#LSAW Day 2: Throwback

We saw some amazing work for our first day of LSAW today! Wonderful art and edits and moodboards channeling her unique sense of humour and vibrant spirit. We just can't wait to see what gems you all have in store for us!

Tomorrow will be Day 2 of our Lily Spencer Appreciation Week, and we're super excited to see what you all have in store for us this week.

Our first theme is Throwback, where you can share content you've made previously on Lily! If you like, you can also reblog the work with commentary on how it came to be, and your process in creating it!

Our second theme relates more to the overall theme of Bloodbound and its sister series, Nightbound. The Supernatural! Lily is familiar enough with the dark net that she's able to remember the rumours she has heard about supernatural events and sightings, some of which she learns is accurate when Adrian and the MC team up to Turn her. She enters this world as a baby vampire, and grows and learns in the process. At the end she is even central to the uniting of the regular world and the supernatural one.

Any and all content is welcome during this week - fanfic, fanart, headcanons, meta, edits, moodboards, interactive media, even screenshots of your favourite Lily scenes!! Our only requirement is that the pieces should focus on Lily and present a positive depiction of her. WIPs and Throwback pieces are also more than welcome!

You can send pieces during any day of the week (not necessarily just the day of the theme) but do specify which day you meant the piece for!! We will keep a bonus week open for any pending entries too. Our rough deadline for entries will be July 21st. You can still send entries after the date and it will still be put up in the masterlist - this date is mostly for us to make the thank you video! Otherwise we will be open for entries until the next event, which means we will accept entries all year!!

I'd call this a half-way throwback lol. So years ago, I drew this picture of Lily. So I thought I'd redraw it. But then I sketched it out and I could bare to leave it in black and white so here we are. She has her fangs out so I hit the Supernatural prompt lol. PB really should've given her Shadow Den look more love. It's definitely my favorite outfit of hers.

Get ready for our second edition of Lily Spencer Appreciation Week!!

Last year, we kicked off Halloween with this week. This year, we celebrate Lily's love for gaming by hosting it on Video Game Day - July 8th!

Smart, funny, sexy, resilient...there are a whole range of words one could use to describe Lily. She is the bright spot in a story that can turn very dark very fast. She's also brave and willing to fight for people with less privilege, as we can clearly see from the way she chooses to be part of the Shadow Den rather than any of the Clans in BB1.

We hope you can join us in celebrating this wonderful character! Here are our themes for the days during the week:

We are midway through our appreciation week! It's been wonderful seeing all these amazing bursts of creativity from you all. Such beautiful art and edits and headcanons...we almost can't believe we're on our final two days of this AW!

We're now going to be on our final day of the AW, Day 5! This one has only one theme - The Shadow Den. The home Lily never thought she'd find, the people she considered her people.

The Shadow Den touches at an essential core of Lily's personality, that makes her who she is - her sense of justice. She doesn't just see outcasts when she sees the members of this community...she sees people who did not have the benefits she got. And she chooses at the end of BB1 to be with them and help them alongside Jax!

There are many different ways one can interpret this theme, and we welcome them all!

Day 2 has been amazing! Loved seeing all the amazing pieces all of you are putting forward. It's been incredible and fun and we can't wait to see what you bring forward next.

Day 3 has two pretty great themes! Our first is Pop Culture, named - of course - for the many pop culture references that Lily's dialogue is well-known for. She often finds comfort in a flippant reference or a smart hilarious comment, even at the toughest of times. And pop culture is very much a part of that.

Our second theme is Missing Moments! As roommates and best friends, there are a lot of things Lily and the MC enjoy doing together, but this is about Lily's life, friends, activities and hobbies which the MC doesn't get to see when she's off doing her own thing. Like what was Lily's experience at the Shadow Den like? Or what did she and Kamilah do when the MC went with Adrian and Jax to Paris? This theme is about exploring Lily in those missing moments that were only implied in canon.

Welcome to our very first Lily Spencer Appreciation Week!! A very happy Halloween to every one and we can't think of a better way to kickstart this week 💖💖

Our theme for Day 1 is Halloween - a festival that would be well known in the universe of Bloodbound, and that Lily Spencer (pioneer of werewolf fanfic) would absolutely love! Lily's love for the supernatural predates her Turning, and after recovering from the shock of becoming a vampire she tells the MC about the things she learned on the dark web about such creatures. On this day, it would be great to celebrate Lily's love for the supernatural!!

We're now down to our last 2 days of LSAW! So happy to see the wonderful work you all have been creating so far!! It's been amazing seeing the artwork, the edits, the appreciation for Lily and her story 💖💖💖

Day 4 is all about Lily the Baby Vampire! Most of the vampires we encounter in the beginning (even Jax) are people who have spent a considerable amount of time existing as vampires, becoming more and more jaded and world weary as time passes. Lily is especially unique in this story for being the first person whose evolution as a vampire we see in real time, rather than in flashbacks and memories. On this day, it would be great to focus on her first days, months, years as a vampire.

Any and all content is welcome during this week - fanfic, fanart, headcanons, meta, edits, moodboards, interactive media, even screenshots of your favourite Lily scenes!! Our only requirement is that the pieces should focus on Lily and present a positive depiction of her. WIPs and Throwback pieces are also more than welcome!

You can send pieces during any day of the week (not necessarily just the day of the theme) but do specify which day you meant the piece for!! We will keep a bonus week open for any pending entries too. Our rough deadline for entries will be Nov 10th. We're already halfway through our week! Love all the entries we've been getting so far and really can't wait to see what you all have in store for us!!

For Day 3, we have two themes!

Our first theme is Throwback! It's pretty simple - if you have any old pieces you'd like to share, you can reblog them for the week. And if you'd like, you can even take us through the process of how you made the piece. Here's a template you can use in case you would like a little help in that.

Our second theme is Lily from Wisconsin! In her first diamond scene, Lily tells us about how she grew up as a "geeky bi girl from Wisconsin". This not only tells us where she comes from, but highlights how she was a regular woman living her life before Gaius and Jameson put her life in danger in order to get the MC further involved in the vampire world. This is a way to reimagine Lily, what her life used to be like, her origins!
