I really like how Larry is allowed to be spiritual. A lot of times scientists are portrayed as atheists or cynics. Good change, nice...also that quote where he explained that science is just God reaching out to us. Beautiful. Stunning. No notes

one reason why i love megan and larry from numb3rs is that it's completely unexpected that they reciprocate feelings for each other. you would expect someone like megan, if she were to end up with a nerd, to end up with someone like charlie. she doesn't. she likes larry.

another reason is how much they're similar even though they're different. they're both trying to understand the world around them better. megan does it by understanding the human mind. she learns behavior and profiling. larry does it by understanding the universe, the cosmos, the world around him.

the third reason is how much respect they have for each other. i chalk it up to both of them being open-minded but megan listens to larry, tries to understand him, asks for clarity when she needs it so she full understands what he says and how, to him, it's connected to the conversation they were having. larry never discounts her experience or her understanding of the human mind (like charlie's been known to do). he's a scientist but he becomes that way because he's an observer. he watches the world and knows there's nuance and depth in ways he may not understand and trusts megan's understanding.

the fourth reason is that even though they don't really end up together (that we see) but they love each other. they realize they need to understand more about themselves and their lives. the world doesn't end, their bond doesn't fizzle. and it's okay.

Im getting into cop shows and i have no regrets

First of all The Mentalist? (it’s a show where this guy’s wife and daughter were killed by a serial killer so he helps the CBI with cases and to find the killer) Perfect batch of trauma and an absolute little shit in one character

Love all the characters and love the story line tho the way they revealed the serial killer in my opinion wasn’t how I expected it to be

Currently watching NUMB3RS and i love it, an FBI agent gets his brother, a collage math professor, to help out with his cases. Not only do they make good plots for each episode but they add in such sweet family moments that for a second I believe that the actors are brothers

I plan on watching more things and I’ve seen a few episodes of Brooklyn 99 and so far it’s good

Larry has a lot to unpack. Ian's only just beginning to try. It's easier to talk when it's just them, the desert night sky, and an unspecified number of coyotes.

It’s a while before the chatter resumes. The night is calm and still and so very silent, and it’s a relief for both of them not to be forced to carry on a conversation. When Larry tunes in again, grounding his consciousness from adventures in the cosmos, Ian’s quietly voicing a complaint about the TV coverage of his ordeal. “They issued a correction to clear my name, but too little, too late.” He pauses, seemingly wondering if Larry’s paying any attention at all. “Hope no one googles me before going out with me.” Larry picks up on the wrong aspect of that sentence. “You know, the term googol originated from--” He notices the look on Ian’s face. “What?”

So like I’m watching this show Numb3rs and I love it, it’s a great show, it’s a cop show about these two brothers, one’s an FBI agent and the other is a mathematician and they work together to solve crimes using math while also having some good family moments, currently almost done with season 3

But anyways that’s not the point of this post

I was ranting to my friend about it cause they’re the only one that listens to me and I started ranting about the house the brothers live in

Technically it’s their dad’s house but the younger brother, the mathematician, bought it in the first season

But I was ranting about cause I was telling her how I was so confused about the layout of the house and how I think I was finally getting where each room was when they jokingly, JOKINGLY, said I should build it in mincraft

It has been five days, I should be studying for a test, and I am almost done with it

What has my life come to?
