La gelateria più piccola del mondo apre a Torino

In 8,5 mq di gusto e dolcezza il maestro gelatiere Alberto Marchetti ha stabilito con l’arrivo della primavera un nuovo, golosissimo record, dato che ha aperto a Torino una delle gelaterie più piccole del mondo. Per il maestro gelatiere questa nuova apertura è la numero sei a Torino, mentre è la decima in Italia. In sette giorni su sette, dalle 12 alle 24, la gelateria di Alberto offrirà 16 gusti, ideati e preparati sempre freschi ogni mattina proprio all’interno del laboratorio minimal,  allestito nella iconica torre di mattoni rossi di Corso Galileo Ferraris 290. Ma Alberto non è solo in questa nuova avventura perché la gelateria sorge accanto al nuovo M** Bun Aquatica e il marchi, che  in piemontese vuol dire “solo buono”,  è il primo slow fast food italiano fondato da Francesco Bianco, Paola Pellichero e Graziano Scaglia e inaugurato a Rivoli, in provincia di Torino, nel 2009, con prodotti preparati al momento con materie prime fresche non congelate e provenienti da filiere controllate. Ed è un sodalizio, quello fra Alberto Marchetti e M** Bun, che dura da anni e che adesso  ha spinto  i due torinesissimi brand a creare un vero e proprio polo del gusto, a due passi da Piazza D’Armi, dallo Stadio Olimpico e dal Pala Alpitour. Come sempre l’impegno di Alberto è quello di offrire un gelato fresco, semplice e buono, lavorato e mantecato ogni giorno nel laboratorio ed è  solo quello che serve. Le materie prime sono selezionate direttamente in giro per l’Italia e attingendo dai presidi Slow Food, m la bontà sta nello scegliere ingredienti di alta qualità e freschi che rievocano emozioni vere come quelle dei più piccoli. Invece nel M** Bun all'interno di Aquatica Torino, in un luogo vicino allo Stadio Olimpico, al Pala Alpitour, a piazza d’Armi e alla Facoltà di Economia e Commercio, l'offerta si amplia a diverse aree della giornata, offrendo tavoli anche all'aperto con aree cablate per una sosta smart, dalla colazione al dopo cena. Ci sono croissant e brioches artigianali e senza conservanti firmati dal panificatore Raffaele D’Errico e dal pasticcere Fabio Lanfranco e farciti sul momento con confetture di Il Frutto Permesso di Bibiana e creme spalmabili al cioccolato e pistacchio della Cioccolatopuro di Pinerolo, da abbinare a caffetteria e bevande con latte e yogurt sono dell’Azienza Agricola Fusero di Savigliano, in provincia di Cuneo, oltre al caffè anche in versione filtro di Lavazza Tierra. i usually go for whole milk bc i just think whole milk and coffee go together, BUT i also like oat in coffees- im not lactose intolerant at all, its like, the one digestive problem i dont have so i like to Enjoy That Fact.

also i’ve never had a good experience w almond milk and coffee whether i was drinking it or making it, it doesn’t foam the way you want milk to foam and its almost always too sweet and the wrong consistency imo. i think almond milk goes best in cereal as an alternative not in coffee. (idk y the world turned away from soy tho.)

And. i do not see the point of lowfat/nonfat, (esp as a diabetic) bc that’s actually more sugar and its more watery so worse foam for hot drinks. “lowfat sugar free vanilla latte” fuck off just get an americano if ur that worried about the sugar.

chain-wise i fuck w/ peets bc its pretty good coffee for the cost point, and i actually work at blue bottle which is subsequently where i get most of my coffee-but they’re owned by nestle so im not going to sing their praises

back in my hometown there aren’t really any coffeeplaces At All, there was the one i worked at which closes in the fall, and one other that was like on the other side of town so i just made my own. here in the bay tho there’s coffeeshops practically every few hundred feet so if i’m not working i just walk down the street and see what’s open lol.

i do like making my own coffees if im at home but its also really nice when other ppl make it for me like at work.

most of the time i do make my own coffee tho. i like to get medium or light roasts, my main beloved brand is lavazza, -super crema if i can find it and la tierra if i can’t. buying a whole bag of beans is a real commitment bc like, im one person and if i dont like it thats My Whole Month so i spend a long time smelling the beans in the store.

i dont really have an opinion on whole bean/grounded but like, if i can get whole bean i will. i just get A Little Nervous when im using grinders in public like oh fuck they’re gonna arrest me for grinding these beans in the store
