Cookie Run Kingdom AU : Light of Acceptance

What is the lore about?

This may follow up with the recent events of the cookie run kingdom lore[latest event is Burning Spice Cookie with Golden Cheese Cookie]. This AU is about a forgotten Sixth Soul Jam that was erased from Earthbread.

Starting Point:

The soul jam is also known as a 'false' soul jam, meaning it wasn't created by the Witches but a human teen who discovered the power of the Witches. Being inspired by their craft, the human created her very own soul jam, calling it the Light of Acceptance.

The human created many of the cookies with life powder and only gave one cookie the soul jam: Garuda Sovereign Cookie. He was tasked to be the true leader of the cookies under him and are one of the many leaders that were created by the human.

However, the cost was a few leaders and himself, were turned to stone, alongside with the souljam under Garuda Sovereign Cookie's hands.

However, everything turned South and darkness overtook the land. With Garuda Sovereign Cookie having to fight until his last breath, he casted the darkness into the soul jam, saving everyone affected by the darkness.

Many years passed and soon, everything flourished in the Kingdom of Garuda. New tribes and towns were made nearby and newly formed alliances were created to protect the peace they held long.

What is the AU based on?

The AU is inspired from a region of Southeast Asia, collecting inspiration of a few other Asian culture aspects[Mongolia, Bhutan, etc] for some cookies and locations. I may make drawing concepts of how it may look like.

The biomes are going to be based on Vietnam, Indonesia and Mongolia's biomes. Fortunately, I would also give way for new biomes from other countries too.

Whole Grain Association

An association of many Kingdoms and tribes that is created for a variety of reasons such as: trades, defense training, land possession, etc.

They are unaffiliated with the Kingdom of Garuda.

Kingdom of Garuda

Kingdom of Garuda is situated in a rainforest, citizens are called Bimas. They are known for their arts in architecture and intricate designs in any art. Music, paintings, you can name it all.

They also have the five original soul jams implanted in some of their tattoos and clothes for their hopeful peace treaty with the other ancients.

Their current owner is Po-Li Sovereign Cookie, younger brother of Garuda Sovereign Cookie[former]. There are currently 10 cookies who are related to Po-li Sovereign, some changed their names to avoid conflict with those who are against the Kingdom of Garuda.

Bhutan and India boosted tiger numbers

According to Bhutan's latest tiger census, tigers have increased their population from 103 to 131 since 2015 - which is a rise of 27 per-cent.

This follows the country's major interventions to help the wild tiger population, including community based tiger conservation programmes, habitat improvement and human-wildlife conflict management projects. 

Tigers are, of course, still at risk, but Bhutan's dedication to help and preserve their population is inspiring.

India has also reported a six pre-cent rise in their wild tiger population since last year. The country is believed to be populated by 3,682 tigers now.

Germany’s €49 travel pass

A part of a green new policy in Germany, a €49 (£42)-a-month pass allowing unlimited travel on buses and trains in Germany. 

This will result in about 25 per-cent rise (per year) in the numbers of people choosing public transport instead of cars - a low carbon way of transport (according to the national rail operator Deutsche Bahn (DB)). 

The Deutschlandticket launched on 1 May as a plan to lower the cost of living and encourage people to take the train instead of driving.

It seems to already have some great results: The Association of German Transport Companies says that almost 10 million people had used the pass by the end of June. DB has also said that trains to holiday destinations were busier this summer.

UK crop yields rose despite a fall in fertiliser use

 New data from the UK’s Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) revealed that UK crop yields rose last year, despite a sharp decline in fossil fuel fertiliser use. Many believed that these fertilisers were necessary, but this data proves that belief wrong.

According to Defra, wheat, barley, oilseed rape and sugar beet yields rose by 2.4 per cent in 2022, while fertiliser use fell by a reported 27 per cent. 

These artificial fertilisers are made using natural gas, and because the prices soared in 2022, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, farmers had to either use much less of them, or embrace more natural alternatives.

England’s plastic bag charge was hailed a success

Since the government in England forced supermarkets to charge 5p a plastic bag, there's been a 98 per-cent reduction of single use plastic bags.

That’s according to figures from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, which introduced the charge in 2015, then increased it to 10p in 2021. 

Environmental campaigners welcomed the figures, but urged the UK government not to row back on other green policies, including a deposit return scheme for plastic bottles and rules to make plastic producers contribute to clean-up costs. Both policies have been delayed until 2025.

A Version Of Eileen's Life:

It must all begin from the beginning; 1931 to be precise. For four years, Aurelius Dumbledore (a.k.a “Credence Barebone”), had been working for the supreme Dark Wizard, Gellert Grindelwald. As an Obscurial who managed to live to adulthood, Aurelius was an extreme rarity in the Wizarding World. Unfortunately, because of the parasitic Obscurus, Aurelius’s life still waned. Naturally, Grindelwald knew this sad fact and needed a plan, an “heir” to his weapon. 

While Grindelwald sent his numerous minions to find more Obscurials, the searches had proven to be futile for one reason or another. Eventually, Grindelwald began to come up with another idea; Obscurial or not, Aurelius was still the son of Aberforth. Thus, Aurelius was not just the last of the Dumbledore clan, but he was the nephew of Aberforth’s brother, Albus Dumbledore-Grindelwald’s main foe. Nothing could hurt Albus more than his own relative-present or future-joining Grindelwald. So it was decided, a new Dumbledore must come forth.

After much consideration, Grindelwald settled on the once-prestigious Prince family. It was said that Sacar Prince was a famous potioneer about two centuries ago. But, upon numerous competitors, betrayals and bad deals, Silvanus’s descendents struggled greatly. The latest of the lineage, Silvanus Prince and his wife, Melinoe Suspirio, was no different. Because of this, Grindelwald thought it easy to persuade the Princes’ to let their daughter, Eleousa, work for him.

In time, Aurelius and Eleousa would meet. Slowly, the two would become acquainted with each other. This was mainly due to their skills; Eleousa was impressed with Aurelius’s Obscurus, along with his romantic side. For Aurelius, he was impressed with Eleousa’s intellect, and her fascination with resurrecting the dead. Long story short, the two young wizards shared a passionate love for eachother. As a result, a baby was on the way.

Unfortunately, Aurelius would be completely unaware of his upcoming child. Shortly after a failed mission in Bhutan, Aurelius would reconcile with his father, Aberforth, and succumb to the Obscurus only a few days later.

 Sometime later, little Eileen came into the world. Unfortunately, Eleousa would die not long after her daughter was born. As a result, Eileen would be raised by Silvanus and Melinoe as if she was their daughter. Even going by “Prince” rather than “Barebone” or “Dumbledore”.

As Eileen grew up, the Prince family would see her as a disappointment. Especially as Grindelwald would reach his final downfall. In spite of her cold environment, Eileen tried making the best of things. For instance, she was loyal to her Slytherin House, was skillful in gobstones, potion-making along with spell-casting. She would often try to form a connection with her late mother by researching spells for reviving the dead. However, by the time she turned 21, she felt something absent in her life. Then, when in the Muggle World, she met Tobias Snape…

As a rough-and-tumble Teddy Boy, Tobias Snape was part of a group known as “The Web-Spinners”. Another member was Tobias’s best friend “Severe Seymour”, along with Seymor’s girlfriend, Lydia. However, The Web-Spinners weren’t the only gangs in Cokeworth as they were fiercely rivaled by the “Sweet Deaths”. During one altercation, a naive Eileen was in the gauntlet and would’ve been killed had Tobias and Seymor not stepped in. Eventually, Tobias and Eileen hit it off. 

Yet, while Eileen saw Tobias as a potential husband, Tobias saw Eileen as more of a “fling”. Disgusted, Seymour and Lydia often confronted Tobias about such a mindset. Urging him to either marry Eileen or break things off better the relationship gets even more serious. Events later took a turn when Tobias, Seymour and Lydia were at a pub-the same pub the Sweet Deaths were visiting. Thanks to his drunken boasting, Tobias had started a fight that escalated into a major catastrophe. In the end, Seymour and Lydia would be killed by the Sweet Deaths.

Remorseful and horrified, Tobias was at a loss on what to do next until he’d learn that Eileen was an witch. He begged her to bring back his lost friends but Eileen told him that resurrection isn’t what the Wizarding World does. So, Tobias made up his mind; he’ll marry her and, in turn, she’ll find a way to bring back the dead. Eileen knew not to make promises she couldn’t keep, but she could never say “No” to such a magical potential as reviving the deceased. So, in 1953, Tobias Snape and Eileen Prince would marry to the horror of the latter’s family. Silvanus and Melinoe would loathe their granddaughter for choosing a Muggle over her enchanted pure-blood; ultimately cutting her off altogether. 

In time, Tobias would quit being a Teddy Boy, move himself and Eileen to the last house at Spinner’s End along with becoming the reluctant father to a raven-haired boy, Severus. Yet, alcoholism and fruitless job-hunting would take a toll over the years. With these factors and Eileen’s failed experiments, Tobias grew more aggressive than ever before. At the expense of her own son, Eileen kept hanging on until Tobias and Eileen would eventually face Death themselves. Leaving Severus in the cold.

Devastating 7.1 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Tibet, Leaves 100 Dead and Widespread Destruction

The powerful Earthquake measured 7.1 on the Richter scale and shook Tibet on Tuesday, killing at least 100 people and leaving a long trail of destruction. More than 1,000 buildings were reported to be damaged or completely destroyed in Tingri County, where the earthquake was reported. Tremors were also felt in neighboring Nepal and parts of northern India.

CCTV, the state broadcaster, showed scenes of devastation: houses flattened, streets littered with debris, and walls brought down as a result of the shaking. The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) recorded the earthquake at 6:35 am, followed shortly by two aftershocks at 7:02 am and 7:07 am, with magnitudes of 4.7 and 4.9, respectively. The U.S. Geological Survey estimated the quake’s depth at 10 kilometers, while Chinese authorities reported the magnitude as 6.8. The epicenter was pinpointed about 75 kilometers northeast of Mount Everest in the high-altitude Dingri County, which houses a population of 62,000.

Injuries were confirmed by Chinese state media to be up to 62 in addition to general destruction all around Tingri County. “It is the strongest quake in the 200 km radius within the past five years,” said the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC). Social media from neighbouring Lhatse County displayed photos of damaged shopfronts, roofs crushed, and vehicles under rubble with streets littered with debris.

This earthquake is the result of the collision of the Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates that produces earthquakes and raises the Himalayas. Much like the earthquake on 25 April 2015, which rocked Nepal and had a magnitude of 7.8, this also produced grievous mortality, where casualty figures reach almost 9000 and maximum devastation is recorded across the region.

Bhutan, Sikkim, and Uttarakhand claimed to have felt the tremors. So far, no casualties or damages in India have been reported. Authorities in the affected areas continue to stay on alert as rescue operations go on in Tibet.
