My friend suggested that I redraw the painting "La Belle Dame sans Merci" with Aruemien and she rewrite piece of the ballad so it'll be about them, well, them in au. (unfortunately, I’m not as talented as her to translate her work into English, but you can search for the original or read it in Russian here - vk link.) Anyway... Desnans are again stealing the horses, that's so hilarious :D

So long story short: the lyrics are telling the story of a fairy who lured a knight deep into the forest and… then nothing good happened to him. Sadly. Don't trust fairies I guess!

The title suggests that, actually. From French to English it's "The beautiful lady without mercy". Before I knew that I always looked at that painting and was like "Awww, what a beautiful love story". NO! Take a closer look - It's his horse, his helmet! Aaaa! She's stealing the horse!!! And by his pose he's clearly in shock - he's not expecting this flirting (or what she's doing... looks like she leans in for a kiss and teases not giving it), his arm stretches the reins while the horse is already going and this throws him off balance! The damn fairy throws him off balance and stealing his horse!!! (... And no kiss!)
