ROY G. BIV Tag Game
Thanks for the tag @illarian-rambling! These are all coming from books 1 and 2 of my WIP, The Testaments of the Green Sea.
Um I suppose content warning for violence and blood for the first one, if that is something that you are uncomfortable with, skip red and go to orange.
As he bent to continue his impromptu drink, the deck erupted. It was as if the wood itself had chosen to spring at the man, or the sea had punched through the ship's hull. The massive hand closed around the front of his skull, the rough and leathery palm engulfed the entirety of his face and muffled his shrieks. Blood spattered the deck, mixing with the wine. The crunch and the snap of bone and of wood were nearly indistinguishable. His form was pulled through the jagged hole, ribs and shoulders cracked and folded in on themselves, the sheer force ripped the left arm from the body. A spray of red painted the deck where a moment before he had stood. And then he was gone.
.
Of course, it's been great having more than just me down here. After Zanuk died, I was getting worried that Wadikir was never going to get another slave for the Hall, not that I’m happy that you and Suru are slaves, it's just if you had to be slaves anywhere I’m glad it was here, and -” Now it was Shela’s turn to blush; she could feel the heat rising in her cheeks. Her last few words had been barely more than a squeak. She quickly pivoted away from Otilia, careful not to send the scrolls rolling across the floor again. She wasn’t entirely sure why she felt so embarrassed, but she was. The two walked in silence through the labyrinthian pathways, past the flickering clay lamps that threw their dancing orange light over the ancient walls. Both were deeply mired in their own imaginations. So I was right, Otilia thought, It’s not just me. Otilia couldn’t help but smile.
.
“How long is this tunnel?” Narul groaned. “You’re almost at the end sir, just beyond this bend.” The tunnel abruptly opened into a large octagonal room, its walls carved from yellow stone, punctuated by three doors as well as the tunnel from which Narul had emerged. At its center lay a large round pool, shallow on one side and deeper on the other. Placed around this pool were various benches, cushions, and vases. He looked at the strange clay bottles which hung from the ceiling like exotic fruits and at the bronze tools laid out on a nearby table; pincers, hooks, and ladles among other things. For the slaves of Labisaj, baths had consisted of water pulled from the well poured over the body once or twice with a bucket, just enough to get the majority of the grime off of the skin. He had no idea what he was expected to do here, there was no bucket to be seen. On a whim, he walked towards the water. “Do I just get in?” He turned to the attendants. They looked at him, perplexed. “No sir, it's not heated yet, and you have not been cleaned.” “Cleaned? Isn’t that what the water’s for?”
.
The production was extravagant, even for Ninma. Dish after dish were presented to the tables. Fish and crusteacans played a central roll; stewed, boiled, baked, fried, even raw. Narul lost count of the varieties. After a short while, each silver tray would be whisked off by the servants to some unknown location, often with the majority of the food still left on them. Along with fish there came slabs of meat; beef and goat, nearly every dish drizzled with sauces of vinegar or mustard or else coated in herbs and oils. Occasionally vegetables; peeled asparagus, cabbage, and other greens would make an appearance and would be almost entirely ignored. Bowls of beer and wine were constantly replenished, with the banqueters drinking from golden ladels dipped directly in the bowls. Fluffy wheat bread too was in constant supply, this was only the second time Narul had tried wheat bread, barley being far more common. Otilia looked up from a dish of tiny octopi swimming in vinegar and sesame oil, to see Shela across the room, a sloshing bowl of beer balanced on her head. She smiled and waved. Shela frowned, eyes darting from side to side and mouthed. “We need to talk….tonight…” Otilia frowned, but nodded. Shela smiled weakly, setting the bowl at one of the tables and returned to the kitchen to receive yet more food for the banquet. The sensation of fullness was not one with which Narul had ever been particularly familiar. He leaned back with a groan, one hand on his belly, he felt somewhat sick. Ninma looked similarly green-faced.
.
It was dark now. He was alone. Did he dare call out for help? Only the reflection of the moon lit the world around him. There were no birds, no animals, just the soft whistle of the wind. He looked for something to cover himself, to warm his aching body, he found nothing but more snow. He could swear his fingers were turning blue. As he felt his breathing slow and his eyelids grow heavy, he saw two figures coming towards him through the snow, people he thought, what kind, he couldn’t be sure. Were they Apunian’s coming to kill him? It didn’t matter, they were something. " Help me." He pleaded as the figure drew near.
.
“I hope you have saved some wine and women for me!” A voice crowed as the tent flaps were pushed aside. Four men entered, still dressed in their armor, they were all southern nobility from the cities of Kotsa, Felu, and Kitsu. Tizanush, son of Atab the lord of Kotsa, was at their head. He was tall and handsome, with flowing brown hair and broad shoulders. He could have leapt from the mouth of a poet or from the chisel of an artist. He was new to war, having only joined Akard’s cabinet the year before when his father and by extension the city of Kotsa had sworn allegiance to the throne of Labisaj. The other nobles greeted him cordially, offering him wine and food, one of the prettier girls was even shoved his way. As he stood he began to undress, taking of his armor, and this clothing underneath, leaving his body bare. He grinned and flexed. “A true man doesn’t mind the cold. Even if parts of him might.” The others laughed. Zatar did not. He eyed the brat and his sword, coldly. Tizanush bent to retrieve his silken belt. The lordling inspected the indigo fabric for a moment and then tied it over his naked waist, and hung his sword from it. It was a beautiful blade, mountain bronze perhaps from Bur or Kurk, long and thin like a rapier in the the style of the southerners best-suited for slipping between armor, rather than hacking or slashing.
.
I should head back, I’ll already be later than Suru said I should be. Narul gazed at the shadows stretching away from the descending sun. It was only as he stood that he saw the figure bending to drink at the water’s edge. He had seen wolf pelts in the markets or draped over the shoulders of street performers in costume, but he had never seen a pelt still attached to the creature which had grown it. But even he knew that this beast was nothing like the creatures that had supplied those pelts. It was massive, the size of a horse, each paw as big as a man’s head. Its silvery fur seemed to glimmer a soft blue in the sun’s waning light. A stone came loose beneath the giant’s foot and clattered loudly against its peers. Narul swore under his breath as the beast straightened, its shaggy head turning owl like to see what had disturbed its drink. Narul felt a pang of fear as he looked into violet eyes, there were no irises nor whites, just dark pools like lost forest springs. It had the face of a human, smooth and hairless, its skin as pale as moonlight, its delicate lips the same golden hue as the sunset.

An Introduction to one of my OCs: Ninma
I haven’t posted anything in quite some time, health and life have gotten in the way, unfortunately. However today I noticed that my account got attention that wasn’t from cornbots, thus I feel like I should something. A long time ago I introduced one of my MC’s, the slave Narul(You can click here to see that), however I have yet to introduce my other MC, Ninma.
Ninma is the youngest daughter of Hutbari, King of the City State of Labisaj in the lands of Kishetal. At the beginning of the Green Sea Testaments she is five years old.
Some facts about Ninma:
Her full name and title is: Ba Ninma Asherdul Ninjali or put into simple terms, Ninma the 3rd, of the line of Asher, Princess.
A quick note on noble Kishic names and titles: The names of royalty and nobility in Kishic courts follows a strict system, namely: Number (As in how many people sharing that name have been born into that line or clan), Name (this is the given or forename of the individual, there is a specific collection of names which only nobility are able to carry), Line (This being typically named for the founder of the line, a new line may form because of feuds, migration, or as a marker of achievement, often famous heroes or kings are become the start of a new line. Some commoners may have a line name, but this is quite rare), Clan (These are branches which are removed from the main family line, most often the eldest child will carry the elder line while younger children will form clans. A clan may also be used to differentiate between branches of a family in different regions or adopted family members.), and Title (This being a noble’s rank Jal=King, Ninjali= Princess, Jali=Queen, Hiru=Lord, Ekiun= Horse Master, Etc.)
Ba( Number: 3rd) Ninma (Name) Asherdul (of the line of Asher) Ninjali (Princess) (Ninma as a child and being the child of Hutbari does not have a clan)
Ninma is a human, she is five years old though she is unusually small for her age. Her father is King Hutbari, her mother is the noblewoman Zibatha (Hutbari’s 6th and youngest wife) from the Tesaul tribe of Jezaan. Zibatha herself was the child of a Jezaai mother and a Namutian father. This makes Ninma ethnically, 50% Kishic, 25% Jezaai, and 25% Namutian.
Ninma has 27 siblings, of which she is the youngest
Despite her young age, at the insistence of her father, Ninma has been tutored on how to read and write and is quite adept at it, when she wants to pay attention at least.
Ninma’s literacy puts her in the only 6% of Kishic people who are literate
Her favorite story or piece of literature is The Naked Lord and the Crashing Waterfall by the poet Ramu, a less than age-appropriate comedy which follows the Kishic lord, Nassib, as he attempts, on a dare by farmer, to climb a waterfall, gradually shedding his clothes all the while. Much to Ninma’s displeasure, the tutor who allowed her to hear this tale was promptly banished from the palace grounds and replaced.
Ninma loves to climb and has already broken 3 fingers from various falls at the age of five.
The furthest Ninma has gone from her home in Labisaj was on a ship along with her many siblings and father.
Ninma is far closer to her father than her mother. This is primarily the result of her upbringing, Hutbari for one reason or another, limits how often his children are in contact with their mothers. It may be a way to ensure that his children associate more with their Kishic roots than their foreign mothers.
Despite her daredevil attitude, Ninma has a slight fear of deep water. Additionally, for reasons unknown, she has an intense fear or distrust of haircuts. Oddly enough she does appreciate having her hair cleaned and tended to, just not cut.
Her favorite foods are peaches (a very rare and expensive treat), fried trout, laka( a large flat bread typically flavored with various fruits or nuts), and piru ( a drink made from wine vinegar, water, honey, and various herbs)
Her favorite colors are yellow followed by red.
Her prized possession is the golden circlet which she wears on her head, given to her by Hutbari as a fourth birthday present and regularly resized.
Ninma is not a sage and is thus incapable of using magic
An Excerpt from Chapter 1 of The Testaments of the Green Sea
A pair of slaves wafted the king and his guests with fans of wood and parchment to cool the nobility and to shoo away the fat black flies that had a penchant for taking afternoon swims in the wine and the beer. A handful of the king’s children took seats around the pit. The king's once prolific proclivity for producing children had slowed considerably in recent years. A rumor drifted around the palace that Hutbari had become particularly close with one of his young advisors favoring the young man's company over that of his wives, often disappearing into locked chambers to discuss policy and foreign relations. These discussions must have been quite heated if the sounds the servants heard emanating from closed doors indicated anything.
The king’s youngest daughter, Ninma, happily dipped her bread in the wine, dyeing it crimson. She was by far his youngest daughter at five years, the youngest of twenty-seven children, the eldest now nearly thirty-two, and as with all of her siblings, she was not particularly close with her mother. Hutbari had made sure that, he would not have his foreign-born wives influencing his children.
No doubt the little princess was meant to be practicing her letters under the eye of a palace scholar but Hutbari was far too engrossed by the fresh bowl of wine in his hand and the scene before him to notice her.

Day 18 Kobani Worldbuilding Question
https://www.imagineforest.com/blog/world-building-questions/
18. Is the world more rural or urban?
Going by pure numbers more of the inhabitants of Kobani live in rural villages settlements rather than cities. This is not to say that there are not a great many cities spread throughout the planet. I will take this opportunity to show a bit more about the cities of the Green Sea. For this post, as has become the usual, I will be focusing on the Green Sea. These are four representative cities of the Green Sea.
1. Khassesa
PIctured Above: The major cities of Apuna, Khassesa is in red
Pictured Above: The Occupied Regions of Apuna.
Pictured Above: The City of Khessa
Khassesa is an Apunian city which sits on the Putla Delta and the shore of the Green Sea. Apunian cities are divided into districts called heps. A particularly interesting aspect of Khassesa and of other Apunian cities is The Sullied Market. Sullied Markets are the location where objects and services thought to be improper or unholy are purchased. This can include anything from slaves ( slaves are legal but their sale in the city is prohibited) to the service of sages ( magic can only be used for religious or royal purposes when inside the city proper.) Apuna is a unified kingdom with a single Fapacha who moves from city to city throughout the year. When the Fapacha is not in Khassesa the palace is occupied by a chosen administrator.
2. Fifna
Pictured Above: The cities of Kishetal, Fifna is in red.
Pictured Above: The City-States of Kishetal and their territories
Pictured Above: The Kishic City of Fifna
Fifna is an example of a Kishic coastal city, though not as prosperous as its northern neighbor, Chibal, Fifna is quite wealthy. The area inside of the wall is reserved for The Great Market and the homes of the elite. The majority of the population of cities like Fifna live outside of the wall. Labisaj is an exception to this as its three walls actually encompass its commoner dwellings. Kishic cities typically include temple districts which may hold dozens of temples and shrines. The city of Fifna has 19 temples each dedicated to a separate deity.
3. Arginkolis
Pictured Above: Major Korithian city-states, Arginkolis is in red.
Pictured Above: The territories of the major Kishic city-states.
Picture Above: The City of Arginkolis
Korithia is a land of city-states called kolisai. The wealthiest of these is Arginkolis, named for the silver mines which gave the city its great wealth. Korithian cities are divided into districts called Tomes. Tomes are typically marked by specific features. In Arginkolis the Manati Tome is quite simply, the harbor tome, the Rilo Tome is the Tome of the Sun, named for the theater of the sun god, Rilios. The elite district and the administrative district is called the Silver Tome (Argin Tome).
4. Scatadaidh
Pictured Above: The Major towns and cities of Western Kallistera/Green Sea
Pictured Above: The Tribes and Kingdoms of the Western Green Sea/Kallistera
Pictured Above: The Tribal city of Scatadaidh, seat of the Scathi tribe.
Ikeni and the regions surrounding are far less populated than the lands of the eastern Green Sea. The majority, approximately 79% of people, live in communities of 200 or less. That last 21% lives in various cities and towns, the largest of which belong to the kingdoms in the south of Ikeni and on the isle of Dirsia. The largest tribal settlement is Scatadaidh, first founded by the Scathi chieftain, Nacmail. The region’s fertile soil and access to the Uphainn river allowed for a 8000 person population. The most striking feature of the city is the massive burial mound which hold the honored dead of the city. Upwards of 189 chieftains, nobles, and warriors have been buried in this massive earthen structure. Scathi Sages often commune with spirits atop the grass covered mound.

My MC, Narul
I found my old notepad and on a whim decided to sketch the MC for my WIP, Testaments of the Green Sea. I am kinda rusty when it comes to drawing, tbh I haven’t just sat down and drawn something in months. But I’m hoping that now I can get back to drawing. BTW, the next part of my folkstory, Seha and the Golden Trout should hopefully be up tomorrow, I just keep forgetting about it, oops.
Here is some info about Narul. I posted this stuff before but I know how easily stuff can disappear
Some facts about Narul
-Narul is a forestfolk, that is to say, the descendent of a group of people physically changed by the effects of wild magic. Forestfolk are incredibly varied. Narul appears to be mostly human, save for his size and strength. Other forestfolk may be almost unrecognizable.
-Narul is a massive man, supernaturally so. At 8’10” and quite large besides that. He is so large that the slave quarters had to be reconstructed just to fit him. His fingers are too big for most delicate tasks, and he is rather clumsy. Additionally, as a result of his heritage, he is inhumanly strong, a fact of which he is keenly aware and fears.
-Because of his condition, Narul must undergo weekly bloodletting treatments to keep the magic inside of him at bay
-Narul is currently a slave in the palace of Hutbari, king of Labisaj where he is marched around either as a bodyguard or as a sort of freak.
-Narul is adopted, his original mother was a priestess of the goddess Sonma, his father was an unknown forestfolk. His adopted mother is a slave woman named Bira
-His best and only close friend, is his adoptive brother, Suru
-“The Pabaket's eyes locked on the figure behind Hutbari, and he was momentarily dumbstruck. The slave was towering and robust, head, shoulders, and chest, over anyone else in the room. His skin was like dulled copper, slightly darker than the various Labisaji nobles, if only because of his many hours in the sun. He was not so delicately and exquisitely proportioned as the statues of gods and kings that guarded the temples. He was far more brutish in his build, with large rough hands, a broad face with thick brows, and wide powerful shoulders. His bare chest was hairy, his jaw and head covered with a thick beard and neck-length curling black hair.” - Excerpt from Chapter 1 describing Narul.
-Because of his size and strength, Narul has the potential to be quite dangerous to normal humans, as he has been repeatedly reminded of since his childhood. This has led to severe anxiety and a poor sense of self-esteem for the young (23) slave. Though he has had crushes on several men and women in the palace and beyond, he is too fearful of his own strength to commit himself to a relationship. Even if he wasn’t, he is painfully awkward when it comes to talking to people he may like
-While his gruff appearance frightens most that meet him, he is incredibly tender-hearted and not a particularly adventurous person, much to the constant bemusement of his much wilder and smaller brother, Suru.
-Bisexual Disaster XXXL, his first crush was on a young lord at Hutbari’s palace. When he attempted to approach the lord and express his feelings, the man, being half Narul’s size, was terrified as he believed that the stammering and muttering giant was planning on eating him. The lord fled in fear, leaving a stunned Narul standing in the palace courtyard. The same lord would later lose his title after deserting the battlefield during a skirmish with Macurian raiders;
Narul’s second attempt to approach a crush, in this case, a young seamstress, ended much the same. The blows to Narul’s self-esteem from these particular encounters have had a lasting effect on the young slave. He has not approached anyone about romantic feelings since as he feels he will scare them.
-As with most commoners, he is completely illiterate, though he can count
-His favorite color is orange, like the hasir flowers which decorate the streets during the fall festivals
-The last time Narul was outside of the walls of Labisaj was when he was an infant
- Narul is surprisingly pious, if only because he worries the gods may punish him more than they seemingly already have. He will leave coins or scraps of food at the shrine of Jalbaba, patron god of forestfolk and spirits. This is one of the smaller and less respected shrines in the city. The patron of the city is the mountain goddess, Humbalibal
-His favorite food is a kind of barley cake called kipsha. Kipsha can be sweet or savory, with the most popular variety and Narul’s favorite, being smothered in honey, chopped figs, and black pepper
-Narul enjoys performances that can be viewed at festivals. Though he remembers all of the lines and jokes of the most popular poems and plays, they still make him cry and laugh. He is particularly interested in romance.

Pictured Above: An Environmental Map of Kobani, the Green Sea is located to the east of the Kronatic Ocean
https://www.imagineforest.com/blog/world-building-questions/
13.What is the main continent in this world?
I’m not entirely sure what this question is asking. The main continent? Kobani is a world of many places and peoples each with their own unique cultures and historties. The largest and most populous continent is Kalimacia (Kallistera/Macia). The Testaments of the Green Sea is set in Kalimacia and Northern Pyritia. For the purposes of this story, though they are filled with many diverse and advanced cultures, Tarinia, Ulania, and Zudia are not relevant to the story.
A List of the Peoples and Cultures of Kallistera at the Time of Narul (Most Significant, Listed in no specific order) Significant Forestfolk (or human-adjacent) cultures are bold. This is by no means an exhaustive list and many more peoples exist even in the three continents listed.

Narul
Howdy, everyone! Not sure how many of you are gonna see this, but I thought I would introduce you all to the MC of my WIP, Testaments of the Green Sea, a fantasy story inspired by the world of the Bronze Age Near East.
-Narul is a forestfolk, that is to say, the descendent of a group of people physically changed by the effects of wild magic. Forestfolk are incredibly varied
-Because of his condition, Narul must undergo weekly treatments to keep the magic inside of him at bay
-Narul is currently a slave in the palace of Hutbari, king of Labisaj where he is marched around either as a bodyguard or as a sort of freak
-Narul is adopted, his original mother was a priestess of the goddess Sonma, his father is unknown. His adopted mother is a slave woman named Bira
-His best and only close friend, is his adoptive brother, Suru
-Narul is a massive man, supernaturally so. At 8’9” and quite large besides that. He is so large that the slave quarters had to be reconstructed just to fit him. His fingers are too big for most delicate tasks, and he is rather clumsy. He is additionally, as a result of his heritage, inhumanly strong, a fact of which he is keenly aware and fears.
His bare chest was hairy, his jaw and head covered with a thick beard and neck-length curling black hair.” - Excerpt from Chapter 1
-Bisexual Disaster XXXL
-As with most commoners, he is completely illiterate, though he can count
-His favorite color is orange, like the haasir flowers which decorate the streets during festivals
-His favorite food is a kind of fried barley cake called kipsha. Kipsha can be sweet or savory, with the most popular variety and Narul’s favorite, being smothered in honey, chopped figs, and black pepper
-Narul enjoys the performances that can be viewed at the festivals. Though he remembers all of the lines and jokes of the most popular poems and plays, they still make him cry

Day 16 Kobani Worldbuilding Question
Pictured Above: A section of the outer wall of the City-State of Shepra. Most Kishic cities have such wall, some cities including Labisaj have multiple walls.

BTW! If you see this post and are curious about Kobani and the story that this setting revolves around, stop by my blog and see the pinned comment. I posted earlier today but I think it may have slipped through the cracks.
16. What are buildings like?
The Architecture of the Green Sea
Architecture is highly dependent on the region you are looking at. For the purposes of this post I will keep my attention to the areas surrounding the Green Sea. In this post I will address the architecture of four different regions.
1. Makora, Etusia, Southern Konlun, and Ikeni
In the heavily forested tribal areas of the continent of Kallistera, structures are almost entirely composed of wood and thatch with stone being reserved for monoliths and the construction of tombs. Most homes are made by their owners, then being passed down to children. Some Makoran homes are centuries old, being constantly repaired as it is passed through the generations. This close familial connection with the home means that in the event a home is destroyed say in a fire or storm, the family will grieve as if at the death of a family member. Animals, typically sheep will be sacrificed to the spirit of the home, and all male members of the household will shave their mustaches. In Ikeni, Konlun, and Etsuia houses most often take a rounded shape, somewhat reminiscent of an upside down cone. Makoran’s on the other hand prefer rectangular or semi-circular structures often built with an A-frame.
Pictured Above: (Top Left) An Etusian home, (Top Right) A Makoran home, this example is 75 years old, (Bottom) The interior of an Ikeni burial mound, this particular one was made for a chieftainess of the Scathi tribe.
2. Korithia
Moving south from the southern coast of Kallistera wooden structures start to become less common, though of the great powers (Kishetal, Korithia, Apuna, and Shabala) Korithia does have the highest proportion of wooden structures particularly in the north. Much of Korithian architecture is inherited from the older Arkodian tradition. This is most clear in the south where the massive Arkodian palace complexes have been converted into their own villages and cities. Korithian houses very from small one room shacks to large mansions and estates that may contain upwards of forty rooms, the majority of Korithians living in cities live in apartment like complexes known as bokus. Northern cities tend to be heavily fortified partially partially do to a history of conflict with Makora. Korithian city walls are built to protect not only from other Korithians, Ikopeshi and Baalic raiders and pirates but also the incursion of various monsters and beasts.
Pictured Above: (Left) The central citadel and temple district of the northern city of Parutakolis. (Right) the former Arkodian palace of Sokatari, now converted into the village of Sokara. Many of the rooms have been converted into homes or bokus.
3. Kishetal
Of the four regions that this addresses Kishetal may exhibit the most architectural diversity. City-States in the east around the Red Cedar Mountains tend to have much higher occurrences of wood and stone in their architecture. Labisaj is sometimes known as the City of Stone. In the northwest of the country near Chibal and Bura imported marble from Makora and Northern Korithia appears in palaces and temples. As with Korithia houses vary wildly in size. Most live in small 2 or three room structures, though those with wealth live in much larger and more intricate structures. Areas around bodies of water use reeds, often as a form of roofing. In some regions such as Seha houses may be made entirely from reeds. The most magnificent reed structures come from region controlled by Nabi where celebratory structures known as nalum, are used to host various events like weddings. In Labisaj houses are often take the form a large warren like complexes where people can move from house to house or over the flat rooftops. In the Kipsian desert regions houses are often cone like structures made from clay and hardened mud. Mudbrick is the construction material of choice throughout most of Kishetal. Kishic palaces and temples are often multi-structure affairs with homes, granaries, craftsmen, etc. In essence Kishic temple or palace functions as its own miniature city.
Pictured Above: (Top Left) The Palace of Labisaj. (Top Right) A Kipsian village. (Bottom Left) The warren-like houses of Labisaj. (Bottom Right) A Nabic nalum.
4. Apuna
Apunian architecture is primarily built on the use of mudbrick and limestone. Timber worthy trees are rare in the desert, as such wood is a very rare and valuable commodity. Wood is used for the creation of beams in large multi-storied houses. For those that cannot afford this luxury, houses tend to small domed structures similar to those of the Kipsian Kishic people. The houses of the elite may include luxuries like pools, gardens, and sage rooms where wealthy Apunians receive magical cosmetic treatments from plantbrews and sages. Apunian civilization is almost entirely confined to the shores of the Putla river, with the desert being only very sparsely occupied by nomadic groups. Apunian kings or Fapacha’s are renowned for their massive underground tombs. Labryinth like mazes carved into the stone of the desert are meant to deter robbers from breaching the tombs. Often these tombs include artificial rivers and depictions of the night sky. Hundreds of workers are required to excavate these huge structures. Apunian palaces are relatively small compared to their neighbors to the north, however they are no less luxurious. It is common practice for new Fapacha to dismantle and reconstruct palaces to better suit their own preferences after taking the throne. The grand palace at Nashawey is the one exception. The palace at Nashawey is unique in that it is primarily constructed from stone rather than mudbrick.

Day 14 Kobani Worldbuilding Question
Pictured Above: The Eastern Wall of the Kishic city of Shepra
https://www.imagineforest.com/blog/world-building-questions/
14. How many major cities are there?
Below are the 10 largest and most prosperous cities of the Green Sea. Larger cities exist outside of the Green Sea like the massive metropolises of Mi Qin and Sinru.
Labisaj: Labisaj is the largest of the Kishic City-State, in the era of the unified Kishic empire Labisaj was the capital. Labisaj lies on the southern shore of Lake Shebali and has historically held dominance of the lake.
Chibal: The Kishic City of Chibal is the the largest trading port in the Green Sea. Chibal is also amongst the richest city-states in the Green Sea.
Nashawey: Nashawey is the seat of power in Apuna, home of the divine ruler of the kingdom, the Fapacha. Nashawey lies at a curve of the Great Putla River.
Arginkolis: Arginkolis is a Korithian city built in the ruins of the older Arkodian city, Miseni. Arginkolis is named for its prosperous silver mines which have allowed the City-State to achieve a position of power in Korithia.
Khassesa: Khassesa is the second largest Apunian city after Nashawey and the largest city in the Putla delta. In a sense Khassesa is the Apunian equivalent of Chibal.
Akhadia: Akhadia is the capital of Shabala, it is said that Akhadia is the oldest city in all of the Green Sea. The founder of Labisaj and by extension of the Kishic people, Tamel, was born in Akhadia.
Parutakolis: Parutakolis is the oldest continuously inhabited city in Korithia having been founded in the era of Arkodia. Parutakolis is the rival of Arginkolis and is heavily reliant on its slave trade.
Xhart: Xhart is the largest of the Namutian cities and seat of the Xharta tribe. Xhart is renowned for its sprawling temple complex, the temple of Jur.
Jubzat: Jubzat is the largest city west of Khassesa and indeed the third largest city in northern Pyritia after Nashawey and Khassesa. Jubzat is actually a conglomeration of three cities each with their own government and history, Jutat, Torut, and Kathato.
Turan: Turan is the oldest and largest of the City-States of Baalkes. It is not clear where the people of Baalkes and Turan first came from, the three predominate folk tales list Arkodia, Jezaan, or Pyritia as the origins of the Baalkics. In truth, the people of Baalkes descend from all three.

Day 8 Kobani Worldbuilding Question
https://www.imagineforest.com/blog/world-building-questions/
8. Which force is dominant, science, religion, or magic?
Of course, this varies from place to place, but in the instance of the Kishic city of Labisaj, all three act largely in unison. Sages typically inhabit the city temples alongside the priests and priestesses, and both are, in turn regularly visited by the city apothecaries and medicine-folk, the plantbrews.
For the average person without access to the magic of the Sages or the herbs and potions of plantbrews, religion is typically the most dominant aspect of their lives.
