yea that's how it feels. I've been here since 2014 as well, and every time someone says a track from WUS was their introduction to ATL I still get a little floored. Realistically, I know they gained a lot of new fans from WUS to now. I used to think, "man. I wish I had known them sooner like everyone else" even though without Tumblr I never would've known of them at all 😂 .. I just hope the new fans stick around like we have.
I mean it does make sense I guess, Monsters was pretty popular and younger people surely couldn't have been around earlier. But I get it, it's so weird to think people's first song wasn't even released when you started listening to them!
Yeah same! But that might just be the fact that I really got into them the week after they toured Future Hearts here 🙈😂 oh I definitely knew them from Tumblr! But there was a huge shitstorm going on at the time and I didn't fully listen to them until someone wholeheartedly recommended me to listen to them (kudos to this person fr)
