Besides this in the series we see the opposite as in Crowley being over protective of Aziraphale and always to the rescue while Aziraphale let's him (the scene in the bookshop with the demons)
So I just thought what if this is their trauma response to the The Great War or Heaven in general. Because we see Crowley first as an angel who creates the space the nebulas and other stars and not as a warrior, protector or defender. On the other side Aziraphale is a born warrior and a guardian (of the Eastern gate) and now I think that Aziraphale wasn't part in creating the humans or humanity overall. He knew about them because his mission was to protect them. But in the series he is mostly the damsel in distress waiting for Crowley to rescue him. I think he doesn't try to be a guardian, because in sense he failed ( with the humans and perhaps Crowley) so he just gave up, and Crowley on the other side is trying to protect the things he loves, because last time he lost them too easily.
Another thing that defines their cores as a creator and warrior is their view over Heaven. Crowley similar to the Renenese artist doesn't put God first rather themselves and their values, even the humanity. They do what they think it's right rather than what they're told. Aziraphale on the other hand similar to a warrior doesn't question the authority, but rather blindly follow their instructions as we see with his vision : "Heaven is the side of light and truth." Or "Of course they are the bad guys." Even after 6000 years with Crowley he thinks them as an exception rather the system as problematic.
I think in season 3 he will finally see the system as problem that cannot be fixed AND HOPEFULLY REALISE HE SHALL BE WITH CROWLEY IN SMALL COTTAGE 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡
need Crowley in danger from Heaven, need Aziraphale stepping in front of Crowley, need the Guardian of the Eastern Gate, the protector of earth and humans, to protect his world, need the angel to shield the demon, need him to be ready to die for him but so much more willing to live, need Aziraphale to save him, need him to face Heaven and walk backwards into hell, to stand between Heaven and Crowley and choose Crowley, without a doubt and without hesitation
(because he might have chosen heaven when they offered him Crowley's supposed salvation, but as soon as they threaten Crowley's existence the choice will be so SO easy)

Metal head musician Eddie Munson’s black cat Strider who loves pop music and screams at Eddie every time he picks up his electric guitar.
Strider’s favorite is pop princess Steve Harrington’s newest album. Eddie knows each song word for word (he’ll never admit it)

This is the pessimist jumping out of me but I think what irks me most about the level of rep tv hype is that I KNOW half these people are gonna be the exact same ones loudly complaining on rep tv release night because “delicate sounds slightly off at minute 1:34” or “how could they ruin getaway car :(“ or “this new photoshoot doesn’t even fit the vibe” or “why do these vault tracks sound like they belong on midnights :(“

After listening to the album for hours I just realized how cleverly the songs are ordered.
The album starts with Ready To Go, a song about pushing forward no matter the obstacles, followed by Cha Cha Cha, the song that got him to where he is now (which "coincidentally" is the second track, matching Jere's final ESC ranking). Right after that is Takavoltti, which talks about how, now that Jere's famous, everyone constantly asks him to do things—Jere do this, Jere do that—and he complies because he wants to make others smile, even though it can hurt him. And this pain transitions smoothly into Ruoska, a song that literally talks about how the pain, both of being controlled by what people expect of him and the hate he receives, excites him in some way.
Then we get into a more intense section. Kot Kot expresses his anxiety, loneliness, and the feeling of no one responding to him. This theme continues in Autiomaa, where he describes feeling empty despite everything he's achieved and struggling to be taken seriously as an artist. This feeling also comes through in the skit with the therapist, who interrupts Jere, downplays his concerns and treats him like he's just a celebrity who should "get a real job" instead of a person.
And maybe the next song marks one of the album's sharpest turns. As a single, Sex = Money could be seen as Jere selling sex out of desperation, not knowing what else to do, but when paired with the meaning behind Autiomaa it also reflects a bit of that hopelessness of being lost but still wanting to keep going, and so he turns to selling sex.
From there, we have some more upbeat tracks. Bananas talks about people going wild (going bananas) for him now that he's resurfaced, and the energy continues with Huhhahhei and It's Crazy, It's Party.
Finally, we have the perfect song to close the album, People's Champion. Here Jere finally acknowledges himself as a winner, a champion, more specifically, the people's champion. He reflects on his growth and evolution as an artist, from that scared kid to this man who isn't afraid of anything and who will keep standing strong no matter what. And of course, the lyrics "Thank you everybody I love you" as the cherry on top, a thanks to all his fans for everything they've given him and for helping him get to where he is today.
I'm so impressed by the story this album tells, and Jere has done an amazing job with it. I love him and everything he's achieved and I hope he can feel our love just as much as we feel his.
