#injury #body horror #mech #Lancer #TTRPG Art #digital art #digital sketch #cw: major injury #cw: body horror #mechanical grafting #cw: death #art #artist on tumblr #artist of tumblr #small artist #Now that most of that's out of the way #As far as I can tell #Lancer is not meant to be played 100 percent as dystopic #which I want to remind myself as I make the setting #but I feel it important that the villains of my campaign are shown as the potential dystopic end goal #this is Olympus United's form of conscription #see the main citadel of the conglomerate is a city-state satellite #that floats over planets being taken over #most that are born are in the lowest rungs of society #a way out is to volunteer their DNA to be used for the army's clones #The process is done cheaply and far too efficiently #to the point that most clones barely survive long enough to be grafted into the mech #however any that do survive long enough #and survive a certain amount of deployments #will become citizens in their own right
