There are days when you really get to thinking about the past. The ones where you’d look back on old photos and smile, remembering how much fun you had in the moment, or maybe wiping away a stray tear from being reminded that life has its rough patches.

The box had been delivered to Bakugou’s agency by Kirishima. Some friends all teamed up and put together a box for him, just to remind him of their time spent at U.A.

Bringing it home, he didn’t think much of it. He was welcomed by the amazing scent of food that you’d whipped up, as well as a loving kiss on the cheek.

“What’s that?” You asked as you followed Bakugou back over to the kitchen table, watching as he opened the brown cardboard box that looked too full to have even been closed.

“Shitty-hair sent it. Said it was just a bunch of photos and crap.” Bakugou pulled out the first pack of many photos, stacked and rubber-banded together to hold them in place.

Peeling the band off, the first photo gave him a shot of nostalgia. It was when he’d won at the sports festival his first year at U.A. Kirishima and Kaminari stood beside him smiling, arms over his shoulder as they cheered for him. Sero could be seen in the background waving his arms around.

“You really were a cutie.” You tease, ruffling his untamed blonde locks between your fingers.

“Shut up.” Bakugou smirks, flipping to the next photo.

A picture of you and Bakugou holding hands from when the whole Bakusquad spied on your first date.

“They were so proud of you when you finally asked me out.” You pointed to the framed photo in the box of the entire group together.

“Kaminari wouldn’t stop flirting with you! It was pissing me off.”

“So you were jealous that he was making moves and you weren’t?” You hug Katsuki from behind, laughing as Bakugou only growled in response.

You quickly checked up on the food you were cooking and made sure it wasn’t burning.

“I wanted you from the day I laid eyes on you.” Bakugou smirked, looking at you in the kitchen.

“Kinky.” You smiled.

“I thought you thought I was overbearing or some shit.” Bakugou explained, thinking back to the first time you’d even interacted.

“You practically blew my face up, it was a bit startling but we were only sparring. Afterward, you were sweet.”

“I am not sweet.” Bakugou flipped through a few more pictures, smiling at the cheesy couples ones he guessed Mina had picked out to throw in there.

There were a few really good photos of you in the stack, ones from the trip to the forest, and some from the bus ride to the licensing exam.

“What is it?” You ask.

“When did you dipshits do this to me?” Bakugou asked, flipping the photo in question around to you.

“That was the first time you got drunk. You passed out because someone has a bedtime at eight-thirty. So we did what any friend group would.. We tattooed your face in sharpie.” You smile, laughing at the photo of a sleeping Bakugou, face covered in marker.

Your mark was a bright red lip print on his cheek as well as a curly mustache on his upper lip.

“I don’t remember even washing it off.” Bakugou grumbled, rubbing his face at the ghostly feeling of a kiss being planted on his cheek.

“I had to help you wash it off while being completely hungover. You were still kind of tipsy when you woke up at four am.” You roll your eyes at his early sleep schedule.

Moving onto the next hefty stack of photos, Bakugou could already tell they were old. You were much younger in the photos as well.

The first photo showed you and Bakugou wearing almost matching outfits thanks to your parents agreeing to let you and Bakugou go on a sort of ‘date.’ 

You’d known Bakugou since elementary school, and your parents were close with his. You just started hanging out together.

“Awe look at us.” You smile, pointing at a tiny Bakugou dressed in a cute yellow outfit.

“Shut up.” Bakugou smiled at the photo, wrapping an arm around you as he pulled you closer to him.

“We’ve been together for years haven’t we?” You laid your head on his shoulder and started thinking back into the past.

“The first time we actually met you made fun of me for my shoes. Only because yours didn’t light up.” You nudge Bakugou.

“I was not jealous!” Bakugou tried to defend himself.

“Dinner is ready love.” You stand beside him as he searches through the box, determined to find out what’s at the bottom.

Opening an aged red-velvet jewelry box, Bakugou’s eyes widen at the silly necklace inside.

“I thought I’d lost this thing.” Bakugou mumbled, pulling it out.

It was an old All Might necklace. With a mini All Might in the center, Bakugou remembered the first time he’d bought the necklace.

“What’s that?” You ask, giggling at his fanboy nature.

“I’d bought it for you but when I planned on giving it to you, I could never find the damn thing!” Bakugou laughs, unclipping the necklace, motioning for you to turn around.

“Awe.” You smile as you pull your hair back and allow him to clip the necklace around your neck.

“How do I look?” You model the necklace off for him and he only smiles.

“You look beautiful.” He comments, pulling you in for a kiss.

Bakugou was happy. He had you, and he had his passions, and he was truly blessed to be where he was. He had amazing friends and tons of memories he would never forget.
