The Wolf Fairytaler: Poor Thomas, he went through so much, did everything he could, and he still got the bad end of the stick. He was always doomed to lose. His life could have ended up being different on multiple occasions, but oddly enough, everything bad that seems to happen usually occurs around his birthday. I wonder if Thomas likes his birthday or not.

summer horror series entry one: the texas chainsaw massacre (2003) 🥩

~ while road-tripping through the backroads of texas, a group of friends’ idyllic summer afternoon is interrupted by a disturbing encounter with a hitchhiker ~

this film falls under the road-trip category of my summer series, which typically intersects with southern gothic horror. this is one of my favorites (if not my favorite) summer horror movie. it’s jam packed with action from start to finish and features gorgeous cinematography that rivals the original. it’s a 9.5/10 for me!

For those who aren't aware, Thomas is seen taking roadkill or just general dead animals and makes masks out of them. And it has been confirmed in the comics, well, as how much cannon they are. That Thomas had killed in the past before, with that one boy and his group of friends in the lake. So he's definitely familiar with the idea of death and isn't disturbed by it at a young age. Could it be his mental deterioration? Possibly, but I don’t think that's only it, I do think that Thomas dosen’t think much of life and death, and therefore, didn’t care that much if it would be seen as creepy or odd that he would do this. Since it was a part of life, not to mention that he was already seen as an outcast.
