#LSAW Day 1: Video Games

Welcome to our second edition of the Lily Spencer Appreciation Week!! We got such amazing responses last year, and can't wait to see what everyone has in store for us this year!

This time, we have held the event around National Video Game Day, which is on July 8th. Lily is a gamer and pop-culture enthusiast, and her multiple references to numerous video games brightens up the whole story!

Our second theme for Day 1 is Character Appreciation, and as the title suggests - anything goes! You can tell us your favourite moments featuring Lily, explore what makes her tick as a character, present headcanons about the things BB leaves unexplored about her.

Any and all content is welcome during this week - fanfic, fanart, headcanons, meta, edits, moodboards, interactive media, even screenshots of your favourite Lily scenes!! Our only requirement is that the pieces should focus on Lily and present a positive depiction of her. WIPs and Throwback pieces are also more than welcome!

You can send pieces during any day of the week (not necessarily just the day of the theme) but do specify which day you meant the piece for!! We will keep a bonus week open for any pending entries too. Our rough deadline for entries will be July 21st. You can still send entries after the date and it will still be put up in the masterlist - this date is mostly for us to make the thank you video! Otherwise we will be open for entries until the next event, which means we will accept entries all year!!

Made this moodboard for Day 1. I really do love how invested she is in gaming and how those references tend to seep into her everyday language. I know I tend to do that a lot with a lot of media I sink into, so I relate heavily to that. Lily just feels like the kind of person who will do deep dives into whatever areas of interest she has, but in a unique way because she also doesn't take herself too seriously.

I decided to kick off this Lily appreciation week by drawing Lily doing some late-night gaming. This picture gives me pre-Turning vibes, where Bloodbound MC has just wandered into the living room for a midnight snack and seen Lily gaming away.

Get ready for our second edition of Lily Spencer Appreciation Week!!

Last year, we kicked off Halloween with this week. This year, we celebrate Lily's love for gaming by hosting it on Video Game Day - July 8th!

Smart, funny, sexy, resilient...there are a whole range of words one could use to describe Lily. She is the bright spot in a story that can turn very dark very fast. She's also brave and willing to fight for people with less privilege, as we can clearly see from the way she chooses to be part of the Shadow Den rather than any of the Clans in BB1.

We hope you can join us in celebrating this wonderful character! Here are our themes for the days during the week:

* By "relationships", we mean both platonic and romantic.

** By "missing moments" we mean scenes that weren't shown from the MC's perspectives and are only implied, eg. what did Lily and Kamilah do when the MC travelled with Adrian and Jax to Paris?

Any and all content is welcome!! Fic, art, edits, moodboards, gifs, meta, headcanons... everything goes! Our only requirement is that the pieces should be centered around Lily, and feature her in a positive way. WIPs and Throwback pieces are also welcome.

We've had some lovely, spooktastic entries for Day 1 of LSAW! It's amazing to see everyone get into the Halloween spirit and spread love for Lily at the same time 🤗🤗

It's now Day 2, dedicated to Lily the Gamer! Lily is known for her love for video games and pop culture media, and is most known for her ability to use those references when she speaks to people. Her comic abilities and fun nature make these dialogues a joy to read!
