@imissthembutitwasntadisaster I was going to keep quiet about this because I'm still gathering my thoughts but apparently I can't sit still so I must say something before I burst: Killjoys is GOOD and I can see why you love it so much!!

#five episodes in i'm in love #i'm especially attached to dutch and johnny #d'avin is growing on me slowly but he reminds me of ward (all strong looking men remind me of ward)#(and ward terrifies me)#the fast forward button has been my best friend though there is a LOT of making out #but anyway the writing for episode 5 (the one with hogan and the healing/destroying nanoparticles) was GOOD #you know i didn't think i'd start watching it because action packed is not always my cup of tea #i mean i could handle it with aos because the characters were so good and so were their story arcs #killjoys is FUN though and i like that each episode contains very interesting worldbuilding #the company's effect on the economy and the way people live is devastating and very well explored #and the set design!#it's hard to come up with scifi that looks original these days #because star trek/star wars/doctor who/large outer space sci fi franchises have a lot of originality and design #but i love the way they've approached killjoys aesthetically #it's very rogue one: there is a lot of wear and tear and the places look real(?) if you know what i mean #anyhow i'd give an arm and a leg for dutch and johnny apparently #i started watching this for fun because i had a bit of time after class and now i am invested (oh boy)#kj liveblog: found family but in space (character development my beloved)
