals for their gayness, but it wasn’t always like that. Now, try to imagine a closeted homosexual man living in the 50s, for example. What a better place to go than the Catholic seminary? People wouldn’t look you down, you wouldn’t have to get married, the place was filled with other young men (potential sexual partners) and that’s how the Church got corrupted by perverts.
Pedophilia x Homosexualism
One normie could argue “how homosexualism relates to pedophilia?” Any red-pilled person who has ever wondered what causes someone to become gay will notice that there is an undeniable link between pedophilia and homosexualism.
Let’s remember the occasion of Milo Yiannopolous’ resignation from Breitbart over comments which seemed to endorse sex between “younger men” and older men. Something that is—as he pointed out—extremely common among gay men. A 2009 report revealed that 74 percent of bisexuals had been sexually abused as children, I am pretty sure homosexuals follow the same numbers.
I won’t say homosexual behavior is exclusively caused by pedophilia because human (or animal) sexuality is a very complex topic which can certainly involve many variables. I just don’t buy that “born this way” hype, until this day not a single reliable proof of the existence of a gay gene or anything like it was discovered.
The Vatican once bought a £21 million apartment block above ‘Europe’s largest gay sauna’.
Pope Francis, a champion of the left-leaning agenda inside the Church, has been accused of covering up former Cardinal McCarrick’s abuse allegations (one of the many cases in Pennsylvania). The accusations were made by Carlo Vigano, a former Vatican ambassador to the US, and if it proves to be true–I am positive it is—that should result in pope Francis’ resignation. As a traditionalist Catholic myself I would be delighted with such an event.
Francis has already been complacent with other pedos before. One good example is the 2015 ‘Synod on the Family’ when the pope invited Godfried Danneels, a Belgium Cardinal convicted of covering up pedophiles in the 90s, to attend the meeting. Danneels is a hard-left priest that tries to push the Church ” liberal reformation” and admitted that he was part of a plot against (right-leaning) Pope Benedict and in favor of the election of leftie Francis.
To affirm that the Church’s gay/pedos are exclusively part of the left-wing priesthood would be too Manichean. I am sure there are tons of sick people who lean right also. But it can’t be denied that the liberals make up the vast majority of these issues involving sexual misconduct.
“Religious progressives”
For those who don’t know, the Catholic Church, just as any other political institution, is divided in factions that tend to be more liberal or orthodox. The liberation theology, for instance, is a movement created inside the Catholic Church (and some Protestant denominations) which aims to mix Christianity and Marxism.
Even if you are an agnostic don’t underestimate the influence they played in various regions such as Europe, Latin America and even New England. Brazilian Workers’ Party attributed their success to this movement and Unions.
Be wary of any religious leader that tries to push a liberalization of dogmas and traditions. Because all religions are intrinsically conservative according to their respective contexts, they establish doctrines that dictate sets of rules that must be followed properly in order to attain their objectives (whether is Salvation in Christianity or Nirvana in Buddhism). There are no (real) religions without their traditions.
Whenever you see liberal religious men doubt their characters. There is a good chance they don’t even bother with religion or spirituality, perhaps they are closeted atheist. What they do care about is the religious platform, which can offer various benefits such as large audiences, political influence, money and even sex.
Estimates of the number of gays in the priesthood are all over the lot, from 20 percent to 60 percent, although a Los Angeles Times poll in 2002 found only 15 percent of priests saying they were homosexual or “somewhere in between but more on the homosexual side.”
Every time pedo priests’ cases pop up in the MSM, secular people are very quick to point fingers and show their moral superiority, but they “forget” the existence of secular institutions that are way more sexually perverted than the “gayish” modern Church, such as Hollywood, the political and corporate world.
Real Church x Sissy Church
It is also important to notice that the Church was emasculated, an emasculation that took place during the process of secularization and establishment of liberal democracies across the Western world (e.g. French Revolution).
The Church had to be softened, becoming an institution that barely resembles the once powerful and great Church of the Crusades or the Inquisitions. This same phenom of emasculation can also happen in other secular institutions too, the Military, mainstream Music, Politics, Sports and even Boys Scouts. And it will only get worse as liberal-democratic globalism advances, so secular people: watch out!
St. Basil the Great, a 4th century bishop and Doctor of the Church, defended that gay/pedo priests should be publicly flogged. That was the (real) Church, not this sissy catholicism created after the Second Vatican Council (a modernist reform imposed in the Church from 1962 to 1965). A lot of things got bad in the 60s.
The (real) Church has a very important and vigorous story in the construction of the West. Always being a target to the globalists and that breed who rules the world, a clear obstacle to their goals.
Examples are many: Gabriel García Moreno, Catholic Equatorian president, who made a terrific job in a Confessional Equator and was killed by the Freemasons; Saint José Sanchez del Rio, who was killed by Mexican secular, freemason and leftist government with the support of the US, for refusing to abbandon his faith.
Inconvenient truths are ignored
The media only goes after what is convenient to their narrative, don’t expect them to expose Hollywood pedos nor the obvious link between pedo priests and homosexualism. The left has already pushed the normalization of pedophilia many times and I didn’t see the indignation of the MSM.
Late Vatican’s Chief Exorcist Gabriele Amorth once said, “The Devil resides in the Vatican and you can see the consequences”.
“The floor of hell is paved with the skulls of bishops”. – St. Athanasius
Read More: The Vatican Has Disgraced True Catholic Values
I have noticed that many people have been falsely conflating what comes out of the Vatican as Catholic. Thus it is my duty to present to the esteemed readers of this fine site the true teachings of the Church which stand, ever more so today, in stark opposition to the rot of cultural Marxism and the effeminacy of the Papal pretenders in Rome.
Vicar of Christ?
Church authorities are not legitimate
It is a dogma of the Catholic faith that the Church cannot substantially change. This means that the church cannot contradict nor change her teaching from what has always been universally taught or has been solemnly defined. Any one who claims to be Catholic and knowingly professes a faith which contradicts a teaching of the Church is considered to be a heretic and is considered to have a removed himself from the Church.
As St. Thomas states: “[one] who disbelieves [even] one article of faith does not have faith, either formed or unformed.” This is known as the unity of faith which means that all Catholics profess the same faith. Likewise it means that heretics cannot hold a clerical office in the Church. Thus if a heretic were to be elected even to the Papacy they could not be considered a legitimate Pontiff because a heretic has separated himself from the Church (source).
Would a real Pope bow to a religion declared false by the Church?
Simply put, you have to be Catholic to be Pope, and the absurdity of a heretic claiming the See of Peter is where we find ourselves today. For just as the institutions in the West have been infiltrated and seized by the enemy, likewise have the institutions of the Church been usurped by apostate forces. The hierarchy currently residing in the Vatican are not legitimate authorities and do not represent the perennial teaching of the Church. Therefore I have listed for your benefit the actual Church’s positions on some current areas of contention.
The only time Francis has ever smiled at a Crucifix
On Communism
The Catholic Church is vehemently opposed to communism. Without Pius XII valiant efforts, communism would have prevailed over postwar France and Italy. The Pope went so far as to issue the Decree against Communism in 1949 which excommunicated any Christian who professed communist doctrine.
Catholicism is the enemy of Marxism as it teaches that there can be no separation of Church and state, and an atheist government is immoral. Catholicism believes private property is a natural right going so far to say that depriving workers of their wages is a sin which cries to heaven for vengeance (compare that to our socialist tax code!).
On Migration and Culture
The current Muslim invasion of Europe would be met with the utmost resistance. It has always been the Church which has sought to safeguard Catholic Culture and in ages past has gone so far as to issue a call to arms against non-Catholics who have sought to destroy it.
Pope Urban II issued the Crusades and Pope Leo the great even went so far as to personally travel into the heart of the Hun army—to Attila himself—to deliver Rome from the sack that was to come. In 1571, St. Pope Pius V formed the Holy League that would go on to defeat the great Muslim Turkish Armada that was plaguing the Mediterranean.
“Then I pointed like so and told them where to take their cultural enrichment”
The tradition of the Church has been to unite the West against external non-christian threats in order to preserve Western Christian culture.
“The natural law enjoins us to love devotedly and to defend the country in which we were born, and in which we were brought up, so that every good citizen hesitates not to face death for his native land…. We are bound, then, to love dearly the country whence we have received the means of engagement this mortal life affords.” – Sapientia Christiana Encyclical Pope Leo XIII
On Abortion and Contraception
So what is the real teaching of the Church in regards to abortion and contraception? The teaching is any member who has an abortion or supports abortion is automatically excommunicated from the Church. That’s right: every single Democrat who claims to be Catholic is actually excommunicated, including Nancy Pelosi who likes to sanctimoniously drone how she is a good Catholic grandmother.
Contraception is also considered a mortal sin because it is an unnatural stoppage of life.
“Hence, after the sin of homicide whereby a human life already in existence is destroyed, this type of sin appears to take next place, for by it the generation of human nature is impeded.” -St. Thomas Aquinas.
I know this is unpopular with the readers, but the teaching is that those who engage in contraception have already committed murder in their heart. Contraception is what allows people to engage in recreational sex, because the natural end of sex has been set aside so too then has the institution of marriage, whose end is children.
Likewise, because we have committed murder in our hearts, we have become a petulant, immature, vain, and a sterile people similar to any other people who have taken the risk from reward or the consequences from pleasure. This is the most difficult pill to swallow.
On Feminism
The Church condemns feminism in the strongest terms. There cannot exist feminism without birth control.
“…any use whatsoever of matrimony exercised in such a way that the act is deliberately frustrated in its natural power to generate life is an offense against the law of God and of nature, and those who indulge in such are branded with the guilt of a grave sin.” -Pius XI Casti Cannubi
The Church asserts that Man is the head of the household and that a woman finds her vocation from being a good mother and housewife:
“This … does not deny or take away the liberty which fully belongs to the woman both in view of her dignity as a human person, and in view of her most noble office as wife and mother and companion; nor does it bid her obey her husband’s every request if not in harmony with right reason or with the dignity due to wife; … For if the man is the head, the woman is the heart, and as he occupies the chief place in ruling, so she may and ought to claim for herself the chief place in love.” -Ibid
The Pope has even gone so far as to condemn women’s suffrage:
“Woman can never be man’s equal and cannot therefore enjoy equal rights. Few women would ever desire to legislate, and those who did would only be classed as eccentrics.” -St. Pius X
On Pacifism
The Catholic Church is not simply just a religion of love and mercy. Christianity is not a weak religion, for our God is a God of Battles. Catholic Tradition encourages us to live our lives in the manner of our Lord Jesus who spoke of the struggle that his Church would have to endure.
“Do not think that I am come to send peace upon earth: I came not to send peace, but the sword.”-Mathew 10:34
Christians are not meant to sit idly as bystanders to the great struggle of good and evil in this world.
“For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood: but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness: against the spirits of wickedness in the high places.” -Ephesians 6:12

Omg as a libertarian republican it makes me so happy that you’re not against Republicans totally and just realize that trump is a problem. I really think trump made republican = bigot to a lot of people and that’s not true and just creates a bigger divide. I’m a bi woman and I’m conservative. We exist. It’s not black & white. There are many minority conservatives. And I appreciate your pragmatism! Leftists NEED to realize that Bernie is not electable against trump & they need a moderate to win.
I am not at all against Republicans. Some are very intelligent and class acts. Even if I don’t always agree with some of their political stances I can respect their way of doing business or running their states, etc.
One of my husband’s closest friends is a republican in DC who just took a ton of shit on Twitter because he ran a lot of the impeachment hearings. But they went to law school together and to me he’s just this funny, quirky great, loyal and honest guy who is friends with my husband. I know him as a person first and foremost. I don’t care that he supports different ideals than me. it’s okay that we think differently. He’s still a wonderful person who wants this country to succeed. And that’s how I view a lot of Republicans. (Plus, people would be shocked to see how well republicans and democrats in Congress and such get along behind the scenes).
Sorry. Off topic but made me think of that. This country hates him for a while but we’ve been at home rooting for him in a way because we know what a good man he is, just doing his job.
It’s the Trump supporters or the religious zealots or the super super right conservatives I don’t like. But on the other hand, I also don’t care for the super super left liberals either. Yes, I lean more that way, but anything too far in one direction will alienate too many.
I very much respect people who are intelligent and thoughtful and who ultimately have this country’s best interest at heart. I hope they’re ideals align with mine and we elect a democrat. But literally I would be okay with a moderate republican as long as he or she is a good person (and all I said before). I’m so so so sick of the division and how people are willing to throw stones over bullshit lines like democrat and republican when really it should just be about getting Trump and other corrupt assholes out of there.
Thank you for saying what you said. I agree with it all. I am friends with some Republicans and it doesn’t matter at all to me. You can be a very good person who respects this country and simply sees a different solution from the democrats as better and not be wrong. It’s just a difference of opinion. What matters most is intelligence, drive, true love and loyalty for this country, for this WORLD. For PEOPLE. And the fight to make us all better.

Journal 356: Getting Better (Also Getting Political)
Recovery
I seem to be getting over my cold already; my throat doesn’t feel as irritated and I don’t have as many sniffles. It’s a nice feeling since I recall most of my colds lasting forever, but, in retrospect, I was in school for most of those colds. Being around a bunch of people and having to walk around, go to class, and stress out about stuff doesn’t help with the recovery process. Ever since I became something of a recluse, I stopped getting sick—silver lining to everything I suppose.
I’ve also just made sure to drink plenty of water. I even slept in for an extra hour and a half to get that bedrest. Now that I think of it, I’m recalling that I had planned to take a nap too, but I forgot about that since it wasn’t something I committed to in my “Tasks” last night—it was just something I thought of this morning. Basically though, I’m saying that I probably have a better idea of how to take care of myself now.
Texts
This morning (or maybe early afternoon) I got a text from the person I talked to at last week’s support group, the guy who had a manuscript that he was nearly finished with that I had offered to help edit. He said that he’s read some of the stuff on my blog and that I’m good at writing. I simply replied with a “Thanks!”
I ended up subtly feeling self-conscious about that single-word response for much of the day though, so in the evening I got around to explicitly saying so and more clearly expressing my thanks towards him taking the time to read my blog as well as thanks for the compliment. Just “Thanks!” by itself didn’t feel sincere enough—though it may mostly be the social anxiety, the clarification of my sincerity went a long way to making me feel better.
I had thought of going into how I’m still interested in doing that editing thing and that I hope my offer hasn’t made it more difficult for him to work on it. I think that might be a bit of projection though, since I feel like I’d be anxious about writing something with the full knowledge that someone else was ready and waiting to edit and critique it. It also all just felt like a bit much to try to express in text messages, especially with how wordy I am.
Pen Pal
Speaking of communicating with someone, it’s been awhile since I last messaged Wan. I imagine he’s been busy with school picking back up after winter break, but I wonder if he’s also hung up on how to reply to my message. I did hit him with some leftist hot takes on some stuff, and I’ve expressed concern with how anxiety-inducing any degree of conflict can be to me, so he might feel like he’d be writing on thin ice.
It’s getting to a point where I might message him to try to reassure him that I want to try having that kind of conversation; I wouldn’t have broached it otherwise. True, I don’t know where my boundaries are and that might be anxiety-inducing for both of us, but we’re not going to find where those are without poking at them. Regardless, I trust that he’d handle things respectfully despite any disagreements, and I can’t really ask for more than that. Though, I also wouldn’t mind if he felt like changing the topic either.
It’s probably fair that I explain some of those “hot takes” that I shared with him... But I don’t feel like getting into it right now. I tried writing out some of them out, but it was triggering my anxiety. I think it’s not just that it’s political in nature, but that it involves discussing things that Wan had written to me, and I’m not sure how I feel about disclosing that without permission. Not that he’s said anything offensive: more just general respect for privacy.
I think I might be able to get out my own takes as long as I simply them and don’t bother trying to explain the context of why we were talking about it:
I don’t think it’s a good thing for Christmas to be secularized
I didn’t research it, but I put out the idea that Japan probably celebrates a “secular” Christmas because it was put upon them by Americans after WWII, and I referred to it as a sort of cultural imperialism
I don’t think people should even have fancy beach houses when there are homeless people.
Also didn’t research it, but I expressed concern about the general concern about the fetishization of beaches and the effect such tourism probably has on the environment
I asserted that people don’t need a big business like Disney to be able to organize themselves to make big movies and similar types of art
Further, if people had their basic livelihoods ensured, people would probably produce even more of those kinds of works than we have now
Basically, I allowed myself to be an unabashed leftist anti-capitalist with him. I’m someone who internally cringes whenever someone refers to liberalism as being the left alternative to conservatism; I’ll grant that it’s relatively leftwards, but it’s still pretty far to the right of my stance on things (unless I misunderstand what modern liberalism is, which I definitely might.) I’m far enough left that I earnestly think it’s best that I don’t go into detail about it here because of how actually public this blog is.
I’ll take the opportunity to share this playlist though. Also shoutout the “Breadbook” again.
School?
Something that spiked my stress a bit today is that my mom, on behalf of my father, asked if I was interested in going back to school—for anything really. I simply answered “I don’t know.” The truth is that I’d actually like to go back to school and study, but the problem is that i don’t know how we’d pay for it. The things I’m genuinely interested in studying aren’t exactly money-makers either: I’d probably go for being an English, history, or philosophy major or something.
I honestly think just continuing to write on this blog would be about as effective as majoring in the things that I’m interested in learning about. I mean, I’d totally go to school if it were ever provided for free, which is something that might not be totally impossible if we get Sanders as president. Otherwise though, I don’t imagine it would be worth it.
I also just have a hard enough time thinking about the debts I already have, so much so that I can’t even get into the details right now. I think I’ve managed to discuss it a bit in the past, but I don’t have the stones at the moment.
Anyway, I think it’s more that my parents—especially my father—don’t really have any idea of what I’m doing with my time. I mean, I’ve let my mom know that I’ve been practicing my typing lately, but I don’t know if she has a good idea how impressive “over 80 WPM” is. They definitely don’t know that I’ve been keeping a daily journal for nearly a year or that I’ve still been studying on Khan Academy, even if it’s not something that amounts to a degree.
I also just don’t think it’s worth trying to explain things to them either though. Based on prior history, I simply don’t think my father would be impressed. He would put it on me to prove that I make something of my efforts; if I can’t, then it’s probably been a waste of time and I’d be better spending my efforts on something else more “productive.” That’s all a bunch of stuff that I don’t have the capacity to deal with, and it’s not my responsibility if my father is stressing out over how I’m “not doing anything.”
I’m happy with the progress I’ve made in just the past year. As far as I can tell, I’ll continue to make progress. I don’t have any concrete plans or any idea how I might make a living in the future, but I’m trusting that I’ll get myself to a point where I can do those things eventually, as long as I keep up with this journal and attending support groups.

My Thoughts On The Vic Situation
I’m aware that I’m going to be called a “cunt”, “bitch” and other vile names for speaking my opinion but this is just my thoughts on the whole situation.
~*~*~*~*~*
Considering that I'm more caught up with Overwatch VA's these days, but I have sadly learned of a situation with a VA that I loved.
Read the journal for more information:
There are some journals about this.
I never thought that the #metoo movement was going to be a problem movement. It was originally combating against Sexual Harassment, but I guess there are people out there to twist it for their own agenda. Like Monica and Jamie did. They twisted it to fit their own agenda to take a person down, just like anyone that uses this movement to twist it for their own personal gain. These fucking idiots felt like using it as a weapon to ruin people's lives JUST for the hell of it. Susan B. Anthony must be rolling in her grave right about now, I can't blame her though. Since all of her female descendants are poisoning the feminist movement and forgetting about equality.
I also forgot that Vic was accused of sexually assaulting girls at cons, which there is no EVIDENCE of him doing that.
Both Monica and Jamie DON'T have evidence that Vic did this to them. Allegations like this require evidence and so far Monica & Jamie show none of it. It's all a hearsay.
These people basically don't know what sexual harassment is! They never met anyone or experienced what sexual harassment is like or how to feel. They decided to say; well I was sexually harassed by this person, but I don't know what it's like being sexually harassed anyways.
Was Vic being inappropriate? No. But yes, he is a bit of a touchy guy but he doesn't mean to be touchy it's just who he is. He always asked permission before giving hugs and kisses on cheeks, but there are at times where he does it without consent. The fans are ok with that. But what was his crime? Being Overly-friendly to people. Being too nice to people even his co-workers, now he's going to be afraid to hug his fans again after this situation, he's going to be afraid to give out his hugs and kiss on the cheeks to fans. Since he won't know if they will sue him or file harassment against him. Studying Vic's body language, tone, and speech during his apology he displays textbook remorse, sorrow, and self-awareness. From what I have seen he clearly got comfortable with treating everyone fairly, assuming everyone wanted to be hugged, kissed or fan serviced with a scene of one of his popular characters. The man has already apologized for becoming too lazy about hugs which display self-awareness and remorse.
They, Monica and Jaimie, think hugging and kissing on the cheek is sexual harassment. Which is not! Vic is very affectionate to his friends and fans, he's not afraid to hide that. Even they should go to some European countries that are big on giving hugs and kisses on the cheeks.
The fact that the voice actors of DBZ are throwing Vic under the bus to save face makes me sick to my stomach even their comments, don't get me started on the comments some made. Personally, they have a personal vendetta against him, which I'll explain at the end, they know Monica and just want to defend her of all this BS. Then again the majority of these voice actors at Funimation are narcissistic Leftists.
Funimation dropped Vic without hearing his side, cons banned him and now he's left with nothing. He's banned from Cons and fired for doing a job that he loves and a community that he adores.
It's funny that they dropped Vic without evidence, but remember the incident where another VA of FUNimation was accused of Child Pornography? FUNimation decided to wait until the evidence comes out. But with Vic? Nope, sorry bud you are cut from the scene.
The only voice actor that is on Vic's side is Todd. He is standing by Vic's side, which I praise him for.
I literally lost respect for Funimation, which I haven't watched them for years, they fired Vic without evidence shown. While Funimation said that they don't condone harassment, they still have Monica, Jaimie, and Sean who openly harass fans who question them over the lack of evidence.
Monica is basically acting like a bully who constantly says that they are going to tell on you but with her, it's like "I'm gonna screenshot this to show my lawyer!" She obviously now thinks she can sue people for disagreeing with her. Can I say that those who were sexually harassed sure as hell won't go online to tell the whole world what happened!
I’d say if you’re accusing someone of something serious you are OBLIGATED to provide evidence. Where has the mentality come from where you accuse someone of something horrible and serious and you expect people to go off nothing but word of mouth alone and treat the accused as 100% confirmed guilty? That’s a disgusting backward way of thinking.
Especially with screenshots being capped of people wanting to edit photos of Vic to make him look guilty because of their twisted sense of justice. The people who felt uncomfortable exist, but don’t you dare sweep under the rug the proven false allegations still circulating and people with malicious intent trying to lie to make things worse.
You can’t accuse people and when someone asks you to bring more info and proof to the table you essentially say “I don’t owe you proof, you’re supposed to just believe me completely.”
NO. That’s not how things should ever work in real life. It’s illogical and illogical to expect that of people.
Does she not realize serious allegations like this can lead Vic to depression and suicide? But then again she doesn't care nor does SJW's care about whose career was destroyed. Which I hope Vic doesn't consider even doing. No one wants that.
Monica Rial has officially gone on a complete meltdown on twitter. She's showing her true colors: she's a textbook narcissist with false victimization tendencies. She displays compulsory to lying, passive aggressiveness to hold herself accountable. She doesn't want to stop the harassment on Twitter, she's fueling it. She said that she had to be far from social network because of her lawyer's advice (which is the best solution honestly), and now she keeps threatening people like that. She threatens those that question her for evidence and to show proof. How can she still work at Funimation after this, this is unacceptable. She didn't give us any PROPER photo evidence, video or audio evidence to back it up these claims. Now if there was evidence I'll happily change my mind but this is all just a hearsay. When Monica threatened to sue anyone who simply makes a video that has a different opinion than her, it showed a guilty conscious. She bragged about getting his job after this, she claimed he didn't have the right of innocence before being guilty outside of court. Can I just say it's funny that I know two people that are treating Twitter like a courthouse? Monica Rial & Timethy Heller? Both are treating Twitter like it's their personal courthouse just to be sided with.
And FUNimation is basically defending her through this BS. Monica personally LIED to take Vic's job away from him.
Also, how can fans follow this VA that constantly harasses people that asks for evidence? Like, how can you still support her after what she's doing? She has no video evidence, no anything to prove her point that Vic did this to her, it's all a hearsay!
But now let's take a look at this at another angle, this is just a thought: If Monica Rial and other coworkers apparently knew that Vic Mignogna had been this “sexual predator” for years, why didn’t anybody do anything about it beforehand? Why didn't they report his behavior to HR(Human Resources) if he was sexually harassing them? Or even try to talk with him to curb his behavior.
How were they still working with him that whole time? No investigation, no police report, no credible evidence, nothing? And she’s saying she doesn’t owe any sort of explanation? Yes, she does! She OWES an explanation to fans about him. She and others put fans in danger because of him if he was a "Sexual predator".
Especially if she’s trying to make claims against someone regarding sexual assault or sexual harassment. Those are serious offenses that should be reported to law enforcement immediately, not some angry Tweet to vent to some fans and subscribers about on social media years after the supposed offense.
If Vic is proven guilty (which I doubt cause I've yet to see hard solid proof but there hasn't been any) then they should be held accountable as well cause they let a predator on the loose and turned a blind eye to his wrongdoings and all the people he "sexually harassed" after that are because of them cause they knew but didn't stop him.
Thanks to them they banned someone who's the most sweetest VA anyone has met, a lot of people had met Vic and they literally said he's the sweetest person. Vic also defended the LGBT+ community and told off a bunch of Christians in front of the building where the con was being held to leave so that those that were attending can enjoy.
To those who say he's "homophobic", he supports the LGBT. He might be Christian but he defends and supports the LGBT+ community.
Much to the saying says; Rethink your heroes and never met your heroes. Since you may not like who you meet. It's like a punch to the gut for fans to realize that these VA's of DBZ are shitty people. All respect that fans had for them, they lost their respect for them.
But I'm also saying that there are friendly VA's that you should meet and that you should have a great experience with. Just remember that VA's are humans too and they can have emotions just like us.
Continuing,
I need to add that Sean Schemmel, Goku's VA. Funny enough, I liked Sean since he seemed like a cool guy but after this situation (probably from the youtube videos that make him look like a cool guy). I stopped liking him as a person, I love him as a VA but not a person, he's also coming to Wisconsin Comic Convention so a lot of fans will give him shit about this situation. I bet that no fans would ever wanna meet him in person anymore and avoid him because he turns out to be such a rude, disrespectful douche. A fan talked about Sean that he's a mixed bag, he can be nice & Friendly but he stresses a lot, another said he has Bipolar Disorder.
He basically defended Monica and Jaimie after this situation, he absolutely has lost my respect by his behavior to some people. Some people like myself are trying to stay neutral and objective about this, but Sean is making it personal by tweeting this out.
Only, I think Sean jumped into the Vic situation because he doesn't like him. Maybe that he has a fear that he's not going to be FUNimations poster boy anymore since Vic is a very talented Voice Actor. People give Monica, Sean Schemmel, Chris Sabat and so on way too much credit. They've been planning to get rid of Vic for years, ever since Vic stepped into the studio. Now that the Super Broly movie has gotten so much praise, it was the perfect opportunity to get Vic in trouble with false accusations. Vic is a white European male who has strong Christian ties - it's exactly who the Leftists love to side against. This man is literally one of the nicest guys out there. And there's also proof that was leaked of people planning to stage evidence against Vic, such as photoshopped pictures to accuse him of something he didn't do.
Monica is one of many threats. There's also Chris Sabot, who stated only the so-called 'survivors' know the truth and that we should listen to them. Sonny Strait is also attempted to back up Monica's claims. And there's that Neil, who openly admits he's always hated, Vic. He posted a video of Vic riding on the guy's shoulders at convection. Almost like a damn parody, he tried using that video as evidence, claiming he felt assaulted. Which wasn't an assault, he got on his shoulders and was having himself a good time, Neil looked like he was having fun too.
Then there's Jamie, who stated she basically wants Vic dead. How psychotic do you have to be? Jamie is an absolute psycho, just like that Marzbitch(Who started the whole kickvic campaign). Even Jamie has a lot of nerve to tell Vic to apologize to her. What for, Jamie?! If you ask me, Jamie Marchi needs to apologize to him for the death threats, name-calling treating him like shit. She needs to apologize, but she won't because she'll refuse too. Every FUNimation VA's chose a side, some have remained silent on the matter, but some have decided to add fuel to the flames making it bigger.
Anyway back to Sean, he is dragging us through the mud throughout all of this bullshit. Fans want answers. Monica made this public on twitter. It is our business now. Which it shouldn't.
If they wanted to handle this professionally and privately, they would have done so. They did not do so. They are acting like children. Monica took to twitter, she made it public and now it's the fans business now. She's treating Twitter like a courthouse so that she can be believed and have fans turn against Vic, she's manipulating them into thinking that Vic is this monster, which he isn't. Those that want evidence, they know what's going on and they don't believe her. There is more proof coming out of the woodwork.
To everyone defending Monica, stop. You have fallen for her lies. This woman, instead of going to the authorities, staying neutral til proof was presented, choose to talk about something this serious on Twitter. She wants attention and she got it. Hell, her withholding information like this alone makes her a shitty person because of she alone, for those who believe that Vic is a monster, put more people in danger.
She knew that saying she was a victim would get everyone on her side because she voices Bulma, a very well-known and loved anime character. And you believed her. No questions asked just “Omg not you too!” “I’m so sorry you had to go through that!” “NoT mOnIcA!”
Doesn't take much to win y'all over huh? Anyone could say that Vic touched them inappropriately at this point and you’d immediately believe them without proof or a bit of an explanation on what happened, and no, saying “He was creepy” isn’t good enough. Not when it comes to accusations like this.
If they didn't want any of this to happen, they should not have gotten their fans involved. Now some people could be in serious danger because of these FUNimation VA's releasing private information. Do they think about their fans? No. This just shows their true colors, they don’t care about them. They don't care that they put their fans in a serious situation because they couldn't keep their mouth shut.
The swatting incident is absolutely awful and I hope whoever did it is found and charged with attempted murder. Sean talked about this in a tweet. This has already happened several times in the gaming community and has even lead to someone being killed. Swatting is a very serious matter and should not be done on any side. I know that a voice actor almost getting killed is terrible (it's a relief Reuben is alright and alive), but scapegoating the Vic supporters into this is just idiotic. We have nothing to do it with it and even if were someone who supports Vic, he's not doing a good job and we disassociate that person from us. If Vic is innocent, this is not how you prove it.
He's digging his grave ever deeper, just like Monica is. He's ruining his reputation more. He's showing more of how much of a douche he is. He's making more of his fans losing respect to him.
All of it is his fault, not the fans. He's dragging the fans down with him.
He said he was going to "stay off of twitter" but he decides not too. Why is it that hard for him to comprehend that?! If you want to "stay off of twitter" then do what you said before and not do a freakin' 180. All he had to do was say nothing. Stay out of this shit show, but no, he just had to take a side and add his fuel to the flames.
All of this SHOULN'T HAVE BEEN MADE PUBLIC. There are reasons why lawyers tell you to stay off the media to avoid letting people know about this. When this goes to court, these tweets can and will be used against them. Monica obviously should've listened to her lawyer's advice but nope, she refused to listen and threatened anyone who wants proof since "she has a lawyer". Obviously, Vic has a lawyer so he's doing a good job of laying low and not saying anything until they go to court.
Then what would Funimation do if these tweets are used against Monica? They would face an option on firing her, then try to find someone to voice Bulma or just keep defending Monica once everything was revealed.
In the end, if Vic is found innocent. Then we can all say karma played her sweet role in this. That still won't recover Vic's career sadly, since it's already been tarnished because of these allegations and it won't be the same. I even doubt he would even want to step foot in FUNimation ever again, due to all of them stabbed him in the back and ruined his career for good.

You can just say that you don't want to upset your large alt-right following, I'm pretty sure it's an open secret at this point that you too bend over backwards for them whenever you can, seeing how you are openly buddy buddy with Nazis
do you even follow this blog/recent drama/bannings wrt that or even my endless sparring with them or are you just helicoptering in on a whim, fired up on rumours?
Like,
To not only go “oh, this was terrible, this was horrible” but “this isn’t funny nor should it be and i condemn people from doing it, how dare you sick sick people” ad nauseaum beyond what I already expressed would be little more than pedantic theatre to appease reactive faceless people’s sensibilities (aka you) who have a menacing regard for me. Like, can I trust you are any better or less predatory than the alt righters and fascists in my inbox harassing me every day? Especially when you approach me with such hostility and wanton disrespect? Is it not enough to feel a way and simply not express it?
If there’s one thing i try to do here that should be obvious at this point, is that I try not to do and retread topics that are extremely commonly available or are part and parcel to the polarized ideological camps readily available among people subscribed to herd moralities and the performances demanded of them. Often, if not always, alot of issues require a nuanced take, a suppression of emotional reaction and a reservation to observe it’s totality to garner truth or a sum of truths from, in order to render sense and wisdom of it. I attain such totality by encouraging an air of agora where people are ENCOURAGED to express and talk and engage with me on a level that allows me to better understand and see through facile rhetoric to the motivations and reservations concealed beneath. In fact, my engagement with people like Verax was a long con in this regard because it allowed me to better study and render sense of his hostility to me in a way that sated a morbid curiousity. There’s a reason why i leave my inbox wide open in spite of the abuse that is routinely lobbed at me by the same people you assume i “buddy buddy” with, which is just beyond callous and fucking tone deaf.
But also, to that, who the fuck are you? Why are you here? Do you even follow me? I can’t take anything like this, i guess “criticism” in good faith because you approach me in bad faith, anonymously, with a ulterior motive to categorize me to moralize onto with your shallow comprehension of the morals and the blindspots inherent to your own ideology.
to tell people not to make jokes or do this and do that - or really just TELLING people what to do - is completely against my principles, not for any other reason than my nietszchean ends of sensory comprehension and study. All I do is rip jokes on dark subjects on a VARIETY of shit, but at least i care to learn of that variety and not languish in a world of black & white dispositions.
It should go without saying, but there is something powerful and healing about such humour about as much as it’s used by sociopaths who are completely lacking in empathy. It’s a fucking coping mechanism for the horror I dive into. I want to understand and build a proactive praxis from, you want to react and be reductive. It’s like, not too dissimilar from the drama surrounding Gilbert Gottfried making 9/11 jokes “too soon” after the terrorist attack. As a transwoman, I fucking have to be light hearted and quick to render lightness out of darkness. To be brittle and sensitive is to submit to death and the routine horrors of my experience that demand a sort of gallows humour to survive.
https://www.vulture.com/2016/02/gilbert-gottfried-on-his-911-joke-too-soon.html
here, actually this is a good time to address the issue in the left where discourse is demonized and put down from a refusal to engage with the issues and the narrative that you build a cancel culture moralizing bubble around. A sort of cannibalistic race to the bottom that makes most contemporary leftists or rose emojis (see: neoliberals) simply insufferable and impossible to render a genuine conversation and engagement with. I can’t stand totalitarianism.
Have a fun read:

It’s a lot of white folks revealing their internalized racism over a character ending.
Jax preventing slavery is not genocidal to white people. He said in his ending that he made the world better for EVERYONE. He said it took multiple attempts until he finally got it right.
People say its the term “woke” that has everyone upset and then in the same breath, say his ending is sjw leftist properganda and caters to “snowflakes” ...but you’re complaining about a word and a whole ending... mmhm
For those saying his wife and Jacqui wouldn’t exist, they would exist in the new timeline, not be erased permanently. If you all can just think critically you’ll see this but the minds of inherit racist proves time and time again that thinking is too much for them.
If anybody says Jax isn’t a sjw, or anything alike. He’s in special forces. He’s a soldier fighting for the justice and freedom of various different realms alongside Raiden, Kitana, and many others. Also, he is a BLACK man and he’s from earth and given his age, he undoubtly faced racism. Being in the army does not protects black people and non black poc from racism. If you THINK for a second that any black person with the power to change time wouldn’t prevent slavery from happening or ending racism, is sadly mistaken.
Lastly, to those trying to find a reason why this country needed slavery, you are racist. Period. I could care less about “American wouldn’t be America, we wouldn’t have so many great things, Black culture in American wouldn’t exist.” First of all, America wouldn’t be tainted with colonialism given that Jax made the world better for EVERYONE as he said in his ending. Meaning everyone is living in harmony in their own lane. All the great inventions made by black people will be in Africa. All of the talent will be in Africa. Everything that is black will be in Africa where it’ll thrive, free of colonization, gentrification, and discrimination. So quit trying to justify slavery as if it needed to happen for the advancement of this country. That’s a sick way of thinking
TL;DR: there is nothing “reverse racist” or controversial about Jax’s ending in Mortal Kombat 11. To those who do not like the ending, you simply do not understand because of cultural differences. The reasons presented as to why his ending is so bad are poor and not well thought out. Just say you hate black people and don’t want them in your video games because video games is your only escape from your pathetic life. That is all. If you’re mad, be mad at yourself and purge your system of all that ignorance and racism and be free.
#mortal kombat 11#mk11#this is the last time im soeaking on this because some people are honestly too simple minded to understand this

Nuances and the Right/Left Paradigm
I agree wholeheartedly with this comment from Zeph at Quillette. This is on the comments of the article that I just linked to on my previous post.
@d It would be good if you were right that “[leftist] it’s used as a short hand to mean something quite specific, at least by most people: I’d say “leftist” refers not to Dems or liberal or left of center but to the woke collectivist version of self-proclaimed progressivism”
Alas, I think if you reread the comment threads empiracally, you may find that that it’s used much more broadly by a large portion of those commentors right of center. But K. Dershem’s point was not only about stereotyping of “leftists” but of “liberals” and “Democrats”, which is almost as rampant here as the stereotyping of whites, males, etc by the PC fringe of the liberals. In the first few comments of this sub thread we find:
“To democrats there are no individuals, only whites, blacks, Hispanics, Christians, Muslims, Jews, gays, lesbians, ect…”
“To Democrats there are no individuals, only oppressors (whites, males, Christians, Jews, rich, Republicans) and victims (blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, Jews, gays, lesbians, females, poor, Democrats, etc.).”
“Democrats and leftist only see groups. Democrats and leftist fear and despise individuals and prefer group think.”
I suspect you may not notice how ubiquitous this is. I notice because I have been a lifelong “liberal” and have voted for Democrats for 50 years (sometimes not whole-heartedly). The large majority of my close friends are liberals and vote Democratic (or Green). I suspect some here would more quickly recognize stereotyping of conservatives, being human.
And yet, these characterizations of liberals do not fit the large majority of those liberals & Democrats I know. The folks I know are largely very caring, thoughtful people who are not deeply into identity politics. (There are also SJWs in our extended circles, but we find them problematic people, not examplars to emulate). They are not evil people who despise individualism and see only groups, they don’t hate all white people, they don’t want to throw open the borders, etc. Of course, to some degree that’s because we all filter our friends, but even among generally liberal groups I spend time with, I find the ourright SJWs to be a noisy minority, not representative of the community.
So the characterizations I see in the comments here are constantly striking me as overly broad brushes at the best, self-soothing caricatures at the worst. I sigh and move on – I’m here to find the gem comments that are unusually prevalent in this ore (compared to most sites), so I try to mostly ignore the “mine tailings”.
I’m here, tho, because I do find Identity Politics and Political Correctness extremely troubling.
Even if the SJWs are a minority in many or most liberal communities, in some areas they have become dominant – parts of academia, some corporations, etc. And yes, some of the Democratic party.
And despite what I have said about my liberal friends being very decent people, I do find that most of them frequently stereotype conservatives, and prefer to live in their liberal bubble. (Just as I see conservatives do; this is a sickness of our society, not of just one party). I see politically correct framings of reality creeping in, and it concerns me.
I see political correctness as an memetic virus (in the Richard Dawkins sense of “meme” as a self-replicating unit of cultural transmission, not more recent the captioned picture usage). It preys on good intentions and kind feelings, but then distorts perceptions and seduces the well meaning. As folks go deeper into that framing of the universe, it covertly offers “moral high ground” payoffs, which are like candy or cocaine to the ego (for all sides, but here I’m talking about liberals).
I see that “moral high ground” dynamics as the single largest core problem; it justifies selective empathy and selective numbness that allow nominally progressive people to act in ways that are inconsistent with their professed values.
And it’s becoming a real problem with infiltrating the cultural elites. I don’t see any good outcome from that; instead I have a baad feeling about this.
One difference between me and the typical commenter here is that I am seeing it from the inside, with understanding of how it works. I don’t impute projected bad motives on the liberals who are slowly succumbing to it – I can see that PC’s initial appeal is to their good motives, actually.
But at heart PC is very corrosive, it’s based on shaming and blaming, on asserting that moral high ground that corrupts and transforms. It’s deadly for classical liberalism, and for what I consider the necessary “metaculture” contanier within which any hope for a multicultural society must exist.
I really do see it as a cultural pathogen, adapted or evolved to get past the defenses of liberalism and take root before spreading itself.
So my goal is to help with the immune response to this pathogen of the body politic. It’s most prevalent among liberals because this mind virus is customized to appeal to them – but I see some very related victimhood dynamics on the conservative side as well, so believe that the right is immune to this cultural dynamic at your own peril (our own peril).
In that regard, we can be allies. You might call me a philosophical liberal with a STEM background and a desire of politics that have a good impedence match with reality. As such, I can respect philosophical conservatives, as to my best understanding both (traditional) liberals and conservatives have blind spots and are better at seeing each other’s blind spots than their own. But I’m less impressed with what I call “tribal conservatives” and “tribal liberals”, who are less interested in converging on an every better approximation of the truth, than in “winning for our side at all costs”.
“A Harvard-Harris Poll survey showed that 55% of those polled said Google was wrong to fire [James] Damore, including 61% of Republicans, 56% of independents and 50% of Democrats.”- wikipedia
That’s only 11% difference between Republicans and Democrats. Half the Democrats were against it.
Those of us on the side of reason and sanity are not all sitting on the Republican benches. We need a broad movement including classic liberals as well as moderates, conservatives, and libertarians to oppose the many excesses of Political Correctness.
I have the experience that when I speak my perspective (strategically) in some liberal venues, a number of people tell me how it helped them put their finger on something which was bothering them too. There’s a lot of discontent with the PC strategy building from within liberals, but it’s often unfocused and diffuse. One of the strengths of PC as pathogen is that it makes opposition difficult.
But when opposition to the PC infection is mixed with heavy doses of opposition to everything left of center, unsurprisingly liberals feel pushed to join ranks; maybe the PC crowd isn’t that bad, compared to the attackers anyway.
It’s encouraging to find other liberals and moderates who can see the problems with PC. But it would be good to join with reasonable conservatives who can distinquish between the PC infection and liberalism in general – and who are willing to help take down PC without expecting everyone to become an arch-conservative as a precondition.
Anyway, as part of this, I would like to encourage the folks here to be more nuanced than lumping all “left of center” folks as one hive-mind, and to avoid conflating the struggle against the PC infection with the permanent struggle between left/right.
That means being willing to work with sane liberals to resist the PC mindset, without expecting that means they will have to agree with every tenet of conservative philosophy. I see Poliical Correctness as making civil and meaningful debate impossible and that’s a bad thing – but my goal is to restore that healthy debate, not to cede it entirely to conservatives.
So, how about we come up with a name for those infected with “PC” specifically, and aim our joint criticism at that. (You probably wondered when I’d get around to your final question, no?).
I mean something neutral on the left/right spectrum. Like I refer to most on the anti-AGC sides as “contrarian” versus “mainstream” scientific view, as the most neutral terms I’ve found.
Maybe “cultural absolutists”? “social justice wing”?
In the meanwhile, how about just using “SJW” when you mean the crazies on the left, rather than all liberals, or all Democrats? (The problem with “progressive” is that nobody knows which political subgroup it really means today, so it’s mostly just confusing).
The only minor disagreement I have is that, instead of using the term “social justice warrior” or “SJW” - I would, instead, use the term “social justice dogmatist”... simply because there is no single agreed upon definition of “SJW”. In fact, people on the alt-right will even use “SJW” synonymously with “liberal” or “leftist”.

SO what do you what will happen now with the whole fake Bomer guy supposedly be a trump supporter? Do you think the blue wave will restart or is it too little to late?
The most significantrevelation of the mail-bomber incident was that the Republicanmainstream – not the usual fringe kooks, but the levelheaded, respected commentators – immediately suspected it to be amanufactured “October Surprise.”
Some of those knee-jerktweets have since been deleted, likelyfor the same reason that I was more alarmed that I could entertain a“false flag” theory in the first place than I was by the possible“false flag” itself. Embracing asinine conspiracy theoriesis, to me, a hallmark of left-wing agitprop, an indelible impressionfrom my formative Bush-era youth when ~Halliburton~ and~Bush’s cabinet of puppeteers who have Jewish last names~was unceasingly invoked in anypolitical argument. And yet, despite knowing theoverwhelming odds of a lone lunatic being the perp (as indeed theywere) and my own decades-old biases against conspiracy theories, Istill found myselfmuttering dubiously.
Iwasn’t alone in that impression – the NewYork Times picked up on it too, and as is their wont managed todisclose their unique myopia as well. In their effort to equate allright-wing media to Alex “Lizardman Chemtrails” Jones’s usualconspiracytainment bullshit, theydrop this revealing paragraph:
Mr.Jones has been largely pushed tothe fringes of the internet — kicked off Twitter, Facebook and adozen other services — and his cries for attention now seem mostlypitiful. (This week, he was filmed yellingat a pile of manure outsidea rally for President Trump in Texas.) Buthis spirit lives on in the larger universe of pro-Trump media, whichhas fused the conspiratorial grandeur of Infowars with an unshakablefaith in Mr. Trump’s righteousness.
Theyautomatically equate media exposure of an idea with how manyviewers believe the idea. The thesis of the article lies inthese two sentences; Alex Jones has been silenced, but the moremainstream right-wing media has picked up his ideas, and that’s whythey’re still alive.
Thisalone speaks volumes about the media’s worldview, but to reallydrive it home see thisarticle wherein the reporter blames Trump’s attacks on themedia for their plummeting popularity, as if the Great PresidentialPumpkin can sway millions of Americans into hating themainstream media via his eldritch mind-control rays. This is why theyspeak of “an unshakable faith in Mr. Trump’s righteousness-”leftists view the world in terms of stupid mobs and the influentialdemagogues that sway and lead them. They simply cannot comprehendthat their own actions have shattered the public’s trust in them, despite the problem long predating Trump (one of my Journalism 101professors cited trust polling that consistently put Journalistsbelow used car salesmen back in 2007!) They find it easier tobelieve that their vast media empires’ combined megaphone is beingdrowned out by RumpleTrumpskien pied piping on his magical racistdogwhistle than to admit that people might think for themselves longenough to call them out on their egregious lies.
Thisdovetails nicely with recent revelations thatthe FBI leaked information to the press, then cited said “reporting”to the Justice Dept. as justification for further investigations, including FISA wiretapping warrants. Whilethe media’s lunacy is frequently amusing – reporters leaningdramatically into nonexistent wind, CNN’sfit over a panel truck blocking their stalker peephole in the hedge,or going bugfuck insane because Trumphad dinner without informing the media – nobody’s laughinganymore. And it’s precisely because of the growing understandingamong the populace of how the media has wantonly abused its power toaid the abuse of Federal power to nullify the results of a democraticelection. As Ian Miles Cheong said; “if the media can lie about somethingas insignificant as a koipond feeding ceremony, what else are they lying about?”
Well, now we know – and the people don’t seem amused.
I’vecovered the media’s worldview and demonstrable myopia before; Iaddress it in this instance to show thatthe media simply cannot adapt their message. Indeed, the NYT article on fringe-to-mainstream cites the mocking/pol/ “suspicious devices” meme without apparentunderstanding of how it undermines their implicit assumptions mereparagraphs prior of deplatforming speakers equalingthe silencing of their ideas. Theleft-wing “mobs and demagogues” is more than theory to them; it’show they organize – which is why John Oliver’s sick Friday nightburns are being repeated ad nauseam on Facebook by early Saturdaymorning. Theleft truly cannotmeme;it’s simply how they function. So when RumpleTrumpskien needles themedia into talking All About Themselves instead of the issues at handyetagain, iteffectively makes the mediathe issue at hand – and given that pollingconsistently shows that many Democrats are coming to distrust themedia of late, that’s not a strong issue for the DNC.Conversely, right-wingers will be shitposting the latest dank memeswith or without Alex Jones’s Twitterfeed, comehellor Maxine Waters.
Thusly,I conclude the mail bomber incident won’t have a significant impacton the electoral map – notjust because of widespread cynicism engendered by constant mediafalsehoods, but also because the structural problems that producedsuch alsocripple the media’s ability to exploit such incidents. In fact, themedia’s incredible blindness makes them likely to harmthe left-wing’s cause by doubling down on narratives that wereasinine the first time around. There is no bad news for the DNC thatthe media’s mental illness cannot make worse. Takethe latest example of thesynagogue shooter thatturnedout to be a Trump-hater who thought POTUSwas controlled Jews. Theusual hate-mongeringWaPo crowd actuallydug up the “star-shapedbackground graphic in a campaign ad” gem that was laughablelunacy beforeTrumpmoved the US embassy to Jerusalem and made defending Israel in the UNa cornerstone of US foreign policy. Thisis placed at the topofthe article, as if it’s a powerful and convincing lead-in to thelong-winded paranoid rambling of “troll armies” motivated by theusual mystic ~coded signals~ mentioned later on. Eventhe more sober-sounding takes likethis NYT hit-piece must open by blaming Trump for the crimes ofTrump-supporters andTrump-haters,which obliges the author to afascinating attempt in pissing up a rope without getting wet.
Itnaturally follows, then, that breathless media polling reports citing85% and upwards chances of a “blue wave” retaking the House areabout as trustworthy as similar polling in 2016. Even Nate Silver’smuch-vaunted “538” polling agency has come under prettypointed criticism for the number of times they’ve shrugged offsimilar “80%” predictions that haven’t come to pass – froma Harvard professor, no less. Furthermore, midterm elections are different in many ways – local issues oftenhave people more fired up (read, pissed off,) especially regardinggubernatorial elections. Since midterms are traditionally very lowturnout, a popular gubernatorial candidate can have a huge impact on“down-ballot” races – i.e. people show up to vote for thegovernor, and vote straight party ticket for alltheother candidates, US House included. In short, the polls mean jackdiddly squat, soeveryone’s simply reporting what they want (if you don’t believeme, look no further than Fox News’s reportinga nail-biting dead heat currently, then thisSeptember 22ndarticle on how dismissing “blue wave” rhetoric as the bullshit itis could suppress the Republican vote via overconfidence.A “dead heat” narrative is the safest way to turn out votes; norisk of overconfidence or hopelessness keeping people away from thepolls.) Soto evaluate the potentials, we must turn to the murkiest of allpolitical-forecastingcrystal balls - “energy levels.”
There’sbeen multiple media-exacerbated own-goals for the left in thatregard, most notably the mind-blowingly vicious smear campaignagainstJustice Kavanaugh that only managed to rile the right wing via sheeroutrage even more than the left. I could roll this one around fora while – talking about the surprising pluralities (note therelatively high numbers of Democrats and low numbers of Republicans“Very Angry” over Kavanaugh’s suffering; a surprisinglycenter-right plurality,) or how big the Republican benefit really was(Republicans being moderately more outraged than Democrats amounts toa low gain if Democrats enteredthe fray with high outrage already; but it’s likely that manyRepublicans who didn’t care at all before are outraged now).Butthere’s a larger factor to contend with – the historical realitythat the party controlling the Executive usually loses seats in theHouse in midterm elections. It happens with regularity for the samereason PoliSci101 shows you a “standardized plot” of Presidential approvalratings over time – human nature. Whoever’s in charge gets blamedfor everything bad, simply enough – so even popular Presidents willshed a few seats in the mid-terms. Combine this with the importanceof turnout in midterm elections and the oft-lamented anti-Trumpobsession on the left, and everything seems to point to Democratsbeing more motivated.
However,I’m not so sure they are.
Youtuber“Aydin Paladin,” an advanced psych student who usually talksabout psychology in a political context, did a video 11 months agotitled “LeftistLethargy and Low Energy,” specifically addressing how aconstant state of horror and outrage at every single damn Trump tweethas the inevitable consequence of emotional burnout. One cannot stayoutraged forever. At some point, you simply stop caring. Onecould debate Ayadin’s point that the left was demonstrablyhittingthis point a year ago, or posit that they’ve had time to recover –but I personally believe the lethargy lingers. Myevidence? A quick jaunt through the New York Times’ editorial page:
*A Halloween op-ed about Trump literally being worse than the fuckingbogeyman (“WhenNightmares Are Real” by Jennifer Finney Boylan,)
*An article begging Democrats not to take a usually-safe votingdemographic for granted, Native Americans
*An article on “how to turn people into voters,” featuring a modelspecific to “black Southerners,” who are a safe Democraticdemographic – but only when they actually turn up to vote,
*Andmost tellingly, an article titled“You’redisillusioned. That’sfine. Vote anyway.”
Blindand narcissistic they may be, but I trust the media to know their owntribe – and theiroutlookon the base’s revolutionary fervor looks rather dim. Once again themedia’s endless talent for own-goals is apparent. The continuingdemonizingof Trump as theworst nightmare ever onlyensures that a choir that tired of the preaching a year ago willremain so. The struggle to get black voters to actually turn out isan old and ongoing one, but pissed-off Native Americans isn’t justElizabethWarren’s fault – it was mostly the media that accepted her DNAtest showing some squillionth of a percent of native DNA asvindication, andthen gallopedover to Trump to triumphantly flaunt it at him, giving him a goldenopportunity to mock it on national TV – on their own live networkbroadcasts, even.
You’llnote that the point regarding the media’s self-sabotage of theleft-wing movement was made many paragraphs ago, but it continues torear its awful head as a salient factor in almost every exampleillustrating any otherpoint in this article – this is how pervasive it is.
There’smore to Democratic lethargy than the media pissing off key left-wingDemographics in western states with important House races, however –there’s also the overall lack of a message. Instead of coalescingon a single one, Democrats appear to be taking a local-issuesapproach, which is rather awkward given they – and the media –have spent the last two years making absolutelyeverything aboutTrump. They’re stillmaking everything about Trump (e.g.synagogue shooter) even now, inthe eleventh hour. Thenthere’s the notable and growing strain between old-schoolblue-collar union Democrats and the “progressive wing” (viz.privileged wealthy white socialists) whichdivides their messaging on the economy – especially tellingconsidering the record-low unemployment and rapidlyrising wages. (It’s hard to tell people they’re living inObama’s economy whenyou were telling them it was Trump’s climate a few months ago.)
Andof course, the cherry on this shitstorm sundae is the latest greatestmigrant caravan advancing through Mexico – seven thousandstrong, originally – which took Trump’s single greatest electionissue and slam-dunked it in the middle of the debate again. Thecaravan is significant because it tangiblyprovesTrump’s long-standing point regarding immigration problems, and isexactly the kind of thing a big wall would hinder – awall Trump can’t build if he can’t get a funding bill through theHouse.
Insum, the left still lacks a coherent message, is still desensitizingtheir electorate with constant panicked screeching, is frequentlypissing off their own key constituencies with their ham-handedagitprop, and are helping to suppress their own vote by portraying anelection that’s all but won. Meanwhile the Republicans have aPresident who’s actually delivered on many of his promises, has agreat recent event to showcase how delivering on the rest rides onthis next election, and, in general, have optimism.Somethingabout Kanye West’s recent visit to the White House stood out to me– he saidhe had nothing against Hillary’s campaign slogan, but when he puton a MAGA hat, he “felt like Superman.”
“Feltlike Superman.” That’s a sentiment of empowerment.Obamaunderstood the power of positive messaging – it’show “Hope and Change” swept him into office in his first term.Democratsthis year simply don’t.
Ican’t call it either way. But I cantell you that anyone who thinks this election is all over but for thecounting isnuts. The battle lines of 2016 have only been dug deeper, and thesimple truths of human nature make for an uphill fight – but by thesame token, Democrats have badly misplayed the hands they have, arecompletely incapable of real self-reflection on any significantscale, and Trump’s been President for two years with realsuccesses, with the much-ballyhooed Trumpocolypse yet to descend.
Insofaras I can call anything, I’d say this election is going to be close.I’d tell you to go out and vote, especiallyif you don’t want to see the party encouraging mob intimidation andstoking racial hatred controlling the House – which they’ll useto launch endless sham investigations of Trump long after Mueller’scharade finally gives up the ghost, in addition to impeaching himjust for the hell of it. If Trump loses the House he- and his agenda- will be a lame-duck for the next two years, because any seriousbill needs to be passed by both House and Senate.
Onceagain, everything is on the line.
I’mnot sick of winning yet.

I'm sick of the Government Shutdown. I'm sick of being called a racist/stupid because I support my President and our country. Face it leftist - the economy is good, unemployment is down and our country is no longer the door mat it used to be. Why would I not support the sovereignty of our nation? Millions of your legal and documented, legitimate Americans are denied government benefits everyday, every second. Why would I want to help make the problem worse by allowing illegals to jam it up even more? So sanctuary states can get more taxpayer dollars...for what/who? You the legal and documented? To ensure Social Security and Medicare or Medicaid - I don't think so --Build the damn wall. We have our own poor and almost homeless, and homeless too take care of. Sick and in need- WTF? It's a real shame that our government refuses to work together. It's all to up-ing one another. The people did vote Trump because he talked and promised the logics that real working Americans care about. Standing with and supporting our Military and Law Enforcement/ First Responders! Religion. The right to life. A life less chaotic.
There is no way I could ever take the popular media seriously (CNN, MSMBC, HLN, ABC, CBS, NYTimes, etc) - simply put - FAKE. You guys are so twisted with hatred, you have no idea what the truth is. When it comes to governmental or general politics, I can't take you seriously. Completely BIASED INFORMATION. Since I can't rely on unbiased news from these outlets, I can't trust ANYTHING these outlets put out. Truly SAD. Does anyone know of a real unbiased news outlet. Just report the news. Don't want your agenda added in, no way shape or form.
Roe V Wade. No brainer there. If you use this as a means of birth control, you got some real issues that need to be dealt with, and if your a NY'er, and you go full term, then you need to call an adoption agency. My opinion is as in Roe V Wade - up to six weeks, eight max. That twenty-four (or longer) weeks thing is out right murder. If your a Christian, take it up with GOD, because he's gonna want to take it up with you. It is your choice, but not one I would support. Condoms and spermicides and other BIRTH CONTROL exists so you wont have to make this decision if it was completely consensual. Rape is another story - up to eight weeks. Take responsibility boys and girls. Abstain? The sex probably wouldn't be that good anyway - if it is, woo-hoo for you! you got you a love child.

So as a leftist for years and years, I have ONE problem- What about the many of us sick/disabled who can NOT rely on family or community voluntarily assisting, even in an ideal anarcho-communal/etc situation? Bad communities and families abound and many of us, myself included, rely on legally mandated government assistance to survive. Heck, not even just disabled folks but just in general those whose communities/families are scum? I've never gotten an answer to this besides 'its worth you dying'
I’m gonna try to answer this as best I can, for I too am on disability and am legally disabled.
I’d first like to start out by saying my answer is not the only answer, it’s just one answer.
1a) Theres a monetary incentive under capitalism for families to be shitty to disabled family members, this is not the only incentive, but it is definitely the reason for the abuse many mentally ill and disabled people face
because people see us as useless to this capitalist society, because we aren’t productive members under their definition. However, under a system where there is no monetary incentive to abuse people, this is far less likely to happen.
I can definitely say the vast majority of the abuse I receive come from financial reasons.
1b) many disabled people today that are classified as disabled could live on their own, but simply cannot afford it under a capitalist system, and therefore would be prone to death either from starvation, eviction, the elements, etc.
under a system that provides people with housing and necessities, disabled people no longer have to worry about whether or not they’ll be able to eat or maintain their housing.
2) I’d like to say that under capitalism many skills and talents disabled people have aren’t considered important or profitable, but under communism there are many other ways for disabled people to live their lives, for instance many disabled people like to do art and read and write, but do not have access to the means to do this, that would be different under a society not governed by capital
3) it is true there is no perfect way to prevent a family from abusing a disabled person, but I like to think disabled people will have access to a possible network of nurses/care takers, as more people will be able to go into these fields once it does not cost money to attend, and they’re guaranteed housing and food and supplies while studying,
furthermore people will no longer have to worry about whether or not these types of jobs are profitable, they can simply worry about helping other people which is what they want to do.
So communities will have far more people in this field to help disabled people imo.
4) it would be much easier for a disabled person to move under this system, it’s not perfect, and would likely still need work, however if a disabled person feels their community is bad and there family is mistreating them it’s far easier for them to pick up and move, as they no longer have to worry about how to find housing, food, transportation, etc.
5) many families are not equipped to deal with disabled people, and would under a system not ruled by capital, be able to take classes on how to care for their disabled relatives/friends, they would also have access to therapy for it, and they would have easier access to nurses/caretakers/etc.
6) It may be possible for disabled people to create their own communities under this new system, and help those within their community, alongside the help of non-disabled people for things various disabled people in the community would be unable to do
I imagine many disabled people would be very concerned with how other disabled people are treated, and now that they don’t have to worry about proving themselves disabled/mentally ill/etc. they can do what they can to travel, and assist other people.
7) there are disabled people who will not be able to move or speak for themselves, however many of the things listed would lessen their suffering, it does not 100% eliminate it, I do not have a complete answer for this, because I feel disabled people may always be abused,
however I think this system will prevent the abuse of the vast majority of disabled people, and alleviate the struggle of most of us.
8) It is not perfect, but it is the best solution currently that I have, it will take many people working together to think about how to further prevent the abuse of disabled people, which is far easier to get people thinking about and acting on when they have better access to education, housing, food, etc.
it would give people the time to think about these questions, and figure out how to continue to alleviate the suffering of disabled people as best as we possibly can. this could possibly involve the creation of new technology, or better support systems.
This is all just my opinion though, I hope it’s better than the answers you’ve gotten in the past. If you have any other questions let me know and I’ll try to answer them to the best of my ability.

/post/170127287928/sniper-at-the-gates-of-heaven-wild-how-some I found this post of yours really interesting; where do you see this undercurrent manifesting?
Hey, I left this question unanswered for a while because I wanted to give it the attention it deserves. I am currently on holiday, so I finally have the time to address it.
For everyone else reading: the original post was about the influence of Nazi ideology after 1945 and I voiced the opinion that you still encounter a lot of it, often masked differently. Most of the sources I will link are in German because this is obviously not something that is being dealt with outside of Germany a lot, and many are quite recent because it has taken this long for the public media to address this part of our cultural history. Critical voices were often silenced and are almost forgotten now. In fact, critical voices are still silenced if they dare to say that this recent history is still present our views today. I will translate passages that I quote or paraphrase.
To understand the real effects of Nazi ideology after 1945, we first have to look at the influence Nazis still had in the 50s and 60s. Here is a list of former NSDAP members who went on to have a political career in the FGR (Federal German Republic). Please note that membership in the NSDAP was never a legal requirement and that you only “had” to join if you had any political or economic ambitions in the Nazi state, which meant supporting the ideology at worst and accepting it for your own gain at best. There were absolutely no guilt-free NSDAP members. All of them were Nazis, either because they believed in it or because they considered it to be ok if it benefited them.
In 1951, the Bundestag decided that all civil servants had a right to re-employment. Over 90% of former Nazi civil servants made it back into civil service: as politicians, jurists, teachers, public officials. “Not a single judge and not a single state attorney has been legally convicted for their crimes as part of the NS justice system.”
After the occupation, the old jurisprudence was simply reactivated, with the same staff that had served in the Third Reich. Most of this staff had been members of the NSDAP, all of them had carried out their will. “The young, terribly capable NS jurists experiences the peak of their careers in the sixties. They shaped the young Republic.” They received promotions and political influence. Hans Globke, who wrote an annotation that put the Nuremberg Laws on legal ground, became Secretary of State. Hans Puvogel, whose dissertation advocated for racist cleansing and eugenics, became Minister of Justice in Lower Saxony. Edmund de Chapeaurouge, former judge for race defilement charges, and Rudolf Weber-Lortsch, former SS leader, resided at the Federal Administrative Court until the mid-seventies. Former Nazi judge Willi Geiger served as president of the Federal Court of Justice and associate in the Federal Constitutional Court until 1977.
Germany’s first Chancellor, Konrad Adenauer, was literally a Nazi sympathizer. While he had shown contempt for Hitler and the NSDAP as a politician of the Weimar Republic, and openly denounced them (in favour of monarchism, I might add), he later had no qualms putting a lot of former Nazis in his cabinet, and called SS soldiers “decent people”. Notable Nazis and former Waffen-SS in Adenauer’s/Kiesinger’s cabinet:
Karl Carstens, member of the NSDAP and SA, who used his later position as President to give political positions to other former Nazis, such as Bernhard Hinrichs
Hans Filbinger, a former NS judge
Hans Globke, see above
Kurt Georg Kiesinger, NSDAP member and propaganda liaison of the Foreign Office’s broadcasting department, who went on to become Chancellor in 1966
Theodor Oberländer, SA-Obersturmbandführer, assistant to Erich Koch, strong supporter of the ethnic cleansing of Slavic countries
Franz Josef Strauß, Oberleutnant of the Werhmacht, Nazi educator and “Offizier für wehrgeistige Führung”
Ernst von Weizsäcker, served as Secretary of the Foreign Office and Ambassador to the Vatican in the Third Reich
Maybe the most sinister way Nazi ideology continued to fester was through education. In the 1950s, a large majority former Nazi teachers and professors were allowed back into schools. “Everybody had to fill in a “de-Nazification form”, then everyone who had joined the NSDAP before 1933 was dismissed from service. However, a majority would later be reinstated into schools. That was in part because about 95% of people were somehow conntected to National Socialism, and “you can’t make a state with only five percent”, as contemporary mayor [of Hamburg] Max Brauer once said. Of course many tried to wash their hands of it and denied their involvement in the Nazi system, or claimed they had been acting under duress. If you didn’t have a chance to re-enter teaching [in one Bundesland], you could often do so in one of the others, sometimes under a false identity.”
These teachers continued to work and influence children, often using Nazi disciplinary measures such as excessive violence, putting great emphasis on physical fitness, openly spouting racist, antisemitic and eugenicist ideology, harassing and abusing Jewish, non-white, disabled and leftist children under their “care”. Famous authors Ralph Giordano (Jewish) and Hans-Jürgen Massaquoi (mixed Black) who both had Nazi teachers later reported this made them suicidal, incited violence against them from other children, and affected them for their whole life. On the other hand, as part of the rising interest in pedagogy in the 1960s and 70s, there was also a revival of the teachings of Peter Petersen. The reform educationalist had created the “Jenaplan” which was now the basis for a school reform -- but he had also written about Hitler as the “educator of the people”, sung the highest praise to the SS and SA, vocally supported eugenics and biological racism.
Now I am not saying that every concept is tainted because of its inventor, and there are definitely good ideas in the Jenaplan, but the problem is that Petersen’s Nazi history was conveniently ignored and swept under the rug instead of openly discussed. This behaviour is a constant in the way we have dealt with our living history, and it is the breeding ground for Nazi ideology to go unnoticed, to weasel itself into our minds undetected, to make itself look harmless and totally detached from its violent history.
That is what I mean when I speak of an undercurrent of Nazi ideology in Germany today. Because as long as we do not confront where our ideas and teachings and cultural norms come from, and what might lie behind them, we will always repeat things that have been brought into the world by the Nazis. It was them who introduced Mother’s Day and built our autobahn and we have to be aware of why that is and what purpose that served in order not to romanticize their actions and accept their ideas. It was former Nazis and Nazi sympathizers who told us that our history doesn’t mean we cannot be patriotic, and that we should be patriotic, and if you do not question why that rhetoric came from people who openly served Hitler and murdered Jewish people and was eaten up by all those “good and innocent Germans”, you’re really not using your head to think. We still use Nazi terminology like “Endsieg”, “Endlösung”, “Anschluss”, “ausmerzen”, “ausrotten”, “entartet”, “Untermensch”, “Sonderbehandlung”, “Umsiedlung”, “Schutzhaft”, “Führer” and we should really question why we don’t feel sick every time we hear these phrases, why we don’t change our language, what mindset this reflects.
There is a reason why the AfD is in our Bundestag now and why people have no qualms blaming the foreigners and refugees for everything that goes wrong. There is a reason why I hear customers at work openly proclaim that Hitler wasn’t all that wrong, that he did good things for Germans, and that we need a strong leader. There’s a reason why a client who is a Social Democrat is talking about how the immigrants are all criminals. There’s a reason why every week my boss reads news headlines to me about how immigrant men rape German women and how foreigners bleed the German state dry. There’s a reason why they feel perfectly safe doing that. Germany hasn’t changed all that much. Nazis, racists, antisemites, fascists have always been in our midst. And we have covered for them.
The only way to truly oppose Nazism is to be vigilant about the ways in which it still informs our society. To never let anyone forget. Always bring up our history, our crimes. Don’t let the people feel safe in their complacency. Everybody is all too comfortable pretending that this is “over” and we don’t have to care about it anymore. But we do have to care! We have to be critical of ourselves and others! These people were our grandparents, our politicians, our parents’ teachers. These people are still in part alive and those who aren’t made sure to pass on their legacy to the next generation. And we are only one generation removed from that. We are part of it, and that is why we need to confront it.
