Hello dear reader! If things look a bit different, it's because I have officially run out of old screenshots. The previous Don Diaries gameplay was over a year ago, but from here on out, everything is brand new!

Dani waits anxiously for a reply, all alone in her apartment watching hospital romances in her underwear. She hopes that Don isn't too busy celebrating Winterfest to respond.

She doesn't have to wait long. He texts back immediately, suggesting a very fancy restaurant tomorrow night. Dani hopes there's no fountain there, although seeing Don in swimwear wouldn't be too terrible...

She confirms the date just as there's a rather aggressive knock on the door. It's her new neighbour, Lyla, incensed that Dani would have the audacity to watch TV after 9 PM.

Dani is not in the mood to be diplomatic. These apartment walls are famously paper-thin, maybe Lyla should have thought about that before moving in.

Lyla is not impressed with her tone. Fuck you Lyla, at least face Dani when you insult her!

Lyla then stalks off, leaving Dani's left tit with a festering grudge.

Still annoyed, Dani brushes her teeth. Maybe she should invite Don back here after their date, give Lyla some real noise to complain about.

Hopefully, she's not making a mistake. But Don almost seemed like a new man at Matteo's birthday, more grounded, less restless.

Dani goes to bed, nervous but excited for tomorrow, and dreams about Don.

He had noticed that the eldest daughter had been spending most of her time in her room since returning from San Myshuno, but he wasn't exactly sure why. She didn't really speak to anyone; with finals approaching, and the end of high school upon both girls, he had thought that perhaps she was just focused on her studies, but maybe there was more too it then that.

"Well...she and Cassie....they were seeing each other in secret and....Cassie dumped Dina in front of everyone to stay with her fiancé, Malcolm at the Prom.", Nina blabbed, not sure if she should have been sharing her sister's secret with Don, but found herself compelled to vent to the one person that she thought would listen.

Don let her continue with the story, but found himself not really paying all that much attention to her. He found himself studying her; studying the way the light hit her hair, the curve of her lips when she smiled, the many freckles that dotted her skin. He didn't know why he had never noticed how attractive she was. He swallowed hard as she looked up at him with eager eyes, as she waited for advice on how to help her sister get out of her predicament.

"Well, I have always found the best way to get over someone...is to get under someone else.", Don said, his eyes flickering down Nina's body just to admire her. "There is nothing more healing for the soul than to let your passions overwhelm you. Wouldn't you agree?"

"Well....I guess I'm just....waiting for the right person." Nina said softly, smiling up at him. She wanted to say how she really felt about Don, but she thought that would have been drawing a line. This was still her mother's boyfriend and until she was absolutely sure that he felt the same way about her...she wouldn't dare risk embarrassing herself like that in front of him. He meant too much to her.

"Don't wait too long.", Don said, as she watched him slowly begin to lean in towards her, just as she heard the sound of keys turning in the door and her mother's voice calling out for help with the groceries.

"Coming, Mamá!", Nina called out, scrambling from the couch and away from Don's grasp. Don rose from the couch as well, smiling at Katrina as she was ushered into the room by her daughter. He watched the two women move into the kitchen and begin talking,

what is taking film like??

Okay so I took one introduction course in college for fun, so I have a relatively limited view, but I can tell you about the basics. Film studies are primarily learning about 2 things, film history and film techniques. So in the first half you start at the beginning with shorts and silent films and work your way up to modern movies. You talk about technical developments, how the social environment influenced what movies were being made and which important films changed the landscape of cinema. In the second half you get into analyzing the individual movies. You learn about camera angles, blocking, mise-en-scene, music, sound, color, acting, pretty much everything that happens on screen. Most of the homework consists of picking scenes from a movie and analysing specific details (for example I wrote essays about The Cabinet of Dr Caligari and Bones And All).

This video gives you a good impression of what your average beginner course teaches, take a look if that is something you're interested in!
