Alright this technically isn't on the Commander ask list, but I still think about your art of Scarlet Briar and Mai Trin all the time so here's a bonus question if you want it: how does your Commander feel about them? Has his opinion changed over time?
No problem anon! Thanks for giving me an excuse to blurb about the pirate gfs :)
For Scarlet Briar, Wysma was never her fan. While killing her during LS1 was cathartic and, dare I say, deserved, LS2 turned his sense of victory upside down. It was uncomfortable facing the fact that Scarlet had a whole life before where she wasn’t Scarlet. She was just Ceara, a Sylvari with an endless curiosity about the world.
With the reveal about Mordremoth, Wysma now sees Scarlet as an unfortunate instance of life's cruelty, like putting down a rabid dog. Scarlet was a villain, but Ceara was a victim of circumstance.
Mai Trin reminds him of Scarlet, actually. In LS1, she was just an obstacle on his way to Scarlet, another villain willing to murder innocents for power. When she escaped into the mists with the Aetherblades, Wysma wasn’t bothered much. So her return in EoD, depressed and vulnerable, desperate to prove herself worthy to nobody in particular and clinging onto Joon and Wysma... it was a confusing time. Again, he’s confronting the fact that Mai Trin is a victim of her own bad decisions. He feels sorry for her—sorry for what happened to her, and sorry that death was her fate despite her struggles, and that she never got the time to make up for her past crimes despite her genuine want for redemption.
He doesn’t think Mai Trin's sacrifice absolves her of her murders, nor does he think Scarlet didn't deserve what she got, but he still thinks it’s a loss of potential. Ceara and Mai Trin should have gotten the chance to be something more than what they ended up being, is all.

For Luqqah! 1, 8, 14, 18! (- @astralarias)
Hi thank you for the questions!! Much appreciated <3
1. What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)?
This one's actually an interesting one for Luqqah because she is one of my very very rare characters that had at least a bit of backstory before I ever looked at any ingame customization options; and also the only character I created who had an established connection to one of my existing characters.
So her very first element was basically being Lahpp's unnamed ex-girlfriend for backstory purposes with no real impact on present events but... you know how it is, started thinking about the details more, she actually got a personality of her own, started tinkering with character customization to get a feeling for her looks... and when the recent LS1 episodes gave us the antitoxin glove skin the deal was sealed bc "I need a character for this armour skin".
8. What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story?
Her backstory isn't super relatable for me and character wise I actually strongly disagree with many of her values and ideals… not saying there isn't anything to be found at all but I can't think of anything on the spot!
So I gotta give a relatively superficial answer for this one, which would be her passion for music I guess! She goes about it a bit more hardcore than me (read: she actually knows what she's talking about) but nonetheless a shared hobby! I slap the music interest onto a lot of characters in one way or the other huh.
14. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?
A) She's ambitious to a fault (will walk over literal corpses to reach her goal) & B) she thinks she's doing the world a favour with it. Her ultimate medical breakthrough is going to save so many lives after all, all the sacrifices will be worth it in the end :)
18. What is the most recent thing you’ve discovered about your OC?
Okay this is actually a silly detail in her backstory and not super significant in the grand scale of her character / story at all but my girlfriend and I decided that she had a little... short-lived affair with one of my gf's characters (Inquisitor Dunnh) while she was still officially in a relationship with Lahpp.

Why The 1998 - 2002 Chevrolet Corvette C5 Is A Great Buy
by Dave Ashton
It’s easy to forget that the Chevrolet Corvette C5 was a cost-effective way to take on more highly fettled sports cars such as the Noble M12 GTO, BMW M3, TVR Tuscan or even the supercars of the day. At the time of release, the Chevrolet Corvette C5 was seen as a bit of a bargain in the performance world and still holds that criteria today. In today’s market, you’re still getting a lot of car for your money, with a unique look that is bound to turn heads.
The engine and stuff
First and foremost, let’s talk about the engine. The C5 debuted with an all-new 5.7-liter V8 engine, dubbed the LS1, which was rated at 345 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. This engine was a significant improvement over the C4’s engine and went on to be used in other high-performance vehicles at the time, such as the Camaro and Trans Am. The C5’s engine provides the car with an incredible amount of power, making it an absolute joy to drive. This was more than a surprise to most at the time, considering its design principles were still based on older principles. The engine could output 344bhp through a 6-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine block was now made from aluminium, providing an overall lighter weight to the car.
The engine management system gave a wide range of torque values. Adding in things like antiroll bars and switchable suspension gave the C5 plenty of options for the average user.
Design
Another notable feature of the C5 is its sleek and stylish exterior. The car is long, low, and lean, making it both attractive and aerodynamic. Its low center of gravity also contributes to its excellent handling, providing the driver with a more connected and engaging driving experience.
The C5 also comes with various technological features that were ahead of their time. For example, it was one of the first vehicles to have a head-up display (HUD) that projected essential information, such as speed and RPMs, onto the windshield. This allowed drivers to keep their eyes on the road while still accessing vital information. Also available as a targa-roofed coupe or a convertible model, with plenty of tech of the times such as the Twilight Sentinel system which automatically switched on the headlights in bad weather.
One potential concern for buyers considering the C5 is its age. After all, the car is over 20 years old at this point. However, it’s worth noting that the C5 was built to last. Its sturdy frame and reliable engine make it a durable car that can withstand the test of time. Additionally, the C5 has a large community that provides support and parts for maintenance and repairs.
In conclusion, the 2000 Chevrolet Corvette C5 is a car that’s still worth buying in 2023. With its powerful engine, advanced technology, and sleek exterior, it provides an excellent driving experience that’s both engaging and enjoyable. So, if you’re in the market for a classic car that’s still relevant today, the C5 is an excellent choice to consider.
How much is a C5 Corvette worth today?
Depending on the condition of the vehicle, a C5 Corvette can cost you around $25,000. that’s a lot of car considering its 345bhp can hit 170mph and do a 0-60mph time in 4.7 seconds. For the best experience, the 6 speed manual is the best option, although gear changes can be quite heavy-handed.
In total, you’re getting a lot for your money here with the C5 Corvette. Unique looks, a tried and tested powertrain, and a fantastic driving experience will definitely make you stand out from the crowd with this one.

The Ultimate Guide to the Corvette: History, Models, and Culture
Few cars have captured the hearts of enthusiasts quite like the Chevrolet Corvette. Known simply as the "Vette" to its fans, this iconic American sports car has a storied history that spans more than six decades. From its humble beginnings in the early 1950s to its status as a modern performance powerhouse, the Corvette has become a symbol of American automotive ingenuity and passion. In this blog, we'll take a deep dive into the history, models, and culture that make the Corvette so special.
A Brief History of the Corvette
The Corvette made its debut in 1953, introduced by General Motors at the New York Auto Show. The first-generation Corvette, known as the C1, was designed by Harley Earl and was America's answer to the sleek, sporty European roadsters of the time. Initially, it was available only as a convertible and featured a 150-horsepower inline-six engine. Despite its eye-catching design, the early models were not an immediate commercial success.
However, things began to change in 1955 when GM decided to equip the Corvette with a V8 engine. This move significantly boosted its performance and appeal. The C1 continued to evolve, culminating in the 1962 model, which introduced the 327-cubic-inch V8 engine and marked the end of the first generation.
The Generations of Corvette
C2 (1963-1967): The Sting Ray Era
The second generation, known as the C2, introduced the legendary "Sting Ray" name and featured a completely redesigned body with a distinctive split rear window (on the 1963 model). The C2 Corvette offered improved handling and performance, making it a true competitor in the sports car market. With engines ranging from a 327 V8 to the powerful 427 V8, the Sting Ray cemented the Corvette's reputation as a high-performance machine.
C3 (1968-1982): The Longest-Running Generation
The third generation, or C3, Corvette is the longest-running model in the car's history. It featured a more aggressive and aerodynamic design inspired by the Mako Shark II concept car. The C3 saw a wide range of engines and performance packages, including the introduction of the iconic ZR1 in 1970. Despite facing challenges such as the oil crisis and increasing emissions regulations, the C3 remained popular and evolved with the times.
C4 (1984-1996): Modernization and Performance
The fourth-generation Corvette, or C4, marked a significant departure from its predecessors in terms of design and technology. With a focus on aerodynamics and handling, the C4 featured a completely new chassis and suspension system. It also introduced the digital dashboard, which was quite futuristic for its time. The C4 ZR-1, introduced in 1990, became a performance benchmark with its LT5 engine developed in collaboration with Lotus.
C5 (1997-2004): A Return to Form
The C5 generation brought substantial improvements in terms of performance, comfort, and reliability. With a new LS1 V8 engine, the C5 offered impressive power and efficiency. The introduction of the Z06 model in 2001 further enhanced the Corvette's performance credentials. The C5's success on the track and in sales solidified its place in the automotive world.
C6 (2005-2013): Refined Power
Building on the success of the C5, the C6 generation focused on refining the Corvette's design and performance. The C6 featured a more compact and lightweight design, along with improved aerodynamics. The introduction of the 505-horsepower Z06 and the supercharged ZR1 in 2009 showcased the Corvette's ability to compete with the world's best supercars.
C7 (2014-2019): The Stingray Returns
The C7 generation marked the return of the "Stingray" name and featured a bold new design that combined modern aesthetics with classic Corvette elements. The C7 introduced advanced technology and driver aids, making it the most capable and user-friendly Corvette to date. The Z06 and ZR1 variants continued to push the boundaries of performance, with the latter boasting a staggering 755 horsepower.
C8 (2020-Present): A Mid-Engine Revolution
The current-generation Corvette, the C8, represents the most significant change in the car's history. For the first time, the Corvette features a mid-engine layout, which dramatically improves its handling and performance. The C8 Stingray, powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine, offers supercar performance at a relatively affordable price. The introduction of the C8 Z06 and upcoming ZR1 models promises to take the Corvette to new heights.
Corvette Culture and Community
The Corvette isn't just a car; it's a way of life for many enthusiasts. Corvette clubs and events can be found across the United States and around the world. From local car meets to the annual Corvette Caravan and the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, there's a vibrant community of Vette fans who share their passion for this iconic sports car.
Corvette culture also extends to motorsports. The Corvette Racing team has achieved numerous victories in endurance racing, including multiple wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This success on the track has further solidified the Corvette's reputation as a high-performance machine.
Conclusion
The Corvette has come a long way since its introduction in 1953. From the early days of the C1 to the groundbreaking C8, each generation has contributed to the legacy of this iconic American sports car. Whether you're a lifelong fan or a newcomer to the world of Corvettes, there's no denying the impact and allure of the Vette. With its rich history, diverse models, and passionate community, the Corvette continues to capture the hearts of automotive enthusiasts around the globe.

And he wants to do this car in a kit and it's just like the Ford GT40 this is the Corvette this is like a c3 or something but the c7 or c8 is the same front end and that's what matters everybody wants a Corvette then again everybody wants to Ford GT 40 and no one can afford the Ford and we're not making that many Corvettes cuz we're stupid and really these things are fast and his stats will be different but the Chevy can go with a Chevy and the Ford can go with the Ford well that's not how they do it but this is intense what an idea and I would do a cut and I agree with it and we can start right away right now and nobody even knows where the hell they are or if they exist anymore and that's crap he used to see a few now he sees one once a month I mean it's dog due everyone's driving s***** cars and he says it's going to get worse and he can make it to sell the state which is what he wants to do solid state practically all of it to be used for a fly car the hole would work this ain't up to 3,000 which is not right but you can take it off and make the molds easier but really I understand what he's saying most of it would be like emitter proof because they change the electronics how to solid state and they don't have his reburner s*** and also the crap the exhaust is very simple and it's easy to fix the engines are a pain in the ass Tuesdays but boy would this be great so they're going to say what the stats are and we're going to have a meeting and we can he said we don't have a problem selling to our people that's that's not an issue if that's the stipulation and I don't think it's real smart to do it that way and we want to go inspire people doing it that's how you identify them and not too many at first but really we have trillions of people sitting in their stupid houses that are confident this will get them out there competent the confident too
Mac daddy
Okay we're talking about the Chevy Malibu again the base horsepower is about 220 ft pounds to 35 and the stats:
--0 to 60 in 3.2 seconds and it's slightly slower because it would be a little bit heavier because of the chassis
--quarter mile 6.8 seconds a teensy bit faster because of torque and horsepower combination
--top speed is faster and it is because of the motor it is instead of 420 of the Ford GT40 kit 480 if you did the cradle in the LS1 it is a mid-engine car at that point and the Malibu is in four wheel independent it would be 780 a little bit slower 10 mph both of these cars are extremely fast when you do it with a kit the reason is the weight is less they wait these things down with these have full cages and enclosures the GT has one no it's only a partial and it's lame and too dangerous and the Corvette has a partial to anastasis and most supercars like this this would solve the problem
Thor Freya
And I was thinking too this would solve the problem and it would be safe and you'd have safety equipment on top of it right now people are getting killed in these things are cheap and nobody wants to get one and this would change the world and I would be heading Ben would have to follow and he's saying that's fine and he can beat me because of the statistics and my grand nephew says it's because it looks a little hotter it's true too but that's his ladies car so Ben's going to get there she kicked out of me women and never notice it even though it's going to be a quadriplegic I'm going to try and do this I know what to say it's like a deal and we go ahead and start doing it and starts working somehow the Vader company is in North Carolina and we are there but the others are there too and they haven't closed their doors. We want to go ahead with this concept vehicle you need to have a V6 and you have to buy the whole kit that's the way to do it to keep it safe and so it works right and it's not going to be pricey aftermarket Corvette parts are everywhere everybody puts them in almost anything the kid itself will probably sell for 25 to 30 grand because the new car is 180,000 you can buy a brand new Malibu for $25 and put it together and it's not even it's a quarter of the price around I mean geez you can turn around and sell it for more money because it goes about 180 mph faster and they'll be famous quicker quick enough and I'll be making a bunch of money delivery we have that the whole right now is metal the shell is metal now it's not why it weighs more is they put a bunch of stupid things in it so I know what they're talking about I want to go ahead and try and get this going and I want partners from my group and his volunteering his mom because it's like the firebird and I don't know what she's scared for you can never ran near her and she says it's a drunk driver test so she wants to get involved and she's going to do it and he's going to get some sleep
Mac daddy
Me too this is an American company and I'm an American and it's our side of the family and Ken I don't know what he's doing we have to do the other side and he thinks that this car in the Corvette itself some problems been I don't know. Arnold then Arnold anyways we're talking to ben. And it's because of what Ken finds out with you so we probably want to do this
Biden
Yeah we want to do this I can't get these cars to my people and I own the company is fruitcakes want to make three a day or something I'm going to get them out of there cuz they're going to s*** everywhere but really I think that's true he's kind of thinking ahead a little you got a feeling of ken being very mad. He says he knows what to do they're going to try and steal them all day and night and it works for us we want to see that it's animal behavior they suck so damn bad they're so freaking stupid and that was Ken
Ben Arnold
He got to see it we can't get to the factories up yet they show up with armies of idiots we don't know what they're going to go down there with he shooters or nothing they're expecting them to fight and it'll still be here and it goes back to these mental patients it's a circle of stupidity

KLATRE LS1 True Bone Conduction Headphones Review + Mic Test
This month we got to test out the new KLATRE LS1 bone conduction headphones. Now this is the first time we have reviewed any kind of bone conduction tech and to be honest we didn't expect them to be heavy with bass of super high in volume, which after testing turned out to be true.
The audio, as clear as the clarity was, the Klatre LS1's will not shake your bones with any type of high volume music playback. Instead what they will do is keep your ear open to the outside world while still being able to provide average audio which i must say, its perfect for audio books or pod casts and light music.
To recharge the unit, it will only take an hour to fully recharge them which is super fast and with 10 minutes boost, you will be provided with 2 hours music playback boost. The built in microphones are not bad too, mic pickup is precise with latency not being a issue whatso ever.
To see the full review of the Klatre LS1 headphones, check out our YouTube review on our channel.

My commander, Nemogh, was actually kicked out of the Grove some time long before he became the Commander for unspecified crimes. (Though he's welcome again).
Side note: Yeah, I've taken a lot of liberties on altering some of the story to fit him better. He was never planned to be my Commander and he only comes into it starting around Heart of Thorns. And very unwillingly. I reckon it was someone else dealing with Zhaitan and LS1 which also conveniently matches the fact that I don't remember a lot of the Zhaitan arch and hadn't played LS1.
So he lived in Lion's Arch most of his time. Until he was recruited into the Aetherblades (just a lowly grunt with little idea of what was going on, an easy way out to escape his life of crime). Afterwards, he exiled himself to roam around the Shiverpeaks, mostly living in various inns, never staying too long.
Until he meets the guy (who I assume was the one dealing with Zhaitan. But I've got some revamping and renaming to do here). He eventually drags him back to LA where I'd say he does have a home. Although being the Commander and all, he still lives about in the world a lot, never staying too long in one place.
But on occasion, in between, he does reside in his home in Lion's Arch but it always feels weird. Like a different life. It's a shitty hole of a house from a different time.
Does anyone's Commander have a permanent residence? I'm thinking about Alba and how the Grove has never been his home, because he's lived in active warzones half his life, and spent the other half in those same places cleaning up post-war. The idea of dreamers terrace being "his" home is almost laughable. At most he may have laid his head there a night or two as a sapling. It's like if you couch surfed at your cousin's house twice in your youth and people later started calling it your house as a result.
Personally I view the home instances not as "where the Commander lives" or "Commander’s house" but as "a community the Commander is welcome to visit and stay in," i.e. that cousin you can couchsurf with temporarily, but I don't consider Alba as having any permanent residence and don't want him to honestly. 🧍♂️ But I'm curious to see if anyone else views it differently, i.e. does your comm live in one specific place, do they own a house or other residence, do they return there after every adventure, etc.

I’m really holding out for some small living world diversions when story starts up again after End of Dragons. There’s new world order political summits to attend but before we do can we have some light-hearted side stories about people in the world? Friends who want the legendary Commander’s help with some low-stakes local drama? Weird funny fallout from the changes in the world that isn’t an actual threat?
Here’s one you can have for free @guildwars2 because I want it: Chul-Moo partners with the Consortium to bring discount jade tech to Central Tyria. I imagine Xunlai being busy making sure their products are safe and stable first, and Chul-Moo and the Consortium seizing the advantage because neither of them care about that.
#gw2#Guild Wars 2#this feels like the perfect time to return to some season 1 style current events stories#back during LS1 someone said if we aren't fighting dragons it doesn't count as plot#well who's laughing now#living world

hmmm how about Braham and Trahearne
sorry to be so late on this! I rb'd that post and promptly crashed lol
Braham
First impression: "who is this kid and why is he in this life-or-death battle with me?" The reason for this is that despite him and I being around the same age, it never registered to me that he wasn't still like, a static unchanging 17 for several years. The way the world changes and ages in living story is so different from what I'm used to as someone who hasn't followed a lot of long-lived MMOs' plots. I also went through a lot of hiatus periods in and out of ls1 and ls2 so I dodn't follow the plot as closely as others, hahah.
Impression now: What a fine man. He's been through so much, and I really love the way (for the most part) the writing has allowed him to respond to stress and loss and betrayal and duty and growth in a way that feels really authentic and human.
Favorite moment: this is tough. he has a lot of good moments, but to just pick one, the cracking of the fang. There's a whole lot in that moment that's conveyed really well without words.
Idea for a story: I'd like to uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh rewrite the way the primordus stuff was handled. every single other dragon thus far has shown to be articulate and communicative, even though their motives and desires don't line up with our interests, and making primordus some brainless destruction beast was imo lazy writing, and the way that was used to turn braham (thankfully only temporarily) into an only half-cognizant being was gross and antithetical to his character arc up to that point. There are other ways struggling for control and independence could have manifested, as shown by sentient mordremoth- and jormag-corrupted characters.
Unpopular opinion: braham had every fucking right to be angry with the commander after HoT. He was misdirecting some of his hurt onto someone he could actually have an impact on, but I don't blame him for that. He was young, the commander was supposed to be a guiding force that prevented catastrophe, and he had just experienced a unique kind of loss: not just of someone he had ties to, but someone he was so close to truly being able to connect with after a rocky history. How was he supposed to feel? And how was he supposed to set aside his grief and do a 180 from tackling the entities responsible for such loss on the faith that, somehow, that would make things worse? I'd be hard-pressed to reconcile all of that immediately, too.
Favorite relationship: I really love the friendship he and Rox have. They're there for each other and understand each other in a way the commander can't emulate, and it's what they both need. It would be pretty dull if the commander was able to be everyone's everything. Anet do more with Rox challenge
Favorite headcanon: I'll be honest, I'm not super great with headcanons. I guess I'm always afraid for canon to diverge in a way where I don't want to rewrite things. I do think, though, that after the end of Icebrood Saga he's probably gonna have a lot of pain to work through from the whole extinguishing thing, and I don't think that's going to completely go away. There's only so much healing magic can do.
Trahearne
First impression: Oh, wow, look at this experienced well-studied man. Deference
Impression now: good gods he's been through so much. it didn't have to be this way.
Favorite moment
Idea for a story: we've all got a he-lives timeline right? But we also know Caladbolg was supposed to be pretty final in that whole affair, and I like the mind-dragon exploiting its domain with a little body-hopping (it's the basis for my it-lived timeline) and I don't want 1. a change of heart that would render that event completely pointless or 2. waking up from the brink of death either utterly alone and abandoned or buried alive, so I present you with this: we know there were blighting pod clones and mordremoth was trying to replicate the hostages. We also know that trahearne was connected intimately with mordremoth's mind by the final encounter. What if he exploited that same connection to escape into one of the clones
Unpopular opinion: oh there are so many opinions of him and I actively avoid the circles that were hounding for his demise, so it's hard to decide fairly what counts as unpopular. I guess it'd be the common reduction to him of "bookish frail scholar" that ignores both his incredible skill in necromancy and his real-world experience surviving Orr for years. Also carrying around a magic sword as big as he is probably means he isn't all that physically weak, either. Basically he's an accomplished fighter and survivor when he needs to be in addition to being a scholar.
Favorite relationship: his sibling relationship with caithe really could be explored more in fandom imo lol
Favorite headcanon: I'm gonna stick with "fairly physically strong under all those leaves"

Second Generation Headcanons
These are my headcanons of how the children from the epilogue would be. I know most folks don´t like the epilogue (For the most part I still don’t know how to feel about it) but I do, however in my head Takari and Koumi are canon (there are people who like the epilogue but don’t like including non explicit canon ships) (I won’t be mentioning them just in case), I really love the design for the kids!!!
Let’s start:
The following fanart is done by the amazing Mishy (who let me use her art for this post) (go check her out x)
Sora and Yamato’s kids: (sorry I suck at naming characters so don’t expect names)
The only ones who were fully planned they waited a while to have kids because:
1. Were busy building successful and time demanding careers.
2. Given their own childhood issues, they both agreed to wait until both were 100% on board and could provide a healthy household for their kids to grow up.
Were scared shitless anyways
Yamato is the cool uncle who is an astronaut, all the kids LOVE him, and he loves all the kids. Always brings every single one of them presents from his travels or science/related ones.
The son:
Tiny baby (the takeru of the group), everyone is so protective of him not only his sister and cousins. His Digimon follows the gabumon line and is really powerful so he doesn’t really need the extra protection (but everyone ignores this)
Inherited the crest of light. He is a ray of sunshine
Ok hear me out. I think the chosen lost/gave up their crest sometime between kizuna and the epilogue and while their kids got the same baby Digimon as their parents, the crest were redistributed according to their own personality traits.
That scared his parents, because they saw how it burdened Hikari. Even if the darkness was placated years ago (whatever was after Hikari is gone), it couldn’t be truly destroyed. Still, this crest carries a lot of power and responsibility.
Hikari came over and took him to the park and over ice cream explained the crest to him and reassured them all that they have nothing to be worried about and they could contact her anytime in case something happens.
The daughter:
Bearer of the crests of Love and Friendship.
Scarily similar to both of her parents.
Loves to play and participate in group activities, but also enjoys being alone sometimes.
Really into art, she is never seen without her sketch book and a pen. All the paintings in her house are painted by her. And her mother also incorporates some of them into her designs or uses them as inspiration.
100% Daddy’s girl. She looks up to Yamato so much, even dresses a little like him and keeps her hair short for a while (she loves it when they tell her she looks like him).
Loves to hang out with Taichi’s son. They are in the same school.
Had an emo phase.
Miyako and Ken’s children:
The babies having babies. I am emo.
They both work a lot, but miyako does it from home (she works with Koushiro, fight me). They still take them to the park a lot and go on family trips all the time.
THE DAUGHTER:
Little shit.
Actual genius. Always doing experiments, don’t be surprised if you see the dog with a phone taped to his collar, she is probably trying something. Loves computers but science is her thing. After all these years they let her be as long as 1. She is home, 2. Doesn’t involve the digimons, 3. Doesn’t involve fire.
One time Yamato gave her a chemistry set. They had to move out to another building. After that, Ken asked him to bring her moon rocks from now on. She also loved the rocks
Loves to roast everyone in the family (mostly Miyako). Ken has to remind her not to be so rude to her mom. She adores her parents, but this brings her joy.
Crest of purity. Mimi is proud of her
Don’t be fooled, she is the goggle kid of this gen.
The son
Actual cinnamon roll, too pure for this world.
Calm personality. It contrasts a little from his sister’s. But if she is up to something, he is the only one 100% aware of it and would follow her to the end of the world.
Miyako thought she was coercing him, but no, he loves his older sister’s ideas and plans.
Crest of Love. He is really in tune with other people’s feelings, it concerns his parents because he can be overly empathetic sometimes and it affects him. He is really open and wears his heart on his sleeve.
He tells everything to his mom, and if something goes wrong, he’s the first one to contact the adults.
Iori’s daughter
Iori was the youngest to have a kid, he knew it, but he really wanted his grandfather to meet his kid and see him happy and married before he died.
He isn’t sappy or overly romantic, but he believes in love at first sight, meet his wife on his first day in college and didn’t look back.
Lives in the same building as takeru. They drink tea together in the afternoons like old british ladies
The kid
Looks like a cinnamon roll but is Little shit 2. Best friends with little shit 1 and Takeru’s son.
Again, Ken has to make sure they aren’t overly mean to Miyako and Iori.
Crests of knowledge. Wants to know everything about the digimons and the digital world.
Has Iori wrapped around her finger since day one, but he is the first one to call her out her BS.
Isn’t into kendo but likes to try different extracurricular activities (still hasn’t found what she likes yet), but Iori is her #1 fan everytime.
Jyou’s son
Jyou moved around the country for a while, so his kid didn’t grow up as close to the others. He still made sure they all hung out together whenever he was in town.
“I have to make sure you don’t miss me”
“oh, it isn’t like you were around much when we were young”
“MIMI-KUN!”
The kid
Gomamon’s biggest fan. He and his own Bukamon were his only friends for a while, he can’t wait for bukamon to digivolve so he can be with TWO gomamons.
When they moved back, He got close to Takeru’s kid. Doesn’t get what the fuss about his father is about.
He knows a lot about digimons but is more into engineering. Doesn’t like blood.
Inherited his father’s lack of chill. Has a little crush on iori’s daughter (hasn’t figured out how to act around her, yet).
Crest of purity/reliability.
Takeru’s son
He is with Hikari and their kids are siblings. Please let me have this.
Takeru really loves his nephew and niece. He totally would spoil them rotten.
Designated Babysitter. Since he is a freelancer, you can say he has a lot of free time (not to his face tho), he likes to take the kids to amusement parks, go for ice cream, etc.…
After his lonely childhood he is loving having such a big family now. I CrY.
The kid.
Grew up listening to his father’s stories every night.
One thing he learned about them was the importance of being prepared all the time and think before he acts. He is thoughtful, so he really related to Jyou.
Not only that, Jyou is his hero. Takeru was really amused at first when his son would ask him questions about him after his bedtime stories. He is fond of his son admiration for his friend, who also saved him when he was younger, and knows that Jyou being away contributed to this.
Carries a backpack with him all the time. You want water? He got it. You need tissues? He has some. Some kid at school is being mean to you? He would show up to walk you home. (doesn’t like violence)
Crests of reliability. The kid was ecstatic.
At first, he got close to Jyou’s son so he could talk about his dad but ended up really liking the kid. (he likes to be friends with everyone)
Best friends with Iori’s daughter. And hella overprotective of his cousins.
Hikari’s son:
Please
Designated babysitter 2. She is really good with kids, tho she also helps organize plans for only the adults.
Tailmon disappeared one day when she was heavily pregnant, she looked for her the whole day and finally found her in her mother’s house. Tailmon told her she was worried that when she had the baby, she wouldn’t like having her around anymore.
Hikari reassured her that she would love them all equally and she will need her now more than ever. They cried and made up, then her water broke.
Taichi totally cried nonstop the day she gave birth. She still teases him about it.
The kid:
Healthy as a horse, athletic and tall. Total opposite from his mother except for his looks. It amuses Taichi to no end.
Behind the scenes leader. He loves to bring out the best in everyone and always makes sure they are all fine. He specially loves to hang out with Miyako’s kids, Daisuke’s son and Takeru’s son his sibling (they have to deal with the shenanigans of LS1 and LS2, god bless them).
Crest of Fate. Hikari always suspected that like her, he wouldn’t get a normal crest, still cautious as to what exactly this one means.
Hates being alone, isn’t used to it. Tailmon slept in his crib with him when he was a baby. He is always with his plotmon and has got in trouble several times for bringing her to school. He hasn’t told anyone but his Nyaromon digivolved because he ran to the street without looking and was almost hit by a car. Plotmon saved him.
Loves having sleepovers at his uncle’s house, despite their age difference he really loves to play with his cousin.
Taichi’s son
Always said he’d rather be a cool uncle than being a father. But the more he thought about it the more he wanted it. He realized he was the only one without a kid, but his travels still made him hesitate.
Still goes over to Yamato and Sora’s house all the time. One time when Sora was pregnant Yamato arrived from work and found Sora sitting in the sofa and Taichi cutting fruit in the kitchen.
Yamato and Taichi sat down, Taichi handed Sora a bowl of fruit and whipped cream and started eating it with her.
“thanks”
“You didn’t bring me a fork?”
“oh, I am sorry, was the baby growing inside you pushing your organs too?” Taichi and Sora laugh.
“no. but then why are you eating?”
“I cut the fruit”
“well, I bought the fruit!”
“GUYS”
“Sorry… but seriously what’s the matter with you lately?”
“I don’t know what are you talking about… hey Sora how did I do it?”
“the fruit? Fine I guess… why?” both Sora and Yamato stared at Taichi waiting for him to spill.
“OHjustfine?ok,bythewayiamhavingababytoo”
One time he got emotional after seeing his little sister’s son taking care of his son.
ANYWAYS, THE KID
CREST OF FRIENDSHIP *not pictured: everyone laughing about it for years.
Baby but doesn’t like being treated as one. Super independent, dresses himself since he is two. Loves to challenge himself.
Instant best friends with everyone he meets. Loves to hangout with the Ishidas. They are his best friends, also his cousin, also is everyone else. Doesn’t mind being around adults as well, often called matured for his age. This amuses Hikari.
Apart from his parents, Hikari is his favorite person in the world. Right now, he wants to be a teacher like her. (Last week he wanted to be a Chef like Mimi)
He and the third Ichijouji kid will probably lead the next gen.
Daisuke’s son
Daisuke travelled a lot, meet a lot of people and ironically, he married one of his neighbors. He went one time to visit his parents and ran into the girl who lived upstairs, whom he knew since he was a kid, but holy shit. He visited his parents everyday for a month until she asked him out.
When she got pregnant, he asked Taichi for his goggles.
The kid:
Prankster. Did you expect anything else? (his chibimon has a really deep voice and he loves to use him to prank people)
Don’t leave him alone with the Ichijouji girl if you value your home or your life.
Crest of Courage. Loves a good adventure, well for him everything is an adventure: from running errands with his aunt to going with his father to one of his restaurants around the world.
He is a handful; however, he has a big heart and is such a happy kid.
Admires the older chosen a lot and it’s always asking them questions about their adventures. Dreams of being an explorer or changing the world. Yamato patiently answers all his questions about space since his own kids don’t seem to be interested.
Mimi’s son:
She totally married koushiro, bear with me on this.
She has a multifaceted career, although not in what you would expect (she wasn’t interested in acting or singing professionally). She ran a lot of business, selling them when she lost interest. Is not afraid of taking risks. This meant she travelled a lot.
Eventually got tired (yes, I know. Mimi, tired? Yes) and came back to Japan. At first, she was promoting her new cooking book in a tv show but she got offered her own show and has been living her best life ever since.
The kid:
He is quiet, introvert but observant.
Ironically, he speaks 4 languages (Japanese, English, French, and Spanish), he is learning german now. He loves reading so that’s why he likes languages a lot.
He bonds with the other kids over the digimons and card games, ends up going to school with most of them and they eventually bring him out of his shell. He and Jyou’s son are kindred spirits.
Calm kid, but if you mess with him or one of his friends… you will see him angry. He is honest and loyal to his friends.
(you know how each baby Digimon has multiple evolution lines? I read in the Digimon wiki that one of Palmon’s ultimate forms is a cherrymon. Imagine Taichi saying something like: “Well kid, one advice: never tell someone to kill their friends” and the kid being like: “…ok?”, whereas Mimi and Yamato glare at him “I’ll fucking end you Taichi”)
Crest of knowledge/courage, of course.
Last but no least:
Koushiro’s Daughter.
By this point You know what’s up
Koushiro first thought when she was handed to him for the first time was: “wow, she looks like me.” What really got to him (even though it shouldn’t) was how he had someone related to him by blood.
He adores her and is really proud of every little thing she does. Remember the “do it for her” scene from the Simpsons? He totally has one like that in his office.
Tentomon didn’t tell anyone that he spent a whole day watching Youtube hair styling tutorials. No, none. He didn’t tell Palmon and Gomamon who told everyone else, no.
The kid:
Actual ray of sunshine. (i know i seem to say this about every kid, but listen they are my kids too)
She is the nicest kid you’ll ever meet. Koushiro says he’s never had to deal with a temper tantrum.
Crest of Kindness. Loves animals, got her dad to donate money to the oceans and animal shelters.
Sora gave her stickers with cute animals and smiley faces for her birthday and now if she sees someone sad, she gives them a sticker. “Dad, you look sad today. Here!” she puts a smiley face on his forehead, he smiles and hugs her. He didn’t take it off and “accidentally” went on a meeting like that. Miyako took pictures and sent them to the group chat.
Closest to Ken’s son and Mimi’s son her brother. Also loves to hangout with Taichi’s son, and Yamato’s kids.
Loves music, actual prodigy. Plays the piano and the violin (she plays violin most of the time). Wants to compose a song for each Digimon. Invites everyone to her concerts.
Ok, this was long. I didn’t talk about the baby, but i think he would be Hope (since he is the last one) (wrote this in an hour and english is not my first language, so yeah. Sorry)
I think these people love each other so much, they might’ve drifted apart in their youth, but with the years they all got close again. Since most of the kids don’t have siblings, they set up playdates, so they don’t feel lonely. They don’t regret the events that brought them together, they knew they had to let their kids experience it when the time came.
