#La Pamelita

Since the holiday season is upon us, I began decorating my place before the snow hits. I love the myths of Krampus, Perchta, La Befana, and every other dark creature from the side of Christmas we don’t get to see here in the U.S. So I decided to take my Halloween decorations and change it up to use again for Christmas, or should I say “Creepmas”?! I also want to create my own holiday creature from a Latino perspective. I present to you, Pamelita!

La Pamelita is a winter ghost who journeys through the homes of every Latino in the world and gives well behaved children delicious foods and wood for the fire to keep them warm ( or probably extra money for the heat bill, whatever you prefer), meanwhile for those who misbehave she envokes El Diablo Cojuelo (I’m Dominican so I wanted to have a latino counterpart to Krampus and I think he’d be perfect) for him to whip! I’ll probably do some art for this now that I am inspired!😆

✨ Pues limpié completamente toda mi casa, vi algunas películas que desde hace años quería ✅ de mis listas, me animé a comprar el cartón que había querido desde nov del año pasado y, lo que más hice fue, pasar tiempo con mi familia. 🩷

No sé si aún quieras las recomendaciones 🧍🏻‍♀️ pero It Follows, La Nuit a Dévoré le Monde, The Dark and the Wicked y The Medium (esta última de Banjong Pisanthanakun) son excelentes. ✨

Personajes de cómics de Chile. Dibuje a los personajes de cómics de chile, también los pinte. Me faltaron algunos otros como Curiman y Santómas. Ah y el maestro Gato. xD A los superhéroes Kao el hombre milagroso y el Meteoro, tuve que pensar que colores ponerles, porque no hay registro de como eran a color, bueno meteoro su polera era algo rojiza, pero lo demás... Mi idea principal era dibujar una portada Fanfics de superheroes de chile al estilo @marvel o @dccomics , pero al final terminé agregando personajes típicos de Chile. Los personajes que dibujé son: Capitán Jupiter, Puklin (tenía pensado dibujar a Ojenok, aquí la embarré). Supervaca, Chileno cavernicola de daslav, Von Pilsener, Black de formador, El hombre cordillera, The ulimate male, Jack Killer, Rodrigo el sicario, El gran guaren, Pamelita y su perrito, el brujo, Máximo, ovejas negras el tanque, Xiena de Nonno, Anarko de Jucca, el compadre moncho, Condorito, Pepe Antartico de percy eaglehurst, Erick de puas en la hojarasca de Matías Palma, Zobaco cómic, el de la eme roja no me acuerdo como se llama, juan buscamares, Capitan Chile de Tec, Ranok y Ayayema de Mitomanocómics, Superciefuentes, Ogú y Mampato, Korvo de editorial CK, Cobre de Codelco, Diablo, Capitán Araucanía, Super Chile, Rakatan, Meteoro, Galvarino, Kao el hombre milagroso, Mirageman y el pseudo robin. Ayer tuve una muy reconfortante visita de una ex alumna, pero sobretodo amiga, han pasado los años y el respeto y cariño se mantienen, mi Pamelita formó parte de mi faceta como maestra , fui parte de su formación y hoy verla como sigue realizándose me llena de orgullo, ver en la joven madre madura que es al lado de la pequeña que conocí hace muchos años y hoy es una señorita me hace pensar que las mujeres somos recontraguerreras! 2017 | Diciembre -Pamelita- Hace poco más de un año invité a un grupo de personas a ser parte del equipo de fotografía en Antioquía. Dentro de ellos iba una pequeña jovencita, algo temerosa por la falta de conocimiento e insegura de ser parte ya que era la más joven. Ahora, ha formando un equipo que dirige en su campus (Torreón), y me encanta ver lo tanto que ha crecido.
