Hi! I’m just starting out learning Marathi and am struggling picking up vocabulary. Your themed vocabulary posts are very useful! I have some word lists in my native language I would like to use to structure my learning - do you know of any good English to Marathi dictionaries, either online or physical copies? I found shabdkosh.com but when I translate from English to Marathi it only gives direct translations and no clues about what context you use the translations in…

I use the following myself apart from Shabdkosh:

Transliteral Foundation

Manogat (more on the technical side, needs more than 4 characters when searching)

There is also the Marathi to English dictionary by Berntsen, which can be back-searched here. The Molesworth dictionary can be handy, but it's ancient now, so it could be very outdated.

That said, learning context is difficult with these dictionaries as they're not very detailed in their meanings.
